:dance:Happy Birthday Riley.
I am feeling a bit low today cause I did not get into the course I wanted to do. Apparently as I am not working in the child care field already I "don't qualify". Der, how am I supposed to get into the field without it?
Anyway, I have been offered the statement of attainment course which is only 5 subjects, but should be able to work my way up from there. I expect to have that finished by the end of the year and hopefully start the business this time next year, so maybe I will get into my course next year?
I really want to have a degree in children's services and perhaps a degree in business management too. I now it's only Family Day care but am I being a little anal about qualifications? Who knows I might even run my own CC centre one day.
Then there's this damn flu. It's just not going. Been 5 days and my head is still pounding. I have no sick days left, nearly no annual leave left, so off to work I trotted today. grr. Katy has been off her food for a couple of days at daycare, and will only really eat ice cream, yoghurt or juice, so I am thinking she is still feeling pretty yucky too. She usually has two of everything at daycare. Sometimes thirds!
I have been busy organising the Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, which is on Thursday at work. So far we have raised nearly $200 so I am pretty happy about that. You would all laugh at me the way I have been trotting around the office with a red stuffed up nose and my 0055 sexy voice.
I would love to have enough money so that I could dedicate more time to cancer research fundraising. Maybe one day when I win lotto...............
Sorry .... rambling. I had a little bit of Rum in my cuppa this evening to try and sweat out this flu tonight.
Nite
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Been up since 3am with gastro
violently ill at all possible ends.
What the hell is going on?
Thank goodness for CC. I barely touched Katy this morning in the hope that if I am away from her today she won't get it.
Last thing I want is for missy to get sick too.
Left her crying. and had to stop at the servo on the way home to ......... well you know.
I wanna cry.
sara - hope you hasd a good nights sleep
leanne - sorry you didn't get into your course, how disappointing for you. The new plan you have sounds good, i am sure you will get into the course next year. Hope that flu clears up soon and Katy feels better too. oh not gastro too! Goodluck to whoever used the servo toilet after you LOL! Big hugs, i would def be crying by now too.
I feel a bit like death warmed up this arvo, just got back from groceries and feeling quite yuck, prob gastro again knowing my luck recently, maybe i got it from you leanne, stop breathing on your computer.
I laughed after reading your post Elissa. yes, the servo loo probably would not be the best place to be after me.
Hope you feel better soon too.
Oh leanne, so sorry to hear about your course, but glad you have a plan B. FAR OUT hope you feel a tad better tonight though.
Happy Birthday Master Lachlan!!
for tomorrow......:D
Did my pistol shoot today....my arms feel like they're going to fall off, my hands anre scratched and bruised and the muscles in my fingers are so sore it hurts to type (holding a pen is out of the question)...i must love this job. Tomorrow is weaponless control so I may not be able to type at all tomorrow.
happy birthday Lachie for tomorrow too i won't be able to get in tomorrow
:cheer::loveshower::happybirthday: HAPPY BIG 2nd BIRTHDAY RILEY FOR YESTERDAY :happybirthday::loveshower::cheer:
i posted last night, but lost it
leanne - glad i could give you a laugh, hope you are on the mend
kim - hope you are still in one piece after your weaponless control training.
Our darn heater isn't working AGAIN, had it serviced a couple of weeks ago and now its playing up again, so i am freezing! Going to a diner party tonight, hopefully my sister will come and look after Archie so we can have an adult night
Happy Birthday Lachlan.
Hope you had a great day today.
Hi ladies. Just thought I would say hi. I have a little girl India who will be 2 on the 28th. Thought I better join this forum. I have a 9 week old baby girl named Seraya too. I have been on here talking with March 08 mums and forgot all about my first little princess!! Hope I can get to know you all.
India is in the process of potty training. She can do wees no probs but getting her to tell me before she does a poop is still a work in progress :) She talks very well and can count to 10 and say the alphabet and knows about 8 colours. SO we are very proud of her. Happy birthday to all the toddlers turning 2 in May!!
GTG DD2 is awake!
:D
Happy Birthday for yesterday Lachlan!!
Hope he had a great day Sheree, how is the unpacking going?? I always envy those rich people who get packers and unpackers in and jus walk into a completely organised house! (DH used to be a Hire a Hubby and he once had to put up pictures in a house for an unpacking comp. so even that sort of stuff is done) I am not looking forward to moving again.
Leanne- gosh you have had such a bad time with illness! prob better a service station loo than one at work LOL I hope you are feeling much better and your morning tea raised heaps of money. I am going to one on saturday morning. Also bummer baout the course but your new plan sounds good.
Kim- lovely to hear from you, woohoo on the new stuff. I agree with the others about blighted ovums, you never see a heartbeat cause a baby actually never forms.
Sara- how did Brent go with the interview? How are you guys going? I can't believe how big Colby is now, it only seems like weeks ago she was born!
Elissa- hope Jay gets the job, is it in Adelaide though? Yuk about Archie not sleeping well, Riley has been waking up every night at about 2 or 3am, i think it may be cold so I might get a heater in his room.
Nat- how is uni going? any more pracs coming up? We just had 2 first year students at school. they made me feel old they were 18!!! Let me know if you need any help with assignments.
Shazz- you sound like you are doing fabulously with the study, good on you.
Better get off to school now, I just wantd to actually acknowledge everyone for a change LOL
Sorry to everyone I missed i used quick reply and its only showing me the last page!
Oh and welcome Reenie!
howdy all
just checking in i'm supposed to be doing amodule on gradients aren't they just fun NOT
hi to everyone and welcome Reenie !
Thanks for the birthday wishes girls. Lachlan had a gr8 2nd Birthday and was spoilt rotten. We had a little party for him based on Thomas the tank engine (his all time fave!!!).
Sorry I have not been around and sorry for the lack of personals. Wade's parents have been here all week helping us finish off the moving process ie: put up blinds and odd jobs around the house. We are about 90% complete now, and after this weekend, hopefully it will all be over. Gosh Christine, wouldn't it be nice just to pay someone to do it all. I guess for me I am nesting and just want everything to have a home this time round, last time we moved it was so so rushed, so it is nice to have a home for things and not have the same thing in 30 different places IYKWIM. I do not envy this removalist guys that do this for a living - WHAT A JOB!!
I am soooo.... nesting atm it is ridiculous. I really haven't stopped all pregnancy, so it is time to slow down in the next week and put my feet up, no wonder i have hardly put on any weight this time round, it is gr8.
Lachlan woke 8 times last night, so Wade and I are buggered today. He didn't have any temps, but today is sniffely and snotty and all week has been a right little terror with his feeding. I was getting so frustrated but then today it was obvious he was getting sick!!! Gave a dose of panadol and nurofen before bed 2nite, just need some rest ourselves. I haven't been sleeping well at the best of times lately, so more then ever need my rest atm.
5 more weeks until my caesar.... Omg!!! How time flies, 2nd pregnancy. Just can't beleive it really.
We had a small party for Lachlan yesterday and invited all the 2 year old kids we know around our area and they had a gr8 time. But people can't read invitiations, we specifically asked for no pressies, so what did they do..... Hopefully now I will be home more often with our newborn, we can have more mothers group type sessions. It will be nice. Esp seeing as we are purchasing a $700 expresso machine. Won't that be fab! We have an insurance credit at our Electrical store for $2000 and nothing we really need, so thought that would be nice.
Off to Mackay on Monday for a gyno appt and will be back on Monday, and finishing our move this weekend, so chat to you all at the end of the week when i get back from Mackay.
Hope you are all well.
Ohhh and welcome Reenie, look 4ward to getting to know you and your precious girls.
Ohhh and Kim just going back on a few posts, but on the note of nappy bags, I even forgot a nappy today and I left at 9am and didn't come home till 4pm and lachlan did a poo at about 2pm!!! Ooopsss.... better get my act into gear with another little one, how slack am I!!!!
Should be getting an early night incase Lachlan wakes but ohhh well!!!!
Here is my 34ish week belly picture.
https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...php?photo=7163
Nice belly Sheree - gee you look god. 3 weeks OMG it has gone fast!
Reenie! Hi mate :D I'm Kim, mum to Darcy Dragon. Welcome.
Got my new fridge yesterday! Even when I put everything out of the old one it - it's still mostly empty! lol. Cam got his telly too....I can't tell the difference (except the size of course - makes no difference to the 'experience').
I have some more dumb miscarriage questions that I trust you guys, rather than the general forums.
How long will me HCG take to drop? I can't O until they do.
I've still (three weeks later) got cramps every now and then. THey aren't bad but enough for me to notice. Should I be worried? Or is it just that it will take longer for my uterus to go back to shape.
It is actually 5 weeks Kim, gosh I hope it aint 3 weeks, everyone says I have dropped, but I really don't want him to come too early.
Now as for your questions. I really didn't have a problem both times, so maybe you should go and see the doc. Hcg levels I would have expected to come back to normal by now, how do you know they haven't???
Hi again! Thanks for the welcomes!!
ShereejoyCongrats on the new addition when he arrives!! I just had DD2 9 weeks ago via c section. India was born vaginally so it was a different experience for me, painful as well. But bringing these little tykes into the world is nothing but painful LOL. If you want any pointers on caring for a toddler and newborn at the same time, ask away! I tell ya, after having a cesar and then trying to come home and deal with a 21 month old and a newborn whilst trying to recover from major surgery is a task worthy of a medal. But it can be done. I am sure you will have help and support. My mum came up to help me but DH and her ended up having a huge fight and he tried to kick her out. It turned to be one of the most stressful weeks of my life!! But anyhoo it is all water under the bridge now. Well mud under the bridge, since they still hate each other. :S But having a toddler and a newborn can seem so hard and impossible at times, but it does get easier!! And it is so nice to see them bonding with each other as they get older. I am enjoying it. Until they start fighting over clothes and boyfriends! :p
Kim I had a miscarriage before I had Seraya, lost it at 9 weeks with no fetal heart beat. I had a D&C and wanted to concieve again straight away. I was getting all prepared to buy the basal thermometer and get my HCG levels tested but I had my period about a week after the D&C and concieved straight away. So in that area I really have no idea. But it is nice to know that it is possible! Basically I don't know anything about HCG levels but usually you need to get your period before you O as I understand it. You can get Maybe Baby which reads a saliva specimen to tell you when you are O from the fern like pattern it leaves on the little microscope that comes with it. It retails for like $70 from any pharmacy.
I see that some of you are doing uni? I am hopefully starting my BA in July. Will switch degrees in 12 months when I have decided what I want to do!! I will be going to the University of QLD. So can't wait. Will be nice to get out of the house and do something with myself. DH and I are having marital probs atm. Probs that have been happening for a looong time. Basically he works 7 days a week and spends about 7 hours a week with us. It is getting beyond a joke and he is convinced that we need all this money on hand in case something bad happens. Its a disease that he can't seem to realise he has. I am tossing up leaving him because we fight all the time and he gets very nasty to me. It isn't the environment I want to raise my children in. I feel like a single mum and its driving me spare. Not to mention he has access to all the bank accounts and pays me a wage. I don't have access to any of it except what he pays me. Sorry to introduce to me as a whiny potential single mum, but sometimes I just don't know what to do. He isn't willing to change and I am pretty much damned if I do damned if I don't.
Any advice would be appreciated. :)
Sorry to end on a low note. Hope you are all super!
Kim when i lost a baby at 9 weeks I had AF a month or so after the bleeding finished from that then was pg with Erin the month after that. I didn't have a D&C cause in NT at that time they said I didn't need one unless the bleeding went on for more than 2 weeks which it didn't.
I have heard that you can get pg quickly after a m/c. I didn't really have cramps much after the initial loss.
More later girls just wanted to answer Kim.
Kim ! my sister also fell pg the first month after a MC with a d&C
i would have expected that your HCG leverl would be back to normal too ( sorry i know this is really insenstive but i can't remember whether you had aD&c or not ) if you had a D&C iwould probably go and get checked out  let us know how you go ok
Reenie it is not nice to live in these situations and seriously hard to make the descison to move on i want to wish you well with what ever you decide to do just know that there is help out there for you to access if you need it
ok back to the books sorry for any spelling mistakes i am very time poor atm everything is done at warp speed
just lost my darn post!
SO basically....
reenie - hello, welcome, look forward to getting to know you. I am sorry you are having man troubles ATM, you are more than welcome to whinge in here, i have done more than my fair share of whinging in here over the past 12 months!
sheree - Great to hear Lachlan enjoyed his party, and that the moving is nearly complete. Only 5 weeks to go, wow! You look fantastic
JAY GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe it! After applying for this job for 7 years and getting knock back after knock back he finally got in. We worked out that he would have applied about 15 times over the years and we would have spent around the $10000 dollar mark on travelling to Adelaide for interviews, turned out to be a good investment though thank goodness. We both cried when he got the good news and several of our friends and family cried as well, everyone is so happy its great. This means that we will be moving to Naracoorte, which is 1 hours drive from here, not too far away from everyone. Our house will be put on the market on Monday, a friend of ours is an agent so we will get a good deal there. I pity the poor person who buys this place though, heater is stuffed, water softener is stuffed, roof leaks, ***** neighbourhood, kitchen drain is blocked. We cannot afford to fix any of it on the money Jay is currently on, so will be selling as is (Ihope!). Properties for rent or sale are very scarce where we are going thoguh, so am a bit worried about how we will go finding somewhere to live, but im sure it will all work out in the finish. Tomorrow will be spent cleaning like a madwoman so we can get an appraisal Monday arvo.
Sorry for the me post, i just couldn't help myself, this is such a huge thing for us.
That is such fantastic news Elissa, how very pleased you must be and rightly so.... It has all paid off finally. Now to move!!! Have fun!!! I am so pleased for you all.
Reenie - Like Elissa said we all have our moments in here, so vent away. Hope things improve for you.
Woo hoo Elissa thats great news, hope you get a good price for the house.
:happybirthday: HAPPY BELATED 2nd BIRTHDAY LACHLAN for the 22nd May :happybirthday:
... Great to hear you had a fantastic Thomas the Tank party ... whoo hoo
... I lost my post yesterday, augh so annoying !! It was a biggie too ... & seeing it's late at present I will post some of it another time
Hi ya RENNIE, a huge & friendly Welcome to YOU ...
My name is Lorelle & my 1st born is my daughter Cendrine who turned "2" on the 6th of May (I had her at the ripe young age of 40, & DP Adam was lucky enough to be 30, LOL. We live in a large country town & I jokingly keep telling him guy's here have 3 kids by the time they are 30, Ha!! )
... Actually RENNIE, the post that went missing was mostly for you BUT I will post another time okay, ... I pop in once in a blue moon to check on all the sweet May 2006 Bubs & their lovely Mummies ;)
ELISSA, what brilliant news with JAY getting the job after such a long journey ... He must be so damn relieved too !! ... How exciting in that the house is on the market (I'm secretly hoping we will too next year, house has just become too darn small )
Adam is away for the w/end with the boys from work ... A big golf w/end ... Oh, he so deserves it. I'm so wrapt for him, as I did have my 4nites in Sydney at the Novotel last Dec (that was such a blast, big king-size bed all to myself) ... Going back later this year on my own again (I catch up with a girlfriend & her family there too .. met her overseas years ago she is such fun to be around ... I guess I am too ;)).
SHEREE - Your belly looks awesome (oh, makes me miss being pregnant, yep drove everyone nuts about how I loved it ...hope a miracle can happen again for me BUT I'm so beautifully lucky to have my sweet & funny little Cendrine) ... Keep them photo's coming SHEREE if you have time !!!!!!!!!!
Have a SUPER SUNDAY all ... catch ya later xox
thanks guys so much, i am pretty confident that our house will sell fairly quickly as it will be very cheap, we are gonna have a hard time finding a new place though, that has got us worried.
Lorelle - When are planning on selling? There is a fair chance that we will have to rent a 2 bed unit when we move as there is just nothing available so that will be nice and cramped for us, im sure we will manage though. Hope Adam is enjoying his weekend.
Hi Girls, sorry I have been MIA lately...hopefully things will settle down now that we are home and Jayden's party is out the way!
Welcome Reenie! Looking forward to getting to know you and your girls, I think nearly all of us have had our share of man troubles, like you I feel like a single mum most of the time as I do all the parenting.
Sheree: Sorry I missed you again on MSN, Chris took over and he wouldn't let me back on until it was too late. Can't believe baby Riley will be born in 5 wks!
Sorry Kim I can't help you, but I hope the cramps go and you O soon!
Elissa: Congrats to Jay!!! I hope you get a good price for the house!
We have had a crazy week! We got home from Melb 1.30am Tues morn, I had Tues off work knowing we'd be home late. Went to work with a horrible cold on Wed but kept getting told to go home....didn't but ended up taking Thurs off, made Jayden's bday invites and slept a bit before having to pick him up from FDC, went to work Fri even though I shouldn't have but luckily started feeling better Sat....Had all the shopping to do for Jayden's party was out from 10am until 6.30pm. I wanted Jayden's party next weekend so I had time to organise it properly and make a cake etc but Chris wanted it this weekend as its closer to his bday....its ok for him all he had to do was cook the meat. Anyway it turned out really good but I am so exhausted now. Jayden had his 1st piece of chocolate cake and although he loved it, he didn't eat all of the tiny piece he had...which is good, more for me! He didn't sleep all day but fell asleep just after 6pm when most of the ppl had gone...fingers crossed he sleeps though, he woke up briefly at 8.30pm for a nappy change, bottle and a story. Anyway I should be in bed now!
I have a checkup tomorrow... all will be fine I'm sure, this baby does not stop moving! :crying: My baby is 2yrs old tomorrow!! I can't believe how quick its gone!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDEN!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY - JAYDEN
Happy birthday Jayden:dance:
Well off to Mackay soon for my 35 week check up with Gyno in Mackay. I will be travelling home on Wednesday. I dread to think how many times I am going to be in and out of Mackay now!!!!
Hey everyone.
Happy Birthday Jayden.
Will do personals when not at work, but question for those of you with your children in FDC. Tell me to butt out if you like, but what are the charges and and what sort of things to your carers do with your children?
I am already planning how I am going to convert our double garage (dad's helping me building an internal wall, lining it, putting flooring down, putting a sink etc in.... etc etc).... so want a rough idea of costs etc.
:happybirthday: HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN JAYDEN :happybirthday:
... Great to hear he had a fantastic party  ... Tania, did you go with a theme or certain colours ? I know not for everyone. I know how you felt with the shopping for so long in one day for the party goodies. I went a little crazy buying everything 'Bob the Builder' for Cendrine's 2nd b'day party on the 3rd May.
Chris sounds like my Adam, yep he only had to fire up the bbq & cook the meat ;) ... Bubba sounds busy in there tumbling & having fun around :baby: All the best with your appt, YEH sure all is doing well with bubba & you !!
SHERRIE, you must be busy with those weekly bub appt's now. As I had HBP & they had concerns I had to go every week for a few months. Felt like I lived there BUT I loved my midwives Kerry (who delivered Cendrine) & Jan (who missed out on the fast delivery as she was at the supermarket & couldn't get to the hosp in time).
ELISSA, we figured out our house looks more presentable when the roses are out. Otherwise the front yard looks pretty boring. So fingers crossed maybe next March ?? But Adam informed me recently 'not to get my hopes up' as we are not sure if we can afford it as we would only be selling if we found a bigger house (which obviously means more expensive). Our house is lovely BUT yeh, just small for all '3' of us now. We purchased the house not knowing if we could have a bub & thought it would be ok up to toddler years if we DID have a baby, which we were right it has served it's purpose.
Our dream is to have no close neighbours & live on 1/2 to 1 acre. Oh, that would be so damn lovely ;)
HEY GIRL'S, I had a very vivid ' dream ' Sunday morn whilst Adam was away (he had a super time), I was heavily pregnant & my contractions started at home. Cendrine was in the house & so was someone else, I think a girlfriend whom I was saying to "But we don't have a boy's name picked out". In the dream I got the impression I had NOT known I was pregnant for long, like we found out quite late (I think Adam was a work in the dream & on his way home). That's why I was worried I had NO boy's name because we didn't have time to find one. How funny is that  I'd be interested to hear what you think, ... even if you have a funny take on it ::think: (my sense of humor is my best friend some days espesh with an offical toddler these days LOL) !!!!!
... HAVE A SUPER WEEK AHEAD ALL !!!!!!!!!
... LEANNE, I'm home full-time with the little lady Cendrine (luckily for us Adam is on an above average income for us to afford for me to do so) :)
... Besides my work profession is in Melb & if I went back to work there it would mean I would be getting home about 9.30 or later at night, I would only see my daughter on weekends & that would not only be nuts but painfully heartbreaking.
Adam works in Melb. He is the same with his kind of work. Also gets a ton better salary in Melb compared to here in Ballarat.
I worked for 20years, I've paid my taxes ;) But I have gotta say, I DO miss work (for all sorts of reasons) & ALL that goes with it. I'm a strong believer that's it's incredibly healthy for a Mother to be in the workforce, even for a few hours a week. It's so important to feel independent & have something that's your own & time away from your children to be YOU. Not to mention I miss the work praise, my clients, having co-workers (the nice ones), the work challenges, & of course don't forget those pay rises (what satisifaction)
Anyway, It still has taken even until now to come anywhere near accepting this is my work-style (occupation) for now until Cendrine starts school. I just keep reminding myself that I'm doing it for her
We keep busy with her community activities during the week, & everything else that goes with being a Mum !!
... So sorry LEANNE, I turned it into a big post ... I'm sure some of the gals can help you with your question
Happy Birthday Jayden!!Hope you got some lovely pressies!
Drive safe Sheree!
How did your appointment go Tania?
Sorry Leanne, can't help you out....what do they do at Katy's cc? That's cool your dad's helping...he must be feeling a tad better these days? Hope so. You guys deserve it.
Lorelle, cool dream. I'm a believer in those things too.....have one for me will you?....before I decide which way I want to go again....now umming and ahhing about whether I can go through another 18 months TTC again. I'd love a bit of land too. We live in town ATM cos it's so much easier driving 6 minutes to work as opposed to the travel we used to have.
Reenie, babe that soundsl ike an awful situation to be in. I'm hoping and praying you and your babies are safe. Please please, don't know where you live or if you feel comfortable about it but PM me. I can honestly get you some information if you want it. The other girls can vouch for me - that is an area I know a lot about.
Gradients Shazz? Hmmm how exciting - NOT! Hope you get it done swiftly so it's over.
Okey dokey, managed to get through weapons training without getting shot (we use simulated technique with paintball guns - it's not so bad) and I didn't get belted at weaponless control so that wasn't too bad at all. The worst bit was I should have had to do it at all, cos I should have still been pregnant - but I'm not so I just sucked it up and got it done. Did it with my boss - she was more nervous than me...plus they couldn't fail me cos I couldn't hit her too hard:D
Darcy managed a huge projectile on Saturday night all over Cameron and the lounge. THankfully she'd been a bit off all arvo and both were protected by a blanket. I have never seen her vomit so much. It was going on so long I just redirected her head to spew on the floor:doh: So then came the lovely nappies overnight hmmmhmm. No more since but she's right off. I'm so hoping these aren't teething symptoms after she's never had any before. She keeps telling me her face is sore near her jaw.....
Oh, did a HPT and it's negative - which is good - means i haven't got detectable HCG and everything should go back to normal.....
Leanne- I am pretty sure that we pay $6 an hour but some goes to the governing body (Centacare) I will check, or maybe look them up online. L (Riley's FDC lady) has an outside paved area where they ride the bikes and play in the cubby/climbing thing and they play with toys inside and do puzzles etc. They don't do formal craft or anything but they do go to playgroup once a week with other FDC groups. If you ever want to talk to L she would be happy to answer any questions just PM me. I love the fact that Riley is in a house and always sleeps in a cot in a room by himself (L's DD's room she is one of Jess' friends) and he gets to interact with L's kids who are all in high school or uni.
Hope that helps.
Sorry this is going to be a quick one, I have quickly read through the posts....
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes....Jayden had a great day with his grandparents, Aunties and a couple of cousins, they went to a play centre and Jayden went nuts for a couple of hours and slept for 4hrs (a record for him lately, esp since he is in bed asleep now too).
Leanne: I think we are paying about $4.95 per hour that may have gone up though I'm not sure....I just pay it haha. Thats good that you want to be organised! They have a swing set and sand pit (and other play things) outside, then a playroom at my SIL's (the other carers house is smaller so she has car sets a shop etc i the lounge). They do drawing, painting, playdough, tomorrow SIL is taking the day care kids to a play centre and they go to play group at the FDC centre on Thursdays....they do lots of things.
Sheree: GL with your appt!
Lorelle: Jayden's party was organised from start to finish in just a few days, I wanted a Cars cake but ended up with a Woolies cake (made by my nephew though) and I bought Lightning McQueen and The King cars to go on top, it was a Cars theme really...I got party hats, tablecloth, serviettes etc all with Cars on it and most of his presents had something to do with Cars.
Kim: Well done getting through Weapons Training....sounds fun, I'm sure its hard work though! Poor Darcy! Hope she is feeling better soon. Thats great about your HCG levels, hope things happen quickly for you now.
Appt went well today bubs HB is very strong, my blood pressure was lower than usual but still ok and bubs who was head down 2 weeks ago has now turned itself around and is now breech, Jayden was head down at this stage and stayed there but this baby is so much more active. MW said it has about 4 weeks to turn again after that we may have a problem...I'm sure it will turn as its very active and still small. I have told work I will be taking days off from now because I am too tired to come in, they said it was fine because it means I can work closer to when the baby is due....I only have I think 28 work days (at best) anyway so not too far away I guess.
Anyway as usual this is longer than I intended, I have to go to bed since Jayden is asleep early for a change!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYDEN!!!!!!
tania - glad you got over your cold and happy to hear that Jaydens birthday party went so well. Can hardly believe Jayden didn't eat his chocolate cake, Archie would devour the whole cake given half the chance, such a guts! Great to hear about your healthy bubba, im sure he/she will turn back around in time, Arch kept doing somersaults til about 39 weeks, but he got out okay.
sheree - hope you have a good trip to Mackay
leanne - the carer i used had 25 years experience in FDC and she charged $9.70 per day (that was with a 66% CCB). She took the kids out to another FDC ladie's house once a week for activities. She did playdoh, sand. HTH. Sounds like you have fantastic plans, wish you could be Archies carer!
lorelle - We have gorgeous roses in our backyard too but of course they aren't out atm. Hope you find a bigger house for a good prce next year. We are really looking forward to moving for similar reasons, even though we will be living in town, the place we are moving too is a country town and much quieter than here, will be lovely!
kim - Hope Darcy feels better, surely teeth couldn't do that much to her?! Great news on the HCG levels, must be a relief to know that your body is getting back to 'normal'.
Wow, what a day i've had. I spent the day cleaning, sorting, packing with a very helpful 2 year old. Only stopped for 15 mins all day and the house doesn't look any different! The house will be on the market as of Thursday, it is really cheap so we are quite confident that it will sell in time. So the rest of my week will involve more packing, cleaning and sorting, im actually enjoying it htough, it feels good at the end of the day to know that i have accomplished something, haven't felt like that since i worked.
