sheree- yep i googled it but it didn't give much info, just that it helps regulate the hormones. What was your reason for starting and did you notice much of a change in yourself?
Tania - bummer about the new/old boss, hope he has changed. Hope Jayden had a nice big sleep for you. Jayden is very cute ptting himself to bed, even if the novelty did wear off quite quickly! Sorry to hear about the termites, thats awful, as if you don't have enough to worry about.
kim - sounds like vitex might be worth a go then. LOL at Cam picking up the poo, i did the same thing when arch pooed everywhere, there was a littel bit stuck on the bathroom door but after close inspection i came to the conclusion that it was a munched up bit of bikkie, not so! GL with the xray. Woohoo Darcy and her sleeping, arch has ben the same, i put it down to a growth spurt as well, he is changing heaps in looks and personality.
leanne - you poor sausage! ye definately treat yourself to a shower, i bet you feel a whole ot better after a good scrub. Hoep Katy has a better night tonight.
Im really sorry to everyone who had a bad nights sleep last night but i have to brag about this.....Archie slept in til 10:30 this morning WTF!!! Think he must be having a growth spurt, he has been a little angel the last couple of days, shame that i know it won't last! i think Arch must have thrush, he has a weird nappy rash that is like red pimples on his bum, groin and legs, bugger looks like he'll be back in sposies for a few days, have just ordered some flushable liners today, bit late though at least i'll have em for next time. We are going to victoria to stay with family for the weekend for DH birthday, looking forward to having a few drinks and laugh.

Sheree ~ does that medicine help people with PCOS do you know. Yep we're thinking about TTC #2 soon. YAY....
Tania ~ Jayden is such a cutie. Katy just came up and gave me a kiss and toddled herself off to her room. But as soon as I put her in she started screaming. Dinner's soon so I will let her exercise her lungs a bit. Termites are yuck.
Kim - hope your sore bits feel better soon. I hate having sore bits. Especially when the pain takes over your whole body and you can't do anything.
Elissa. Kaitlyn's had those pimply things too. Paw Paw cream seems to help it. I put it down to teething. Lately I have been putting EVERYTHING down to it, and still only 6 teeth. Far out. Hpope hubby has a good b'day.
Nat: big hugs to you.
Sheree: congrats with the test results. Hope things keeping going your way. I think it's a little pink one.
Well this afternoon I made play dough. Kaitlyn came home one day with it all over herself (even in her ears) so I thought I would see what she does with it. She loves it, bangs it and squishes it in her hands and even tries to roll a sausage if I do it. Growing up too fast.
Well it's gone quiet and the kitchen alarm has gone off so my dinner is ready.
Nothing exciting just mashed veggies and gravy tonight. Could not be bothered defrosting the meat. Sounds like a kiddies mean eh?
BBL
-
leanne ~ thats why i was taking Vitex i have pcos
-
Thanks Shazz. Took 2 1/2 years for Katy to come along, so don't want it to take as long 2nd time round. Not getting any younger. Metformin worked eventually.
How you feeling?
-
i'm ok thanks are you feeling any better today and i took both vitex and metformin i'm actuallu thinking about going back on both cause i'm way out of whack since having Ryan though i really think my hormones are just cracked i'm still producing milk after 5months of stopping feeding i so didn't think that was possible but ...
-
Elissa and Leanne - Vitex is meant to help regulate your cycles and help with pms. I really think for me it just got things working right, because both times I have conceived I went on it just for that month and fell the first month on it. Now I can't see how that is a coincidence!
-
hmm milk. I still 'leak' and I expressed for the first 12 weeks. What does that make it, a year ago?
-
weird huh leanne
sheree i don't think it is coincidence at all
Kim ~ hope your feeling better hun how did the Xray go what are they doing for you hope Cam is looking after you
-
Yeah I was just thinking the same when I was having dinner - how r u Kim?
Agree whole heartedly Shazz - as much as it is very natural, it really does work!
-
No xray:( they didn't want to harm anything else that might be in there.....just dealing with it ATM.
-
Hmm you poor thing when are you due to test
ETA just looked at your chart looks good this one you are taking vitex ? you have a definate therrmal shift fingers crossed
-
leanne - i have been using paw paw on the pimply things this afternoon so hopefully they start disappearing. Gosh i hope it doesn't take as long for bub no 2 as it did for Katy, i can't even begin to imagine how stressful that must have been, 14 months was extreme stress for me! They sure are growing up way too fast, i might give playdough a go next week too, im sure he'll just eat it though!
sheree - Will get some vitex tomorrow, sounds like great stuff, i agree that it doesn't seem like a coincidence that you got pg both times first month on it, thats amazing!
kim - bummer about the xray, did they decide not to do it just in case you are pg?
Arch stayed up til 8:30 tonight hes usually in bed by 7:00 but after sleeping in so long this morning he is really out of whack, i used olive oil in his bath tonight instead of baby bath and his skin so so beautifully smooth and silky i couldn't stop rubbing his arms and legs. arch got the hysterical giggles on the way to bed tonight, he usuallywears Huggies at night and cloth during the day but tonight i put a big thick cloth nappy on, it is so big that he could hardly walk, he was running down the hall in hysterics, lol, such a funny little boy! I have a really sore leg tonight, sore behing my knee then sorta radiates down the back of my leg to my ankle, very strange, when i went for my walk last night my calves felt all tight and a bit crampy, wonder whats going on there??......
-
It is def worth a try Elissa - I think once you become a mother that becomes her most favourite saying hehe.
God I feel for you and the pain you must be in. U aren't taking anything are u?
Hey your chart is looking great BTW. You could very well be an April belly buddy of mine yet????
I have woken so tired this morning. Planning on doing some paperwork while lachlan is at daycare and the minute I get him home at 1pm, we are both going to bed! I am sooooo tired, my bed is calling.
-
Good morning girls!
I feel like a Mack truck has hit me :(
another head cold. sniffles, cough, headache... blah.
Good news: we sold our house!! We got an offer on Monday of $308,000 - but commissions & fees are $9,400 - so we really wanted $310+. So we said; "$310,000 & we'll accept". So they accepted $310. The wierd thing is that the deposit is to be paid on Sunday! I phoned the agent to see if it could be paid on Friday - so that we can bid/offer on Saturday - but ALL the agents are in an all-day conference! Bloody annoying. We still have 'open for inspection' tonight - and Saturday - even though we've sold. So that's annoying too... especially when I feel sick. At least a weight is off my shoulders though.
I met a guy yesterday at the salon, and he seemed very keen. Fingers crossed that he buys the salon. As I was driving home, the broker phoned and has a woman also wanting to look at it... so I'm meeting them tomorrow night.
Shazz: what are you renovating? We did the kitchen and bathroom at our house. Such a huge job - but so rewarding afterwards. Now we look at homes, and wonder if we need to renovate again. Good luck with it all.
Elissa: ooohhh on the poo's that Archie did without a nappy. You poor thing. I'm so lucky that Shaun never gets nappy rash. Hope you have fun in victoria for DH's birthday.
Sheree: I know nothing about blood levels - but yours sounded good. Gosh, I never found out that sort of information with either of my pregnancies. Ignorance is bliss for me. Hope you're feeling a bit better from yesterday. And hope you don't cop bad m/s.
Tania: your work situation will be 'interesting'. Hope the new boss doesn't make you feel uncomfortable... and you need to change jobs. That would suck. OMG at the termite bill!!
Kim: I would kill for a holiday... but can't see that happening for a lonnnng time. :( I can relate to the power point thing - but my stupid DH TEACHES shaun how to flick the switches. Thought it was funny to show him all the buttons on our TV, amplifier, DVD etc. Not so funny now! we're watching tv, and it's a constant battle to stay on the same channel, and the same volume. Clueless men! And Shaun gets really cheeky eating as well. He thinks it's funny to deliberately throw his food off the edge! Shame about the non-x-ray.... frustrating not knowing exactly the damage. Hope you feel better. How long do they estimate recovery?
I'm hoping Shaun is a good boy today. So far, so good... playing in his room. I need to clean the house again - although I'm not going to be so predantic this time. And if I get the chance, I'll try to nap when Shaun naps. I feel like I could sleep for a week. Last night I woke up at 4am and nothing could get me back to sleep. I ended up getting out of bed and msn chatting to a friend in LA. My tummy was hurting a bit too - when I turned. Just muscle stretching I think. Went back to bed at 6.30am - and tossed & turned. Yariv slept through the whole thing! He says that 3 years in the Israeli army conditions you to sleep through anything.
-
I am back at work and I feel wrecked.
Any ideas other than going home and not being paid for it? Damn sick days.
-
Curl up under ur desk for sleep LEANNE hehe. No seriously hope you feel better soon.
Jodie - as I said to you on MSN, the beta that I have previously had done is due to all the bleeding and they really thought I was loosing Lachlan like I did with the twins. I only had one bt this time, gee i reackon I had about 8 up till 12 weeks with Lachlan. Aggghhh the joys of it. I reackon the blood lady was sick of seeing me. Oh and great new with the house, I told ya it would work out, and you will have the salon off your hands soon too!
Oh and forgot to say Jodie, I was up at 4am too, lachlan woke and I could not for the life of me get back to sleep. And I was in bed by 10-45pm too, just like I said I would be, well a bit later then I said ooops. Better then 2am though. We could have had a chat on MSN I was that awake!
-
Elissa: Archie's bath sounds great...I might try that for myself haha. I love when Jayden gets into hysterical laughing its so cute!! Hope your leg feels better today!
Congratulations Jodie! Why are they still going ahead with the open house on Saturday? Fair enough I guess its too late notice for tonight - Hope the Salon is off your hands soon too! Hope you got your nap today....hmmm....those were the days haha
Kim: I read back and read what happened! Oh you poor thing! I hope there isn't anything broken. Fingers crossed for you that you get a BFP!!
Leanne: Hope you're feeling better soon! Nothing worse than going to work when you know you shouldn't be there. Love the pic of Katy BTW she is a little honey!!
Must have been the night for being up!! I got up to Jayden 3 times last night and he cried on and off all night. I didn't go in to his room at all becuase by the time I got up he'd stopped again. I thought he might be having nightmares, he didn't really oversleep this morning and he was in a good mood (which he's not if he is still tired).
-
Hi Tania, any success on the house hunting? Lachlan wakes 5-6 times a nite generally, has been for about 5-6 weeks now. Driving us nuts. Hope Jayden sleeps thru for u 2nite.
-
jodie - congrats on selling the house, you must feel so relieved! Yep you sure are lucky Shaun doesn't get nappy rash, it is very annoying.
tania - yep i agree it was the night for it, i got up to arch at least 6 times last night, he didn't seem in pain or anything, must be a stage they are going through.
Did the grocery shopping today and i was so good, i didn't buy any snacky food sweet or savoury, right now im wishing i did, i bet my tummy thanks me in the morning though. CD40 today and no sign of pg or AF, gosh i can't wait for this cycle to end so i can get onto the vitex tablets, forgot to look for htem today, will look tomorrow. I think if i don't get AF by Fri morning i will do a test JIC as i plan on drinking this weekend. Arch has little blister/pimply things on his fingers???? The first thought that came to mind what hand foot andmouth, but i really don't know anything about it. Will ask at the chemist tomorrow.
-
evening all just quickly yay jodie on the sale
-
Oh congratulations Jodie! That's great news!
School sores Elissa?
Shazz don't think I'll test. Got a huge dive today and watery cm....think we missed it. Dunno how....
-
kim - i don't really know what school sores are either...thanks for the input, i will do some google searches shortly and see what i can learn..
-
We had an open house tonight, and three groups of people came through. One couple seemed really keen on the property. Then the agent told them it actually sold yesterday - and they were gutted.
The contracts said that they were going to pay the deposit on Sunday - which is a pain, as we couldn't have put offers on any homes until next week. But the agent had spoken to the new buyers, and asked them to pay on Friday, and they've agreed to do that (agent says' they're paying $30,000 in cash!)
If they pay on Friday - we're not going to have the open house on Saturday.... phew!
We're going to look at 4 homes on Saturday.... one of which I'm keen on and we've seen it twice already. I want to talk to the agent, and put an offer on it. Yariv is still not convinced, but I think he's willing to accept whatever I want... lol
Hey Sheree... I checked MSN at 4am... had I saw you online - I would have buzzed you! Hopefully I will sleep tonight. Might have a spa bath... hot chocolate... burn lavender... just to make sure!
-
Bugger Kim, but you never know.....
Elissa - bugger on the long cylces that would drive me nuts!
Jodie - great news on them paying the deposit early. Gee what's that saying when it rains it pours. You could have got more money, ohh well not to worry!
-
Yay Jodie on the sale and hooray about the early deposit.
Elissa the blisters on Archie's fingers sound like school sores. They start as a blister and then go pussy and then eventually heal in about a week. Need to keep them covered. Katy had them and I popped it twice before I knew what it was. She went hysterical. Now I know why. Hard to keep them covered I know with a little one. The spray bandaid worked towards the end.
Good luck with it.
Just popping in.
Need to wash and iron.
Bye

Sheree: There are just no houses around!! There was one we have been waiting for the photos to be uploaded but it looks a little dodgy, in the space for the fridge....there is no fridge yet there are tennants living in it still, we are thinking there isn't enough room for a decent sized fridge. Jayden has been up nearly every night for what seems like forever, but I know he'll get over it as he's always been a good sleeper.
Elissa: OMG CD40, i had cycles like that when I was in Melb, as soon as I moved to QLD i was consistantly 29 days....now is a different story. Bonus for you either way though, BFP or having a few drinks on the weekend! My first thought with the spots was school sores too, best to just get it checked at the chemist.
Hi Shazz, Kim & Leanne
Jodie: Oh the poor couple! They should have cancelled the open house. Good luck with looking for a house.....we have had no luck at all!
Jayden went on an excursion(sp?) today with FDC to the airport and saw his Daddy! Chris emailed me from work saying how cute Jayden looked today hehe. We had gone to the airshow a couple of weeks ago and since then Jayden has been obsessed with planes so he had a ball today. He didn't have a sleep at all today, he woke at 7.30am and didn't go to sleep until 8.30pm!! So finger crossed he sleeps through tonight.
More packing to do tonight :( I only have until friday as Jayden and I are going down the Sunshine Coast for SIL#5's baby shower...can't believe she only has 6 weeks to go!
Good night all xoxo
-
kim ~ don't give up hun you have had a dip at 9 dpo could be ( and i'm praying it is a implantation dip lets see what tomorrow brings keep temping so you get an acurate reading:crossfingers:
-
hi everyone else got to run i'm late again
-
The story of my life Shazz LATE hehe
Tania - hope cute on the excursion. How do they get them all there? BAby seat?
Hi Leanne.
Well my irritable bowel has been playing up all god dam week and I am sick of it. Not sure what is triggering it. Maybe the hormones, but it seems like after every type of dairy meal. Like last nite we had curried chicken. Can't remember what we had the other nite but it was a dairy meal too. I haven't started the non dairy yet, finding it a bit difficult, but maybe I will be forced to stay off dairy. Maybe my body is telling me something.
-
SIL has a station wagon with the little seats in the back. I think she only has 3 kids on Wednesdays, one is in a booster seat and the other 2 (inc Jayden) are in baby seats.
How horrible having irritable bowel! Have you had any MS yet....hope not that as well!
-
I guess I just feel generally achey in the hips/back, legs (of all places) and squirmy in the tummy. Not too bad, but makes me feel ordinary all the same.
-
Tania- Riley went on a FDC excursion to the Koala park a few months ago and loved it, his carer has a 4wd so can fit all 5 kids in it. She sometimes takes them to playgroup too. Thanks for that web site too, very useful.
Sheree- IBS sounds horrible, do you get it from stress as well?
Kim- crossing my fingers for you, when can you test?
Shazz- I always rush around madly of a morning too!
Leanne- I have been resisting chocolate really well and went for a walk with DH after the 2 youngest were in bed, 3 nights in a row so far. I was totally shocked when I weighed myself on Monday morning!I am going to admit to it in the hope that it will shame me into losing weight LOL 67.8kg and I am only 163cm tall. I have been eating sultanas and seeds(pepita) and nuts as a snack instead of cakes etc too. My problem is I am impatient and want it to all happen right now LOL
Elissa- hope Archie sleeps better soon, I have been spoilt with Riley since Tresillian he has gone from 7-7 every night.
Nat- hope you are OK and not getting too busy.
Jodie- great news about the house! Hope you sell the business too.Good luck on saturday.
I have tutoring in a minute so I had better go and get ready.
-
Yeah Christine, it is generally Stress related for me, followed by something I eat that finishes setting it off. But at the moment, I am not stressed, definiely food related, which it is normally NOT!
Good on you with your dieting, well done, you go girl.
-
Just quickly from me cos I feel so blah...I'm out. Back to CD1 Didn't think i'd be this upset but I am. Have read all of the posts.
-

Oh Kim I am so sorry hun.
-
sorry to hear the news Kim.
:hugs: to you.
It will happen.
-
Maybe next month cause then it could be another May baby!
-
Oh Kim i'm so sorry hun huge hugs to you xoxoxoxo
-
sherree - sorry to hear your IBS is playing up, i had 3 really bad flare ups in my first trimester, then didn't have another one til i finished bfing at 5weeks. I had a flare up the other night, not a bad one though, we had this delicious crispy chicken tacos and i ate WAY too much, spent a bit of time on the toilet that night...how was your IBS during Lachlans pg?? I really hope it settles down for you. maybe it is dairy, our bodies are clever things, give dairy free a go and see what happens. My IBS is mainly stress related to (or anxiety mainly), but some foods send me off too..i take a Good Health probiotics capsule every morning and since then i have had very few flare ups, do you take anything like that?? they are meant to be great for bubs in belly or bf too.
chrsitine - how fantastic that Tresillian really worked so well for Riley!! I am really happy for you that you are getting such great sleep finally!
kim - the HUGEST hugs imaginable to you, i am so sorry it didn't happen for you this month.
jodie - great about the house, gosh who has $30000 cash??!! Can't imagine i ever will!
Archie has hand foot and mouth, woohoo, no more weekend away for us. he has a few blisters on his fingers, one on his foot and a few on his tongue which he keeps trying to get off with his fingers. He is fine atm though just a bit sookier than usual, hope it doesn't get much worse. Looks like the people we were goingto stay with for the weekend might come here instead so we can still have a birthday night for DH, hope so! That is it i am testing to put my mind at ease tonight, CD41, what a joke! My cousin is quite sick in hospital atm with Crones disease, i really feel for her she is in so much pain and shes not responding to her meds, its her birthday on sat, its looking like shes gonna need surgery, boohoo.
