Merry Christmas from me too.
Leanne- hope katy left you some hershies LOL
merry christmas guys, lots of love to you and your families, hope the kids have a wonderful exciting day!
My mum and sisters are coming up to our place tomorrow arvo and staying til boxing day, i am looking forward to a very relaxed christmas.
Sorry haven't been around much....very very tired here.
10 weeks to go!!!
Merry Christmas each and every one of you and your beautiful children.
Elissa, I hope you get the Chrissie you need. You sound so much like you need it ATM
Just need to brag at the end (sorry, but I'm so so proud of her).
Last weekend we went to Mum's for 4 nights to do Christmas with our families. I forgot to take any nappies so I bought pullups, but I was a bit dubious at thier capacity, so I told Darcy not to wee at night and tell me if she needed to go.
Well, we haven't had a wee at night since!!!! She wakes me to go to the loo, and we don't even have to set the alarm or anything to get her up - she just hangs on!!! She's given up her bottles because they're for babies, and only has her dummy at night....I can't believe my big girl :D
PS I finally get a few days off and some time out so if anyone's around I will be here.
Woo hoo Darcy, what a big girl.
Riley has finally started saying "I did wee" after he wets his nappy so he is on the right track to being TT, I may try while i have all of January off.
kim - wow Darcy what a big girl! I am very jealous kim. Glad you have some time to relax. Have a wonderful christmas, your last one as a family of three!
We survived Christmas!!!. Actually it was a quiet one over here. Christmas eve at mum and dad's and then yesterday a quiet one at home, visited DH's 95yo grandmother. Ate too much. Just the usual.
Back to 'normal' today. DH is at work, Katy and I at home, washing etc... and back on the diet....Life is good.
Kim - 10 weeks to go huh? Hang in there bubba.
Hope you are all well.
L
glad you enjoyed your xmas Leanne.
Archie loved it! He got spoilt rotten by me, my Mum and all of my sisters, he is very much in love with his new train set.
I managed to shut my mouth for a couple of days to keep the peace with Jay and all was fine, however i am still steaming on the inside!! He was at work all day xmas so that was alright. Thinking I will kbe able to start applying for flats as of the 2nd of Jan, am so itching to get outta here!
I ate an unbelieavable amount of food over the last 3 days, would have put on 10 kilos easy i reckon, was yummy though. We still have 2 fridges choca block full of tasty treats, at least we dont need to cook for a couple more days!
Hope you al enjoyed the last couple opf days
hi all hope everyone had a Fab chrissy
Woohooo Darcy well done what a big girl you are
Kim enjoy your time off and rest girl
Elissa ~ hope you got a nice quiet chrissy
Leanne i'm back on that diet with you hun BB is holding a challenge again i am so signing up
Christine ~ so jealous all of Jan off ( thinking to myself maybe i should swap over to a teaching degree hmmmmmm)
has anyone heard from sheree ??
I just threw out all the chocolate in the house. I put on 2kgs over christmas and it took me 1 month to lose that much, so I need all the help I can get!!!. Have done a 45 min workout today and yest. so hopefully that helps too.
My 'darling' daughter is really pushing my buttons. At school she goes to sleep, she eats, she behaves.
Yesterday she was naughty all day and as soon as daddy came home she was perfect. DH was like, what's the issue?
She won't eat the food I prepare, she is whining the whole time like 10 hours of the day, she won't go to sleep, she won't listen to what I say, she is really really naughty. grrrr. She wants to sit in my side pocket.
Could it be she is having withdrawals from daycare and her little friends?
Or is it that she is just 2 1/2?
I am on my lonesome as DH is working right through. Am I a bad mother if I say I can't handle this and I would prefer to be at work??
Who am I kidding?
Maybe family daycare is not a good alternate career idea either.
:O(
and then here we are trying for #2 and I am thinking..... maybe I am not ready for that either....
wots wrong with me?
oh leanne you poor thing, you are not aeful for thinking that work is eaier than SAHM, it would be! I think Katy sound very much like Archie atm, maybe it has got something to do with their age. Sorry you put on weight, though i think everyone did, so dont feel too bad.
I am feeling very confused about my feelings and insanely guilty about leaving Jay, he told me I have totally broken his heart, he is still so completely in love with me, however Im not sure that I can ever feel that way about him again......I keep telling myself to just take things 1 day at a time..
Leanne- You are a perfectly normal mummy!!! Riley is going through the same sort of thing, he eats stuff all except cr@p and won't sleep either. Erin is the one who is really driving me nuts though, sorry to say more children more irritations LOL BUT you can always be happy with one of them and so you feel better LOL
I love work sometimes cause it gets me away from the kids and i work with kids!! but other peoples children are always easier LOL
Elissa- hope things settle down, are you sure you don't love him? I am becoming an old romantic in my old age!
Oh Elissa my kiddy problems seem nothing compared with what you must be going through. Here for you. If you see me online on FB, and need to talk I am here for you always.....
That goes for all of you ladies.... :)
leanne - thankyou so much x
christine - yeah i do still live him very much, thats why i care so much about hurting him. We just had another talk and sorted even more stuff out so im feeling so much better about things and about saving our marriage. Jay says he thinks he just needed a good kick up the bum for him realise what his priorities are.
Is anyone elses kids constantly black with dirt??? LOL Arch is one dirty boy, always rolling around in the dirt!
I hope so much you can work it out Elissa, maybe he just needs a shock (and to grow up a bit)
Riley is very dirty too!! Jess was always the only girl at kindy who looked like she had been dragged around the yard by the hair too LOL
Oh thank God! I thought I was the only one who wanted time away from my 2 year old!!! She is just awful ATM!!! and yep she's deen dragged around in the dirt too. Sometimes I'm horrified if I pick her up from daycare and have to take her to the shop.
Oh Elissa, babe, don't feel guilty. Feel strong and proud about doing what you need and then deal with the issues.
L, mate I would happily leave Darcy with you as a FDCer, but other people's kids are different to your own. I think Darcy misses the other kids too.
Shazz, i always wanted to be a teacher too....and look where I am.. :dunno:
Cam's had an enormous blowup with his stupid family through his brother, so he didn't get his point across and his stupid brother brought up stuff that we would never have mentioned...so now there are more issues than before.....far out. And those stupid people are angry at stuff that is totally irrelevant.....
Must be something in the water....
Oh ps, I have deleted my FB account, there were too many issues with crooks stalking cops...
christine - LOL at Jess looking like she had been dragged around the playground by the hair!
kim - thanks that is great advice, glad Arch isn't the only dirty one. Bummer about the family fued going on, hope it settles down soon.
I have deleted my FB account too, just got bored with it.
I did wonder about you with FB Kim, I love mine but its a bit of a spin out talking to kids I have taught!!
I think anyone who isn't sick of their 2 yr old is lying or deranged LOL I am also sick of a 9 yr old and sometimes a 17 yr old too LOL (and a DH actually on occasions)
