Kim we posted at the same time - hope you are feeling better hun. Maybe a trip to the hospital wouldn't be a bad idea?
If this keeps up i think it will be a good idea....i just dont feel right. Im so scared and absolutely petrified right now.
have you called your dr / midwife / hospital and see what they think? Make sure you try to keep up your fluids too.
Things are quite atm.....yeh my stomach is sore but no pains, vomitting or loo trips....probably cos nothing what so ever left inside to come out
sounds like your emptying out kim!!! one more to empty!!!
vicky wow you have a teenager :o scary!! hope you have a lovely night out with your little lady.
dont worry about the dummy, we only stopped the thumb due to the dental damage.
sophie is now counting to 10!! will our prompting but still.... proud!
learning her alphabet too!!
no day sleeps but this is due to the thumb, so have been working on implementing a day 'timeout' which involves an hour on her couch with bottle of milk watching tv, not ideal but we both need it!! she has to wait for the buzzer to go off!! wich me luck!!
GIGI wow hun im glad you;ve decided to leave DH, its obviously for the good of your and bilby. wish i could help out some way
nelly bad night hey!! hope it wasnt the curry!! no more dreams ;)
not with you in them jols ;)
:o i hope not
no - because they have me in them instead LOL!!!
 awww V now jols will be jealous
had to bump us back to the first page!!
we had to call the cops last night as we had a strnage man sitting outside our house for around 2.5 hrs last night!! on his phone, we think he was using so unsuspecting persons wireless internet as we could see a screen in the darkness, bugger must have had a ploice scanner though as he buggered off just as the police came up the rd.ggrrrrrr but i swear i have seen him before
gosh jols that's a abit scary! I am amazed at the number of people who don't have security on their wireless internet!
tell me about, going to go see the neighbors later
just made a pav for the bbq we are going to this arvo! I want to bake something else and daggles just told me I don't have to bake to be useful and gave me a big hug. I haven't done housework for a while so he could have been narky and told me to put my energy elsewhere.. I'm just feeling a little lost looking for something to do but in reality there is lots to do - if that makes sense!
awww nelly - he is lovely. You can bake up a storm for me if you like - there is enough people in this house to eat it all!
:hi: I've been uber busy with work & my mum coming out from the US. I'm exhausted all the time & stressed with stuff. I'm here though!!
Nelly, I totally get it. I get into my cooking & baking so much that my house looks like a dump half the time, but we have really good food!!!
christy I love your new av! Or is it old and I have only just noticed.....
well Jake played musical beds last night his chest is giving him some botherance - from his to ours, so DH went to sleep in the spare room, Jake kept tossing and turning so I told him if he didn't go to sleep he could go back to his bed - so he got up and trotted out! I thought wow that was easy. Then he apparently got in with DH, then told DH he wanted to go back to his bed so DH tucked him in and thought he had gone back to sleep. I woke in the middle of the night with DS snuggled into me so I have no idea when that happened - left him there he was all snuggly and not feeling right I don't think. So DH and I are tired, DS has gone to daycare today (yay) so I have a to do list amile long to do - which doesn''t include wasting time on the computer so I really should try and be disciplined .
Tara how did the first day of solo care for you go? Sorry brain is fuzzy and I can't remember if you already posted. Hope Evie went well and you had a lovely day with Chino.
Christy I meant to ask how is it all going with your mum over here? Hope there hasn't been too much extra stress on top of woking huge days etc.
We had a curry last night with friends over. Yummy. Got the girls bouncing around.
In our house:
- Ella still has the dummy and is still in love with it
- No potty training as I cant run after her with the potty so we'll wait till after the babies come
- Havent baked for ages. Missing it. A pav sound delicious hmmmmm... i wonder if i could beat those eggs lounging on the sofa. LOL
- Getting our room organised for the bubs. Kind of feels like nesting. But we've got at least 6 weeks to go.
Kim - Did you manage to speak to someone about what happened? its awful feeling scared this close to the DD.
Gigi - Are you alright? I read your post (probably missed a whole lot) you said you were leaving DH???
Vicky - Laura is such a beautiful young woman. You must be so proud.
Nelly - How's Jake's peepee? has the UTI gone?
Me? I'm off to the physio today to see if there is anything i can do for the pelvic symphysitis its killing me!!!!
Ann
hi ann! wow just looked at your blog Ella is just beautiful!!! Your tummy looks great too in the Hamo pics - glad I'm not the only preggo wandering the beaches in a skimpy black bikini ;)
Jake's penis is all good now - we just need to make sure when he is playing with it he is gentle and also we've been putting sudocream on the end to make sure it doesn't get all red and dry again. Poor wee man!
gorgeous pics as usual ann!!!!!!! you can and are excused from cooking!!!! rest up as much as you can, i hear you on the pelvic pain!!! major ouchies im seeing an osteo!
vicky how did lauras dinner go?
Thanks guys. Mummy and daddy got a new camera for xmas ;)
SO hot today. Little portable air con is struggling. Luckily its just me at home and I dont have to run after Ella.
Yeah Vicky how was your dinner?
Nelly - tried wearing something to cover the belly but it just annoyed the cr@p out of me so i walked around proudly in my black bikini. Ah who cares. I wouldnt do it now though i'm huge and would probably scare most people on the beach.
Ann
Ann, i think you look beautiful in your bikini. that ladybird cake for Ella's 2nd b'day is amazing! did you make that? how do you get red icing?
So many classic pics of Ella, what fun you must have taking her photos.
i'm still real estate hunting for somewhere to move me and bilby. it feels like it's taking forever.:wall:
i had an altercation with a knife on saturday night around midnight. Four hours later i get out of hospital with four stitches in my left index fingertip. very ouch. very tricky to change the nappy of a wiggly toddler who doesn't understand why i have a huge bandage on my finger that i am meant to keep dry, clean, not get it banged by flailing limbs of said wiggly toddler.
when i realise she has done "business", she denies it like all heck, i have no clue why. she's not in trouble, but will NOT admit to having done poo in her nappy. The tt-ing is going pretty slow.
i totally get why you would delay Ella's tt-ing when you're heavily preg with twins! i would too. maybe i'm trying bilby too early, i dunno. she's so late with everything else, i was hoping this might be ONE thing, she could "catch up" with.
Christy - how is the visit (your mum) going? i can only imagine you are EXHAUSTED!
Kim - how are you feeling?
Gigi, we aren't even near TT Jovie atm. She screams when she gets near the toilet, so I will wait another month and try again. Matilda TT wee's only at 3 (which I know is late) and poo's a few months after. Her sensory issues are in hindsight why she didn't TT well, so I'm glad I didn't push it. Jovie said she had to do a wee yesterday when she ripped off her nappy  so I brought her to the potty and she screamed no and then I put her on the toilet and she screamed no, so I put the nappy back on and she wee'd.... so I reckon it will take a while longer.
I don't know if you read the post in the nappy section but I had a similar incident on Christmas Eve. I wound up getting it fixed up at work, the specialist surgeon (vet) wanted to put some stitches in but i convinced him to use tissue glue. I still don't have any feeling in one part of my thumb though.
oh dear - cut fingers every where!
Gigi - don't stress about the TT - it will come. Do they put bilby on the toilet, potty at daycare. At aston's daycare they do, and I know he has success when he comes home with lots of stamps on his arm lol. in the catalogue I sent you (did you get it?) there is a potty book for girls. in it there is a star sticker chart, and obviously a story all about using the potty. I have been reading that to aston, and using the sticker chart. some days he is keen as to use the potty, and wants to wear undies. other days - a very clear and decisive NO is uttered for undies. Just relax hun.
I have put photos on Facebook of Laura's birthday dinner. It was wonderful. and you can clearly see from the photos what a wonderful time she had. for all of you that have daughters, I really can't recommend enough getting the book Celebrating Girls: Nurturing and Empowering Our Daughters: Virginia Beane Rutter It is brilliant, and a wonderful source of inspiration for anyone who wants to mother their daughters differently to how they were mothered themselves.
vicky we have that book too, using the sticker chart now as well!!
christy and gigi hope the wounds heal quickly for you both
ann what camera did you get? santa bought us one as well!!
Santa bought us the Nikon D90. Takes gorgeous shots well worth it considering the Twins are coming soon too.
Gigi - I'm sorry to hear you're moving out. Good luck finding a place. Its near impossible to find one in Sydney.
The Lady bird cake was a masterpiece from my MIL. I think lots of red food colouring went into it and black licorice spots (which ella nibbled off).
Thanks for the compliments on the bikini. I am absolutely huge now. People stare at me at the pool as if i should hide away. Oh well. Not long to go.
Ella denies she's done a poo as well (sometimes) i think she wants to hang onto it cause she made it (gross i know). Once we start i think we'll also use the star charts too. She would be into stamps and stickers.
Ann
Ann I forgot to say that I think you look beautiful!!! I spend most days at North Curl Curl beach and yesterday there were 6 pregnant women, all large and all in bikini's!!! You can come to the Northern Beaches and be fine ;)
awww thanks Christy :)
The weather definitely calls for lying on the beach. Its 35 here already. Just went out to water pot plants and now i feel burnt.
Going to have another shower now to cool down.
Good news. The brace the physio gave me for the pelvic symphisitis seems to be working. Am in less pain today. So of course I decided to wash all off ella's 0000 size clothes and get busy.
Been doing my budget for 2009 - depressing. But Hey we get double baby bonus!
Jols - wanted to ask if you took Sophie to the dentist to find out about the thumbsucking. I know you're a dental nurse but I'm wondering if i should take ella to the dentist about her short top teeth. I'm sure its the dummy that's stopping them from growing properly but I dont know if its now causing permanent damage.
Ann
Yesterday I was incredibly blessed to be at the birth of a good friends little girl. It was the most amazing experience, and I'm still buzzing. I feel so honoured to have been some small part of it, to be able to massage her back, play with her daughter, chat to her husband, and spend an incredible day with them. if any of you ever have the opportunity to be a support person for someone jump at it.
I got home at midnight last night, and went and kissed my children, and thanked the universe for allowing me to be their mother.
Wow where have i been?!?!?
KIM....ARE YOU AROUND?!?!?!!? Has Bumblebee made his entrance?!?!?!?!?!
i have read everyone's posts and got hungry thinking about Indian...which we had last week!! LOL
V - I hope Laura had a lovely 13th, that time is going so fast! but i'm sure i dont need to tell you that!
Gigi - how's everything going with you leaving? how's your dh....whats happening?
As for TT - evie was going really well, had it down to a fine art in just a matter of days and just recently she's totally reverted. doesnt want to know about it - prefers to stand on the carpet and pee and cry rather than sit on the potty...*shrug* i'll leave it alone for now.
She's also gone backwards in a lot of ways actually
- wants her dummy all the time
- incredibly restless at night
- asks for cuddles non-top
all this started before kindy tho, which she loved BTW. I'm pretty sure it's all due to the last little bit of her eye teeth coming down.
Just went and had my hair done and am now starving so am goingto go and eat while kids are asleep.
hope everyone else is well...so not much in the way of personals....vision waning lol - no food all day will do that
have you been on holidays taralee? c'mon spill, i wanna hear ALL about it! (so i can live thru you and pretend i went on holiday too LOL).
i haven't found anywhere to live yet (sigh).
dh is about to drive interstate to visit his oldest DD. (hasn't seen her for 6 months). will come back on the 19th. so it's just bilby and me, and my sore finger (with four stitches in it) for now. hmmm.
kimbaz - i wonder if she's busy HAVING bumblebee!!!
vicky - how lovely to see a newborn being born!
lol sorry gigi, i just meant ive been 'gone' from posting for so long...nothing much exciting going on here...lol but i do often daydream about going to a tropical beach somewhere, getting massages and pedicures, having ****tails brought to me while the kids play happily in the sand....feel free to join in on my daydream...i'm there a lot lol
hey girls I have poste some of my preg pics I had taken on my facebook page if you are interested
nelly could you post some in the gallery here?? i dont do facebook!!
tara i'll join you on that holiday only if the waiters bringing the ****tails are buffed and topless!! oh and no kids!!
ann we got a cannon EOS something  its black!!
thumbsucking, my boss took a look for me, i knew she had some dental damage to her front teeth but hadnt noticed the crossbite she was getting. hence why we needed to stop.
with ella if her front teeth are shorter due to dummy, it wont affect the adult teeth as they will still come down all the way, if that makes sence, theres not much you can do about they mbeen shorter as baby teeht except give away the dummy, even then she may just have smaller teeth, can you get me a close up of her teeth??
ETA thanks nelly!!! GORGEOUS photos !!!!!! you look radiant!!
Nelly! - Woowoo! sexy mumma. They are great shots. I wish i had them done too - such a great idea.
I wouldnt do them now as I wouldnt fit in one shot!
Jols - I'll try and get a shot for you. The Canon is a great camera too. We also thought about getting the one you got.
Kim - where are you? Have you popped?
Had another scan today. Both babies are growing well. Each about 1.6kg so that explains my sore pelvis. I think singletons are 1.3kg at this stage???!
Ann
Still here....2cm.....had a s&s today.....bub is baking til he is just right.
oh Kim thats a great attitude! Cook away little man :)
I have to think pos Christy.....for the last 3-4 days ive been having some severe panic attacks and i just have to try keep calm and optimisitic....he will come when he is ready....cos i know im more then ready!
I had an aatack at the hosp today and the middy and OB were great, calmed me down and i was right again. Generally at night they hit pretty bad.
urgh I had horrible anxiety attacks at night when I was pregnant with Jovie. It was horrible.... do you use rescue remedy? Its a herbal concoction and I found it helped.
I have some of that somewhere..but im not sure where :(
Had another attack eating dinner.....argh.
Loosing alot of mucous with blood now....not sure if its plug, show or what....LOL
Oh Kim that is sooooo exciting!! I hope it's all happening for you!!! s&s's worked both times for me!!
makes me want to have another.....no no!! hush my mouth!!!!
