Hey all - glad to read that everyone had a great Christmas!
We did, Hayley was very spoilt and got some lovely toys, clothes and books.
We had Xmas day at DH familys house and lets just say Hayley didn't get her normal sleeps thru the day and therefore was quite unsettled that night. Why do people think just because her eyes are open that means she is wide awake and thus needs to be picked up and played with??? ggrrrrr..... i know they all just love her and want to be with her but it sh**s me.
anyway, vent over for now.
I'm so impressed with the bubs who are sleeping well thru the night. Hayley at most will do 5 hours in between feeds, but luckily she settles again really quickly during the night so i'm generally not up for more than 45 mins or so.... but i did secretly wish that Santa brought me 8 hours sleep!
Off to get Hayleys immunisations tomorrow morning.... hope she and I cope OK!

lachlan finished a stint of 6 days without a poo on the 23rd, when he finally did one it required a shower for both of us. then he did another one on xmas that required a sink bath lol. now they ar back to being manageable. but holy moly.
on xmas lachie had about 3 hrs of sleep all day. i fed him at 7.30pm and he went to sleep at 9.30, i tried to wake him at 11(by changing his nappy and talking to him and sitting him up) but he was totally not intrested in me at all, so i decided just to put him down and wait for him to wake up, well, that was a bad idea, he slept until 8 so by the time i got up and went to the loo it was 8.30. it had been 13hrs since his last feed and my boobs were so so sore!!! oh the pain:)

I can only imagine the pain you were in....
Hayley has just gone all day today without a poo which is very strange so i'm trying to imagine the carnage you must have faced after 6 days! Kate i hope tomorrow is more of a normal day for you and your boobs!

PJ day went well today - both children had a nice long sleep (though Harry's was this morning and Emily's this afternoon).
Harry is still a really spewy baby - anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if it's something I'm eating? Chrissy chocolates maybe?
NYE - We've been invited a courtyard party at a Japanese restaurant in Pyrmont - sounds lovely but the logisitics are a nightmare. So we'll stay local instead, they do a family evening with fireworks at 9pm at the local park. We'll take a picnic and rug along to watch the entertainment - should be good fun!

Woohoo - another megasleep from Caitlyn last night! 745 until 2!!! WOOHOO Was fantastic! Maybe this is the routine she will settle into ?! I wish! Her norm is every 3 hours and I think she is quite content with that. Dont know what happened yesterday to make her sleep so long....she napped during the day. I put her down at 430 for a nap though and thought it about time I grabbed some lunch - dropped the knife on the floor and woke her up! She didnt go back to sleep! Maybe thats all she needed. But she wasnt over tired when we put her down!
Anyway - jsut a thought......is everyone a member of the BellyBelly group on facebook??? Would be easy to add everyone that way....- just a thought....

Tahlia had another good sleep last night - from 9.30 to 5.15, then from 5.45 to 8.45. I just put her down in her bassinette awake (still trying the self settling), and i just peeked at her and she is asleep - let's hope she stays that way for at least 1 hour!
Question: I was planning on going to the gym this morning, so I expressed some milk for her feed so DH could do it while I was gone, but she has now decided that she doesn't like EBM from a bottle... does anyone have suggestions on how to get them interested in the bottle?
