I so hope your right Kim!!!!
I am still losing heaps of mucous today though. Maybe it was'nt the last of my MP after all and is just CM. Its all so bloody confusing!!!
Sounds like you're nesting Sara and this is it!
christine - thanks a lot for sharing with me, it really helps to know that i am not the only one who needs help. I have heard that a lot of mums take meds during pg and bfing, its great to know that there is that option if things do start getting out of hand again. ATM i am feeling extremely good and positive, but i now know to get help as soon as i start feeling out of control again. Thanks again. We went to Gold Class before i was pg it was fantastic, i have heard great things about the Simpsons movie.
kim - lol, no worries! The harbour cruise sounds great.
vic - hope your feeling better soon. Yeah your DH will no doubt do whatever it takes to make things very easy on himself....if only we could do that and get away with it...
sara - oooo nesting, yet another labour sign! though i never ever nested but DH certainly did! goodluck!
Mum had Archie last night, he is still there actually and i don't know what to do with myself! DH and i went to my sisters for drinks, we had an absolute ball together, i bought some new clothes and jewlery and bag, it was the first time i have felt like myself since i was pg, and it was really obvious to everyone that i was finally feeling good again. Slept in til 11:30 this morning, couldn't believe it. our house is clean for the first time in weeks, we can actualy see the kitcen and lounge room floors, usually archie constantly pulls everything out of the kitchen cupbards onto the floor and his toys are covering the lounge, no matter how many times i try and tidy it up he messes it 1/2 hours later, so its good to see the floor today!
Hope everyone enjoyed thier weekends, can't wait to see who gets evicted from BB tonight! (yes i have no life he he)
leanne - oh i hope everything is okay, im sending you a big hug, goodbye.
Leanne ~ i'm really sorry you will be leaving we will miss you terribly adn hope you will pop in and let us know what little miss Kaitlyn is getting up to i really hope your alright and if you ever need an ear drop me an email or msn or just what ever you want ((((((((huge hug))))))))
sara ~ hows things i hope your at hossie right now having your little bundle you certainly sound very close i nested like crazy oooh how exciting
I am fed up and cranky this afternoon. I feel like all I ever do is take children places and look after everyone and no one ever looks after me. Riley has been whinging all afternoon and one cheek is hot and red so I think teething but DH just got the sh#ts with him and went for a sleep so I am left to deal with everything. The house is a tip, Erin just smashed my good lasagne baking dish and I had to drive Jess to work unexpectedly so she's not home to help AND I have to go out again at 8pm to pick her up. DH is spending all my tax check on his effing motorcycle and I am busy paying bills.
I would like to run away and be by myself right now.
Sorry jut needed to vent no need to reply!
Hi girls!
Just got back from the beach. It was lovely but i am in quite a lot of pain and am really uncomfortable now. The sand i was sitting on would'nt really mould and babies head was pressing down hard on my cervix. I had to lay down most of the time i was there.
When we got home i had to rush to the toilet as i felt a strong urge to move my bowels but had a contraction and it just hurt. I am still losing giant amounts of mucous too. I went straight to the shower after i got of the toilet and the mucous was falling out of me there was that much! Sorry if TMI! A hot shower has made me feel a bit better though. I have notice that everytime i have a contraction now heaps of mucous comes out.
I honestly don't think i have very long to go. I think it will either be tonight or tomorrow night at the latest. I should be careful though, i could be eating my words comes tuesday!!!
Ok i am SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired. My poor poor body. Going to lay down on the lounge now.
BBL!
Hi girls,
Well i am off to bed. I am totally feeling out of my head tonight. I am getting irregular but painful contractions. I feel really sick like i am about to vomit at any moment. I really do think i am getting close.
I am also feeling really panicky all of a sudden. Like i am not ready to have baby yet. I am remembering things that are'nt done. Briley needs nappies and things like that. I am ready to have baby i know this deep down. I am just freakin out!
The moon is shining down on me!!!!
I am going to try and get some rest. Hope you are all well!!
Ni night.
Good luck tonight Sara
Elissa - wow good on you for having some you time. That would have just been so nice.
Omg leanne - hope you are ok, thinking of you and hope all is ok???
Vic - hope you feel better soon.
Sara, sara, sara - this is getting so exciting! GL thinking of you.
Christine - I am so sorry everything has gotten on top of you atm. Things get tough sometimes and you feel like you just can't cope. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
Well everyone we got back this afternoon for our first weekend away in 6 months. It was so good not to have to work on the weekend and just relax and not have to get up to an alarm clock. Lachlan even let us sleep in till 8am both mornings, it was great!
I also am a bit nervous, AF was due today........... Well AF isn't like clockwork like it use to be before I had Lachlan. It can be anywhere from 26 to 29 days. I normally get AF pains a day or two before AF and tomorrow is CD29. I really didn't think we had conceived this month because I left to go to Brissy on CD11. I normally ovulate on CD16, so I had really written off this month totally, and I think for that reason I am doubting that I am ready for this possible outcome. Eek.... Aggh if I am it will be fine, just think I convinced myself there was not a chance. Anyway I still may not be, I am probably over thinking this too much. But just thought I would share. If I don't get AF by Tuesday arvo I am testing if I can hold out that long.
Morning girls,
No news here!!! I honestly can't believe my body is putting itself through this pain! I am going to be dead last to have bubs in my Belly Buddies thread, i am sure of it!
Had a terrible start to the night lastnight. It took me AGES to get to sleep. I ended up having 2 hot showers and after a while more of tossing and turning i managed to crash. I feel ok today. Still quite sore in the hips and am having a bit of period pains but nothing much else. Other than the giant amounts of mucous still.
Just going too chill out around the house today i think. I have to call Target later on. I brought a pram from their the other day and we went to put it together and there was a wheel missing!!! I called them on saturday and from what the lady i was talking to said, she think i will have to wait for the manufacturer to send a wheel to me!!! Ahhhh yeah right! I will be asking for a new pram today!
Glad you had a good time Sheree!! Keep us poted on the AF situation!!!
Hope you are all well!
BBL
Have decided life cannot go on without you gals.
Really struggled with the depression last week, but seem to be on the mend
Just over work, sick bubba, being sick my self, and constantly feeling tired.
Thought if I 'got rid of' a few things in my life it would make it easier, but it only made it worse.
BBL tonight for personals.
Hang in there Sara.
Oooh how exciting SHeree! Are you going to be able to hang on and not test?
Oh man Sara. This baby's gonna be one special kidwith all the trouble you've had. Tell the people at Target you're in labour and not happy - wonder if that will help?
Oh yay Leanne. I nearly cried the other night.
Agggh I think I am getting AF today, I think! Had a really loose bowel movement (sorry TMI) and slight AF pain, but I normally get this sharp coxyc type pain, haven't got that yet, but i guess the day is only young. Glad I didn't waste my money on a pregnancy test last night. We sell them at work, if there was two in a pack I would have, but seeing as there is only 1 I decided to hold out. Still no AF, but she is probably on her way I am guessing.
Great to see you back Leanne. I think we all get depressed at times and can't cope, but hopefully we can all pull each other out of it.
Gosh I didn't want to see you here today Sara - guess you didn't want to hear that from me either. GL again.
Ohhh I forgot to say is anyone elses child waking 5-6 times a night? This is getting ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any tips? I am wondering if giving this bottle with water in it, he is waking for that???? And now we have made a rod for our own back! Was considering giving him back a dummy just for the night sleeps, as I believe he is not drinking the water just sucking in air, but if I have to go in and put the dummy back in like I am the bottle (as he just loves sucking the teat), I am not going there! But really have to take this bottle away from him but I don't know how. It is the only way I get peace during the day as he does not sleep, but will relax and go to sleep with his bottle and then geez thru the night he is just waking so much. I am so confused as to what to do.
Morning Girls...
I've had a shocker night. I get used to Shaun being a good boy - then he throws a doozy. First he cried for ages around 11pm, and just didn't want anything (cuddles, milk nothing)... so we bring him into our bed - then he decides he wants to chat and play. He was full of energy! So around 1pm he goes back to his cot and falls asleep in 2 minutes. Wakes up at 5am crying his heart out - and when I go in, his room stinks. He had vomitted - which is really unlike him. So I completely change him, then bring him back to our bed. Thankfully he goes to sleep. But wakes up again around 7am and vomits again. I had a towel underneath him (thank god), so not so much mess. But then he wanted to play again. So I put him in his room to play with toys, and I caught another hour or so sleep. Yariv reckons he's teething, but I went to my dads house last night and they fed him icecream which had chocolate syrup through it. I think that may be the problem (spew smells a bit chocolately). He's not had icecream so far... When he's not spewing, he's been really happy. I've got heaps of washing today... including his doona & teddies!!
I'm sick to death of keeping a spotless house - and so far we've had 46 groups of people through in 10 or so days (double + that the actual number of people!). I guess its all part of selling the house! Good news is that someone has asked to have a 2nd look through today (with his wife) and they plan to give us an offer after that. Just hope it's a decent offer. There has been another guy really keen on the property too - and he has been twice as well.
Pregnancy is going well. No dramas. No distinctive movement yet - although I was late with shaun to feel movement (22+ weeks).
Leeanne - great to see you back. We missed you! I'm sure we were all worried about what had happened. As others have said - we understand that it all gets too much sometimes, so we don't expect you to post every day with personals!! But we'll be so glad if you just post occassionally and let us know how you and katy are. Hope you're feeling better.
Kim - hope you had a good weekend.
Sara - I would be cracking it with Target. You'll need a pram - with wheels! And very soon!!!! I bought a gazebo from Kmart a few months back (cost $150). I checked the box, and it didn't say anything about it being a 'temporary structure' and it was a fairly secure thing. We attached one side of it to our house, and we drilled all the legs into the concrete to ensure it was steady. We used it once - then about 2 days after we errected it, Melb had a huge wind storm. Our gazebo pulled out of the ground like a straw house! It had metal poles, and the force of the wind bent most of them! The plastic connections snapped! I was so pi$$ed off... so I took it back. And Kmart refused to refund or exchange because they said it wasn't meant to be a permanent structure. It wasn't a bloody tent!!! Reminds me, I must phone head office to complain more!
Sheree - hope AF doesn't come (but sounds like it might)... :( Fingers crossed for you.
Christine... Aaawww Hugs to you honey. What a rotten weekend. And bit rough that your DH is spending you tax refund. Shame about your dish being broken too. I hate it when one of your favourite things breaks.
Elissa - were you as shocked as I was about the BB eviction? Travis is gone! I'm a bit surprised about Aleisha... and Yariv was convinced that Zack would be going. We were both wrong! So who do you think will win? I've got no idea now. When will they decide??
I better get motivated and out of my dressing gown. Have to do all the washing, clean the house blah blah blah....
Have a great week girls!!!!!!!!!
just had to add...
Normally Shaun wakes around 9-9.30am and has his first nap around 12-12.30pm.
After his eventful night, he has been playing in his room since 8am.
At 10.30 it seemed very quiet in there - so I quietly opened the door, and he is sound asleep on the floor. One sock off, surrounded by toys, on the hard, cold floorboards. I've removed his toys, covered him in a doona, and taken a photo.
Poor little man is exhausted.
Oh Jodie, poor little guy!
Sheree, Darcy's just had a coule of weeks like that. SHe was waking for an extra feed every night. Bit easier for me than you guys though. Then she was waking, waking. She seems to have stopped though. Went from 7:30-&30 last night without a peep...and she'a asleep again now for the last hour.
Jodie, hope shaun doesn't have a bug?
Kim - yeah I have found it is so hard to know what is going on, I mean we have been continuously sick since the end of February, I was counting up today when speaking to a tresillian nurse, vomitting and dirreha bug, tonisillitis, viral ear infection and about 6 colds. And we haven't had a tooth come thru since about 11mths. So who god dam well knows, but he is definitely being easily pacified by the water bottle as when we pick him up he just pushes himself off us, doesn't want to be comforted. I really thought we would be sleeping thru more regularly by now it is like we have a couple of weeks umongst all the crap nights and that is it! Bet he is exhausted at daycare today after waking up 5-6 times last night! They struggle to get him to sleep too, I tell ya this child won't sleep and the thing is if I didn't have the bottle, it would be so much heart ache for both of us. But I do beat myself up and wonder if I am just taking the easy option! I just don't know what to do! The tresillian assured me this morning that if he is mainly sucking on the bottle, not drinking the water it is still unlikely he is getting air and getting a tummy ache (this is what I was mainly concerned about - I just don't want to make things worse). And if this was the reason for his night waking, should I try a dummy for sleeps, but if I am having to go and give him his water bottle all night long, I definitely don't want to get ourselves in a situation of having to replace the dummy again either (like we were up until 7mths when we took away the dummy). What to do..... Trial and error, yep that is what the tresillian said and I agree, but I am sick of trying things and I guess at the end of the day I don't want to continue to make things worse either! A mums job is so hard.......
I just got a feint BFP, OMG!
I am shaking................
Gotta get to work, talk later!
Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh Congratulations!!!!!
About the sleeping thing. I've decided that you can't make things worse. They're gonna do what they want until they're ready. You're not doing anything wrong - you're doing what you need to do to get by, to cope. As for the dummy thing, I was desparing a few months back that I would never have to stop getting up, but she's sorted that out and the dummy menas it's bed time for her. She has about 3 in there just in case though.
OMG!!!!! SHEREE!!!!!! Congratulations honey!!!! Keep us posted!! I will be waiting around for the official word!!
Well i just got back from town and Target gave me the wheel of a display model. I suppose thats ok. Better than having to wait for one from the manufacturers.
Now i think i might go and have a lie down while Briley is asleep.
I can't believe Sheree has a BFP!!!!
OMG Sheree, are you testing again??
Leanne- welcome back, I don't care if you never do personals sweetie just come in and vent. I would miss you if you weren't her.
BBL Riley has spilt DH's coke and its my fault apparently
Christine I'd be angry too....your DH is giving me the poos! lol. Why can't you spend your tax cheque?
Thanx girls, I can't believe it myself, OMG!
And that was with a wee at 2pm that went trickle trickle. Yep I will test again in the morning. We sell the tests in the shop and we have none left I took the last one. So my hairdresser of all people (only person I have told - don't really know anyone well enuf that I would tell anyone else), went into the IGA and bought me another test. What a gem! I just don't want people knowing around town yet especially since we are well known here being in the Newsagency and all. They will just gossip about here now LOL. She wasn't worried though.
So yes I will test again in the morning.
So if we don't have a girl, I will definitely proove that theory wrong that is for sure. As I left on CD 11 and normally ovulate on CD16 or 17. I think we DTD on CD10 night and CD11 morning. So there you go, and I didn't think I was the easiest girl to fall pregnant. This was our 3rd month, but the 1st month, I think I got in on CD16 cause I just made a decision right there and then to try. So really this was our 2nd month.
I am so nervous, I think i am so nervous because I wasn't expecting it!
Comon Leanne and Elissa, join me as a belly buddy!
What would cause a sudden temp spike? Darcy went up to 38.6 an hour ago. I've stripped hor off and given panadol by she's still boiling and irritable.
ETA if it came up at 2pm, it's def positive!! :D
Has it gone up any higher Kim?
I was told by the doctor at the hospital that anything over 39 degrees you don't put it down to teeth there is something else contributing that they are fighting. Hopefully it doesn't go up any higher. Lachlan has had 2 now well over 39 degrees, and one when he was first teething at 38.9 degrees. Hope she is ok Kim.
Hey can anyone tell me what I should do if I believe Lachlan has conjunctivitis. Should I take him to the doctor or is there something I can get from the chemist?
Just starting a new thread ladies.
Congrats Sheree I'm so excited for you!!
Will BBL to post properly!
