Just a quick post from me. I just wanted to let you guys know I might be awol for a little bit. Went out with some BB girls last night. However after we left I had a small accident. I fell down about 11 stairs after my foot went from under me. I've cried a few times this morning from the pain. So I went off to get it checked out this morning. Well they think I have a cracked sacrum - but no sense in xraying cos they can't do anything anyway (I knew that - I just wanted to tell someone how much it hurts!). All I've got is panadol cos codeine makes me spew. Wooohoo! NOT. It hurts to pick stuff off the floor, to lay in bed, to pick Darcy up.....sleeping on the loo is looking like an attractive option.
Jodie really hoping the salon sells for you.
Shazz hope the renos are going smoothly
Sheree, they are all different.
Leanne OMG Katy is soooooooooo gorgeous. One of those kids you stop and stare at in a shopping centre. You are not the fattest... But I'll be in WW too. I have 15kgs that has to go.
Geat to hear Colby has slotted in nicely Sara.
So glad you went back to play group Elissa.
-
GL leanne with weight watchers, geez I have atleast 20kgs to loose too but no use now huh! Well I always said I would worry about my weight after kids even though it still does get me down at times. No use worrying about it now. That will be great that you and Christine can help each other through it though. There is nothing better then a bit of encouragement sometimes.
Omg Kim - you poor thing, how long does that normally take to heal? Just when you need to pack and eveything.
Well guys I feel a little under the weather tonight. Been going like crazy the last couple of days to get up to date with my paperwork and just when I see I am getting there, there is then still something else to do! I am getting lots of growing aching pains at present and I just think I am too tired to try to continue with the paperwork 2nite as much as I want to try and push myself. We will see.... but for now ni ni.
-
Leanne- I have all the books from my aunty who bought the whole set of do it yourself at home so I even have all the points for eating out etc. I want to lose 10kg (well actually 20kg then I could weigh the same as Jess LOL actually no she weighs 42kg and is the same height as me)
Sheree- hope you get all your paperwork done and feel better soon.
Jodie- hope all the interest in the house translates into a top price for it at the auction.
Shazz- hope your bathroom is going well.
Kim- hope you feel better soon it sounds painful, hope your ears are OK too LOL I have taken dolased/mersyndol whilst pg so you could take that for pain, its great!
Well I am going to weigh myself in the morning which could be a very nasty surprise cause I haven't for ages and my clothes are feeling tighter. I may or may not confess the figure LOL If its over 65kg I may spiral into depression eating!!
Riley is talking so much more now, yesterday he took a book to DH and said "read" he also says bye bye really well now, and later (for see you later) he still is nowhere near as good as the girls were but I'm not worried.
Another day at work tomorrow, why do weekends go so fast?? I love my job but sometimes I just want to stay home!! At least its only 7 weeks until holidays again.
-
Ouch Kim sounds terrible...... I just googled it to see where the sacrum was.
Christine, just pulled the WW cookbooks of the shelf, so there's a start. My points guide and note book are already in my bag ready for tomorrow, so will have to get into it properly again tomorrow.
I am way way over 65kgs! I think that is where I want to be LOL..... Great I just gasve my weight away to the world. Oh well.
Anyways, Katy's been in a feral all day, so clingy and whinging. She just wanted to whine whine whine. She's finally gone to sleep after a bottle of her 'kiddies milk" (anyone else use that??), and now she is snoring!
She did some funny things today though. She said 'yeah' alot today for one of the first times in ages. She has also been saying 'pawwwww' when she has done a pooh. Classique.
Well I am off to have a cuppa and go to bed.

Okay, I'm Back !!!!!
I made taco's for dinner tonight. Washed down with cinnammon donunts.
Talking of weight - I weighed myself earlier this week - and I've only gained 2kg since getting pregnant. That is really unusual, as I would normally have gained 2kg without being pregnant  I gained about 25kg with Shaun... so I'm feeling good this time. I think I might be losing weight of areas other then my tummy - as it's HUGE. (reminder: must take some belly shots)
Talking of Weight Watchers - I've worked as a 'helper' at WW for years - and I mean years!!! So if you have any questions - shoot them my way! It's a great programme - and teaches you life-long healthy eating habits (as opposed to meal replacement shakes). So good luck with it Leanne and Christine. Add me to MSN if you haven't done so... (jodie259@hotmail.com) or email me (jodie@deadsea.com.au).
Leanne: woohoo on not being sick too!!! How cute was Kaitlyns report. Awww... and woohoo on the jewellry! Love your new ticker photo.
Elissa: I had a huge tummy last time, and it did get difficult to do any work. So I won't be able to do it for too long this time, as I'm already big. Playgroup sounds great! Didn't know you did things like make bickies! How cool. And how scary - thinking about school enrolments! God, I have no idea where I'll be living, let alone what school to go to. How did the 3rd Birthday party go? Was it uncomfortable?
Shazz: gosh, don't know what rock I've been under - but I didn't realise that Ryan was asthmatic. Poor little soul.
Kim: OMG at your accident. Ouch at the sacrum. Can't be good. Will that prevent you from working? Must be hard with Darcy.
Christine: What I would give to see a "6" on the scales! Before I go pregnant with Shaun I got down to 65.5kg (my goal is 62). After Shaun I was 85.5kg!!!! I got down to 82.5, and now I'm 84.5kg. and I'm only 5'1" (157cm)
My neck is killing me. maybe stress has caught up and targetted my neck. I'm off to heat up a wheatbag and chill out.
Who watched Greys Anatomy?? Interesting!!

I lost 22 kgs from WW, I was a bit of a freak, went to the gym twice a day etc... Just crazy!
Whahooo Jodie on the 2kg's CONGRATS that is fantastic. I am like you except a bit taller. I think I started at 83kg's before falling pregnant with Lachlan (and that was only because it had started to creep on in the previous 6 mths). I did get down to 62kgs and my goal was 61kgs about a year before having Lachlan. Then I put on a whopping 26kgs with Lachlan, yep went well over the 100kg mark (the doctor made a joke about reaching the tonne - I was so sad). And now wouldn't have a clue what I am, don't own a set of scales anymore, but I would say that I am at least 85-86kgs and my height is 5ft 7 (168cm). I hope I don't put on much this time, aiming to cut out as much dairy as I can this time round.
I think the part of my body I hate the most is from my caesar. Where my cut / wound is I have this huge overhang - JUST AWFUL!!!
Hopefully after pregnancies and babies I can then start to focus on my body, haven't had a chance to exercise since having Lachlan esp now with the Newsagency, so really no wonder I look and feel fat.
I think the worse thing out here where we live is that all the women really look after themselves, but they have time too!!!!!! Seriously all the women have fab bodies out here.
Whahooo Shazz on the sleep in and have fun shopping.
Cool on Katy's word Leanne. I am waiting for my moment to try to toilet train Lachlan, think we are a while off yet, but tiny steps of progress and him understanding me is going to go along way to having this toilet trained by the time no.2 comes along. So hopefully.........
Riley is getting clever too Christine huh.
I think Lachlan is at the stage where he wants something and he is just soo frustrated with it, he bellows out sound and wants us to know what he is talking about. Like yesterday he was pacing back and forwards to the kitchen and whinging and it just come to me, ohhh he must want Water. Yep sure enuf that was the problem.
I really should get too bed early I am so tired during the day time.
Chat soon.

kim - OUCH! Not being able to have codiene must be awful, hope it heals up okay.
leanne - the new pic of Katy is gorgeous! Thweekends certainly do fly don't they, probably cause we try and cram so much stuff into two days.
sheree- sorry to hear that the tirdness and soreness has really kickedin, i can't believe you are 6 weeks already, ur pg is gonna fly!
christine - yeah i have put on 5kg in the lst 2 months, too much junk and no excerise, baaad. Riley is doing great with his talking! I have heard that girls are usually better than boys at talking.
jodie - woohoo for all the interest in your salon! i can't imagine having a really big tummy, mine didn't even seem to really get in the way of anything much, i think its cause i am tall bub has more room so my tummy doesn't have to be so out there. The 3rd birthday party was different...as son as we arrived the wife started telling us how awful their lives had been for the last couple of months due to colds and chest infections blah blah blah, so they obviously know they have done wrong by us cause she kept making excuses (as they always do), oh well i am glad we did the right thing and went to the birthday though and it was good to see their little boy. Its DH's birthday on Friday so will be interesting to see if he gets a 'happy birthday' from them....the ball is in their court. Thanks for asking by the way. I hope the wheat bag helped your neck.
shazz - have lots of fun in the city!
Just went in to check on Archie and hehas fallen asleep with a nappy full of poo....another sore bum. He was playing with no nappy on last night trying to air out a little rash and he pooed everywhere! Up the wall, curtains, all over the carpet, toys himself me DH. We cleaned it all up then heard Arch whinge, he had pooed all over the carpet again!!!! I couldn't believe it, i just picked him up and dumped him in the bath and said "no more kids!" he he. Arch has been quite cuddly and sooky and a bit unsettled at nights, not sure what his problem is. I laughed so hard today, Arch wanted something to eat from the kitchen but i was ingnoring him so he put on this really angry voice and shouted "MUUUUU-UUUM!" I looked over and he had a really angry look on his face! Oh no, its the beginning of the rest of my life he he.
-
Yuck at the poo Elissa, are his still really soft too? Lachlan's aren't, he was - well what i thought was putting it on - this reall exertion (sp?) expression red face and grunting - it did sound like a real put on, maybe he is just learning how to dramatise it, but yep sure enuf there were hard pebbles in there! Wade got up me for saying he was putting it on. Yes the ball def is in ur court u have done no wrong. And what you said about archie sounds sooo like Lachlan, honestly yesterday the passing and the def tones in his voice - "like I want" and "stop ignoring me". Just priceless.
Hey still no bleeding here, I am so very very pleased! Hopefully this pregnancy is a really good one.
-
Guess who just woke up - for the second time?
Feel like a truck has hit me, sore throat, sore ears sore chest. grrr.
Dropped katy off at cc at 7 and then went to the doctor. Said it was some infection and that all I could do was rest. So got home at 8:30 and went straight to bed and just woke up. Far out eh? body must have needed it.
Might go get some cupa soup. feeling a tad peckish.
BBL for some much needed personals.
-
Sux being sick Leanne - yes your body must have needed it. Look after yourself now.
-
oh leanne and kim hope you are both feeling better soon
-
After a huge sleep feeling a lot better. Thank goodness. Think I caught it just in time :)
-
so glad to hear your feeling a bit better
-
That is great Leanne.
Ok gals I got my blood tests back and me is one happy camper, not only have I had no bleeding this time round (which has made me truely grateful and 10 times more confident), but I have good beta and progesterone levels too.
My level with this pregnancy at 5 weeks and 1 day is 3900 and with lachlan's pregnancy it was 2149 at 5 weeks and the twin pregnancy that we lost was 51145 at 5 weeks 4 days. So atleast I can be assured that we don't have twins this time phew!
My progesterone level with this pregnancy is 57 (5 weeks 1 day) and with Lachlan's it was 53.4 (at 6 weeks) and not sure about the twins pregnancy.
All these figures you say. Hehe. But those figures from our previous history is ever so pleasing. And I guess I really did need these figures to set it all right in my head that all was ok. So I am doing cartwheels here atm. You would not believe how happy I am. For once I get to experience a trouble free pregnancy.
-
sheree - yes archies poos are still very soft, ithought they were supposed to be normal poos by now, have stopped using cloth nappies atm cause i can't stand cleaning the huge stinky soft poos off his nappies! Poor lachlan for having the hard poos yuck. I am very happy for you that your body is doing the right thing this time around, maybe it just needed a couple of 'practice runs' to get it perfect. Its great that you are feeling much more relaxed and confident about the pg, oh and yay for only having one baby in there!
leanne - oh no, just when you were getting excited about having a week free from illness! It sounds like a good sleep is ust what you needed, hope your feeling better in the morning.
I am feeling clucky today, i reckon it must mean i am just about due for AF finally, i am CD38, i sure hope my cycle sorts itself out soon! Was talking to a friend of a friend today who has just had her second bub a little girl 12 weeks old (her older son is just turning 3) her son still doesn't sleep through and never has, he dropped his day sleeps ages ago, she was going on about how easy her new bub is cause she knew what did and didn't work from the first time around and just did everything that was the easiest and less stressful and time consuming for her, so she is one happy stress free mum this time. I hope the same can be said for the rest of us! My house looks like a bomb hit it, i really need to get to work tomorrow it has gotten to the stage where i just can't live in it anymore, DH doesn't think it is bad but i sure do!
-
Hey Elissa have you ever thought about taking Vitex (I think it is Agnus Castex Vitex) brilliant for getting your cycles working properly. I used if for this pregnancy and Lachlan and first month both times I fell pregnant. It is a natural herbal tablet - Blackmore brand.
Oh and I think men are all the same re: house cleanliness - drives me nuts. Wade's attitude is what doesn't get done today gets done tomorrow, but my attitude is why wait till tomorrow when it can get done TODAY!! LOL.

Hey there everyone.
Just flying in and out. Not really in a chatty mood lately and flat out with uni anyway. Still reading in and keeping up with you all though.
