wow i have never heard of vitex, but for someone who has only had 2 28 day cycles in her life, i think that is something i should look into.....
leanne - my sister tried sureslim a couple of months ago, she couldn't stick to it, she found it far too strict, she is now doing celebrity slim, goodness knows how long that will last, it is so frustrating to try and lose those pesky kilos! Goodluck, just start fresh tomorrow and get those evil timtams out of the house!

Trying to get Archie to relax and go to sleep, he is tired but just doesn't want to give in tonight! Bought him a toy stroller and doll this afternoon, he played with them non stop til bedtime, i had to drag him away fromt he stroller to gethim into bed, think thats why he won't go to sleep, too many other more exciting things to do!
sorry Archie won't go to sleep for you Elissa but good on you for getting him a doll and stroller!!! My nephew's not allowed to have any 'girls' toys yet he loves to play with the toy vacuum, dust cook, paint nails, play with Darcy's dolls etc....makes me so mad....so I'm really excited for Archie!

Hey girls, not sure if I will be on 2morrow, we have a flight to catch in Emerald and hour away, so if I don't I will chat to you all in a week when we get back from the Gift Fair.
Wish me luck for the flight, I am totally stressing, my child does not sit still!!! Hopefully he is a good boy for me.
Geez I have had alot of fun packing! Not! I hate not being able to take the kitchen sink hehe.

Thought i would pop in and say hi.
Thing are going ok here. I am having some serious sleep issues with Briley at the moment though. She slept ok lastnight but the night before she woke up for 3 bottles. She had the dummy in her mouth but was just waiting for me to go and make a bottle. Its really starting to take its toll on me. I am getting really really tired and am looking for help!!! Any suggestions???
So lastnight before bedtime she was really grizzly and i thought her gums might have been sore. So i got out the bonjella and i was rubbing it on when i felt a tooth. One of the back ones oddly. I did'nt think she was meant to get them ones till after 18 months. She still has'nt even got her 2'nd top tooth. But after that and a big bottle she slept pretty well last night. I wonder if that tooth was causing all the disruptions???
Briley had her first bad prang the other day. I was up at the Birth Suite (again!) and i was on the phone to Brent when she tripped over a cushion on the ground while trying to drink out of her sippy cup. When when she fell she hit her head on the corner of the wooden outdoor chairs!! She now has a big bump and bruise there. I felt so terrible that i was'nt there to comfort her.
Other than all that, she is her usual happy self!!!
As for me, well i am doing ok. Had another visit to the Birth Suite on tuesday. I started contracting 7pm monday night and it continued throughtout the night and till the next day. I was also worried about my BP as i was very red and puffy in the hands and face. So off i went. BP was 110/80 but they still wanted to do bloods and for me to wait for them to come back. I got there at 12.30pm and left at 6.30pm. All the while i was still contracting, some VERY strong others not. In the end they told me my bloods were fine and the pains where just BH!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I was soooo pi**ed. I waited all that time for them to tell me that. I could've just rang in later for the blood results but no. And after all that, MIL came out yesterday and said she had a friggin BP machine over in their room! :wall: I said to her, you could have told me that yesterday!!
I had another antenatal visit yesterday and BP was the same. I have a feeling it might be on the rise as this is the time is started to play up with Briley. At least now i know about MIL's BP machine now!!
While i was there i asked about how they determine the babies decent (ie 4/5, 5/5 etc etc). Well according to her this hospital does it the opposite way! 5/5 is still way up there!! Not floating but not engaged either. So here i was thinking that me being 4/5 was a good thing!!! But baby is on the move as i was 3/5 yesterday.
I have decided that if baby is not here by next thursday, i am going to see Brent's aunty (a remedial massage therapist) and get her to try and hit some pressure points for me. See if that help bring on labour. I am sooo over all this prelabour crap. I takes so much out of me its not funny. Do you think its selfish of me to try and MAKE baby come out??? I kinda feel bad. Ofcourse baby won't come if s/he is'nt ready though.
Well i am starting to rave here. Hope you are all well. There is a lot of chatter about TTC in here now is'nt there!! How is all that going for those who are trying??? Well i hope. I can't really offer any advice as i did'nt really have to do much to fall this time! I guess it will happen when its meant to. Good luck to you all. Sending heaps of vibes your way!
BTW - My guess for this baby is a girl. Born on the 21 July.
Actually before i go, I was looking over one of those Chinese Gender Charts the other day. And according to it i am pregnant with a girl this time. It was correct for me with Briley and i went through and did both my mums and Brents mum's pregnancies and all were correct!!! So Brent's and my wish for a boy may not be answered ( this time!! ;)) Has any of you done it??? Was it correct??? Let me know! I really would like a boy but i would be happy all the same.

Sara - yes they are right it is the other way. And when I was 3/5th's engaged it was lachlan's bum engaging and he told me it was the head! lol. GL, hopefully you have some news when I return.
kim - i have been wanting to get the pram and doll for a few months now but have been a little put off by DH little comments that he doesn't really need the as he's a boyu, DH isn't against him playing with them though, there have been no negative comments since i bought them. I don't think that a pram and a doll are going to turn him gay somehow.......he hehe
nat - haven't ried the vanilla ones but i have tried others that re pretty ordinary, i just stick with the originals now (really should give then up all together!)
sheree - i really hope the flight went well and you enjoyed your trip away.
leane - ooooooo timtams free at work, that would definately be a recipe for disaster for me he he !
shazz - i got archie's stroller from Target for $10, they were in the toy section near a doll portacot, and some little dolls all the stuff is pink.
sara - sorry you are having sleep troubles with Briley, you must be exhausted! i have heard that the big back teeth are really painful for bubs so hoefully that was her problem and she wills tart sleping again once its through.Sounds like that baby is a little prankster, making you head for the birth suite for nothing. I reckon its a girl too!
Went to the chiroprator today and Archie screamed his little heart out while i was on the table so the receptionist grabbed him and tookhim for a walk, he was very upset, poor little boy. I have a achy back and neck now, always do after a chiro appointment, chiropractor said that finally this is the first time my spine has looked good since pregnancy so thats great, now i can get pg again and stuff it completely! Washing is soaking on the line agan today.....

I've got a killer headache today - and I don't normally get headaches. It came last night and just won't go away. I'ld kill for a nurofen at the moment... but I took two boring panadol instead. I think it's sleep deprivation (my fault, not shauns) and stress over our house.
I've got the real estate coming over tonight to put the house on the market. I've also got Aussie home loans coming over to see what she has come up with. We're not able to get bridging finance :( so the alternative was to make out we were buying an investment property of which the rent will pay the mortgage. But that's just to get the loan before we've sold our house. In reality, we buy one home, and sell ours at the same time. It's all too bloody hard I tell you! I'm over it!

Can I ask... how do you pronouce Aoife (phonetically?) I've never been good with Irish names. That's why I named our son Shaun instead of Sean.
