Well V is nolonger on formula, she is now on cows milk, and pediasure for the extra protein. If you can believe it, she took the change to cows milk straight away, I sort of was expecting a bit of a whine, but no problems at all. Heres hoping the change works in V's advantage for the weight gain.

csab - thats great that V took to cows milk really well - we are doing the half formula and half cows milk thing atm with B and that seems to be going well!
where do u get pediasure from and is that recommended for all bubs going on cows milk?
Oh and B is back to waking in the middle of the night again and taking ages to settle back down!!! any other bubs doing this???
Hj - Not sure if it is recommended for all babies, as it was V's dietician that recommended me use it for V along with the cows milk for the extra protein, V is a very fussy and light eater. As far as I know you can only get it from the chemist. How long has it been since you started cows milk with B?
yep HJ. Dunno what has gotten into Mia, shes taking soooo long to go to sleep this past week. Have to go in about 4 times to settle her before she gives up..
Thanks for Lara's birthday wishes girls, we've had a great day. Swimming this morning then we came home and opened presents, after lunch we had a little cake for her. She is now sleeping, its been a busy day for her & playing with all her new toys. She got spoilt.
I am having problems with Lara waking really early for the past 2 weeks or so. She's been waking at like 5:30am, its getting light up here early. But coz her and Cadence share a room Lara wakes Cadence so then I've got two kids to deal with at that time of the morning when I am tired and cranky. Lucky Cadence will usually go back to sleep but not Lara. It's driving me nuts.
I still haven't started Lara on half cows milk half formula yet, I will do it this week.
csab - B has been on half half for a week now - sometimes when she drinks all the bottle that i have made up and she wants more i just give her plain cows milk and she has been fine with that also! still will only drink it warm and out of a bottle! wont drink it out of her sippy cup!
MM - wow i wonder what the go is? When B wakes up in the middle of the night she is full on screaming too not crying - and it takes AGES to get her settled again! and than she is up at around 5am these days also! im missing my sleep! is this normal to u know?
Leigh - wow i bet Lara did get spoiled! lucky girl that she is! ur not alone with the early get ups! we are up around 5am with Bianca!!!!
Forgot to mention we had a little party for B on the weekend - went really really well and she got heaps of beautiful presents! Can't believe soon my little girl will be joining all the bubs in turning 1

Leigh - Thats great Lara had a wonderful b'day. What a busy day she had.
HJ - I only just started V on Thursday last week. So they have started pretty much at the same time on cows milk. What clever girls we have. You know,V has also been up a bit longer since last week, she has been trying to fight sleeping then just get cranky as she is over tired. It doesnt help that DH has the light on when I am trying to get her to sleep, as when she sees the light on she wont sleep. Once the light is off, she will then accept her bottle and sleep. cheeky thing. Scared she is going to miss something.
Just thought I would let you all know, V's new words are Up, and copies me saying ohhhhh.
Any more new words from your bubs.

Julian's new thing as of this morning is clapping, I was changing his nappy this morning and he just started doing it.
Cows milk not having much luck here, I've been trying a bit in his cereal and it has been giving him the runs, so will hold off for a bit longer. He is still enjoying boobie milk so doesn't really need it yet.
