Yeh all is ok.... just a few issues have rose with bub and me...but all will be fine... just working thru them.
i too was wondering where you'd gotten to! hope everything is ok and works out for you, keep us posted :hugs:
Hope everything works out Kim *hugs*, i asked a few days ago how u were going but u must have missed it!
Tara - i too feel like a human tissue ive had to change my top so many times!!
Talked to Kim today, she's a bit down about baby and all. she seemed a bit cheerier by the end of our chat. i'm sure she'll be fine - i know i'd be finding it hard being 5months pregnant with a 5 month old baby!
Thanks Tara :)
Things are going okay, think I've got a cold & Jovie has picked up on it.
OH Kim - Big hugs. I cant imagine how tough it would be for you right now but i'm sure you are doing well and providing the best for both bubs. Dont forget to pull favors from family and friends (i'm sure they would love to help)
Christy - the sniffles are going around arent they!? Get a bag of oranges and scoff them down - always helps me :)
Tara - really good of you to follow up with Kim. There's nothing like a friend who calls you when you're a bit down to just listen to you rant...
Hand up here too for being a human tissue. Ella threw up twice yesterday. I gave her some yogurt and pear as a little snack. As usual she only had 3 little spoons of it and she was shut for business. For lunch she had sweet potato and beef - i stuck the spoon in her mouth when she wasnt ready and she threw half of it up. (but finished the other half) Then later in the day she threw up the yogurt. Strange...i would have thought that would have been digested already...maybe it takes longer to digest.
Ella's got another rash on her face (around her mouth and little patches on her face). I think this is from her scratching her face and then smudging food all over her face - she loves doing this. I sometimes find food in her ear! Anyway time to break out the paw paw cream...
Ann
hugs kim - like Ann said pull in favours from every one...try and get some time just for you.
lol tara at the human tissue.
hope you are feeling better soon christy. it is definately getting colder here in QLD...it was 7 degrees this morning! thank god it doesnt stay that cold all day!
How's your beautiful baby girl Sophie going AJP? all better now?
well I'm not doing anything today, except phone calls. The house needs tidy up, but it can wait til tomorrow...
I think i have a cyst on my ovary though...my right side is so sore...which means I will have to have an ultrasound...hmmmm,,,,maybe if i ignore it - it will go away???
dont you dare ingore that vicky!!!, hehe so i sound like your mum!!! best to get that checked out love!!! leave the house, tomorrow's a new day!!
Sophie getting better slowly, her chin is stained blue from the demazin! the amount of snot i have sucked from her nose is amazing, just wish i could blow it for her!!!
I know I should do something about it...I'll see how I am in a couple of days, if the pain gets worse I'll go.
Its horrible isn't when they have a runny nose, and are all congested, and you know a good blow would do the trick. it takes ages to get them to learn to blow their nose. Laura used to breath in...lol...
I know you have probably already said this, but have you started sophie on solids again yet? I still havent gone back to giving aston food again yet...
Vicky thats a gorgeous photo. Pics always look better in black and white hey!
Hope everyone's slowly getting over these sniffles. i think i can finally take the wedge out from under her mattress - it makes her roll all over the place!
Does anyone else find that the afternoon nap is always the worst? It's like the gap between the lunchtime nap and bathtime is too long to not have another nap and i know she's tired but geez! she plays and rolls over and gets her arms out, throws the dummy and sucks the sheets. by the time she finally goes to sleep it's time to get up for a bath anyways! i put music on today instead of the mobile so i think she thinks it's all on!
I find the afternoon nap is the hardest for Emelia to sleep she always takes for ages to fall asleep but shes really tired...i am constantly going in and popping her dummy back in and tucking her in again as she thinks its fun to kick all her blankets off and pull her mobile down!!!
same blanche! whats with that. after 45mins of trying i decided to save myself the heartache and get her up. she can just have an early bath and bed
i have to admit i've been very lucky with the sleeping with sophie(probably just jinx my self ) she goes down pretty easily only lasts 1 1/2- 2 hrs up then back to bed, but arvo is definatly different to mornings!!
evie had bath and feed and fell asleep feeding, so she's in bed super early but shes asleep so i guess thats all that matters. i just hope that means she wont be up at 4am
thanks taralee - I love black and white photos. DH and aston had some professional ones taken last week, so when I get the one and only we got ($!!!!165) I will copy it and you can all see it.
well off to watch telly with hubby.
take care
Vicky - love the photo as well. He has a really grown up expression in that photo.
Ella usually sleeps for 1-2hrs during the day. She's up for 2hrs inbetween naps so she's tired by the time she goes down for the next one. i wake her up if she sleeps beyond 1.30pm and then she's back in bed by 3.30-4pm. If its any later she wont go down easily.
Ann
well we actually had an okay night. she was really unsettled and woke up quite often until midnight then i gave her a feed at she slept through to 5:30 then back to sleep in bed with us until 6:30. dh took her then and i got a sleep-in! wow!
