Hi girls,
Glad to hear everyone is going well!
Mel - fingers crossed for you hon!!
Leigh - I've got most of Sienna's Christmas pressies. Because we were hoping to be in our new home by chrissy, I've bought her stuff for the yard: a swing, a sandpit/ballpit and a wading pool. I also have some books for her, and no doubt I'll buy some clothes btw now and chrissy
But I'm totally unorganised for everyone else - think I'll be doing the whole gift voucher option this year - not enough time in the day!!
Kate - hope Bella's party goes really well!! You'll have to post some piccies on facebook!
Sienna still has just the five teeth, whenever she has an unsettled night, I'm sure she's going to wake up with another one, but nup, not yet.
She's started walking on her own, only in short bursts, but I'm so proud!! I actually surprised myself by getting a bit teary when she took her first steps, I'm not usually an emotional kinda girl, but it really hit me that our lil' bubs are growing up!!
As for the bottles, Sienna is on full cow's milk but still having three bottles a day. I've no idea what the recommendations are for her age, but I need to take her for her 12 month checkup soon so I'll look into it further then. She had her shots last week, poor little thing was so brave!! I was at work so hubby took her along with some support from his mum, lol. Not a pleasant experience, but ya gotta do it!!
We're all clear from chickenpox too!! Woo hoo, we escaped it (altho part of me is thinking that it would have been betta to get it all over and done with early, but it was such bad timing with Sienna's b'day party etc etc).
So yep, we're all good here. Put up the chrissy tree yesterday - will be interesting working out how to keep Lil' Miss Busyfingers away from that, but hey, all part of the fun!!
Take care all, sorry for anyone I missed in personals xx

Hey all,
Happy Birthdays to all the little bubs...Willow's party went well (combined with our Christmas party there were about 70 odd people so it was a bit huge, but lots of fun).
Smoz- a catch up would be great, PM me when you want to line something up (I don't think I have your number still).
Miss W still not walking but pulling herself up a lot more. Both her feet are turned out like a ballerina when she stands so guess that once she starts pointing her feet forward she might start walking. DD1 didn't walk till 17mths so not too worried yet. Though we do have a lot of ongoing issues with DD1's development and off to see a Developmental Paed tomorrow for some more assessments...seems to have been a year of full on running around just trying to work out what is going on, will be good to get some answers eventually.
Good luck Mel. :crossfingers:
Best get back to the housework...about the only time that I can tackle it is after all have gone to bed :(
Cheers
Jo

Melissa - Bella now has a white lump in her gum and im pretty sure that I can see the top of the molar coming through!! Poor bub - she is so good tho - I have only had to give her neurofen 2ce. TEST NOW!! LOL!
I will be sure to post pics on FB pf Bellas party!!
I forgot to say the other day that Bella took 2 steps by her self on sat night and another 2 today!! Plus she can stand now by herself for a few seconds before reaching for somthing!! Its all heading towards walking! I was hoping she would walk before her b'day but never mind!!
My dad bought a new swing set and swimming pool and sand pit for Bellas birthday so there will be pleanty for the kids to do!!
Better go and do some cleaning - I know what you mean Jo - hard to do when they are awake!!

:dance::dance: Congratulations Melissa!!! Fantastic news, I had a feeling this month would be your month. I am so excited for you. And just think, you were going to take a month off from ttc, lucky you didn't. Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy & fingers crossed its a boy!
-
Thanks Leigh...I know, isnt it funny how it works. We were determined to take this month off and not get utd! I think it really was about having another birthday around the 21st july....its dhs, then our nieces the day before, then a few friends a few days later! Then I had a good think about it and my cycles are longer, so I wont be due til mid August....and I went 7 days early with Olivia and 10 days early with Bec......so if it follows, early August! Am happy with that! I dont have morning sickness, no sore boobs...just tiredness and vagueness! Oh and another positive htp today....just coz I have nothing better to do that pee on a stick....just to make sure!

Happy Birthday Bella for yesterday. Hope you had a fantastic day!!!
Mel - Hope the morning sickness stays away for you. Did you have it with your girls? The 21st of July is my dad's b'day, plus I know heaps of ppl born around the same time so I would've been in the same boat as you if I were ttc. How did you go with timing your DTD for a boy? Anyone else going to start trying soon???
-
Leigh its a busy time for us too...luckily my cycles are longer, so i have ovulated later and...yeah! As for the m/s, i had nausea with the girls and sore boobs. I have niether now! Just tired. As for the timing we dtd the night of the positive opk and the following morning...then that day it was negatibe again...so hopefully its a boy....but am happy for a healthy baby.
Yes...anyone else?
-
Thanks ladies for all your b'day wishes for Bella! she had a lovely day and our house in now sponsored by Fisher-Price! She got soooo many pressies at her party and they ALL make noises!! LOL
We are going to start TTC in April next year so that will come around fast I wouls imagine! Im so excited about it! I wanna start now - but we need to wait as I would like to take advantage of the governments paid maternity scheme that starts 2011 - as I work for a private company and I barely have any AL now either because I only work 2 days a week.
Not much news from me!
Hope eveyone is well!!

Yay Mel, Congratulations!! So thrilled for you! Can't remember if I already asked but will you find out the sex? Please tell us! lol, just kidding , I guess you don't have to :P
Kate, happy birthday to gorgeous little Bella. :D Sounds like she got loads of new toys! April isnt far away at all! That would be a great age gap I think :)
On the TTC it is weird. Before I had Mia I was so clucky, I was in tears alot because hubby wasnt ready to TTC but I was. It was all consuming, it was the only thing I wanted and thought about. But now, I'm so happy and thrilled with my little girl, Im not clucky at all! Which is so strange, I thought I would be. I wonder when I will get clucky again? And to be honest Mia has always been a crap sleeper so I dont want to go back to that again just yet! lol
Luckily she is only waking once a night now, which is a massive improvement. She was waking every 4 hours for the first year. I need to catch up on sleep, lol!
-
Hey,
Mel - congratulations to you on your pregnancy, wonderful news, can't wait to hear about all your pregnancy stages and how you are going, amazing, it only seems like yesterday we were all going through it, I can't get over how quick this past year has gone.
Kate - Happy first birthday to Bella, sounds like she had an awesome day.
Skyeblue - we are still having crap sleep here...argh.....so I am in no hurry for another one at the moment :) As I type Finn has woken up again, third time in an hour and a half......
Well it was our little man Finn's birthday last Monday, 7th Dec, we went out on Puffing Billy, a steam train that goes out to the Dandenongs, both the kids loved it and it was a great family day out.
I am loving Christmas, Rylee, my little three year old is just so excited and I love seeing the excitement on her little face, this is the best year yet.
Okay, hello to everyone, nearly off to bed for me.

Thanks girls, alls good here. I am only 5 weeks pregnant and dont have much symptoms at all! Will probably find out what flavour baby we have, but will see how we go. We tried to time it for better chance of a boy, but am happy with either. Dh is already calling it a girl!
Happy 1st birthday to Bella and Finn. Hope they had a great day.
Laurin, I know what you mean about Christmas. This year I am really getting into it because Olivia knows and is so excited. She will be 3 next April so its just started to click. Becca just pulls he decorations off the tree!
We still have crap nights here, between Rebecca teething...she got her first molar through and Olivia toilet training over night....its a little crazy! I dont mind so much coz I have no choice and it will end...then start again with #3!!
Skye- I think we were at a point were things were good and we said to ourselves we could do it again...plus I have a ticking time clock called age, so always knew that we would have ours one after the other because I dont want to be much older and popping out bubs iykwim! Hope that makes sence, am a little brain dead from a late night!
-
Mel I totally understand! If I was older, I would have another close in age, but at 28 I figure I have plenty of time, and I only want one or two more. Glad to hear you are feeling well, hope it stays that way for you :) Hope the sleeping gets better, it's a killer huh.
Booboo hope your sleep improves now. Is your DD a good sleeper? Happy birthday to Finn, sounds like an awesome day!
ok, Im off to work now, yuck. Have a great day all

Hi girls,
Just a quick one from me...
Mel - glad to hear all is going well for you - so very exciting.
I'm with Skyblue, Sienna was a crap sleeper until she was 11 months old so no more for me in a hurry. Altho now that she is sleeping well, I do find that I'm getting slightly clucky. But at the moment, she is so much fun and such a joy to be with, that I'm happy just to focus on her for awhile. (Hmm, I'm sounding a little unsure there aren't I, hee hee)
Kate - glad to hear Bella's party went well!! I hear ya on the toys - I haven't even unpacked half of Sienna's presents as I'm waiting to move into our (much bigger!!) house!
She's off and walking now, and she's an independent little creature, not interested in holding hands at all, she wants to do it all on her own. She's finally got some more teeth, two more at the top. Sleep is still good most nights, touch wood. She's pretty funny with the whole Christmas scene, she keeps walking past the tree saying "pretty" and "ball" (for baubles), and I've had to put all the pressies up on a shelf to keep them away from Miss Busyfingers.
We've had heaps of dramas with our house so definitly won't be in by Chrissy, more like mid-Jan to early-Feb *sigh* but we're getting there.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll be back before Chrissy - hope everyone's Chrissy shopping is done, and you're not too stressed!! Take care xx

Hi Girls,
Just popping in to wish you and your families a very Merry Xmas. We're off to Melbourne tomorrow to spend Xmas with my family. DD1 flew down today with my mum, then tomorrow DH, Lara and I will fly down. DH doesnt finish work until midnight tonight. I'm a bit worried how Lara will cope on a 3 and a half hour flight. She wont like being strapped to my lap for so long. I am hoping she'll sleep for at least half the trip, wishful thinking I know! I probably wont be back online until we get home, which will be around the 2nd of Jan.
Sorry it has been a bit of a me post but I have to get back to packing, I hate packing.
Take care and I hope you all have a lovely day on Xmas day!

Merry Chrustmas everyone for friday and have a happy and safe new year.
As some of you know, I started bleeding on Sunday, scan revealed not a lot and my hcg levels arent rising like normal. Just waiting for thursday for another blood test to see if I am actually really miscarrying. So thats my news. I am feeling good otherwise.
