Vicky - Moving is such a pain. Hope it happens quickly for you guys. Rain rain go away...
Christy - how you feeling now? Can you have chicken soup? dry bread is part of the problem i think blahhh..
To all the pregnant mummies...CUDDLES.
Gigi - how are you going hun?
We are all good here? only 23 more days of DH's course. My dad called today and said he's been wanting to choose a Chinese name for Ella, which will be lovely. Cant wait for him to choose one. My Grandfather chose mine...its a tradition. ;)
More walking and shuffling. Its so cute - she holds her own hand when she walks. She keeps laughing! and falls.
AF gone today. Very short this month...2 days.Hmmm
-
hi ann - that is so cute ella holding her hand and laughing. clever little girl. very sweet your dad wanting to choose a chinese name. do you speak chinese, and do you speak it to ella?
Christy - hope you feeling better soon hun.I so get you on the whole fatigue thing... i feel perpertually tired - no make that fatigued. if i was tired once I had sleep I would feel good, but sleep doesnt solve it.
gigi - are you ok hun? havent heard from you in a while....
taralee - started nesting yet?
blanche - how's your bambino's going?
Jols - how many days til testing???
Nelly - hi girl... the water receded, but there is no driveway, only big holes, one of them over a metre deep, so there will be no way I'm getting out anytime soon. they had better fix it by tomorrow though, i am supposed to look after olivia, and the $50 will be missed if I can't get there! not to mentioned the hassle it is going to be for anna. sigh.
maybe us having to move is a good thing - at least in regards to access! if i needed an ambulance they could NOT get here. no way no how. ridiculous. if they had fixed the driveway properly then it wouldnt be a problem AGAIN....
sorry, feeling slightly peeved!!!!!
Kim - saw you latest photos on facebook. Jasmine is getting so big!
-
Hmm indeed Ann, sounds like a cheeky AF. Thats beautiful that your dad is choosing a name, i cant wait to hear it too!
Kim, thats pg brain for you!!!
Need some advice on what to do to break this bad habit i've gotten us into, and its starting to drive me nuts;
Evie was sleeping through the night until around 5-ish, so i'd bring her into our bed and she'd go to sleep for another hour or so. Anyways, now she's decided she'd like to wake around 1230-130 and come into our bed then instead of waiting until the morning. I've tried rocking her back to sleep but the minute i put her back in her cot she rolls over and gets back up again. this can go on for as long as i let it before i have to give up and bring her into our bed.
my back and belly are just too sore to stand or sit there for so long fighting with her. So i am totally out of ideas :(
-
Tara, we've taken Jovie back into our bed in the middle of the night now too. Its just easier on us. I hope that when she gets over this phase she will go back to sleeping in her bed.
-
Right so day i go to the chemist to buy my morning sickness tabs...and they have SOLD OUT....seems that everyone round here is UTD and chucking too.....so the chemist chicky says to take Travel Calm and B6....see how we go this time!
Thanks Vicky...Jasmine is getting a big boofhead indeed....and Chelsea just isnt growing but looking older at the same time..LOL
Tara im no help with sleeping....Chelsea doesnt wake at all until 730-8am. Although is getting a PITA to get to bed....she wants to play..but as long as she isnt crying..i dont care!!
Ann lovely about the name idea...whats your chinese name? What course was DH doing...im a bit slow and must have missed that bit!
Hows everyone today Christy?
-
Good to know I'm not the only one Christy. I'm hoping it is just a phase and not a habit. Her 4 eye teeth are all coming through as are the two either side of her two top front teeth, so i guess thats always an issue
Evie did a wee on the potty tonight. Proud mummy moment!
I took B6 when i was pg with evie and it did help, actually Kim. have you also tried the crystallised ginger? you can just chew on that all day, its a bit blech at first but kinda refreshing and it does help.
-
WTG Evie....you should be proud Tara..Chelsea uses her potty as a play toy..LOL
I took my Travel calm and B6 today...helped a bit...so thats good.
Oh Chelsea says 'kite' now...which means quite. When i put Jas to bed i say Chelsea we have to be quite shh...and she yells out 'Kite mummy shhhh'. Such a character now...and everything is 'mine mine Mine'.
We are waiting on top eye teeth..bottoms are through!!
Why we all so shhhhh in here??
Jols any news yet?
Gigi where are you...?
Nelly hows the Tupperware...what car did u end up getting?
Vicky hows the driveway going now?
Christy are you all better now?
Blanche hope the move went well and your busy unpacking...feel for you!

loved shoes, loves putting them on!
sick of the TWW temps look good, but that doesnt mean anything, will find out soon!!
-
Still so sick, going to go to the hospital soon as I've not been able to keep anything in. I'm dehydrated so need to get some fluids into me. Just waiting for DH to drop the girls off at care.
-
oohhhh no christy  to you, hope they pop a drip in, you should feel better soon
-
Ohhh poor Christy! Hope you're feeling better soon, those IV's work wonders though!
That's so cute that our toddies are talking so much now. I thought Evie would be saying a lot more words by now to be honest but she really doesnt say much at all. She'll nod or shake her head. and says mumma, dada, go car, nan-nan, and then there's ba which means buzz (the cat), ball, butterfly, bird, bath....but thats only because i know what she's saying...i know she takes a lot in and i can always see her thinking, and she's quite the problem solver...but no words!! oh well...can't force it i guess!
-
Christy get better really soon..i hope the drip helps.
-
kim did you get any early pregnancy signs this time? as in before you tested?
-
This time i got lots (TMI) CM about a week before AF was due, Migraines started (true pg thing for me), tired (very), went off food and Craig said my boobies were gettin huge and he also commented how hot vag was when DTD...(LOL soz...but he did...) and he reckons thats how he always knows im preg before i test. I still got all the usual pre AF cramps so i thought she was coming...but nup!
-

-

Hi there November 06 Mamas! I am just getting into these forums and Kim suggested that I come and join y'all - if thats ok! A bit about me- Im 28, married, live in Melb, my little boy Lior was born on 13th Nov - right in between me (5th) and DH (22nd)!! He was born big and has stayed up the top of the charts since then. He's still bf, and i think he wil be til he leaves home! LOL not really but he's still a big fan - anyone else still bfing? So AF is due on Wednesday and I am waiting for it- I have a funny feeling Im preg! My boobs are rediculously sore, thats the main thing.. but we'll see!
Hope I can get to know you all!
Lana
-
Jols charts mean nothing to me...ill take it as they are good ones!! Sorry :(
Lana yay...you joined us! I think one bub (maybe 2) are still BF. Gigi's lil girl Bilby and i think possible Christys little girl Jovie?? Aww...another with a mystery AF.....she isnt allowed to visit some ladies in here....!
Ill tell you a bit about me:
Im Kim, 25 married to Craig. I have 2 DD's, Chelsea (29 Nov 06) and Jasmine (26 Oct 07) and BumbleBee (bub #3) is cooking and due 8 Jan 09! I to live in Melbourne :D
We are the best Baby group on the whole of BB...and very supportive..enjoy!!
-
welcome lana - and I'll second Kim - we are the best baby group :)
bit about me - i have three children, 12 year old Laura, 9 year old Nathan and 18months Aston (Aston and Chelsea share the same birthday!) There is a big age gap, because Aston was a little surprise resulting from my 2nd anniversary with DH - he was in the uk for the first, waiting for rescidency to be granted. My big kids are from a previous relationship, but for all means and purposes, DH is their dad.
I live on the sunshine coast in Qld in the beautiful noosa hinterland. I BF aston til he was 13months, when he weaned himself. I miss BF though... i think because he is my last bub. I'm the old duck in this group - I turned 38 in January, which I'm still coming to terms with
look forward to getting to know you better...
-
hi, i have no idea why my daily email digest from this thread stopped arriving in my email box, but it did, and i dun fell off de perch.
Vicky, you are not the old duck, i am, i beat you by two years.
bilby is on the tenth percentile, got our first Feeding Clinic appointment next Wednesday. Where i get grilled by four health professionals about what she does and does not eat. i am dreading this. it all blurs into same same for me.
dh and I are not in a good way (relationship and every way possible wise).
feeling too worn out to even get excited (like i normally would) about those of you who are pregnant right now. my cluck o meter is out of fuel i think.
-
 Gigi I really miss having you around & I'm really sorry to hear things aren't good atm.
Welcome Lara! Jovie has just self weaned :( last month. It was really sad because my milestone was 2 years. We didn't make it.
Jols I'm with Kim, I can't do charts :dunno: BUT I'm keeping everything crossed for you!
Me... well I got fluids yesterday & am feeling better. They want me to go for an endoscopy to make sure its nothing more sinister than gastritis. BUT Matilda was up all night with stomach cramps... so it could be viral? I went to the GP today for my referals for the endoscopy etc and she thinks it could be a tummy bug going around which has triggered gastritis in me. She's seen heaps of gastro with cramping pain associated so it may be that which has caused more cramping & gastritis with me than gastro.... once again :dunno:
-
glad christy your feeling better!! hope the sickness leaves your family!! you guys need a break!
welcome lara sophie finiahed up feeding when she turned 18 months by me, had had enough, she was only have one prior to bed, i felt the time was right to stop!
-
Christy there is quite the gastro virus going around at the moment, i know of a few struck down with it down here. Glad you're feeling better though, sorry Matilda's not :(
Gigi - sorry to hear you and DH aren't doing so well. IS there anything you feel you can do, or is it beyond it?
Jols- i don't do charts either sorry. LOL i tried doing my temp before i fell with evie to get a bit of an idea but i was so slack..i test myself at 5am one day, 12 the next, forget for a few days then 4pm lol but sticky vibes to you!
Lana - hello! welcome to our group!! a bit about me - taralee, 25 married to my lovely dh - together for 10 years and married for 2. DD evie is the 'baby of the group' born on the 30th, which i am proud to say was an all natural water birth which i am hoping for for baby number #2 (pink or blue?!?!) which is due in 8 weeks, but since i feel like my giny is about to fall out - i'm hoping will be sooner! Live on the Gold Coast in a house we built 18mths ago and can stay in! after many tears and broken hearts thinking we couldnt afford to yaddayaddayadda...lol so thats me in a nutshell (no, this is me in a nutshell..how did i get in here? lol austin powers anyone?)
BTW evie weaned herself from day feeds at around 10mhts old and night feeds around 11months

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcomes- I apolagise if it takes me a while to be up with all names/babies/stories but I'll do my best!!
Well I think I put last time that I suspect that Im preggers, well i had a BFN two days ago and have decided to hang out til wednesday to test again! Yikes the not knowing is a killer isnt it?! I found out with Lior at 3w5d. I actually havent felt much different for the past two days so maybe its all in my imagination? We'll have to wait and see. We arent TTC but arent NOT trying.. iykwim!
DH has taken mini man off to visit Nana this morning and I am playing music really loudly and trying to peacefully do the housework (I know what a way to spend 2 spare hours) but sadly I am quite enjoying it! Lior has been super clingy in the last few days and only wants to cuddle on the bed and bf, not too sure whats going on there, a tooth? a phase? a new baby? tee hee.
Well I better get back to it now Ive finished my cuppa, my mum is coming over this arvo then we have covered all obligatory family visits for the weekend and can have a nice public holiday tomoz!
Lana

welcome belly bean, i hope you find out if you're preg or not soon, put you out of wondering.
even getting housework done - uninterrupted - can feel good. you get it done so much quicker.
AJP - i want to hear ALL ABOUT the sex in the city movie - how excellent - hope you have a great time.
KIM - four hours daysleep - that's amazing, is CHelsea ok? like i REALLY wish bilby would day sleep, but if she slept for four hours, i'm so nuts, i would prolly worry "is she sick or something?" (to sleep four hours). crazy, i know.
TARA - looking forward to seeing your photos from the party
-
I'm gonna start a new thread now :D
Here it is!
