Oh Tara...layer the nappies! I always have more fights with DH when i dont get enough sleep.
Blanche - They are funny little things. Ella now laughs at toys she never took an interest in before.
Tonight was a night of firsts...
For dinner tonight Ella had 10 CUBES!!! she just kept eating and would cry when i stopped so i kept reheating and spooning more food into her.
In the bath i discovered her top tooth has cut through (explains the tears earlier in the evening)
And then at bedtime she self settled. I sat with her just incase she needed patting but after 30mins of foot thumping she drifted off to sleep.
God i love her!

Yep if you use sposies you can get pads to put in if you don't like yours in you babies nappies. I often will put one of Matilda's nappies on Jovie at night for the extra coverage.

It seems like everyone's sleeps and feedings are getting better and better! Jake is getting better and only woke once last night and that was when he due for another dose up. Poor little treasure has a little husky voice and when he cries it is so cute but heartbreaking bcos his throat must be so sore!
One of his top teeth has cut through and I think the one next to it isn't too far away! And he has started eating again although still only wants finger fruit for lunch and still is of am and arvo tea.
Oh *hugs* to you Tara - i hope things got better.
Mondays, Wed am and Fridays are best for me, but can do Tuesdays during school hols. The non party sounds great too Christy!
Guess what!! As you may all rememeber my sister had her little baby girl Josie on the 4/7 znd I have no chance of getting down for a while to see her - $ etc - but my wonderful sweet husband rang me yesterday and told me he has organised to take next Tues off work to look after Jake so I can fly to Sydney FOR THE DAY to see Dee and Josie!! AND he has booked it on points so will cost next to nothing!!
My day will hopefully stay this great - hope everyone else has a good one too, and had a good night sleep.

Aston slept so well last night. I'm a very happy bunny. He woke just as we were about to go bed, but that was because he had done a poo - probably as he was going to sleep earlier. so changed him, and he went back to sleep. stirred at 3.30, and went back to sleep quickly, and then I fed him at 5.30!! then he went back to sleep til 7.00. Laura and nathan have been happy because they have seen their mum each morning this week. And I'm feeling sooooooooooo mcuh better. have more energy then I have had in ages. God lack of sleep knocks you around. Still going to go to the doctor on Monday, need to get the BSL checked. It could also explain why I have been such a moody cranky b!tch....

I've always wanted to be a spec ed teacher but my career took a different turn but am considering studying while Jake and number 2 (whenever it comes) are pre-school.

How exciting Ann.. Chelsea's 2nd bottom tooth is trying to cut thru and its been a nightmare.. so unsettled, screaming and wingeing. Not sleepin to well. we never had this much trouble with her 1st tooth :( Hates Bonjela this time too....
Other then that everythin going great!! Even better...we are STAYING in Victoria now!!!! WOOHOO. Craig and i talked it all over and i just didnt wanna go.. so now im working on my own thing, as with him!

well i've been MIA, my brother's visiting from Perth so we've been chillin'.
I used a babylove nappy inside her huggies nappy and havent had a prob. which is funny because whenever i've used a babylove nappy during the day its always leaked. so thats one problem solved.
i got that check-out chick job at aldi and it seems they're willing to work my hours around when ben's home so i dont have to put evie into care or anything. another prob solved.
next prob is that i cant seem to express bm anymore, so am having a bit of a panic about what evie's going to eat while i'm at work, i dont have a lot of frozen bm either and she's not on solids either. Can i perhaps try her with a bit of formula? what do you guys know about that?
one of our friends has gone into property investment broking and such and has said that if we move back home with ben's mum and dad, rent our house out and buy 2 investment properties then ill be a millionaire before i'm 30. but we so love where we are....now that i type it it seems like a no-brainer but we just keep tossing it up, so i dont know.
sleeping seems to be going better. i'm up probably 2 or 3 times a night...which is better than before. Evie hates her car seat at the moment, yesterday i pulled over twice to comfort her before getting my bro to drive so i could sit in the back with her. she worked herself into such a state that i got her out of her seat and cuddled her while we were driving along. i dont know what the go is there.
anyways, thats pretty much everything on my mind at the mo. this is really just a venting post, sorry :cry:

That's great Kim, you must be feeling a whole lot better.
Tara you may be having problems expressing because your stressed about it.. if that makes sense. I got myself into a state recently when I was having to go to court for my big kids, and needed to have some EBM, and just wouldnt let down. It wasn't until I relaxed about it that it started happening again... just a thought. Congrats on the job, and glad it fits in with your DH's hours etc.

Hi everyone else...
ASton had his first swimming lesson this morning, and loved it. He was funny to begin with - sticky beaking around at everyone in the pool, then got into it. Went under teh water without any fuss. It was friggin freezing this morning though. not it the pool, that was great. but out was yuck. so I hope this cold weather disappears reall soon! He is so funny at the moment, trying to crawl, rocking on his hands and knees, and getting really really cranky when he goes the wrong direction. He "tells" me all about it...lol
Hope you all have a good weekend, we have a very full one planned here, so I will see you next week I think....
