HI everyone!
Just wanted to say hi, but will come back later for personals when I am more with it!! Well, I survived work last night, but I am soo exhausted today. I left for work at 6.20pm last night and got home at 8.15 this morning!!! (12 hr shift 7pm-7.30am) Was quite busy and I only sat down to express twice for 5 minutes each time!! Was crazy!! Had an hours sleep with Angus this morning and about to go back to bed with hime now! The thing that I can't believe is that my naughty boy who gets up 10 times a night for me, got up ONCE for DH!!! Can you believe it!!! He had a bottle around 8, slept till 3, had another bottle, then got up at 7.30am. Little monkey!! Anyway, make sure you give those babies extra hugs today, was very sad as we had a baby pass last night, and another that wasn't expected to make it through the day. Not prems either, both term babies, so very very sad. Anyway, must sleep, bbl for a loooonger chat!!
-
Geezzzz women u can talk, i just got back from a birthday away trip 4 clint so im buggered and have a lot 2 unpack etc so ill bbl and do personals. Bella is starting 2 settle i got some natual medication 4 her starting with B, sorry cant remember the name, i can hardly keep my eye's open. Im giving her that so im getting a lil relief, it seems easier 2 put her 2 sleep when she's in her pram and then transfer her 2 her cot at the moment. Also just brought some bonjella so ill c how that pans out. Ok best not fall asleep on the keyboard bbl!
-
Michelle - ooooooh I'm in tears now. Poor little bubbies and their poor mummies. How on earth you would cope with that is beyond me. You must have come home and wanted to grab Angus in the biggest hug. My little princess isn't here now or else she'd be wondering why her mummy was squeezing her so tight.
Tan - yay for getting your car back. Hope you got a new fridge. Stray puddles of water with very mobile little people is definitely not a good thing.
Kristen - just from your post it sounds like your prices are ridiculously cheap. I'm still trying to talk DH into a short holiday (although rapidly giving up all hope!) so if I manage to talk him into it, and swing a trip to Melbourne I'll definitely book you. I have a bad feeling I'm going to have to promise him a whole heap of sexual favours though!!!
Kass - I usually find the Bonjella to be a godsend - seems to settle Izzy really quickly and give her a few hours of undisturbed sleep so hopefully it works for Bella.
Well, we had a slightly better night last night, although it was still really late before she went to bed but at least it was without screaming. She's constantly on the move now - I can't believe how quickly she can crawl, and she is pulling herself up on absolutely everything. She'll reach out for things like the stereo and just before she touches it turns around to look at me with this cute smile. Little minx knows she's not supposed to touch but is already testing boundaries. Definitely going to have to lock her in the cupboard under the stairs before she hits teenage years! Oh well, off to try to do some work now while DH and Iz are off visiting.
-
Aaarrrggghhh I just lost my post.........:wall:
Don't have time to rewrite so will just say a big 'hello' and hope all the bubs are behaving. It's my first day at work tomorrow so wish me luck! I'm a bit scared as its a new job so will be new people obviously and a bit of a change in direction from my previous position. Gotta go get all of Elena's things ready and then think I will have an early night.........nighty night :)
-
Good luck tomorrow Lis, hope it all goes swimmingly!
Not much to report babywise obviously, as Blakey came home at 5pm, went to the shop to get him some food, the it was dinner time, bath, play, bottle and bed!!! I can tell you he came home COVERED in mozzie bites and I am so fooking p!ssed off, words cannot describe it. Aeroguard people! Scott took him to his parents house all weekend out in the sticks, yeh maybe he doesn't have the sense to put it on Blake but you'd think they would - HA!
Sorry rant over, just *****s me to tears.
And the date went well but he was not my type...the conversation flowed but the chemistry just wasn't there. Ah well, hopefully I've made a new friend :)

HAPPY 9 MONTHS FLAKEY XOXOXOXOXOXO

Kenzie and I are going through a bit of a rough patch in the sleep department. She just won't sleep unless she is snuggled up against me! Everyone is telling me "I have made a rod for my own back", because we have co-slept since birth .. but now she wont have any sleep during the day unless I sleep too! So I am trying hard to make the transition to the cot, her nursery is set up beautifully and I have the soft music playing. However as soon as we go in the room and I bend over to put her in the cot she SCREAMS ... untill I pick her up again. I think its time for some tough love. I might read her stories in the cot and try to do some fun things in there to make it seem less stressful ?? I'm not sure what to do!
Other than the sleep issue Mackenzie is growing fast and changing on a daily basis. I'm feeling a bit guilty that I havent taken as many photos and video as I would have liked.
I am buying the heinz food jars for food ( I promised myself only fresh for my baby :( ) but when your moving states .. I just kinda did what was convienient so I am going to have to get my butt in gear and get a whizz stick to puree my own food.
This year I have made a promise to myself ... I am going to lose 40 kilos because I am getting married at the end of the year (finally) and there is no way I want to be a fat bride. SO! This year I am not working, not studying .. just focusing on diet .. exercise and looking after my family. I really feel like I'm, failing at being a SAHM, its all I have wanted to do for 10 years and my house is just a pig mess.. I just can't seem to get it together I think its time for ebay and I to get reaquainted and have a huge declutter.
Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year and 2008 be a fantastic year for all of us!
Ashlee :: I would be extrememly annoyed that Blake had bites all over him :( Maybe next time pack a bottle of spray in his bag? Happy 9 Months B'day for Blake!! :confetti:
Sangie :: I hate that when you write a big post and then lose it .. happens to me all the time :( Good luck at work .. it would be all over by now .. hoping you had a good day!
LuluHB :: Hows the preganacy going ?? Hoping all is well with the little bub!. Kenzie also turns around and gives me a little smile aswell before pulling all the dvds out of the rack .. it seems like they so know what they are doing don;t they .. little monkeys!
kass_20 :: I loveee the name Annabelle! I wanted to call Kenzie Annabella, but DH wouldnt let me .. ! Mackenize is the only name we could agree on! Bella / belle is so pretty! Nice to meet you.
Shellbelle :: I couldn't imagine doing your job.. must be extremely reawrding but I think I would lose it if a baby didn't make it, I really admire people like yourself who do such a wonderful job! (Sounds like your a midwife correct me if i am wrong)
Tanstar :: Woohoo for getting the car fixed! Someone ran up my rear the day before we left to drive interstate ..*not happy* but now I dont want to get it fixed because I cant do without a car. I think Harvey Norman might have 25 months interest free at the moment, we just bough a new huge plasma TV!
Mabello :: Hope Mason is feeling better, poor lil darlin.
Kristen :: I absolutly LOVE your website. You really are talented at doing what you do. You business I am certain will be a huge success. You inspired me to *try* to be 'arty' over the Christmas break up in QLD and I have put 2 of the photos in my gallery. I like em .. but they are nothing on your pictures. Definatly will make a booking, only thing is Kenzie has a little excema on her face so I want that to clear up first. What sort of camera have you got?
Little Miss Sunshine :: I'll have to check out Chadstone, hopefully when the kids go back to school it wont be as crowded.
Nurse Dan :: Yay for Livvy pulling herself up! They grow so quickly though :( I was unpacking my photos and *had* to spend 3 hours looking at them all ... no wonder I get nothing done during the day! I would have been upset if my DH hadnt consulted me either about dropping a feed :( How often do you work in a week?
Hello to anyone I have missed .. will try to keep up with the thread but sometimes its so hard to find the time.
:heartbeat:
Jen
-
sorry guys i've not been able 2 access bellybelly so ill come back 2nite and do all the personals and everything i've missed! sorry ladies i no u missed me! Ans welcome 2 the new comers!
-
Ash - sorry the date wasn't all thunderbolts and shooting stars. Still, its nice to have male friends and good ones can often be harder to find than a partner! And happy 9 month birthday to Blake for yesterday! Big poo for DH's lack of thought.
Jen - I make most of Izzy's food but occasionally for convenience will give her a jar of something. I said to DH the other day I don't know why I bother making anything because she seems to love the jar stuff more! I think so long as you buy the "good" ones, they're just as good for Kenzie anyway so don't beat yourself up about it. As for the sleeping issues, Iz went through a stage where I couldn't get her down to sleep during the day unless she was already asleep - something you could maybe try with Kenzie? Cuddle her to sleep and then put her down in her cot. As for everyone giving you a hard time about co-sleeping, tell them all to sod off. If that's what you, your partner and Kenzie are happy with then good for you. I get a little tired of people telling me I'm making it harder for myself because I do this or that. I read the other day that I shouldn't be comforting Iz when she wakes in pain during the night with teething becuase she will learn that when she cries I'll come. Hmmmm. Terrible thing for my daughter to think isn't it - she's distressed, her mummy comes. Bad mother I am!!! Good luck with the weight loss. I got married a couple of years ago and lost 15kgs for it. I now have wedding photos that I have to say, I think I look pretty damn gorgeous in :p
Lis - how did the first day of the new job go? I hope they were all nice to the new girl!!
BEST NEWS EVER - my folks live about 150kms away, which is really hard sometimes, especially with Ned coming along too. Anyway, Mum said they're going to move back to Perth in the next 12 months or so (got issues with my grandmother which is why 12 months away not now) Sooooo excited to have my mummy close by again. She's been staying with us for the last couple of days and its so nice to know the back up is there if I need it.
-
Hi girls!
Hope all bubbas have been well behaved!
Well I survived my first two days at work. There were a few tears from me of course lol but Elena was very well behaved for her grandma's and they both can't wait to have her again. So I think it has been a success. Oh and next week I only have to work on Tuesday as Monday is Australia holiday, woo hoo!
Well I'm exhausted so I'm going to bed, will be back tomorrow to catch up properly.
-
Hi ladies - a quick one from me too here.
I "officially" go back to work on Tuesday but am pretty much back as of now. :( I went in for about 5 hours yesterday and left Izzy with Al for the first time for more than 2 hours. She was fine and so was he but I cannot describe how much I realise Ive missed her when I walk in that door and have that first cuddle. Its incredible. While Im there I dont really have time to miss her if that makes sense! Well I do think about her but its not like I sit htere and stew- there is just too uch to do! Anyway Im back in again today so my gorgeous sister is coming here to look after the monkey for me. Ive been working on here all last night and this morning too -ugh I hate the beginning of term!
Hope you are all doing well - I am reading!
Lis - Im glad work went well, and hooray for Public Holidays!!!
-
Not sure if you melb girls have seen my meet up thread, but here it is, I need ideas on where to go too, its getting a bit late to iron out details now though eek!!! Here it is https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums....php?p=1118712
Am reading when I get the chance, I think Noah is teething finally which is why I can only get a minute of time to myself once in a while
Hope everyone is well!!!
-
Ok what do we all think of my AV??? Hhhmmm think I look pretty good if I do say so myself! :)
OMG I had the worst ordeal yesterday and thought I should share as a warning to you all!
I locked myself out of my house and Elena was inside
So of course I did what any woman would do and I bawled my eyes out. So I'd gone out to bring in the washing and the laundry door slammed shut in a gust of wind and somehow locked itself??? It has a button on the back of the door handle which you push to lock it but I am positive that I didn't push it so I have no idea how it locked. Anyhow I had just put Elena down for her sleep so luckily she was ok for the moment and I jumped the side fence and went round to the front of the house to make sure I couldn't hear her crying and thankfully it was all quiet.
So obviously I'm in a huge panic and I run to the neighbours house and explain and ask to use the phone. I ring DH (mind you I'm still bawling) and manage to explain what is going on but he is 1.5hours away (he is a sales rep and travels a lot). So this is followed by more bawling of course. DH says to ring a locksmith so I try that and am told that one will come in 15 mins but of course will cost me an absolute fortune. Then I remember that MIL has a spare set of keys to our house so I ring her while she is at work and she says no probs I will leave work now, go home and get the keys and come straight over, should be about 15-20mins (lucky she works and lives nearby). So I wait for her while still bawling and if I hear Elena cry at this stage I am willing to throw a brick through a window. MIL comes in 20 mins and Elena is still blissfully sleeping and unaware of what has happened and I am a complete mess lol :cryinglaugh:
Anyway we don't have any keys kept outside for fear of somebody finding them and breaking in but may have to revisit that! So a big YAY for my MIL for saving the day
Sorry for selfish post, gotta go and attend to the little one, think she may have sore gums today. BBL.
ETA sarah would love to meet you but we are going to albury for weekend for family function, have fun in melb!
-
I can't keep up at the moment again but Blake has 8 teeth now. 8? What?!!?!
-
Ugh!!! Juz's friend sent a text today saying we can't stay there now because he doesn't have the room WTF!!! I am not impressed, Juz has loaned this friend money a few years ago and this person has not paid a cent back and every time we go to meet up he is so selfish and never stops by to say goodbye b4 he goes back to Melbs, I am so angry at his disrespect and I feel like Juz is being used by him. Okay my rant is over but it looks like I might end up staying here in Horsham for the weekend and miss out on meeting up until the next time I am down...
Sangie, how terrifiying! I keep a key outside jic I forget my keys, its pretty safe here to do things like that though.
Ash, more teeth!!! Lucky girl ;) Noah doesn't have any yet!
Tan, glad to hear work went good for u yesterday. I hope it went just as well today!
Okay enough from me for now I have a stroppy boy and dinner to prep.
How quick did the week fly!!!
-
Oh Sarah that sucks hun :( I have to say Im secretly glad though because I wasnt going to be able to make it on Monday - but next time you come I might be able to! :D Brat I know- sorry :P
Had a great day today, more later - Im exhausted and have no idea how Im going to survive when the kids start! This is just setting up and planning and Im stuffed.
-
Tan - glad your first sort of day back went well.
Lis - you poor thing. I worry about Iz getting locked in the car with me on the outside. We have a spare set of keys hidden just in case. I'm with you though - a brick through the window would definitely have been high on my list!
Ash - 8 teeth is just crazy. Iz got two by 6 months but nothing since then. I wish she would just keep getting them like Blake is doing - be nice to have something to show for all the grumpiness.
Sarah - that's very annoying about Juz's "friend". Some people have no idea what friendship really means.
Iz had her 8 month check up (although she's almost 9 months!) Poor little poppet is still a tiny munchkin at 7.7kgs. But OMG - she took 3 steps without hanging on to anything yesterday. She did a nose dive into me at the end of it but it actually took a few seconds for me to realise what I'd just seen! Oh please please please let it have been a fluke and don't let my baby girl start walking any time soon.
-
Wow Lulu what a clever little girl you have. I know what you mean though, its great that our bubs are learning new things but at the same time is kind of sad that they are not so little anymore. Iz is a little poppet isn't she, how gorgeous! Elena was 8.9kg at 8 months with no shortage of fat rolls lol!
Sarah doesn't sound like Juz's friend is much of a friend. Elena doesn't have any teeth yet either, I thought she was the only one but she still has one gummy friend!
Tan glad your return to work is also going well. I know what you mean about the first cuddle after being away all day, priceless hey! After finishing work I am literally busting to pick up my princess, look out anybody who gets in my way lol! I have found it to be exhausting too, organising everything for El beforehand, working and then coming back to El and dinner and then organising again for the next day. Phew I don't know how full time working mothers do it or maybe I'm just not very good at it.
Hi Ash, Blakey has 8 more teeth than Elena does lol, how insane! I wouldn't be at all surprised if you told me his baby teeth had fallen out and that his adult teeth were there. Do you brush them or aren't you supposed to yet, I have no idea????
Gotta go, hello to everyone else and here's hoping for a night of uninterrupted sleep for all.....hhhmmmmm wishful thinking!
-
Lis- forgot to say your avi is hot to trot mama!! I use a little toothbrush for Izzys pegs, they say to start roght away as the food and milk can pool around their gums so once or twice a day I give them a little scrub. She grinds them though and I have to say its awful - ewww worst sound in the world, anyone elses bubs doing that?
Lulu - Yay for Izzy, well you know what I mean. Izzy is crusing all our furniture so its only a matter of time  Ive said it before but WHERE have our babies gone?????
-
Why hello everyone!!!
Tan, how is work going?? Are you exhausted!!!! I Am actually enjoying work a little, have to say I was so anxious going back, but after the first day felt so much better about it all.
Lis, your av is awesome!!! I wish I had an uninterrupted nights sleep also!!! What exactly is that again.....
Sarah, boohoo about your friend. What a shame. Maybe you can plan a hol to QLD instead haha!!
Ash, 8 TEETH OMG!! Angus still only has 2!! How is XDH situation going??
Lulu, 3 steps - WOW!!! She will be running around in no time!! Your baby is def growing up fast!! Angus doesn't even cruise furniture yet so heres hoping I have a few months left before tackiling the walking stage!!
Hi To everyone else out there!!!!
I have been so busy this week it has been crazy. Don't plan any subsequent kids for Jan, trust me!!! We just have x mas, then it is DD's birthday. So lotsa new toys happening round here!! She got spoilt rotten, and still has her party this Sunday, so round 2 will begin! I think I will aim for about a Sept baby next time (still thinking crazy woman thoughts Lulu pmsl!!)
How is everyone going with the solids?? Do yoou all do sollids before or after BF/bottle now?? Angus just doesnt seem to have any sort of routine lately, he is all over the shop. Up and down all night BF, sometimes up at 6am, other days 8am. Is driving me insane!!!
Anyway, might do a bit of forum cruising then head to bed! Ciao
-
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot believe it. Mason only woke once, yes I mean ONCE from 9pm to 6:30am. ****!
I wonder if it has to do with the huge amount of food he ate last night... he had 2 full size saladas, 2 big baby biscuits, a huge 170gm jar of pasta bolognese, chicken off my dinner plate, vegies off my dinner plate and then home made custard!!
Anyway I can finally stand up today and open my eyes for once. whoo hoo. bet it wont last though
Mason still only has two teeth at the bottom, and still has no desire to crawl or be on his tummy at all! he spends his day squaking and squealing, and does not stop talking.
Hope everyone else is doing well. I should be able to keep up in the next day or two thanks to my good sleep last night!
-
hey guys sorry i havent been around! Tan that new pic of iz on ur ticker is beautiful, im still trying 2 work out how 2 fit a different one on mine, it wont let me.
MAbello: Congrats on Mason sleepinf so well, i wish bella would do the same theres another tooth coming through and she doesn't want 2 sleep!
Lulu: I can believe she has taking 3 steps!!! Thats so exciting!!! Now ur really going 2 have 2 watch her, she'll b in2 everything! Was she proud of herself?
Guess what ladies mum and dad r giving me an early 21st prezzie!!!! Bella and I r going 2 Europe!!!!
Also ill go back over the other threads later 2 c what else i've missed coz u guys talk so much!!!
-
Hi everyone!!
Thought I would do a quick hello, and see whats going on. Will pop in on the weekend to do personals, just a tad tired at the moment, TBH can't keep my eyes open and its only almost 8pm here!!!
Kass - wow Europe sounds amazing!!! When are you going there?
Ethyn is FINALLY getting his first tooth!!!!! He's got a long way to go to catch up to Blake!!!
He has just started saying "dadda" yesterday, and is still climbing his way up the furniture!!! No sign of crawling, he kinda moves his legs as he pulls himself along with his arms, which he seems to be quite happy doing, so not sure if he will crawl or not!!
Anyways must go, need to veg on the lounge!!
-
Lee- its so funny when they "drag" themselves around! I didn't think Iz would crawl either because she was able to get to where she wanted SO fast by just pulling herself everywhere, but she has worked out crawling........kind of!! Haha she crawls on hands and FEET! Heehee so unco! Yay for Ethyns first tooth - so cute!!
Kass- I love this pic too, its a bit serious for my Iz but she just looks so cute!! When you are resizing your pics for Lilypie, go to whatever program you have for editing, make pixel size no bigger than 600x400 and DPI 72. Good luck! Yay for Europe! You lucky girl! Where do you think you will go and when? Have fun planning!
Danni- Yay for Mason hun! I really hope its a turn for you and he starts sleeping better for you. Its soo tough. Hope you are ok hunny. How is the househunting going??
Dan- How are you going? Hope Livvy is doing well and you are feeling like you care getting into a bit more of a routine with work hun.
Shell- I hope DD's party goes well today!! I was thinking a summer baby would be fun! My birthday is in July and we had a pool and I hated it because I always wanted a pool party but couldnt have one!! Maybe a Feb baby!! ;) I still generally do feed first, but thats just because my booby monster is 3 hourly and it works out ok, occasionally brekkie will be before a feed though. She has brekkie, lunch, dinner and an afternoon snack like yoghurt, cruit or cruskits. Im thinking about fruit, yoghurt or custard after dinner too now. Anything to try and stop her waking twice a night!! :D I didnt mention it in my last few posts, but Im so sorry to hear about the little bubs who didnt make it when you were working. :( That would be soooo hard, I dont know how you do it, but I do know that you, Dan and all midwives are just absolutely wonderful and really do such an amazing job.
Lis - it is exhausting isn't it. I think its the strain of making sure Ive packed everything for her, written down all the instructions for her and told everything to mum that I need to. That all takes sooo long! I used to be one of those people that got up at the lastest possible minute for, work, hitting snooze a million times, then jumping in the shower, dressed and in the car. No brekkie - coffee once I got there!! Heehee! Now I know that once I officially start I will have to get up as Al leaves and give myself at least 1.5-2 hours to get ready!
Lulu- Yay for Izzy! What a clever little chooky hun, and it will be handy for you if she is walking well once Ned comes along too! (I think!? Not having 2 kids Im not sure but it kinda makes sense?! :P) She is little isnt she but I really dont think Iz is that far off really, she was 7.3 at her last checkup but shes really thinned down a bit since she has started crawling and standing on everything. LIttle wonder - shes so active the whole time shes awake! Oooh yay for mum moving closer too!!!! Thats great news!! :confetti:
Jen - so good to hear from you! How is the sleeping going?? Stuff the "rod for your own backers" Im getting that now because she wont go back to sleep at night without a feed and we are struggling with that. Which suburb or area did you move to?? Maybe we should organise a Melbourne Map catch up when Sarah is here next!
Sarah! Hi hunny! How are you?? How is Noah going?? I hope you guys can come to Melbourne soon, that really sucks about your friend, I hate it when plans are cancelled at the last minute like that. How is work going - are you still getting a nice amount of orders coming in??
Ashi- 8 teeth! Thats amazing!! What a big boy Blake is and Happy 9mths a bit belated though!! :( for mozzie bites, the poor thing. Its so hard when there isnt much you can do. I hope you are doing super dooper well though hun.
Cant go back much further - Ive been soo flat out this week, and am back to work Tuesday "officially" so Im going to make the most of Al being home for the next few days - usually he works 6 days a week.
We are having a few friends here for a bbq and to listen to the hottest 100 on Triple J and it looks like a hot one so lots of pool today I think.
Izzy is cruising along so well - its such a fun age, I spend all day lying on the floor with her playing games and laughing while she climbs all over me! She has 3 teeth, and I cant wait to get her weighed, Im guessing she will have only just broken the 8kg mark. I think we are gonna tough love it again and stop these night feeds. I think Im gonna get Al to do all the settling initially because if I go in she gets angry that shes getting me but not booby. Ugh its soo hard.
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY ALL!!! Have a great weekend!
-
Happy Aussie Day everyone!
Tan enjoy your weekend by the pool, sounds like the place to be in this hot weather. Does Iz love the pool? My ILs have a pool and El just loves it, starts laughing before she even gets in lol! I know what you mean, I love this age too and sometimes I wish I could freeze her at this age for a while!
Danni I hope Mason was good two nights in a row, did you fill him up with food again lol! Can't believe he ate that much food without bursting, maybe he is having a growth spurt. El hates tummy too and is not really crawling but does do this unco slide along the floor sometimes to get what she wants. I don't think she will crawl properly at all.
Kass yay for your parents, how exciting? Where abouts in europe are you going? We went 2 years ago and it was one of the best times of our lives, we loved it and hope to go back one day!
Shell Happy birthday to your DD, hope she has a great time at her party? We do bottle before feeds, one in morning when she wakes, one in late afternoon before dinner and then one before bed. I'm wrapped that she has dropped down to 3 woo hoo!
Lee nice to hear from you, yay for ethyn's first tooth and for saying dadda! El says dadda all day long, drives me bonkers sometimes! She can say mamma but only says it when she is upset, that'd be right....cheeky monkey.
Ok that is as far back as I can manage this morning. We are heading up to Albury tomorrow for an engagement party so going to spend a good chunk this afternoon packing and making sure I have everything for Elena. I am a proud mumma as El has learned to wave and whenever you say 'bye bye' to her she starts to wave, so cute! I am trying to teach her to clap hands too and she has almost got it.....better go, take care everyone!
-
Hellloooooo gorgeous May Mummies!!
I am just quickly popping my head in to say hello - I'm afraid I have no time for personals as I am completely swamped and behind in my work already (!) but just wanted to touch base with you all to let you know I'm thinking of you all and hope you're going really well!!!
... back to work!
-
I am so sorry to be a selfish b!tch right now but you all need to know.
I've been the victim of picture stealing.
Before I joined BB I was a member of an American forum, BabyNamesWorld. A friend I have been chatting too for almost 2 years sent me a text this morning "Get online now, someone has stolen pictures of Blake".
To my horror, it's true. Some stupid fing hoe has claimed this is her 5th son, names James Isaac born 27 December. She even had the audacity to use the caption I had with the picture, referring to his "attitude".
Password all sites that have pictures of your precious children on them NOW. You do NOT know who is accessing these sites, and I don't want you to have to feel the heartache I am feeling right now.
Please, if not for mine or Blake's sake, do it for your baby's.
-
Ashlee :: That is just discusting, all I can say is that she must be mentally disturbed. Perhaps she was pregnanty and lost the baby and is pretending that Blake is hers ..? I have heard of that happening. Thank God that this lady lives in America. You have posted any personal information about Blake have you? I am so careful what I write on here, you just never ever know who is lurking .. not contributing just reading waiing for someone to post something they can "use". The only pictures I have on the internet of Kenzie are the few here on BB. I wondeer if it is possible to password proctect them? Not sure.
-
I just got a friend to run an IP address - this person lives 20 minutes away from me. I feel like being sick.
-
Ash - that's terrible sweetie. You poor thing. There are some very strange people out there and while I think the internet is great, its given these weirdos way too easy access into our private lives. Thanks for the warning.
Hi to everyone else. No time to catch up now but will try to check in later.
-
Ashlee i cant believe this could happen r u able 2 do something about it, its kind of abuse against Blake isn't it? I would write a letter and post it 2 her telling her u'll see her in court if she doesn;t get them off the site. Dont see her in person as she sounds like a freak!
-
Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been around but it's been crazy busy here. Between working four days a week, studying, spending time and playing with Livvy, house hunting and everything else us mums seem to do I just don't have any free time at the moment. I'm reading the best I can and i'll be back soon to catch up on some personals real soon, hopefully anyway.
Ash that is really freaky. Some people are just plain ole weirdo's.
Chat soon mums and bubs,

OMG Ash how awful, I agree that maybe a nasty letter from you may scare her and stop her doing it to somebody else. I am also careful about what I put on the net and the only photos I have of Elena are the few on this site. It's just so friggin scary...........sounds like she needs mental help.
Anyway just a brief one for me, I'm exhausted after travelling back from Albury today and now I have to unpack and then repack for Elena when I go to work tomorrow. At least I am only working one day this week so I have the rest of the week to recover.
Chat soon!

hey guys just 2 answer some questions, Im going 2 europe either May or August not sure yet anybody have some suggestions? And its just Bella and I going just for 3 wks, my sis is over there and has been since 2 days b4 i had Bella so she's never met Bella, touchy subject. So she's coming over here in May 4 Bella's 1st birthday and then going back 2 live out her lease.

Oh Ash that is awful, there are so many weirdos online isn't there?
Kass, sorry no suggestions here yet, I am currently planning my trip back home to Canada and I am staying for 12 weeks. The only tips I have been given so far is to get family members to pick up as many items as possible from other rellies or friends like portacots and strollers. Buy or hire a new carseat. Other than that I have no idea. If you can afford a full fare flight for Annabelle then I would go that option and then you have to take your carseat anyway. It is a long flight with a baby sitting on your lap.
Ok there goes Noah, his patience sure doesn't last, I don't know how much more of this I can cope with before I snap!!! Be back later hopefully to catch up properly.

A big hi to everyone else, will try and get back on later tonight or tomorrow and catch up. I know I've been promising that but this time I (hopefully) mean it!!!!!

Ash - **** - that is terrible. I can't believe some people. I hope you can sort something out hun.
Today was my first official day back at work - man the politics! I forgot how bad it was in a staff of all women! :D So much has happened since I left so I have had to catch up on it all too. Izzy was great with my sister today - she didn't drink much water or formula though and it was a long day between feeds - 8-530, so I'm hoping mum will have more luck with her tomorrow. I missed her so much too and when I saw her my neice was holding her and she just looked at me, half smiled and then kept chewing on her cruskit like- Hi mum, how are ya?! Im fine!
Anyway Im buggered.....I'm off to have dinner and to bed! Will catch you all soon!

So glad that your first day went okay Tan and YAY on Izzy being so good for her aunty. It's so hard leaving them isn't it?? But I love it when I come home and Livvy crawls at top speed towards me squealing and giggling. I love it that she is so excited to see me because I'm always excited to see her. Makes me feel like she misses me as much as I miss her.

Yay that your first day went well Tan! Hhhhmmm must be something about cruskits, Ellie loves them too.
Kass how exciting that you are going to europe? I have seen a bit of europe so if you have any questions then fire away....
Danni I hope you find a new place soon, bugger that you have to leave. It is awful thinking about going to work again but as much as I miss Ellie, I think its also good for me to have a bit of a break from her and have some adult conversation! I think now that I really cherish the time I do get with her even more so than before (and I'm only away from her for 2 days lol).
Hugs for everyone else, gotta fly. House looks a bit like a bomb hit it and I have heaps of clothes to wash, poor washing machine won't know what hit it today. :)
