Happy Birthday Zander.
now who is Xander? i'm confused
Happy birthday Chelsea for tomorrow! I am behind the times, did you get robbed Kimbaz?
AJP - dh has given 75% of ONE year's tax return to accountant (06/07). if this return is not filed and finished by 12 December, i will still be nearly $6,000 in debt. So it's not quite over yet. I believe it when it's done and my fine is a zero balance.
THEN there is the next tax year to get through (07/08). That is another debt on TOP of the $6,000. I am just waiting for dh to tell me, he's too busy because of xmas or some other twaddle, to get that one done.
Christy, how much family day care or child care have you got the girls booked in for? How does Matilda handle having carers? I would imagine, right now, going to paid work would be a relief from having Matilda be upset many hours per hours. I cannot imagine how hard that would be. Huge hugs to you. I remember you saying the tradeoff for moving to Sydney, would be having to work more hours. Have you found wardrobes yet? So much to organise when you move house, let alone states. blimey, that's huge.
Have all the brissy girls on here managed to escape serious storm damage? i hope so.
we went to a xmas pageant today, bilby was so serious, observant of it all, i thought she would be bopping away, but all the noise, excitemetn, colours, i think was a bit overwhelming for her, and this was only a surburban one, not the huge one that is held in the city each year. It was really well done, and unlike the huge city one, we could actually get a good view, still be in shade, I was very impressed, we'll def go next year too.

:happybirthday: Happy 2nd Birthday Evie :happybirthday:
Hope you have a great day sweetheart!
Gigi no we were not robbed, our Visa debit card was used in 3 fraud transactions over 2 days on Monday and Tuesday taking $1500 over our money. As it was a debit card it was OUR money...and not credit....so we were left with a little over $500 to live on until mid December when some more money comes in. Now the banks are saying mid February until our money will be returned as its being investigated BUT are putting the blame on us because my card was ment to be suspended but i never called them so they unsuspended it...and as a result....let these transaction go through (took place in Portugal, London and Italy).
Also Gigi Xander is SJ mumof2's little boy.....Zander is Nicola's little boy...
Chelsea is better today....still got a snotty nose but the Panadol must have helped her....poor Jasmine is still very sick. My throat is on fire.

Happy birthday Evie!
Thansk for reminding me! We got wardrobes! There's a positive!!
I have no childcare for Matilda, nothing is available until January, then I don't want to have 2 weeks in a new place to only have to readjust when she starts school, so no childcare. She isn't able to go to a centre at all because of the sensory issues... too loud. Family day care is perfect & we are on an emergency waiting list, but nothing is around.
-
bugger christy
yay on the wardrobes though!!! how exciting, did you find some funky ones?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVIE

Happy Birthday Evie and Chelsea!
Well we have had a grand weekend with Aston's party on Saturday and we end up staying up the coast Fri and Sat nights so was really noice. Am peeved we had to leave early to come home so DH could play cricket but we still had a lovely time while we were there.
Back to big bed routine for Jake tonight and although it is a bit of a battle I am glad that our battle are just those niggly things like waking up to get into bed with us, fuss eating and the cold he currently has - I feel for you Christy! Jake gets a bit fussy and the world is suddenly crashing down so it helpd to be reminded that there are families REALLY struggling out there with REAL behavior issues not just 2 yo antics and tanties. My heart goes out to you hun xxxx
Christmas and birthday time has been and will be a bit tight around here too - we have decided just not going crazy with presents. Jake is only 2 and won't realise if he gets 2 gifts or 2 hundred and we have a few bits and pieces that we have picked up over the year. Am looking forward to some family time too, and time without cricket lol, and I actually still have some of the 1st birthday pressies Jake was given sitting at the top of the cupboard so am recycling those this year lol. It will be nice not worrying about if I have bought enough gifts for once - we have decided to just have a noice lunch, maybe with friends and fam maybe just us, and to relax and enjoy eachother. A few day trips to the beach maybe - just nothing too rushy planned or stressful.
How is everyone else planning to spend xmas?
-
kim we've probably spent a little over $100 for sophie for christmas, she's getting quiet a few things but there not expensive and some are second hand!!
nelly sounds like you had a lovely few days!!! how did astons party go?
christmas this year is in melbourne with my family , we alternate going to albury, just lunch as sophie wont have had a day sleep so will be feral by dinner time.
ive made the pudding already and will also make the custard from stratch
kim rebound congestion is from using nasal spray, you can get if after 1-2 days of use! makes you very very blocked up, my nose is completly closed!!
-
gosh Jols and Christy - judging by your avs you two will be having quite a saucy xmas ;)
Aston's party was great - the kids all played was nice to catch up with some of V's friend and fam I have met before and I think it was a nice bit of stress relief - if only for a few hours. He is such a funy little man - into everything and chatting away. He had a ball - as you should for your 2nd birthday!
-
very saucy indeed!!
gald the party went well!!

hi everyone. sorry I have been so remiss in birthday wishes... so belated happy birthdays to Xander, Zander, Chelsea and Evie. I hope that they all had a great day, and that the mummies did too. Aston's birthday party was good - I know that he had a wonderful time. Me - I drank a few glasses of bubbles to get me through! The day didn't particularly start off well due to the antics of my sister - but I pushed it aside, and didnt let her ruin YET another important day in my life. I was so tired last night that I was in bed by 8pm, and sleep until 5am - first time in ages that I have had nine consectutive hours in a row of sleep. so I felt pretty good this morning.
Nelly glad that you had a nice time at the hotel. Hopefully sometime soon you and I may actually be able to spend sometime together on a monday whiel the boys are at daycare. how novel would that be??!!!
-
The girls wont be getting much for Christmas here. A trampoline, some play doh, clothes, some blocks and im trying to find them a smallish pool. Christmas will be much the same as last year...very quite, no family. Our friends have asked us over to spend it with them (Chelsea's god daddy) and his partner, so we'll probably go there. Maybe luck will be on my side and i'll go into labour!!!
-
then you will have a child born in the eleventh month, tenth month, and twelveth month Kim.
We are having a quiet christmas too. just me dh and the kids.
-
We have a huge deal for Christmas, we are a bit over consumerism so a few years ago we put a budget on our Christmas spendings....
$60 for each person in the family and then 1 large present for the whole family. Last year it worked really well & our big present was the trampoline. The year before it was a cubby house... now I know that seems like its for the girls, but its also for parental sanity... so its for the whole family anyway
This year we got a few vouchers for Myer given to us... and we are getting a... Wii!!! More for us than for them ;) but in time they will use it too.
$60 seems hard to keep too, but its good having a budget like that. We got the girls some retro dolls from ebay, 1970's dolls called Crissy dolls. I made some extra clothes for the dolls for the girls stockings. In their stockings they will also get some texta's, stickers, and colouring book. There was something else I've already bought them... but I can't remember atm.
But not much! Our parents have each bought them something, so there isn't a lack of pressie ;) We are going to wrap each controller for the Wii separately, one for each of us and that will make it seem like more.

I know V... Oct Nov Dec AND 06 07 08 baby :p
-
DH and i have bought ourselves a new camera so nothing for us, we do KK with both families so $75 for mine and $50 for his so its not too bad!
