hmmmmm am getting clucky
mmmmmmmmm me too!!!
*hugs* Vicky :( :(
Thanks you lovely ladies - i wish i relay to you all just how timely those hugs were. on top of everything that has been going on with my Kids - my mother has decided to put her twopenneth in, and kick me a little more... far out - what is going on?? Just got a terse email from her too.... so over all of this...
ok - mantra - what doesn't kill me makes me stronger - what doesn't kill me makes me stronger....
no - i haven't gone stark raving mad - trying very hard not too... you know how when you as person start to fly, and good things start happening for you, after a period of not so good times - that people around you get P!ssed off about it and try and bring you down... I think that's what is going on at the moment...
Enough ranting and raving from me...
Kim - any movement at the station yet??? I haven't had a texxt from you yet...
Blanche - I can't believe you are 10 weeks!!! your nearly a third of the way!
Nelly - thanks for the group hug, I felt it I really did :)
Gigi - mother guilt... I am queen of it!
Christy - what's going on with you?
Ann - Is ella putting on weight now?
Jols- I'm ok... just treading water very fast
Tara - thx for your text - was driving when I got it.
I hope I haven't missed anyone - sorry if I have.. :)
well i have decided to close down my online half of my store :( just cant do it any more :( i had a problem with something i sold and it has tipped me over the edge, so no more!! i gave it ago but just have more important things to worry about than keeping everyone happy.
VICKY hope everything sorts it self out for you, grrrrrrrrrrrrr to the ex and hugs to you and your beautiful family
Oh Jols *hugs* it must have been very hard to keep up with it too, we love the bib we have here, just gorgeous!
Vicky I hope you get some reprieve matey.
Us... well Miss Jovie will NOT sleep. During the day I spend hours trying and she spends hours fighting it. Usually she will collapse, yesterday it wasn't until 3pm though... today she fell asleep in the car at 9.30am!!! But woke up as soon as I parked the car :(. She is taking hours to get to bed at night too now. And waking once or twice, man its exhausting. Finally Matilda sleeps well once in bed, and Jovie doesn't. I hope its some developmental thing because I'm over fighting sleep & then whinging for hours about it.
Oh Christy I hope you have a good night. I've found sleep phases come and go and change so often that i cant even keep up. Hang in there, it'll pass..they always seem to
Vicky remember that we're never given anything to deal with that we cant handle :)
Jols - sorry about your online store, i'm sorry i didnt buy anything from it :(
I was reading a story today about milk banks and how there;s one in perth and the only other one is in a private hospital on the gold coast..so i was thinking maybe i should do it. i am a cow after all...
Oh that sounds interesting Tara. I'd give it a shot.
Christy - you poor thing. Its a struggle isnt it when they dont sleep. Its not like we can reason with them.
Vicky - you've had such a bad run of luck. Sorry to hear your mum's being a pain. Family can be blunt sometimes (even if they mean well). Haven't weighed Ella for a while so i'll let you tomorrow as we're heading out to find a dress for a wedding.
AJP - any side effects from eating the moth? They're a delicacy in some countries!
Nelly - GOD what a scare. Is he OK?
We'll we had a good day. Went to our march and shouted and ella grizzled for the cause. She didnt eat very well as we were on the go the whole time and i was shoving food into her mouth as we were walking. She was constantly grazing for 2hrs.
She's started kissing me which is really cute. She kisses my chest and leg (dont know why) but its a soft closed mouth kiss. ahhhhh
Ann
Ann what were you doing up at 1am! goodness me! Can't believe Ella's is 11 months! I just wrote to a friend today that Evie will be 1 next month...i nearly died!!
Excuse me but 8 HOURS LAST NIGHT!!! holy cow!! Sorry, Christy i'm not trying to rub it in, believe me, i am just so chuffed that we're getting more than 3 hours at a time! only downside is that once she;s awake at like 3/4 she doesnt really want to go back to sleep so we've been up at 5 these last couple of days. i put a pillow and blanket on the floor and go back to sleep and she plays for a while but gets pretty sick of it. I only blocked out one window yesterday cos i didnt think much light came through the other one but obviously i was wrong!
Kim - any news yet?....well, i guess if there's was you wouldnt reply to this post anytime soon!
haha. I thought id have a nap yesterday at 4 and that meant i couldnt get to sleep.
Yeah it's hit me too. I cant believe i'm orgainising her first birthday for next month.
Ella slept well last night. She was completely upside down when i went in to check on her. For a baby that isnt crawling she sure gets around her cot!
On Wednesday my manager asked me if i wanted more kids. Of course i said yest. Then he asked me to give him a date of when i'd be pregnant again!!! i said i didnt feel comfortable telling him since it would affect his plans for my position.... In the end he said "oh right well I guess its a personal thing but make sure you tell us when you are pregnant" - Like What -the-h3ll!!
Ann
How rude is ur manager Ann!
Glad Evie slept well for ya Tara...wish Emelia would its been months since she slept through :(
Christy - hope u had a better night?
HI all!
Yep ann he is ok - lucky he only chewed the end of the box - it irritated his lips a bit but that was all.
Well we had an earlier bed last night - by 6 - and he slept until 630 which is totally unheard of! But in the middle of that he did wake at 8 and 1030 screaming. THe first time was I think because his curtain was blowing in the breeze and second time no idea... night terrors? I just dunno....
Christy if you want to go and paddle at pandanus beach give me a yell - i just have to do the grocery shopping today. Not sure what the tides are doing tho and the kiddie could be paddling in mud - not that they'd care!
Hoorah Darren is home from Sydney I miss him so much when he is away.
ohoh Jake took a step on his own yesterday - just one before he fell down - like what Aston is doing I think VIcky.
Kim how is the bubba? I still have 13 days before I win the guess so hang in there! Is is stinking hot your way bcos that makes it soooo much worse.
*sigh* looking at how quickly your pgs are going is making me really think baout no 2. mentioned it to DH and he said shame you have to go throuh the whole pregnancy tho and it takes so long! WTF?!? Like he does anything???
oh nelly that would be great!! But ah... its DH's birthday & I've just dropped Jovie & Matilda at FDC and we are going to Sirromet for lunch!! WOO HOO!! Its a beautiful winery set on a rainforest... lovely.
I'd better jump in the shower. Last night was okay, I slept through her waking up & DH gave her a bottle for me. She slept until 5.45 which is the best this week....
I'm so sorry you guys are having trouble with sleeps Blanche and Christy. I really really know how you feel. I put a pillow and blanket on evie's bedroom floor and sometimes just a 10min power nap can do you the world of good
ooh Christy am very very jealous!!!!!
Luua - yes, the people of Burma have put up with so much, it's amazing the difference the internet is making to their cause, i'm so glad about that. I keep hoping that the democracy leader under house arrest, i can never spell her name, but i hope, just like Nelson Mandela being in prison for 27 years, then becoming President, i want that to happen to her in Burma.
Great to hear improvements in sleep for some of you. We got up to five hours last night, from the usual four hours in the last bit. STill the usual two hour gaps before that, but at least the long one was five. so i'm grateful for that.
bilbs said dad da for the first time, her first words! last night. Great that she said them while big sister was visiting too. They get on beautifully. Esp considering big sis sleeps in the nursery, so we have to put on the light when changing bilby after big sis is in bed, and she doesn't complain.
Vicky, if you wanna vent about your mother/MIL, i forget which it was, go ahead hon!
Padding at the beach sounds idyllic, haven't done that since the summer of 06/07! Last summer i was too unwell with c-section dramas.
Enjoy the lovely winery Christy, sounds so idyllic.
What has happened to your webstore AJP? has something happened that i missed?
Yes, if i could sew, sewing would be a very good use of time! I'd love to sew one of those reversible smocks/pinnies for bilbs in some funky fabric. Appplique a bilby onto it (if i had a clue how to even do that!!!)
Nelly how is your dishwashing tablet eating bub doing? wot a scare? Glad for you Darren is home now. I cannot imagine parenting on my own (although i'm sure you adapt when you have to). Congrats on Jakes first step too, that's great!
It;s sexual discrimination under the EO legislation to ask an employee those questions LUAA. your boss is being illegal (how unusual, under this new climate of IR laws). This is all reminding me of living in Thatcher's Britain of the late 80's. i went there on a working holiday, and found it frightening how little rights the workers had, silly me though Australia would never be like that.
i'm not finally over the gastro i think, 4kg lighter and able to fit into clothes i thought i'd have to get rid of! i might as well enjoy it while it lasts! i'm sure i'll put the 4kg back on now i can eat again. 4kg seems quite a bit to lose to me, but it NEVER goes off my thighs!!!!! grrrr.
DH is having his first sick day in about 7 years!!! went to work this morning but started to feel sick, has the runs so i told him to come home which he did, so i have tow babies today to look after, funny how we have to keep going but they go and curl up in bed!! men hey, whimps!!!
tara glad you had a great night last night!!!
christy enjoy your lunch mmmmm wine!!!
Im ok and fine, just dont wish to contribute anything.
