oh joy Jols. I hope that you have some helping hands around.... hands that will cook some dinner, vacuum the floor, do the dishes, and even play with miss sophie - not sit on the lounge having cuddles with your bambino!!
Hope tonight was a better night.
I have had a great afternoon evening, at suttons beach with Nelly and co for her birthday celebration. It was yesterday. It was lovely - aston ran, and played cricket, and football, and swam, and did it all over again. Nathan did the same - no wonder they both crashed in the car on the way home.
well, i hope i don't jinx things by typing this, but, i think i might have a TT'd bilby.
she has only used ONE nappy per day, for the last two days - and that was a night nappy each time. the rest of the time, she is in knickers. no accidents.
she has gone from "a few hours a day, doing wees only in potty, too hysterical to even contemplate poo in the potty, must have nappy on for that" - to "knickers all day, asking to do wees and poos in the big toilet with the insert on it. not even the potty now. Even Big Toilet at shopping centre.
So now when i put her in her carseat, she's in trainers (cloth trainers with enough absorbency to take one wee). At home, cotton knickers.
Friday for childcare, i look in the wetbag - ZERO nappies to wash. SHe had the same pair of knickers on all day (seven hours). Even though i worry she will not be able to find an adult to help her, each time she needs to go, (with clothing and balance), no accidents in seven hours.
i am in shock.
bit sad to say goodbye to our lovely mcn that has served her so well. i realise kids do revert, so i won't get rid of all of it, but even so, it's the end of a chapter. and i do feel a bit sad.
Very exciting to hear about Mae, Hanna and Millie.
Happy birthday Nelly.
Love the new avvy Vicky. you spunky chick!
How are you healing up, Ann and Jols?
Are your visitors helpful ones? (been watching taht BRINGING UP BABY tv show, what a shocker). No, i don't expect Ann and Jols will have had time to watch telly, that was more of a side comment to the rest of you!
Christy - have you handed in your resignation yet?
Happy Birthday Nelly!
Congrats to you Gigi!! Good job and well done, of course too, to Bibly! What a hurdle. Evie could not be any less interested. she was going well, now she doesnt want to know about it! oh well!
How are all the new mummies? Jols remember to sleep when you can!!! Its a killer!!!
Ann - i cant even imagine trying to work in naps around twins...and a toddler!!! hope you're looking after yourself as much as you can!
Great job on the weight loss Blanche!
Chichi's waking up every 45 mins to an hour at night so not a lot of sleep happening here. He is crawling and pulling himself up to stand so i know its just a phase! he wants to do it all the time yadda yadda lol i wish my kids liked to sleep!! hahahaha
Hope everyones well!
Love the av's gigi and vicky - need to put some serious thought into mine after the RAK was bestowed upon me ;)
pulling up already tara :o scary!!
sophies been a pain today and timeout dont work in this house....sigh...
Jols we had a couple of those days last week where our normal discipline just wasn't working, Jake was literally growling and was not my normal child. Do you know what it was? I had bought some Ribena for him to try bcos it was on special. I cut it out suspecting it may be the culprit, it took a couple of days but as soon as it was out of his system he was back to normal! That however prob has nothing to do with what you are going through but thought I'd share it!
I am having my first child free morning in absolutely WEEKS!!! My uncle has offered to start taking Jake to his kindy gym classes on a Wed morning which I leapt at the opportunity! These guys IVF'd for at least 10 years with no success and I just love seeing them with Jake. It's such a small thing compared o having your own child but I try to let them have as much time with him as they like... and it helps that Jake idolises his uncle Wayne!
Hey! I just noticed on my ticker when I posted that I am 30 weeks today!!! yay!!!! Time to start the RLT soon! Jols when did you start your acupuncture and herbs etc?
wow nelly 30 weeks!!!
i think sophies problem was lack of attention! though she always goes silly after bath time.
i started accupunture at 30 weeks as it was prior to chrissy, then weekly from 35 weeks, herbs started at 35 weeks, i used RLT between 30 and 35 then didnt need to as i had the herbs!
im still having accupunture as he is trying to get my blood levels back up!
:hello:
i'm here - but so incredibly busy. not much time for anything on the computer other then uni work. but I wanted to say hello to you all.
taralee love your avvy... you are smokin!!!
gigi - :cheer: on the toilet training Bilby. aston went through a period of being intensely interested, and has gone off it now. which is ok. He is at daycare 4days a week now, so I am sure that is going to help as well.
Chirsty - how you going hun?
Blanche - new name? ;) congrats on the weight loss. wish I could factor in some time to lose weight... sigh... would like to loose about 10kgs....
Nelly - wow about the ribena! makes you wonder hey about other foods? cant wait to see you next friday.
Kim - how you doing? How's that little man going?
Jols - how you going with being a mumma of two little ones?

Hey girls!! Sorry for being MIA. I've been lurking, but with issues with my Mum and with dealing with the kids and stuff... life has taken a toll on me lately.
Ann, I've checked out your blog site and I'm so in love with your children. I'm in Sydney, on the Northern Beaches so we will have to catch up sometime!
Tara Chichi sounds pretty amazing... Matilda was doing that at that age too.
Blanche well done on the weight loss!
nelly & Vicki  I miss you girls....
Me... well I did quit my job and I took a different one to the first interview... long story short it will be the easiest thing for me in the world and I can't wait.
We are in brissy this weekend for a wedding, but on the plane yesterday I felt my ear get yucky and it turned red & hot and only popped 5 hours after we landed. Then I felt crook and this morning I woke up with laryngitis  it happens every holiday I go on. I think life has been so crazy that the minute I can stop and take a deep breath... whammo... I get sick. I'm on antibiotics and am pretty cranky about it because the wedding is at a winery. So I was going to try to organise and see people, but now I can't, I'm too crook. I am going to rest up big time.
HUGE  christy. I miss you too. xxxx
Zachery is 7 weeks old today. Chelsea being a huge handful. Jasmine is getting to be a devil. Im a cranky moody AF returning moody cow right now.
MIL is on her way down..flight lands in 50 mins and im counting every second until she arrives.
oh kim. get all the help you can.
i'm trying to keep it together. not much sleep here. Hana seems to have painful gas. Both are growing well tho. cant wait for these first few months to be over. ATM BFing every 2-3hrs in the day and every 3hrs at night.
Ella is doing well wihout mummys attention.
:(
