Good luck Kate on the ttw...i hated it too and would always test from10dpo! I never got anything til about 12 or 13! Hope bellas teeth settle soon. Becs settled with her teeth, so the eye teeth are next and then the 2 year old molars. I think she will have them well before 2...unless i get a nice long break.
Leigh my next scan is at 12 weeks, which is sometime around easter I think. I have to ring my gp to get all the paperwork done and the referral for the u/s. Hope you can hold off for your supprise:) I know the feeling about having a boy, however i think i will end up with another girl. I think I am ok with that. I know when I found out Bec was a girl, i was disappointed for about a week. I know if i have another girl it will be hard at the start, but there are so many positives to it. I quite like having girls...ask me when they are teenagers! A boy would be nice to throw in the mix though.
-
Mel - I love having girls and honestly wouldn't mind another girl but I know DH desperately would love a boy & a boy would be a nice change for me too, but I don't know what to do with a boy ha ha and I have absolutely no boy stuff, suppose it is an excuse to go shopping, but at the moment I have been buying all neutral colours, which I find boring but its what I have to do if I want a surprise. I'm not looking forward to being exhausted, especially in the first few weeks, it will be hard coz I will still have to get up and get DD1 ready for school etc. I just hope Lara and the bub sleep at the same time during the day so I can get some sort of rest, bet it wont happen though.
-
well Mel ....looks like we might be buddies again....yep, peed on a stick and what do you know :) still very early days.....I have done 6 poas and first few were very faint but today's was definitely a line....not sure how I feel, still in shock, we wern't ttc so....but all gond :)
sorry this is definitely an all about me post.

OMG Laurin...WOOT WOOT!
CONGRATULATIONS...when are you due? Fantastic news I am so thrilled for you.
-
Laurin - Fantastic news  I am soooo happy for you. Now all we need is for Kate to fall pregnant and 4 of us from our old group will be pregnant again at the same time. This is so exciting!!! We weren't trying either Laurin, so I was in complete shock when I found out too. When do you think you will go for a scan?
-
Thanks girls, from what I can work out, Due Date will be around 23 October....so I guess I will go and see my doctor in the next week or so, then do the usual 12 week scan I think. We are definitely not going to find out the sex - I am so looking forward to that surprise and this is our last bub.
Leigh - even now I am dreading the exhaustion and trying to coordinate the other two - I am hopeless at the newborn stage, it's only now that Finny is one that I feel I have got my life together again.
DH is excited, he said he wanted ten kids, I told him to find another wife, we are stopping at three :) rofl

Good to hear that Bella went well in her room. Its is nice having your own space.
LAurin, I am a bit of a mess too at the new born stage. I find I am copng really well now they are older. Good to hear dh is excited. We still arent getting too excited yet, but I think it will start kicking in soon, especially since I dry wretched at making lunches this morning! I feel crap!
-
Kate, fingers crossed for you hun, I am sending lots of pregnancy vibes your way! Great that Bella is happy in her own room, Finn was in with us until 10 months, I found I slept so much better and he did too when he moved it, it was weird the first few nights but now I love just having a bit of space and feeling like a grown up and having my own room.
Mel - yeah, I feel a bit gross too, I can't believe I have been walking around the house with my fly undone because I feel so bloated. I have got some bolognaise sauce cooking in the slow cooker and the smell is making me feel sick. The joys...:)
Well back to it, need to do the groceries.

Hi Girls,
Kate - I am sending you lots of pregnancy vibes too. Fingers x'd it wont take too long for you to fall pregnant. Have you tested yet? Ha ha I could never control myself, wasting test after test each month. Glad Bella has settled into her own room, now you and DH can get lots of practice ttc ha ha.
Laurin & Mel - I hope you girls don't get bad morning sickness. I am glad mine is over now, although on Saturday I felt a bit yucky again. I had 24 hour sickness for the first 12 wks.
Lara is in a foul mood at the moment. We just got home and she fell asleep in the car for the 15 min trip home. I tried putting her back to bed once we got home but she just screamed the house down so now she wont end up having a proper sleep and will be very cranky by bed time tonight.
Its raining here and really nice sleep weather, wish I could have a sleep. I had a bad dream last night that I went for my 20 wk scan and was told the baby had died, so now I am really paranoid. I used my doppler this morning to listen to the heart beat and it was fine. Think before I go for my scan next week I will use it again that morning to be on the safe side.

Hi Girls,
Kate - has AF shown up yet or have you tested? Can't wait to hear the result.
Mel & Laurin - how are you both travelling? Hope ms hasn't set in too bad!!
I had to go for a GTT this morning. Remember I ended up with gestational diabetes while pregnant with Lara? That's why I had to go for a test so early with this pregnancy. Fingers crossed I don't have it but I have a high chance as diabetes runs high in my family. If I pass today's test I still have to go for another GTT at 28wks coz it can still develop later on. Should get my results next wk some time. I go for my 20 wk scan on Thursday, can't wait!!!!
Hi to everyone I have missed.
Have a lovely weekend!
-
Hi everyone
Kate - thinking of you.....
Leigh - yes, I do remember you had gest. diabetes with Lara, hope all is well this time, great they are testing so early on to get onto things.
Mel - how are you going?
How are all the other lovely ladies....????
All well here, no ms just extreme tiredness, thought I was tired before but now, I feel like I have a serious hangover (no headache) in the morning's and could sleep for another 5 hours, hope it passes soon. I have an appointment with my Dr on Monday. I did another HPT today and the line was as dark as the control line, up until now I had only been getting light lines....this is going to be one loooong pregnancy, I am not even 6 weeks yet, no one in real life knows yet (apart from DH of course :) ) will prob wait until 10 weeks for family and 12 weeks for others, what about you guys? Have you joined your pregnancy belly buddies yet?
Okay have a good one everyone.
Laurin

Good luck Leigh with your test and looking forward to your 20 week scan:)
Laurin- I hear you on the tiredness. Rebecca had a shocker of a night last night and I nearly fell over with dizziness getting p this morning. I have nausea in the morning and need to eat right away to seetle things. Then it hits again later in the evening. We have only told very few people. I will tell my family and the inlaws at Olivias birthday dinner...so I will be almost 11 weeks. Then i will tell others after the scan. I joined the due date group already! Am thinking I might try a homebirth this time around, although i need to get dh completely on side for that!
Better run....have a great weekend
Kate...have you tested?

Wow, there’s been a lot of action in here!!! And a lot of baby vibes...I’m a little scared to come in here coz I’m not quite ready for a sibling for Sienna!!! Lol
Seriously tho, I’m so excited for you girls!!! Can’t wait to follow your pregnancy journeys...
Big congrats Laurin!! Your due date is my b’day! (I’m overloading on the exclamation points in this post, lol).
Mel, glad to hear all is going well, and glad for you that there’s just the one...although twins would be a lot of fun..... DH’s grandfather is a twin, but apparently it comes from the female side of the family so I should be safe.
Kate, I get a bit lost with all the technical preggo speak, but I have my fingers crossed for you and hope it’s all going well. Yay that Bella slept well in her own room, and yep, they sure are growing up quick...lol at Leigh’s comment that you now have more space to practice ttc
Leigh, DH is giving our real estate agent our notice to move today, so we’ll have to be out in 21 days – eeek – I’m freaking out somewhat coz there is so much to do to get our rental ready for final inspection, and also so much to do to get the new house ready to move in. These kind of life events are proving somewhat harder with a 15 month old in tow, lol
Good luck with your 20 week scan!!
As for Sienna, I think she’s well on the way to dropping to one day sleep, she’s still all over the place and some days are still definitely “two sleep” days (ie when she wakes up crabby and doesn’t really improve her mood throughout the morning) but we’re getting there. She’s got both molars on the bottom and I can see little white peaks on the top, she’s constantly got her fingers in her mouth and has had a bit of nappy rash on and off too, poor chicken.
That’s about it for me...looking forward to checking up on everyone’s progress next time xxxxx

Hi Girls,
I went for my 20 wk scan this morning and everything is perfect. I am 20 wks today (my ticker keeps falling a day behind). Bub is measuring 20wks and 5 days. I didn't cave in and find out the sex. I did tell the sonographer at the end of the scan that we didn't want to know but had she seen what the baby was? She said she hadn't seen what it was & said to us that if we think we may have seen what it was that we hadn't coz she didn't see so there is no way we could have. Makes it easier not knowing what sex it is when the sonographer didn't see herself.
How is everyone else going? Hope you're all well!
-
Thats great Leigh that you didnt findout. Makes it so much more exciting. Dh wants to find out, but I dont think I want to know this time because I honestly think we will end up with another girl, so am expecting it. I dont mind either way. This is our last and we have found out every other time, so it would be nice having a suprise bub. Its funny, dhs cousin had their 2nd girl on Monday, so dh and his 2 brothers and his 2 male cousins and his female cousin all have girls for their first 2 children. One of his cousins went back for a 3rd and had a boy. So thats 12 girls and 1 boy! What are the odds! Dh is happy either way as long as bub is healthy.
I still have to have a chat to him about homebirth. They are running a pilot project through Casey Hospital to support homebirths. I need to ring the lady and find out. The only think that concerns me now is our house extention looks like it wont be starting until june/july...so hopefully it will be done by October! Hopefully! Otherwise I am booked into Dandenong hospital.
All good here. How is everyone else?

After noon Ladies,
Just a quickie as Bella is asleep and I need to get tea in the slow cooker!
Its a BFN for me and AF has just finished so onto cycle #2 for us! Its ok tho - I really didnt expect it forst time round. But on a positive AF turned up smack bang on 28 days so at least I know round abouts when I will O. Poor DH will be getting it eveu second day in a few days! LOL - like he minds !!
Sounds like all the bubs in tums are going great guns! So good to hear!!
Bella has been really crook for the past week - A reaction to her 12 month injections I think, she had a 39+ temp for 3 days and was spewing and just crying as she was so miserable, she stopped eating and drinking so we took her to the hospital and they didnt really know what was going on - maybe reaction or maybe a virus. She is on the mend now - still a bit miserable and very very very tiered! She has been sleeping alot over the past 2 days I guess to catch up and repair herself.
Well better get tea on - I have a bloody headache and a half! Might even have a lie on the couch too!
Love kate xox
