Sara: settling on the house on the 10th October. Baby due 26th November. So I have about 6 weeks to get settled into the new home. Actually, we get access (to start renovations) on the 26th September.
And no idea of the sex of the baby. Really wanted a surprise this time.
-
Lucky for that then!
Suprises are nice. I think we might find out for the next 2...or not...i don't know! I love the suprise at the end. Lucky i won't have to make that decision for some time yet though!
Do you have an inkling or what you might be having? Have the pregnancies been different or the same??? But thats not really much to go on! I can vouch for that. My 2 pregnancies were 100% different! And my labours!
-
sara - i didn't get any photos af Archie in the rain but i got sme video footage, i am hopeless at remembering to get the camera out. i agree formula is fantastic stuff, nothing wrong with it, Archie grew up strong and healthy on it too and i will have nothing against giving it to any future babies if need be. i hope you get Colby's wind sorted out so yo can get some rest. woohoo on the platimun membership! I am thinking of getting it too, just gonna wait til the bank balance builds up a bit again.
how many kids are you planning on having, four or more? Good on you large families are great.
DH wants a surprise baby next time, but i think i'll end up wanting to find out again, im not good with surprises and waiting.
I have finally cleaned out our bedroom, it was sooo dusty its disgusting, can't believe i let it get that bad, now i can actually see the carpet! Gonna change the furniture around when DH gets home this afternoon. Archie slept 15 hours last night!! and no night waking, if he always slept like this i think id have 5 kids! Gotta go and buy a heap of those big plastic containers with wheels to store all the baby and maternity stuff and get it of the bedroom floor. What does everyone do regarding toys?? There are just so many and he hardly plays with htem, i don't know whether to just leave them out, pack them away for next bub or give them away....what is everyone else doing, we have hardly any storage and a very small shed that is already full.

Hey Girls
Just at a friends house and its like an internet cafe lol. 3 of us are on laptops while another is getting some pregnancy photos done! Thought I'd take the chance to catch up on some personals.
Sheree I am so so sorry that this has happened again. You know you are in my thoughts constantly. I can only imagine how much harder this time with Wade working. Thank you so much for sharing your story - I know how hard it must have been for you and how sad you must be feeling right now. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
Christine Your weekend away sounds lovely. I can't wait to start taking some holidays with Emerson.
Jodi GL with the packing and the move. Emerson has done the same thing lately with going to sleep. He really fights it and its quite painful some nights. In saying that last night he fell asleep on my lap at 7.30 without a bottle lol. I can't believe you're 30 weeks already! That has gone so fast!!!!
Ellissa I have put on 9kgs as well :( Not happy Jan! I am motivated to get rid of it in time for summer. I'm thinking about joining the gym... OMG @ him picking up the swear words!!!
Sara Glad to hear things are going well with Colby. The horse for Briley sounds liked fun too!
I am officially on uni holidays now for 2 weeks. I am really looking forward to catching up on things - particularly sleep lol. After holidays I have 5 weeks and then its the end of the year. YAY! I can't wait!
Ohhh and YAY for the new platinum members. Isn't the arcade great? I love playing some of the old games!
Better go lol. Will talk soon.
-
Nat - Great to hear from you hun! You have been very MIA around here lately! Uni must be keeping you so busy. I really hope you enjoy your holidays. How is uni going???
I am umming and ahhing about wether to go back now. I don't want it to take away all my time from the girl. If it was going to be like that i think i will wait until they are both in school. I really want to do it though. As strange as it sounds i enjoy the study and assignments and stuff. If i do decide to go back it will be part-time externally.
Brent made a good point though. He said he think i shoud go back part-time externally and then full-time when the girls are bigger. He said that at least then i will have still have had a part in it in the mean time. I thought this would be good. I am just going to play it by ear. When the uni sends out their letter asking if i want to continue, i will see how i feel at the time and make a decision then. No use stressing over it now.
Elissa - I am a bad one for forgetting the camera aswell. I had hundreds of photos of Briley when she was Colbys age now and i only have about 50 or so of Colby. BTW - I am planning on having 4 children. I said to my mum if i won the lotto i would have 6! But thats not likely to happen! Speaking of lotto - 20 Million this saturday!!
Ok i have a question for you all girls,
How long after having bub did your AF come back???
Well, i bled after Colby's birth up until about a week ago. Then this afternoon i went to the loo and wiped and i have bright red bleeding. I think that i might have my period already. Is this normal???
I have been getting some period like pains which i thought were associated to my other problems. But now i think it might have been period pain. Since i noticed the bleeding that pains have gotten a bit more frequent.
Surely i should'nt be getting a period back already! Colby is only 5 weeks old and exclusively breastfeeding!!
-
Morning girls,
Quiet in here at the moment. Did i scare everyone away with my AF question???
We are thinking about going into mums for the day today. I did'nt want to go in till tomorrow or friday but i hanging out to go in for some OTHER human interaction. I will leave the girls with mum and go and do everything i had to do tomorrow so i dont have to go back in again! Hopefully they dont play up!
Well better get moving. I will pop back in shortly to see if anyone else has posted. I am a bit of a loner today!
-
nat - hi great to hear from you,lol at the internet cafe. Hope you catch up the much needed sleep during your holidays. lets hope we can both be good and drop the wieght quickly and easily.
sara - yea i hear you on the photos, we get slack don't we. What are you studying at uni? i grew up as one of four girls and loved every second of it, still do. If we win the 20 million we'll probably have 5 kids! unlikely though. i cant remember when i got my period back but im sure i bled from birth to 6.5 weeks on and off. GL with shopping, its nice to have other human interaction thats for sure, hope the girls behave well for you mum.
archie has been a little sweetie this morning, i don't feel 100% reckon i've got a bug of some sort, got the runs woohooo, not! hope Archie and DH don't get it too, its nothing awful, just rather not have it thats all. DH was snoring SO loudly last night and i couldn't get him to stop so i resorted o dragging the spare matress into the lounge and sleeping there, not happy jan.
-
Afternoon Ladies.
Just got back from a lovely lunch at Charlies. Its a beautiful day here and I'm now watching Emerson play outside. Just trying to decide whether to sort the inbox or work on my assignment while I am sitting here LOL. Going to mums place for dinner tonight so a nice relaxing day.
Sara Uni is going really well. I am really enjoying the studying though I have to admit to really disliking 2 of my courses which makes it hard to find the motivation lol. But all in all I am loving it. I can't remember with the AF question lol  If you can study externally then go for it. I wish I'd waited a year before starting uni. I hate feeling so stressed and putting Em second sometimes. Can you just start with one course a semester?
Ellissa Hope you are feeling better soon! Pmsl @ DH snoring that loudly!
Better stop procrastinating and get something productive done I guess. Will talk later.
xoxo
-
nat - hope you enjoyed dinner at your mums house. I certainly wasn't PMSL last night i can tell you now!! he apologised this morning and told me that if it happens again i need to tell him to sleep in the lounge so that i get a good nights sleep in bed, he looks after me! i haven't gottena ny worse tonight and had a roll for tea so i think im gonna survive through it lol
-
Morning all.
Well a big day here at work so won't stay too long.
Just had to tell you guys that I HAVE FINALLY LOST 2 KGS.
Hopefully the other 15 or so just get lost too. LOL :)

leanne - woohoo on he 2 kilos, well done its about time they finally left you! lets hope the others follow them
-
Morning girls,
Elissa - Brent has been breathing and snoring heaps lately too. Esp when he sleeps on his back. I have to say though its not that bad that i need to move into the lounge!! You shoulda rolled him out of bed!!
Leanne - Thats great news about your WL honey! Before too long the other 15 will shed themselves too hey!
Nat - Glad to hear you still enjoying uni hun.
BBS - Colby crying...
-
Hi girls,
Another quiet day in here!
Well i think we might be hitting our 6 week growth spurt here. For the past 2 days Colby has pretty much slept and ate the days away. Lastnight we had a GREAT night. I put her down at 9.00pm and she slept through till 4.15am. It was lovely. Would've been even better had Briley not decided to wake up at 2.15am!!! You can't have everything though i suppose.
Well i think i might have sorted the potato issue. I definetely think its baked potatos that give her wind. We have had mash and boiled potato lastnight and the night before she has'nt budged the next day. No wind problems at all. I did buy some gripe water just incase we have another bout though. I'm not really game enough to try and find out if it really is the baked potato though. I don't want to go through a day and night like that again if i can help it!
As most of you know was at uni at the beginning of the year doing my Bachelor of Nursing. So as it is close time for QTAC applications shortly, i am expecting a letter from the Uni asking if i want to continue or not. I'm still undecided but i think that i am just going to do it part-time external. I don't want to be taken away from the girls at all. But i still want to do something for myself.
So....i have decided to do a Doula course and do that as much as i want to. Once i have completed the course and will be a qualified doula, i will be able to charge for the births. So that is a way for me to still be able to do what i love (midwifery) and bring in a little income for myself.
I am also going to speak to an acedemic advisor about what i should do re: going back to uni part-time external or part-time on campus. I really don't want to flood myself with uni but i still want to work my way towards my dream.
So i have some tough decisions ahead!
-
Hidy ho all. I'm supposed to be doing housework while Cam's not here shhhhhh....
Sara I think mine was pretty soon after lochia finished too. How cute are your girlies?!?!?! You're right. That is a big decision. I've been thinking about the doula course too.....
Nat so are you going to have a rest these holidays?
Sheree that's awful about having to go through that on your own. Was Lachlan with you or with Wade? and you're very welcome.
We're off to Griffith tomorrow to find somewhere to live.....really looking forward to a 6hr drive NOT! Then back Saturday for the football final....
-
hi all hope you and bubba are all well i;m knackered so back later need a shower to liven up some
-
Hey girls,
Just heading to bed but thought i would drop in quickly with some updates
Jayden has had high temps the last few days and i have had very little sleep, yesterday i was up from 3.30am with him and couldn't go back to sleep...my alarm went off so i had to get ready for work, last night Jayden kept waking and hysterically crying nearly every hour. Tonight so far is good and his temp has gone.
My SIL (in MElb) had a baby boy on Wednesday and my friend had a baby boy this morning, just SIL#5 to go she's not due til the end of the month, but she is having a boy too. My friend's baby has fluid on his lungs so they can't touch him yet which is really sad, she had 1 hr labour no stitches/grazes lucky girl but they said it was the quick birth why he has fluid on his lungs.
WE FINALLY SIGNED A CONTRACT LAST NIGHT!!! It was the house i originally wanted, they had $399k on it and we got it for $387k, brand new 4br/2bathroom/double remote garage etc. The Property No. is 104222019 if you want to check it out.
Any way this post is longer than i expected again, i better get some sleep while i can.
Sorry no personals again tonight, i will try to catch up soon!
oxoxoxox

Just quickly... coz i'm super tired!
That place is just gorgeous Tania! I love love love it! I am sooo jealous of your kitchen!! And the front looks amazing! Congratulations! How long till you settle?
-
Morning girls,
Vic - You've been very quiet lately! Good to hear from you though. Hope you are all well. Did you get my email of the girls????
Kim - Yeah i was thinking about the Doula course ages ago but just forgot about it. Now i am starting to think about my uni course coming up i am getting excited about studying again. Sick i know! I have downloaded everything from the Optimum Birth website and just have to purchase moldules now if i want to go ahead with it. I've even done a little research on the request for doula's up here. I spoke with a lady that i found here on BB who is in Townsville. She gave me her number so that i could meet with some other Doulas here. Did'nt make any plans yet as i still don't know what i am doing.
Tania - Got your email. Wow! The house is beautiful. I agree with Nat, the kitchen is awesome. I'd love to have a nice big kitchen like that! Do you like the square sink in the bathroom?? Its a bit different is'nt it! I bet your excited about finally getting away from the cats!!! Congrats to you and your family on the birth of the new babies. Sorry to hear that one of them is'nt doing so well. Keep us posted on how he goes. Poor little man.
Hi to everyone else! Did you all get my email??? Let me know if you did'nt so i can forward it too you. Its just some new photos of the girls.
Well we had another lovely nights sleep here. That was until Briley woke up at 5.00am and decided she wanted to stay awake!! So i put her in our bed as i usually do but she kept crying here and there. When she did Colby would stir straight away!! I kept just shoving the dummy back in Briley's mouth trying to keep her quiet so she would'nt wake Colby! Lovely are'nt i!
Not much planned for the day. Might go into town later when Brent gets home. Its easier to drag him along. Not that he likes it one bit!!!
I do have to get in and vacumn, mop and all the rest though. House is way overdue for that sort of clean!
Hope you are all well...
-
sara - how exciting becoming a doula! wish i lived near you so you could be my doula. Good on you for doing something for youself, will make all the difference i reckon, take way that feeling like your day to day life is so monotonuos and mundane sometimes. My mum put her bachelor of Nursing o hold this year too, she has a big decision to make whether or not she will continue the course, she has 1.5 years to go, having no money while studying and still having a teenager to support is her dilemma, she doesn't have a husband to rely on unfortunately. I used to think id like to be a midwife, but having gone through the labour and birth and seeing what midwives do i don't think i could hack it, hospitals scare me for a start! Im glad Colby is sleeping so well and not having wind troubles, hopefully it was just the baked potato. gotta love the dummy, it has been my saviour, Arch has been an extremely sucky bub right from the start, i feel bad sometimes when i shove it in his mouth so he'll be quiet. i didn't get ur email my address is elissamancuso@optusnet.com.au (hope im allowed to post it here) Love your ticker photo it is so gorgeous, its so weird to imagine Archie having a baby brother or sister at this age! My house is putrid atm, i haven't mopped in ages and having vaccuumed in a week, and i have no excuses like a new baby! Will do it on Sunday morning while Arch is at nanna's
kim- hope your 6 hr drive goes quickly and Darcy is happy enough in her carseat. GL finding a house.
shazz- hi!
tania - wow baby boys everywhere! we haven't had any girls in the family or friends for 7 years all been little boys. hope your friends bubba's lungs get working properly asap so they can cuddle him. Congratualations on the house, and its the one u wanted tahts great! When do you move in? Do u have to move far? I hope Jayden is feeling better tonight and u get a good sleep.
Archie has been very cute this morning (of course), he has taken quite a liking to a certain teddy this week (it is a little AFL bear that sings the team song and has a footy jumper its a Sydney one Poppy's team) he had to put socks on the teddy when i was putting his socks on, thenhe shared his brekky and drink with teddy,a tad messy, then he took teddy to bed and i tucked teddy in next to him and gave teddy a dummy, Archie just thought it was so cool that teddy had a dummy too lol.
DH and i are going to The Ballroom Blitz saturday night with friends, it is a function they hav down here once a year, you dress up in 70s stuff and dance to 70s music all night, its really fun. Don't know whether i will drink or not, still have this bug that isn't bad just a bit uncomfortable and annoying but dont think i want to annoy my body any more by filling it with alcohol. I bet eveyone will assume im pregnant again cause i won't be drinking......
Archie is sleeping through Playgroup yet again, will have to go next week though i have a raffle book to return.
Enjoy your weekends
leanne - woohooo i bet ur excited its Friday!!!
-
I have forwarded the pics for you Elissa. And i saved your email address too!
-
evening all sorry no personals i'm feeling really sorry for myself i now have a infection in the root canal that they have just done so i feel like crap hope you all have a great weekend
-
Sorry girls I am still around, just been concentrating on my family atm, just something I need to do.
Thanks Vic for your thoughts, it was nice to hear from you.
Sorry this is about me or should i say my sister, but it is worrying times here again.
Not sure if I told you all but my sister was 2 weeks pregnant behind us and she had a scan in Brisbane (public system) today and they said that her baby at 8 weeks 4 days from Crown to Rump was measuring as 9 weeks gestation, but the limbs don't match (meaning the legs). They could barely see the buds for legs. She is freaking out as you would.
Can they really make this type of call so early, really the baby is still so small at this gestation???
I told her to go and get a referral from a gp to go and pay for a scan and get a second opinion, for peace of mind.
The public system have told her to come back in 4 weeks as it is still too early to tell. Meanwhile, 4 weeks of utter worry!!!!
She had an early pregnancy test at 3 weeks come up positive, so we are pretty sure she is atleast 8 weeks 4 days. She only dtd the twice and that was early to mid cycle and obviously that was good enuf for her to fall pregnant. They told her today that she probably has her dates wrong and the baby is probably younger then 8 weeks 4 days even though they did say the crown to rump was measuring correctly. The babies heart rate was 170bpm.
She is so confused and just doesn't know what to do.
-
Sheree, I would get her to go and get a private scan done. When I was pg with Riley I had to go into hospital for a collapsed lung and had my 19 week scan in there (public) I then went and had my private one as I had booked in for it and was out of hospital earlier than anticipated. My obs said the public scan measured things that hadn't been done for many years and didn't do other important stuff- he was horrifed by the poor quality of the scan info. Just for her own peace of mind I would get her to go to a well respected private clinic to make sure. I do not mean that scans done in public hospitals are bad just that there can on some occasions be problems. Hope no-one takes offence.
-
Thanks that is what I told her, to go and get a private scan for $100 and peace of mind it is worth it. She needs to know what she is dealing with. She took total offence and said what are you saying public system is not good! She said well even though they said 4 weeks, I really should leave it a week. I said well by the time you get in a private scan place it probably will be a week, so get to the dr and get a referral so you can book! I ended with the conversation, well I am only trying to help, so you do what you feel is best. I just think she is so confused atm, understandably. Personally I am so out of pocket from expenses to do with curettes etc.... (as I am with MBF), but this has just proven why I would rather pay and then atleast I get answers and know what / where to go next.
-
Sheree - so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you. I'm actually just sitting here thinking about my SIL (the one I actually like lol) ... she's pregnant at the moment ... about 8 weeks I think and we had a call from DH's dad yesterday saying that his mum had gone to see her as she was not "feeling well" but no other information. I just hope she's not having any pregnancy issues. She's being trying to get pregnant for 2 years and wants this baby so much. Can only imagine what you are going through.
Yes, Jovi weighed 9.6kgs last time we weighed her at the hospital a few weeks ago. I ended up finding her baby book and looking at the charts. She's actually pretty much on target with where she has been on the chart. She should only weigh 11.5 to 12 kgs by the time she is 2 so she's doing ok after all. Made me feel a lot better!
I think Jovi's going through the terrible 2's early ... she has such an attitude lately. SCreaming high pitch when she wants something. Always telling us No! Getting into just about everything. Throwing herself to the ground when you try to stop her running to places ... lol Anyone else??
-
Thanks and I hope you sister in law is doing ok.
Yeah Jovi is doing fine, we just have small children. I am convinced Lachlan is always going to be small. Still not fussed on food, well what I mean he is fussy and only eats what he wants and generally that is crap! He has a very small frame, so I can't see him ever being big. He is so light compared to other babies I pick up, so that is good in one way, especially when I was pregnant.
Yeah and as for the tanties, yep all normal, been having those for a while now, have our good and bad days as does anyone I guess. They know what they want the little monkies.
-
sara - the pics are just beautiful! thanks for sharing them with me.
shazz - you poor thing, i hope they sort you out soon so you can feel good again.
sheree - oh your poor sister, i really hope everything is okay for her, waiting another 4 weeks will be hell for her, sounds like a private scan might be the way to go. Good on you for taking some time out to be with your family, i hope you are feeling okay.
babycrazy - sounds as if Jovi's weight is perfect for her. By the sound of it Archie and Jovi could be twins atm with their tantys, no's, and screams!
Archie is still in love with the teddy, it has been everywhere with us this morning. Betta go, bought some groovy fabric from Spotlight this morning to sew into the botom of my jeans to make flares for the party tonight.
-
Hi all whata weekend we all get to go sit at the hospital tomorrow me with my infection in my face and nick with we think either a fractured footor a couple of broken toes dam it i'm so over this crap then we have to go out dor tea for my parents aniversary ( 35 years )

Hi girls
Tired, tired, tired is all i have to say tonight. Just got home from footy and had a big night last night. Got too bed at bout 4.30am. Just settling the girls and hittin the hay myelf.
Hope you are all well.
Ni night!
Oh and look at my new sassy avatar!!
-
-
gees it is quite in here
christine Vic Jodie Bec angela kim Tania leanne sheree Elissa kellee Alison Sara Nat hope everyone is just busy with their families
i did a norty today Dh has refused to let me get Ryan a dolls stroller to push Buzz in ( all his little friends have them ) but i got him one today and it is bright pink lol
-
shazz - Hope its only his toes that are broken, how did you get an infection in your face, my sister had one a few weeks ago that started with a big pimple that she squeexed, not nice. Good on you for getting the srtoller, Archies is bright pink too and DH wasn't exactly thrilled with it, Poppy went and bought him a lawn mower to push around instead but he still likes the stroller too. I saw a mum down the street the other day with a little bub in the pram and her litle 3 year old was pushing a bright pink stroller with a doll in it, good on her i say.
sara - luuuurve the avatar, im very jealous! I can't believe you were up til 4:30am, was it a good night? Must have ben if you stayed up that late. Hope the girls let u catch up on sleep last night
Just got back from kindergym, Archie had fun and has finally learnt that he has to go to the mat when the bell rings, progress.
Saturday night was fun but not as good as previous years have been out there. I was in bed by 10:30! Party pooper aren't i, we started at 5pm though. I haven't had an anxiety attack for nearly a month now and have been so relaxed and happy, but sat night i woke up after sleeping for two hours and was shaking violently, i thought i must have been cold so put more clothes on and got an extra blanket but couldn't stop shaking, had stomach cramps, felt nauseaus, was seeing spots like i was about to pass out, i tried everything i could to calm myself down and nothing would work, after an hour like this i finally got back to sleep, but ive been feeling anxious ever since and cant pinpoint what im actually anxious about. That was the worst ive had it by far and it was really scarey. Might look into a counsellor and try to get to the bottom of what im worrying about this time.
hope everyone enjoyed their weekends!
-
bugger elissa i hate panic attacks i have suffered a few over the last couple of years and it is definately not nice to feel like that a counseller sounds like a good idea hugs to you
-
thanks shazz, i needed a hug.
I finally got the guts to ring and book an appointment with a counsellor. I am seeing her in 2 weeks time, hopefully i can sort through some feelings and ease my anxiety.
Archie was so adorable today i am just loving this age so much! His fav word atm is ***** so i really need to stop saying it, its a very hard habit to break though, DH is constantly telling me off.
-
Morning all.... have not been able to read all the posts yet but will.
Hope you are all well.
We spent the weekend in the garden, boy gardening is hard work. Got attacked by my rose bushes and Mr Sun shone and gave me a little sunburn!
All is well over here....
Anyone know how to get my avatar?
BB tonight for some personals and a catch up.
Have a good day all.
-
Morning girls,
Leanne - RE: How to get an avatar...You just send an email with a brief description of yourself, how you want to look and how many children you want in there and how they will be. Mean standing or on your hip or crawling. Then send the email to avatars@bellybelly.com.au. There is a thread a about it here - https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ad.php?t=14299
Elissa - I have a quite a few panic/anxiety attacks when i was in my late teens. Not a nice thing to go through i know. I hope you get to the bottom of them. Yes it was a late night! The latest i have ever had i think. I was pretty blind drunk though. We started off singing kareoke till about midnight then everyone else went to bed except me, brent and his sister lindy. We just stayed up having a massive d & m and just talking. There were a few sooky moment on my behalf but overall the night was good. And i was soooo lucky that neither of the girls woke up all night! Colby took a while for me too settle but finally did at 9.30pm. And thats when i started drinking. I just kept on checking on them all night and both slept like logs!
Shazz- You are not having a good run at the moment are you!! How are you feeling today hun? Hope your not in too much pain!
Sheree- Good to hear from you hun. How are you going?? Are you handling everything ok? I really hope that everyone is ok with your SIL's bub. Like everyone else has said i would def go for another opinion, just for peace of mind. I things all work out to be ok. Keep us posted will you.
Baby- I hope things are ok on your side too with you SIL. You too keep us posted.
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well.
Well we had a big day in town yesterday. We went in and got the girls looked over at the MCHN. Briley is now 80cm's tall and weight 12kg. Got a bit of advice on thing like the bottle and dummy. We are'nt supposed to be giving her a bottle at her age apparently. Nor a sippy cup! She said that at Briley's age she should be using a pop-top or a cup. So thats our next mission! Cutting out the bottle.
Colby has just woken up.
BBL to finish off!
-
Thanks Sara, will look into that tonight.
How exciting.
No bottle? Far out Katy still has her night bottle and we are only just getting her onto a sippy cup.
Was always lazy when it came to drinking - right from birth.
I think we are in for a challenge!
Back to work for me.
See ya.
-
Agggh we still have bottles and sippy cups and I have no plans on changing that atm! We are all happy and finally it is bliss - TOUCH WOOD!
-
Back!!!
Good to hear thing are getting better for you Sheree.
I'm glad i am not the only one giving a bottle still! Our bottles are only for sleep times though. I just put her down without one though. Gave it to her before bed. She did take a bit to go to sleep but i just ignorged her whingy cry. She finally went down.
Also tried to get Briley on the potty thismorning. Just basically to introduce to her it. Told her "wee wee's" and "poo poo's". Then made her sit on the potty in the toilet so she can try and associate the 2.
As i said earlier, we went and got the girls checked at the CHN yesterday. Colby is now up too 5.6kg's, is 58 1/2cm. So she is growing nicely. Her weight gain must be slowing down cause she has only put on 400gm's in the last 3 weeks. I am not at all worried though. She is a healthy sized bubba. I thought 6cm's was a lot to grow in 6 weeks but apparently they grow 1cm a week.
Colby had a great nights sleep lastnight. She is gradually going to bed earlier in the night which is great. She went down at 8.30pm lastnight and slept through till 4.30am. Then we went back to sleep and she slept through till 9.30am i think. So things are running nice and smooth here. Touch wood! ;)
Lots of smiles happening here. Not too much "cooing" at the moment but it will come soon. Colby's head control is getting a lot better too. As is her arms and legs control. I am sure she looked like she was reaching out to touch the pictures on the sides of her basinette. We also finally have full eye focus. Still the occasional cross eyes here and there!
As for me, well i have been doing the ring around today too UniSA and JCU to weigh up the pro's and con's of doing the direct Midwifery course through UniSA or just go back to JCU. The lady i spoke to at UniSA and apparently the only way i can get into the course through them is if i pass the STAT test. I have to get my stuff together though cause applications close on the 28th September!
Well i don't think there is much else to report.

Gosh can't you all tell my computer monitor screen is on the blink. I can't see colours real well and when I did Lachlan's siggy I picked pink, oops!
You are such a good mother Sara. You seem to have everything under control.
