Drive safely Sheree, Merry Christmas to you all.
sheree - merry xmas!!! I wish you and Lachlan (and bub) a wonderful holiday, hope lachlan enjoys himself lots and lots, fingers crossed the m/s isn't too severe for you.
tania - lol at Jayden wit his pillow on his legs! Yep i was spoilt with the sleep in, gosh you had every right to be fuming at Chris, sometimes they dont think! Oh my goodness that is alot of xmas lights! Hope it doesn't take too long to find the problem globe
kim - woohoo on the day off, hope you are enjoying it, sounds like you are very motivated, i have heaps of sorting and throwing out and selling to do, our house is so unorganised atm. What date do you leave, i can't remember
shaz - hope you slept well last night
Looks like my Uncle will be out of intensive care this week, i am so relieved for them.
I bought my kris Kringle pressie for my Great Aunt today, got her a cute frog wind chime, now we just havew to get a KK for my 16 year old male cousin and we are done xmas shopping, Jay reckons an itunes card will be a good pressie for him. I have only bought 4 presents this year, 2 KKs and 2 for Archie, depending on how money goes i might get a couple more small pressies for Arch just so he has a few things to unwrap. I am really glad i didn't get sucked into the consumerist cr@p this year!
Morning girls,
Just poppin in for a quick hi. We about to go into town to get BOTH the girls needles done today. Briley is 18 months today!! Ureal how time goes. Colby is getting her 4 month needles. Lucky Brent is home with me today.
Sheree - Have a Merry Christmas hun. Drive safe.
Had a terrible nights sleep lastnight. Briley and Colby both woke up heaps. Thats the first night since we've been home that Colby has woken up like that. I think her gums might be aching. Teeth already????
Briley has been pulling on her ears the last few days so i am going to have the Dr check her ears today.
Not much else to report. Hope you are all well...
Take Care!
HELLO ALL
just popping in while on my lunch break to say hi.
Not much to report. Dad is feeling a bit better. The results of his heart test came back and things are looking up there. Now he just has to wait to see his oncologist to see if the cancer treatment can resume.
Life is hard eh.
Poo Tania, I did that too...though noone was here to see me. lol I just left mine like they were...Darcy doesn't know the diffrence.
Good to hear Leanne. I'm coming home tomorrow. Let me know if you are free.
Good luck Sara today. Hope they go well. She might be just going through a wonder week. Teething has the same 'symptoms' of lots of other things. I was always wary when people suggested Darcy was...then when she got 11 in a fortnight there were no so called symptoms.
I have a clean house!!! :D
Kim- if you are up this way and on a cleaning frenzy i'll leave the front door open while I am at work for you!!!!! Would love to catch up soon, let me know when you have some free time.
Will do!
I also did a bit of chrissie shopping, had a snooze, a long shower by myself and did my hair....
quick hi from me girls...
As you can imagine... first week back home is a bit exhausting!
Trying to get the hang of this breastfeeding/expressing thing
Shelli is doing great. She is such a placid, angelic child (compared to shaun).
I have had 4 home visits from maternal nurses. 1st visit Shelli gained weight (but she had just had a huge feed), the next two visits she lost weight, then todays visit she gained 60grams - which is good because (1) she hadn't been recently fed and (2) average is 20grams a day - and that was 60 grams in one day. So hopefully she's on the right track and getting enough booby milk.
I've finally loaded up some photos of Shelli.
they are in my BB photo gallery - or the photo link in my signature...
Damn.... I'm so tired. I'm going to bed.
I really have to catch up on all the past threads from you guys... see what you've all been up to.
I've had no time. I feel like Shelli or the pump is permanantly attached to my boob... and I've had a heap of orders from my website, and Yariv & I went shopping and bought some gorgeous girl clothes. I can tell that Yariv is going to spoil her rotten. He had a shoe obsession with Shaun (shaun has more shoes then I do!!!!). And Yariv went nuts buying Shelli clothes.
Everything is good. I'm in no pain. Although I'm not getting loads of sleep - I'm feeling great. MIL has been a tremendous help. She is so adorable. She cooks for 80% of her waking hours. God love her. Hopefully Yariv will put on some weight over the next month!
I'm off to bed. MWA to you all. Sorry I can't do personals. Hope you are all well.
Jodie- she is just gorgeous!!! Makes me clucky !! I wish you were up here so I could have a cuddle she is divine!!
Kim: I'm thinking I might not worry either, although I will have Chris's niece's saying something I'm sure haha.....I just don't have time though! Well done on your cleaning frenzy & Chrissie shopping! I have very little motivation ATM to do anything...I have to snap out of it though, there is too many things to do.
Sara: I hope the girls were ok with their needles, lucky you had Brent there...what a nightmare if you had to do it on your own!
Jodie: Those photos are fantastic! Shelli is gorgeous! I can't wait to have a little girl to buy heaps of clothes for!
We are getting our theatre chairs today! I can't wait we will actually be able to sit on something when we watch a movie! We have one of the old lounges in there ATM but its only a 2 seater and not very comfortable when there is 2 (or 3) on there.
Jodie ~ she is so cute please don't make me clucky girls my husband couldn't go through this again lol
leanne - glad things are going as well as they can be with your Dad.
jodie - oh my goodness, Shelli is just devine! How do you make such gorgeous little babies? you are a very lucky mummy.
tania - oh wow theatre chairs...in our dreams!!! Jay is gonna be SO jealous when i tell him!
shazz - i can't believe you are still clucky LOL!
Archie and i had our first visit to the pool today, they have a babies pool, and kids pool and a normal pool. Archie wasn't all that keen on the babies pool, but loved swimming in the bigger pools with me, i dont think its gonna take him long at all to get his confidence up in the water....he ust has to learn not to breath in when his face is in the water!
Arch has been getting this really itchy rash on his bottom cheeks when its a warm day, and i have tried all different nappies and it doesn't make a difference, so i thought i'd just go nappy free and introduce the potty again. He did a poo on the carpet and i quickly put him on the potty and he finished it and happily sat there for a while! I was VERY surprised, after that he came into the kitchen poitning to his willy saying "wees wees" and showing me the carpet, then sat on the potty, i can't believe he actually gets it!
It is bloody windy and hot here today and the house is fast heating up,
Well the theatre chairs are not coming until NEXT Thursday now as they only come to Bundy once a week and the forgot to put it on the truck! Chris was furious! I'm a bit dissapointed but we have lived without them for all this time, 1 more week won't hurt.
That is great Archie loves the water! We are taking Jayden on the weekend for a swim, he loves it and throws a tantrum when I say its time to get out. SIL has a plastic slide (not really meant for the water) on the side of their pool, Jayden loves going down it into the water....while i hold him of course! The rash will probably just be a heat rash, nappy free time will be the best cure i think....esp if he know how to tell you he needs the potty, Jayden has no idea!
Leanne: Great to hear things are going ok for your dad. My mum had her check up today and she is having an op next week......not sure of any details at this stage until she calls me tonight.
WOW where is everyone? So quiet!
The Xmas parade was fantastic! Jayden loved every minute of it....except before the actual parade when he had a tantrum in Target and refused to eat when we had dinner......But as soon as he saw te fire engines, steam train (on the back of a truck), dogs etc he was wrapped! He was waving and blowing kisses to nearly all of them and pointing at the wheels going oooo, ahhh. Last year he was a bit scared of the noise of the sirens etc and didn't enjoy it at all.
Anyway off to bed
oxoxoxo
tania - bummer about the theatre chairs, how disappointing, i bet you had a movie weekend planned and everything! yeah i put it down to heat rash too, Archie knows what the potty is for but ir eally think he is too young to really be ready yet, im gonna save toilet training for next Summer, i think 2.5 will be a good age to do it quicker and easier. Sounds like Jayden is a real water baby. glad Jayden enjoyed the parade this year, Arch loved ours too, especially the pipe bands.
Wow it was stifling here last night, got to the stage where it was an effort to breath the hot air, not a very restful night thats for sure, much cooler today thank goodness. We went to the beach last night for tea, Archie had an absolute ball running up and down the beach and paddling in the water. Just got back from the last Playgroup for the year, what a fantastic time we had, Santa came and handed out presents for all the kids, the committee had made decorations for the xmas tree with the kids name on them and heaps of other great stuff. Archie loved Santa last year but i thought he'd freak out this year....nope, he ran up to Santa and stood there the whole time waving and chatting to him, wanted to give him a kiss but Santa wasn't keen. He is seeing Santa again on Sunday at Jay's work doo so we will have to take the camera this time.
Jodie, she's lovely!!
Buggar about the chairs Tania!
That's cool that Arch loves Santa Elissa (I'm typing in the dark excuse the typos).
Well we drove yesterday. Got here in great time. Ir's a six hour drive and we managed it in 2 three hour stints. Darcyy slept for iver 2 hours the first run, and an hour the second. She was up so late with that she's now been asleep 2 hours again roday. But she was such a good girl. No whinging at all - except when we were eaving Maccas and she wanted to play with the kids lol.
Santa tried to get some pressie today with no luck, bu will try again tomorrow.
We have my nephew christmas pageant tomorrow - my sister can't go so I'm the camera man. She has no idea obviously how challenged I am...
guess I'd better make time for the ils :(
you must be stoked to finally be there Kim when do you get to see Cam ?
uummm 10th of February......not going to see him before then - it's too hard and too expensive
Glad you got back safely Kim.
I have a had a really cr@ppy day that started with a headache then anonymous hate mail to the principal about me, a really bad haircut which DH grimaces at and shudders when he looks at me and to top it off a fight with DH about Jess working until 10pm after which he informed me he was just going to sit back and enjoy the show and would laugh at me when she ends up dead in a ditch which is only a matter of time apparently- and he would also take great delight in saying he told me so once she is dead. I am so tired and sad, I just wish I could run away for ever.
oh sweetheart  :grouphug:
thanks Kim, I need a hug tonight.
 for you Christine! Run away up here, i have room for you and any kids you want to bring with you.
That is awful what DH said!
OMG Christine i want to run too :grouphug: that is a horrible thing to say
Oh bugger Kim hoping that time will go quickly for you both
Christine, just checking on you. How are you going today?
Shazz, actually I'm enjoying it. There's no-one besides Darcy that I have to entertain, no extra mess and no fights.....
Just blah today Kim, although Jess sent me a beautiful text saying that even though she didn't act like it she loves me more than anything and that I am her rock (aah its worth it in the end isn't it) DH is still being a pig, he goes through phases like this and I am just too fragile to cope well this time, sorry to unload onto you guys but I appreciate the love and support soooooo much. xxxx
unload all you want to christine we will always be here
you some time i wish my DH would just go away ( to work ) he goes on conferences for sometimes up to a week he trys to make me feel like i can't do this on my own but i have news for him i am such a calmer mum and person full stop when he is not here and there is no fights either even with the 13 yr DD
oh good, so it's not just me imagining a nicer place....
good girl Jess.
Sometimes I wish we could all run away and have a DH free week! much as mostly I love him I do like a break especially when he is being so foul, I told him maybe we need to get an exorcist in!!
christine - hugs to you, sounds like your DH is being a right ***** atm. i am trying to imagine what on earth type of haircut you could possibly have that would make you look that bad???!!
kim - great to hear you are back and that the trip went so well, have heaps of fun!
We just got home from Jay's work doo, Archie and i had a swim then we had lunch then santa came and gave out pressies and lollies. Why do some santas insist on yelling at the kids instead of just talking? No wonder some kids get freaked out. Jay got Archie with santa on camera, will have to try and get a photo done with santa this year too.
Guess who's starting to feel clucky again??.......gosh i just want to slap myself sometimes! Seems the better i feel with PND and anxiety, the cluckier i get, will leave it for 3 months then see how i feel..can't believe i am entertaining the thougth AGAIN.
Christine ~ DH and i were talking to day i'm am pushing for him to chase the big mining $ $$ atm working 2 weeks on one off i could handle spending $100 000. 00 a year and only having to put up with him for a week at a time lol
we put up christmas lights out side today Mwahhhhh we have already blown 2 tranformers Mwahhhhh stupid things so now we have to pull them down and return them gosh darn it
Kim: OMG that is ages until you see Cam! Although I used to find it easier too looking after Jayden when Chris was on night shift…not the same I know but sometimes I know its easier when they just aren’t there.
Christine: How are you feeling? What a beautiful msg Jess sent you! You know we are always here for you
Shazz: I know a few families where everything runs smoothly when the husband isn’t there…..They must be the cause of tension and conflict haha. The mines sound a great idea! I wonder if I could convince Chris??
Elissa: Sounds like you had a great day…..Archie too! Smart move thinking about another baby for 3mths before just jumping in there (so to speak ). It would be nice but you have to know it’s the right decision.
I feel terrible, as I have been keeping a secret from everyone for the past 4 weeks now and I can’t keep it any longer!! On the 12th Nov I came home for lunch and did a HPT…….Very slim chance that it could be positive but there was a chance (only DTD once in the entire month!) Anyway you all know where this is going……:bfp: I was in shock completey! I'm now 8wks and due 20/07/08. It has already been very different to my last pregnancy, m/s started just on 5wks but not bad at all, it has slowly gotten worse but still just nausea all day at this stage and i am not near as emotional as i was with Jayden.
Sara: I feel really terrible to you esp as you asked if we were TTC soon and I lied! I wanted to say no cause I already am but I didn't want to tell anyone for another week or 2. None of our family know as yet, planning of making Jayden a tshirt for our xmas eve party and letting everyone discover that way.
It has been hard with mine and Chris's xmas parties as everyone knows I like to have a few drinks so I have been using Jayden as the excuse that i have to pick him up so I won't drink......I think my work was confused as it was my xmas party Chris could have not drunk. Anyway thats my exciting news! I better get ready for work now haha
:happyforyou:Omg woooohooooo how exciting Tania congratulations hun:happyforyou:
:happyforyou:
shazz - ooo yeah, id like to spend $100,000 too! Two of my cousins are doing it atm, unfortunately Jay and I would miss each other WAY too much, the only way we could do it is if Arch and i move up there too, and i can't see that happening. Bummer about the chrissie lights
tania - you are absolutely right, and guess what, the cluckiness only lasted 48 hours! As son as Archie woke me up at 5am this morning i thought "there is no way i want another baby!" LOL. i knew you were pg, in the last few posts i just picked up on little things and thought, i bet she is pregnant again! Well done, thats fantastic news, i am thrilled for you, glad the pregnancy is seeming better than jayden's. when we got pg we had only DTD once in the whole month too!
cluckiness has disappeared again already LOL, didn't take long did it?! i have a shocking neck pain/headache, its cause i haven't been walking regularly my neck always stuffs up when i get lazy.
Dont know what to do with this dog, she gets excited and wags her tail when we are with her but she still wont let anyone touch her or pick her up, once you manage to get her she will happily cuddle or sit there and be groomed, but she is just really stand offish, i am hoping she gets better with time.
TANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:happyforyou: :happyforyou: :happyforyou:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't be sorry hun! That is awesome news! I am soooo happy for you.....
Thanks Shazz, Elissa & Sara! I am so excited....between waves of nausea of course haha part and parcel of all so I say bring it on! (but not for too long haha).
Elissa: Lucky you waited! I must admit I thought this morning when Jayden was crying at 5am I was thinking how am I going to handle 2! But I guess you just do when you're in the situation.....hopefully by the time this baby is born Jayden will be out of crying out at 4.30/5am for a bottle! I read over my posts and yep I can see how you would have had a good idea! I think sub-concisously (sp?) I was trying to tell everyone but without so many words.
Sara: I still feel bad, I hate lying! My boss asked me a couple of weeks ago if I was PG because I said I wasn't drinking at the xmas party....I couldn't lie to him but I was just a smartar$e about it and said "Yeah with triplets"
One of my friends guessed last night because I was telling her how I'd gone shopping but when I got home I realised I left a bag behind at the register....I thought once wasn't too bad but it was the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I had done it....Straight away she said "You're not PG are you?" Again couldn't lie.
Time to go back to work again....guess I'm lucky that I can come home every lunch time. Oh my boss got fired last week too so I can check posts at work hehe.....I shouldn't though as I am in charge of our dept now until the replacement comes in about a month!
OMG!!! CONGRATULATIONS TANIA!!!
evening all i got my SS pressie today i am stoked who ever got me did a fab job lol i got a pink tool belt wohooo i have always wanted one just couldn't justify buying one
