Leigh thats a bugger about the rupture. When do you go and see the specialist? Hope you get another chance if you want to. I am a little anxious...i dont know if thats the right word, about ttc #3. I just cant imagine what it would be like and if I will manage well. I am sure I will be fine!
Just turned Beccas seat around, havent taken her out yet! But I put the seats next to each other....hopefully it will work out well!

I'll be turning Lara's seat around in the next few days too. The girls sit next to each other now, even though Lara is still rear ward facing. Will be good to see them both facing the same way though.
My GP said he'd give me a referral the next time I see him, which will be for Lara's 12 month check up, unless I get sick and need to see him sooner. I might go sooner though coz Lara took 23 months to conceive, it was a nightmare that it took so long, we had 2 miscarriages in between though. We conceived our DD1 the first month of trying so was very frustrating that Lara took so long. I hope that if I can have another baby that it doesnt take too long to conceive.

hi girls!
Sorry I have been MIA for a while! Things are great here, Mia isn't sick for once, and is a happy bubba. Her sleeping has improved, she has a sleep for 1.5- 2 hours in the morning then another hour in the arvo...nights...well...they are "better" but still not the best lol. Bed at 7pm, dream feed at 10.30, wake for a feed at 4 or 5 and up at 7. A few times she didnt have the feed over night at all and I got excited, but last night it was 3am! I think there is a top tooth coming soon, she has been waking up upset and straight to sleep after some bonjela.
She is crawling everywhere and loves pulling herself up on her knees, not on her feet yet! I'm working 2 days a week, dropping back to one soon but wanting to pick up another day, the hours arent long and Im enjoying the extra money, Mia stays with the Grandparents which she loves.
Is anyone on Facebook that I havent got? PM me I'll add you :)
Mel- I have the 6 sided valco playpen, it is huge and Mia loves it. Which one did you end up getting?
Leigh- yikes sorry to hear about the rupture. I hope you can TTC again! When will you find out.
Melissa- Mia is pretty long and for that reason I think I will have to turn the car seat around soon...but I want to leave it RF as long as I can. I didn't think about the falling asleep thing, you have a point there. Oooh good luck TTC again! That is exciting. I just want to do the whole newborn thing again!
Kate- Exciting another one to TTC in this group! Glad Bella is doing so well, she is such a cutie.
Epacris- yay for Harri crawling, is she getting into everything? Mia sure is! lol
Oh well better head off, I am craving sushi BADLY and Mia is still asleep! Im tempted to wake her so we can go get some! hehe.

Hi All,
Well we changed the seat around and shes doing really well. We havent had any issues so far with her head flopping forward when she sleeps. We have been doing well, although it seems every time Rebecca cuts a tooth, she ends up with an ear and throat infection...thats how I worked out she was cutting her 5th tooth last week!!! Shes so much better now though. She was so ill she just lay there and would crawl or roll, she had a temp over 40. So now thats all past, shes crawling fast and standing up and starting to take a few steps to the side...soon she will be cruising the furniture all the time. Shes very chatty too, today I heard her saying no!!! I think shes just mimiking her sister!!
Hope everyone is well.....

Hi all,
Haven't been in for awhile..
Sienna is doing well, we had our first experience with gastro last week - OMG yuk!! So much poo and spew!! Hubby and Sienna were terrible but luckily I escaped it - typical woman holding the fort
Sienna's sleeping has declined again - arrrrggghh - she's up multiple times during the night, but luckily most times she goes down without a fuss once we shove her dummy back in. We're off to Tresillian in a week or so, and I know they'll tell us to get rid of the dummy...yikes!!
Skye - I ended up getting a Jolly Kidz Magic pen - It's plastic and you can make it any size you like by adding extra pieces. Just couldn't get hubby to agree on spending $250 on the Valco one, but I'm happy enough with this one. Sienna is occasionally happy to stay in there and play on her own, but usually she's standing up at the side whinging to get out - joy!!
I'll try and work out how to PM you coz I'm on Facebook all the time.
Mel - glad to hear Bec's better - it's so awful when they're sick!! Uh oh - starting with the "No" already!!! You're in for a fun time, lol. Sienna has started making animal noise when we read her story books - she loves making growling noises (for Lion), barking, and making monkey noise - too cute!!
Leigh - sorry to hear about what ur going thru - fingers crossed that you get another chance xxx
Everyone - hope all mum's and bub's are going well and hope all the hubbies had a wonderful Father's Day!!
Take care xx

Hi Girls,
It has been quiet in here lately. Hope you and all the bubs are doing well.
Well I finally got around to turning Lara's car seat around yesterday. I haven't been for a drive yet so can't wait to see how Lara goes when we do.
We had another snake in the house again on Sunday night. Omg I hate snakes, we live in Cairns (well the suburb we live in is one of the beach surburbs) We've had so many snakes in the yard and this is the 2nd one that we know of that has come in. They are sliding through under the screen door. Anyway it went into a hole in the wall where some pipes go in. We called a snake handler and he couldn't get it. He said it is a venomous snake though so I am freaking out. The piping is covering electrical wires. If it were normal pipes we could've put the hose through the hole & turned it on, and the snake may have come out. Anyway the only option was to seal the hole up so now I have a freaking snake in my wall somewhere. I am soooo scared it will find a way out. I hope it dies.
Gotta go, Lara is cracking it. Sorry for the lack of personals.
-
wow leigh, I would be crapin my dacks!
Sorry we havent been on lately either. The girls have just gotten over nearly 2 weeks of the flu/gastro, so its not been pretty! we are doing muc the same. Bec is cruising the furniture. Am hoping shes walking by her 1st bday. I cant believe how quickly a year has gone! We are also officially ttc. I am off the pill and ready to go!! Am trying to sway for a boy still, so lots of charting and stuff.
Hope everyone is well, take care
-
Melissa - so exciting you are ttc, hope it doesnt take too long. Did it take long to conceive your girls? Hopefully you'll get a boy this time. I am hoping Lara will be walking before her 1st b'day too. She turns 11 months on Saturday. I just put Lara to bed and she is screaming in her cot. She is hyped up coz DD1 has been mucking around with her. Hopefully she'll settle off to sleep soon!
We're going away this weekend. Will be Lara's 1st trip on a plane. We're going to visit the inlaws. Not looking forward to spending a whole weekend with them  Lara is teething and they don't understand what its like with a crying baby. FIL has already organised with DH to go out fishing so I'll be left on my own with MIL being driven nuts. They aren't helpful grand parents at all. Don't have anything to do with our children at all really. Our kids don't even get xmas/b'day presents or phone calls from them. Ok enough of that. Sorry a bit of a vent there.
-
Oh Leigh, I rmember you talking about your PIL....good luck. Maybe go out somewhere so your not so stuck with her! I dont know what I would do, I would probably put my foot in it as I have made my MIL cry a few times (she just doesnt understand me ;)) but at least they are nice!
We are excited about ttc. Olivia took 9 months and Rebecca took 2 cycles. I have been off the pill for this cylce and am waiting for AF to show up ( she would have been due yesterday if I was on the pill). No chance that I would be pg this cycle though. Hopefully it wont take too long. I do want a little boy, but either way...
Just relaxing for a bit the off to bed... just watching RPA and have seen the twin girls born at 32 weeks....ssooo cute..cluck cluck!
-
Hi girls!!
Eww Leigh, yuck about the snake, hope it's out by now. I'm not actually scared of snakes (we had a pet python a couple of years ago) but can't say I'm keen on the venomous ones, lol - good luck with that!!
Mel - how exciting that you're ttc!! Sending lots of 'blue' vibes your way - can't wait to hear the big news when you do fall!! xx
Well, we've had our stint at Tresillian and OMG, Sienna is sleeping :o  :leap:
We only got home on Monday, but since then Sienna has slept 11&1/2 hours every night, with two day sleeps of approx 1&1/2 hours. I didn't hold out much hope when we got there, and I wasn't prepared to let Sienna scream herself to sleep (which is what everyone told me happens at Tresillian), but luckily that's not how the nurses work, it's all about giving Sienna a chance to learn to go to sleep on her own, and therefore resettle on her own if she wakes after one sleep cycle.
So praise the Lord, I'm actually feeling half human again!! Here's hoping it lasts :crossfingers: !!
Still not sure that I'm ready for number two tho  Think I'll wait til Sienna is about two.
Sienna is so close to getting her top two teeth, I can see big white bulges there, they're just yet to break thru the gums. She's walking everywhere while holding on to our hands, and she cries when you put her back on her bum to crawl, so I reckon she'll be walking before her first b'day too.
Wow girls, can you believe our little ones are almost one!! That means our belly group has been running for over a year and a half. I wonder how all the other girls are going with their bubs, it's a shame that not too many have been able to stay in touch.
Umm, not much else has been happening for us. Our house is moving along - we're building the second storey frame now which is very exciting. Our current neighbours are so freaking noisy and the dogs around here bark constantly so I can't wait to move. Hopefully we'll be in by Xmas.
Anyway, that's my long saga post - I sure make up for it when I havent been in here for awhile
Take care xx

Morning Ladies!
Leigh - thats not cool about the snakes inside! We live in town but got one snake in our yard last year but Mum and dads farm that my horses are at had 15 that they killed last year! Yuk. I actually like nskaes alot and have had a few pet snakes.
Melissa - I have my fiongers crossed that you will fall ASAP!
Melly - sounds like Tressilian worked wonders!! Excellent!
As for us Bella is still rocking on hands a knees but prefers to be standing and can take a few steps so I think walking will beat crawling!
Still sleeping 12 hrs plus per night and 2 -3 day sleeps. Dropping back to 3 bottles per day as she sure loves her food! Eats pretty much everything and what we eat as well so its getting easier!
We will be TTC mid next year as we need to wait for the Paid maternity leave comes in so we will have bub early 2010 - still the way the times flys we wull be starting in no time!!
Hope eveyone else is well!!
Kate

Hello, hello, hello
Melissa - Wow... TTC, so exciting! Goodluck :goodluck:
Skyeblue - Glad to hear work and mummying is going well. I work a couple of days a week too and I LOVE it.
Leigh - sending you strength for your ILs trip
Melly - Hooray for sleep. And what a clever girl you have there holding hands and walking with you.
Kate - hello, lovely to hear about Bella too.
Harriet is a constant delight even though she is crawling around everywhere and getting into everything. We can't believe how much she loves to eat but she's still quite a small little doll. She particularly likes to eat DS's books which is annoying  We just turned her car seat around yesterday. She has two bottom teeth now and so sign of anymore coming anytime soon. BFing and sleeping is really random, sometimes she sleeps all night, sometimes she wakes a few times to feed. AF made an appearance for me yesterday too. It was a bit of a shock actually, I don't know why, I should have been expecting it. It's just another step away from being pregnant and having a newborn baby. It's all happening too fast!
-
Hey ladies, long time no speak!
Thought I'd pop in and see how all the November mums&bubs are ;)
Cant believe it's almost been a year!!!
Well my little man started walking this week, it's all very exciting.
DP and I have decided to start ttc number two.
What are your plans for bubs 1st bday? Themes?
Mini- good luck with your ttc journey!!
Take care xox
-
Hey Kylie...good to hear from you. Good luck to you too, how exciting, hope it doesnt take too long. Not too sure what we are doing for themes....I dont think we had a theme for dd1s 1st bday, but we did for her 2nd...elmo! I dont think Bec will be too worried about it somehow!
Mel- glad sienna is sleeping for you, sounds like things went well
Kate- i envy you with 12 hours sleep a night...neither of my girls sleep well....wanna swap? Good to hear Bella is doing well, sounds like she will be walking soon
rachel- harriet sounds like a delight. Good to hear she has a health appetite...they love munching on books! Becs been forward facing for a while now and loves it. I hear you on af returning...are you not having anymore?
Us- all good here, Bec is crawling, standing and cruising. She can climb steps but cant climb down them...so lots of bangs and crying! She has a big egg on her forehead and a red scuffed nose from her sister giving her love cuddles on the step and pushing her over. She fell flat on her face...ouch! She has 6 teeth now and is madly chewing her fingers.
anyway better go ....am watching hey hey...good to see it back on!
-
Hi All :D yeah I know I'm slack
Sounds like everyone is having fun with crawling and teething bubbas. We have crawling but no teeth yet. Can't be too far away!
Melissa and Kylie hope your ttc journey is short and sweet :goodluck:
Leigh OMG at the snake :o
Melly that's great about the sleep!
Rachel I so get that and it will seem like you've blinked and they're at school *sniff*
Rubes is a bit sick ATM with a cold so she's a bit of a grumble bum. I've had a little velcro girl for 2 days now. Never seen so much snot come out of a little person! She still wants to do her usual stuff like hang out in her brothers room and hassle the cat so she's not too bad
-
Hi Girls, yeah I'd love to have another one but DH is adamant that he's happy with two. Anyway, I'm not going to talk to him about it because he'll just dig his heels in and get annoyed. When Harriet is 2 we'll have a really good talk, and a really good think, and we'll make a decision then to either go for the third or DH will go for the snip. But yes, he doesn't know anything about this plan of mine yet
Wow - Misskylie, your little man's walking! How exciting!
Mel - yeah, the bumps and scrapes, we have them here too (although DD is nowhere near as bad as DS).
Sam - aww, love hearing about your gummy, snotty girl.
-
Hey all, thought i would come in and see how you all are. We had a horrid few weeks with with gastro, teething and then Olivia started behaving very badly out of boredom. All is back on track for the minute now, Bec is sleeping better, Olivia is behaving better and I am feeling a lot more positive!
Rebecca is doing well. She has 7 teeth, crawls, cruises and uses the push walker toy to get around. SHes a climber too! She climbs on the mini trampoline and bounces, then can climb up on the couch! She doesnt have many words, just mumum, dadad, nanan, bibi (thats her sisters nick name...Olivia calls herself bibi...not livy!) shes mainly on one sleep a day but sometimes has a cat nap. I am still giving her 3 bottles a day and solids....shes pretty good with food....
I am toilet training Olivia so we have been busy too in that respect. Shes doing well and its great only having one in nappies, although shes in a pull up over night...will do nights with consistantly warm weather.
Ok better go and dress the girls.....wondering what the next few days will bring. DH is away til Sunday...miss him already!
-
Hi everyone
Havent been here in aggges. Hope everyone is well! It does sound like all the bubbies are doing similar things.
Mia is great, she is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up which is so cute! She is still sleeping not the best, usually up for a feed once or twice a night.
Eating LOADS during the day and loving finger foods.
I'm planning her birthday party, it will be a ladybug theme.
Mel, I'm glad Im not the only one with a baby who only has one sleep a day! And sometimes it is only 1 hour!
Did your DH tell you I saw him the other day at work? ;) Sorry to hear he is away til tomorrow night, must be hard as a temporary single Mumma!
Anyway off to get a much needed coffee, was up at 5.45 this morning.
