Oh, what a relief Willow! I forgot you were getting that done today, I meant to wish you luck :) How did L cope with the scan?
Saffi - It might be worth getting L checked out, but I suppose if it isn't really worrying him and he doesn't have a temperature or anything then I wouldn't be too concerned. Can't hurt to make sure with a GP though.
Mo - That's so cute that Maddi loves peek-a-boo! K does too, but it makes him jump. I put him in his swing just before and would kiss his foot when it swang towards me and he thought it was hysterical! I love baby giggles.
ETA - Hi Amber! :hello: How's Myles going for you?
-
Hi everyone!
Well yesterday we had a lil adult time yay! Dh and i saw a movie and my mum walk around the shops with myles! It was so nice to have just a couple of hours without having to worry about the lil munchkin! I did miss him though!
Saw the health nurse today and he has cracked the 7kgs! Last week he hadnt put any weight on so was so glad he had this week!
have been feeling better to, which is a relief! I was so close to getting a straight jacket:)
Anyway will try to get back later for some personals but i have to entertain the boy!
Just saw that I have hit over 500 posts! yay!

Seems like a lot of the babies have a Bumbo now, great they all enjoy it.
Willow that's great news.
Amber glad your doing better.
Trish how cute, Maddi also likes that.
Maddi is booked into for her ultrasound on her kidneys for Thursday.
I know everything will be fine, just have to make sure after her UTI.
-
Maddi good luck on thursday! I am sure your lil kidneys will be fine!
What do you do when you have your bubs in the bumbo? Am still a little undecided if we should get one?
x
-
Where oh Where has the quick reply gone?????? I miss it!!
Hmmmm..... all this talk about Bumbo, might be having to get me one too. Can all you ladies see yourself using them for ages? Or is it really only a til-they-can-sit-up kinda thing? im undecided too....
Willow - That is FANTASTIC news! I am so happy for you! What a relief!!
Amber - So glad you and DH got some you time. Makes the world of difference hey??
Mo - Fingers crossed for little Maddi. I pray everything wil be fine for you!
Nerida - Poor Lachlan!! Hope he feels better soon!!
GUESS WHAT??? Chels rolled this morning!! Yippee!!! Now, already the minute I put her down, she's at it again! LOL
God I am currently being sooooo bad!! So much for diet! My firend popped over this morning with chips for lunch and a huge choccie muffin!!! It was asking me to eat it.....
-
Becky-Yay for Chels rolling.
Amber-i brought a fisher-Price music thing(Trish will know what's called) & i sit Maddi in front of that and she plays with it.
The other thing we were/are going to do is hang some toys from the ceiling & let her play with them that way.
Thanks Amber & Becky :)
-
Becky - yay for Chelsea. It amazes me how once learned they get the skill down so quickly. I wish it would take me that little time to learn something new.
Mo - I am sure Maddi will be fine, but good luck for Thursday.
Willow - great news about the scan. Know it is a relief for you.
Amber - glad you are feeling better. Everyday is different isn't it? Way to go Myles on cracking 7kg. Going to the clinic tomorrow to weigh L - think he's going to crack 6kg.
L had a 3 hour sleep over lunchtime. I was very industrious and chopped up the ingredients for dinner and put my new stick blender to use and made Peach Yogurt mousse.
Re the Bumbo - it says that it can be used until 14 months, so I expect that it will be a seat that L can use as he gets older. At the moment we use it when we want to keep him stationary and it is too hard/impractical to use the bouncer. Its also more portable so can take it with us when we go to people's houses etc. Its not supposed to be used on elevated surfaces.
Never used the quick reply so don't miss it LOL.
We are off on holidays in a couple of weeks (yay.....). Anyway, we need to get a portacot for L as the hotel we are staying in wanted to charge us $210 to use theirs for the week! Does anyone have any recommendations on a lightweight portacot?
Brissy girls - are we due to have our next meetup on Wednesday 5/3 or should we make it before or after Easter? Maybe Hyperdome so Viv can make it??
-
Nerida I think we should just keep it at the first thursday of every month? so that would make it the 6th? And we would be meeting again on the 3rd april if that makes sense and is ok? I cant do wednesdays! Good luck at the clinic hope he cracks 6kgs!
Yay Chelsea for rolling your such a clever girl!
will bbl Myles is calling for a feed! x
-
Amber - Thursdays! Thats right! Blaming the mummy brain. 6/3 is fine with me.
-
Yay!
Yup first Thursdays good! We doing Hyperdome this time or Garde angain? Guess it probably depends if you think you can make it Viv????
So waddaya reckon Amber, "To Bumbo or not to Bumbo?" LOL
-
Morning all
Think we had a good night - I don't remember getting up at all, the first time being 4.30am! Last night I fed him at 9pm and he stayed up until about 10.15pm. So maybe keeping him up after the feed makes the difference. I'll try again tonight and see what happens.
L "fought" with me from 5.30am. He just didn't want to sleep, didn't want a bottle and was generally grizzly. I gave up and was prepared to let him cry it out as he was getting overtired. DH suggests that I feed him. "No" I said "already tried that". Anyway he goes gets a bottle ready and what do you know but the little sod drank it and fell asleep! I love how he makes a liar out of me. Hopefully he will be down now for a few hours as I feel like having a little bit more sleep.
Got to go and make DH his lunch before he goes to work.

Morning all!
Got another chiro appointment this morning. K is doing so much better now, but I still want him checked over again. He's still not 100%, but his day sleeps are fantastic!!
Good news is we sold my car last night! The new owner is bringing a cheque around today. We had so much trouble with our mechanic doing the roadworthy. What should have taken a day took over 3 weeks! We ended up having to go to someone else because the original mechanic refused to help us anymore. It has been a very stressful time! We got my car back finally on Friday and by Monday it was sold, woohoo! I'm enjoying driving my new Camry around now, I've never had a brand new car before so it is still a novelty! DH & I are very money conscious (ie tight @rse ;) ) and have always driven old cars, luckily he gets company cars now so we can live it up for a while lol! If he ever leaves his job we will be back to bomby cars again, so I hope he stays there forever hee hee!
Saffi - Wow, what a great night! Go Lachlan!! Where are you going for your holiday? Re: portacots, unfortunately there aren't really any really light ones around. It is still way cheaper to buy your own one then hire one at that price! I have portacots, but can't post them because they are too big, I coulda done you a deal!
Becky - I think Bumbos are good to use as a portable feeding seat when your bub gets a bit older. I won't be getting one though, I got through without one for Joel! Yay for Chelsea rolling!
Mo - Good luck with the u/s for Maddi on Thursday. I'm sure she will be fine.
Julia - Sounds like Max is wired to wake up early lol! Did you try give him a dreamfeed again last night?
Amber - That's awesome you got some bub-free time! It feels so weird doesn't it?! Yay for Myles cracking 7kg!! Glad you're feeling better too.
Have a great day everyone! :D
-
Good morning everyone! Wow - am off the computer for a few days and all these posts i have to catch up on!
I too am missing that reply box at the bottom of the page! Now i just have to keep wordpad open to take notes!
Now ladies I am going back a few days to make some replies so bear with me!
Trish- Floods! Hmmm no rain here but yes I am still affected by the floods. Saturday we had no milk here! I did drive to Mt Isa and got some up there! Coles was really good about it - had a few bottles in the freezer just in case people needed it! the fridge is FANTASTIC. Everything is so nice and cold - for a change! And I didnt realise how much crap I had in the fridge until I cleaned it out and swapped things over! Its strange how we tend to get excited over buying household appliances!!!
Saffi I am losing my hair HEAPS!! My brush is full every morning! And my hair is so fine to begin with that I really can't afford to be losing it!!
Celtic- Caitlyn has about 4 bottles during the day. They are filled to 240 ml but she doesnt take all of that. She also does have a bit of water during the day and she has some farex too so she fills up quickly!
Alz Re FF timing. I feed Caitlyn when she wakes during the night - is it has been more than 4 hours. If less I just pop the dummy back in her mouth, rewrap her and she normally goes back to sleep. WITHOUT fail she will wake at 5-530 and come back to bed with us for cuddles. DUring the day she can go 5-6 hours between feeds sometimes if she is happy enough.
willow- Fantastic news about the scan! Good luck with the paed!
Right - that said - I am going to look at getting a bumbo! they sound alright! Will have to see how I can get one to here!
What a weekend! Saturday, as i said, we went to Mt Isa - DH had the day off! We bought this fisher price toy thing where she can stand a little if she wants - and she hates it of course!! We just put her in it for a couple of minutes a day. Oh and then I was SICK. All weekend - basically constantly on the loo! It was terrible. Had yesterday off work. DH had to take C to daycare for the first time. he said to me - where do I go!!?? I said in the door - its not that big a place you will find it!! Anyway - was in bed pretty much all day!
Iguess I had better get going and get ready for work :( I am realyl beginning to HATE going to work! I wish we could afford for me to be a SAHM! I would get soooo much more done!
Have a good day everyone - am sure I will be back in later during my extremely busy day (sarcasm!!) at work! MWAH
-
Willow - glad to hear the scans went well. On the easy suits, all the mums at my mums group that have them said there name doesn't fit at all.... they are the hardest things to get on bubs!
Saffi - my hair is falling out in massive clumps, its lucky I have really thick hair, so I don't miss it too much!
Trish - a holiday away sounds so nice!
Mo - good luck for Thursday
Becky - way to go on Chelsea rolling!
We had my nieces Christening on Sunday, so I've been pretty busy, and Tahlia barely slept all day, so we spent yesterday catching up on her sleeps. I put some photos on FB for anyone who is interested, as well as some new ones of Tahlia.
I think I want to get a bumbo too!
-
Brissy girls - I am off on holidays for two weeks so will miss next catch-up.:(
To all the lovely Mummies take care and will pop in when I get back! xo
-
Star - have a great holiday!
-
hey all
didn't get a chance to get on here yesterday. jj had his needles :(
i decided to give the rotavirus one a swerve since he had 10 days of diarrhea last time. they said it's more of a concern for kiddies who are going to day care. so in the end he just had the two needles (because i've brushed hep B and hib as well).
james was already upset when he got to the surgery so i decided to put him on the boob while he got the shots. good idea, since the first needle he didn't even notice. the second one he cried out then went right back to sucking. good plan!
in the afternoon he definitely reacted more than last time. he was very upset, very thirsty and obviously sore. in the end i just lay him next to me in the bed and he just suckled and slept all afternoon on and off. there was no way he was going to settle in his own bed. poor kid. needles. bleh.
i think we're about to start introducing solids round here. the boy has been wanting feeds approximately every 90 minutes during the day (unless he does a 2 hour sleep). the routine is out the window and i have a hungry hippo on my hands.
he was 8.03kg yesterday, which, according the baby panadol packet, puts him into the 6-12 mths category. i figure the little guy just wants to eat moooooore.
i bought some farex so we're going to try that out with BM for his last feed before bed and see how we go.
i am pretty exhausted after all this extensive feeding. it has been 9 or 10 feeds in 24 for hours for the last few days. i'm jealously eyeing off you formula girls who do 4 bottles!!! wooo... how good is that. i wonder why BM is lauded as such a big deal. makes me nuts more than anything else, AND gives me something more to feel guilty about when i go to take it away from him. *eyeroll*
amber - i'm glad you feel better. i still feel carp. had a big sob in the shower this morning and got into trouble with DH for not coping.... we resolved it tho', so he's not in the dog house anymore.
not sure about the meetup - will have to play it by ear.
for the farex babies... what time of day did they have their first serve?
-
hey viv - i haven't given tahlia farex yet, so I'm probably not the best one to advise, but I think its better to give it to them earlier in the day, as it can be hard for their tummies to digest to start with, meaning he might not settle..... don't take what I say as gospel though, cause I haven't yet been through it.... I'm sure the other lovely ladies who have already tried or who have older ones will be able to advise
-
Viv - You deserve a medal right now, you really are a trouper! Poor James and his needles, I absolutely HATE getting them done. When I started Farax with Joel I used to give it to him in the morning. I can't remember the reason why now! Maybe ask your MCHN what she recommends?
Kellie - Cute photos of Tahlia! I'll have a closer look at them later.
Star - Have a great holiday!
Rebecca - I hope you feel better soon
We went to the chiro earlier and K is all fixed! He didn't need to do any adjustments today so that is great news! He really is so much happier now compared to last week and he is doing awesome day sleeps, YAY!!!
-
Viv - Caitlyn normally has her first bit of Farex at around 7-730. I have been told to not follow the directions on the packet to theletter tho (1tsp farex to 2 tsp fluid) as it is too thick! I found that true so I make sure its really quite runny. It does tend to go thick too the longer you leave it and I also make sure that the temp of it is around the same as it would be for a normal feed. Just make sure you keep an eye on bowel movements cause supposedly it can tend to constipate the poor little mites - so far no trouble here - touch wood.
-
Hey all, just a quick one from me cause i don't want to depress everyone....having issues with L refusing feeds. Just had him weighed and he's only gained 50g this week, that's a huge drop for him, he has been gaining 200-300g a week since birth. NFI what is going on. CHN said to keep an eye on him (wow - helpful!) and if he continues to refuse the breast take him to see a dr to rule out illness.
Viv - sorry your still feeling carp, I know the feeling...
Trish - glad K is all better.
-
Oh - I got the wrap in the mail today! So will be trying it tonight to see how we go! DH has been curious cause all I keep saying is I wonder when the angelwrap will arrive!!!
-
Willow - Your DS has been stacking on weight, so maybe his body is just stabilising now. K had a week a while back where he barely put on any weight and then he more than made up for it the following week. Great advise from your MCHN, not! Don't you just wish someone could give you a magic answer?!
Rebecca - Yay for the wrap arriving! Let us know if it is any good.
-
OK...methinks something is up with the boy. He's had two sleeps today of 2.5 hours, very little to no resettling - UNHEARD of!
CHN said perhaps he was coming down with something...maybe she's right...
-
I fed Indi some custard today. Her first solids ever. Last night i was eating a iceblock (she ws sitting on my lap) and was pulling my arm down and was trying to eat it! She got some red blotchyness on her face, im guessing it was because it was apple flavoured - Tiarna did the same with anything apple flavoured. Ill be buying her some farex to try next time.
I find the farex was def too thick when going by packet instructions so i always added more water. (you can mix it with boiled water)
Also you can start off feeding them farex in the morning to see how they digest it during the day. Thats what ill be doing. I wouldnt know if it makes indi constipated or not because she goes 2-3 days without a dirty nappy!
-
Hugs to all of those who need it! *Think of the light.......*
My hair has been falling out heaps too. Its a hormone thing! It eases up!
Star - We'll miss ya! Where you off too? Have a fantastic time!!!
I got me a Bumbo! They are so cute. And I think DS likes it just as much as DD at the moment. LOL.
I'll be back a little later - gotta hang the washing out!
XX
-
Woohoo - L is now 6kg (6.09). Graduated up to crawler nappies now as well. Look a little big on him, but at least I can buy them in bulk.
Trish - we are going to Port Douglas. I am hoping that all the miserable weather Nth Qld has been having clears by the time we get up there.
Willow - hope L doesn't come down with anything. I'm hoping that he has turned the corner and is starting to sleep better for you.
Becky - go the Bumbo. I was telling the girls in my other MG about it. I should get a commission LOL.
Viv - :hugs: this motherhood thing is carp at times. What other job do you work 24/7 for no pay and only a little immediate reward? I guess the reward is seeing the little one grow into an accomplished human being.
Sorry to hear he had such a bad time with his needles. Hopefully he is getting over it now. L goes the week after next :(
I am sure JJ will love food. You are doing a great job BF, but don't be too hard on yourself for considering alternatives.
-
Thanks Kellie, Trish and Becky - we are off to Inverloch in VIC for one week and then skiing in Euchuca (not sure if that is how you spell it?) for one week. Should be fun - really looking forward to it! We leave Thurs morning.
Viv - poor little James! Needles are rough. Let us know how he goes on the farex -it does sound like he's hungry! I have a feeling that once you stop BF you will start to feel normal again - it's been a bit of a mission for you the whole way along and now that he's feeding so much it will be using every ounce of your energy and mucking around with your hormones too - go gentle on yourself!
Willow - What a terrible time you are having - I really hope it gets better soon. Is your L a Lachlan as well?
Aaaaghhh - I had heaps more to say but now that I can't quiick reply I can't scroll up and I forget who said what!! Sorry!
Oh Nerida - wanted to say that is awesome about Lachie!! He is catching up to Mateo now!
Question:Does anyone have babies with really bad eczema? Mateo has it all over him atm - we are using mitts to stop scratching, giving eucalyptus baths, have steroid cream and QV cream - is there anything else we can do?
-
Hey all, L has been better this afternoon, had 3 proper feeds, no more refusing the breast so hopefully he was just a little off for some reason and it's already passing. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, it is the worst feeling. Had it with DD too at one stage.
He has slept most of the day though! Not like him at all. Went to bed with another feed and no fuss. I just had to resettle him but he's sound asleep again. I just hope he feeds well overnight...
Star - my L is for Logan! My cousin and my nieces all have shocking eczma. My cousin used to bath in oatmeal?! Not sure if that would help?
-
Star Was at HCN clinic today and one of the girls in mothers group kids has eczma....she said that you should slather cream on them while they are still damp, or still in the bathroom where it is warm. Don't dry them too much coz what you want to do is to trap the moisture IN their skin. She said to use nothing in the bath water (although QV should be OK) and if you use sorbolene cream, don't use one from a pump action bottle coz they put something in that cream that thins it (to enable it to be pump action) and that can react with their skin.
Hi everyone else...sorry haven't gone back on the pages..! HOpe everyone is going well.
Max slept through the night again last night...hope it happens again...and Trish I didn't do a dream feed.... CONFUSED!!
:)
-
Saffi - Woohoo to Lachlan!!! He is absolutely stacking it on now! Well done to you, you have done a sensational job!!! Ooh Port Douglas, that is my most favourite destination in Australia! We have holidayed there twice now, it is just so beautiful. I'm so jealous!!
Star - Have a great time in Inverloch! That's where DH & I got married :) . DH's aunty lives there so we stay there quite often. Have fun in Echuca too!
Willow - :confetti: Hooray for L!!! I'm so glad to hear he is feeding properly again. And those sleeps...! I reckon he may have turned a corner ;)
Becky - LOL at joining the Bumbo brigade! I'm starting to feel left out now!!
Well K did marathon sleeps today, I don't know what's going on, but I like it! He did a 2.5 hour nap a 2 hour nap (I woke him from that one) and a 1.5 hour nap!! He can do that everyday, I won't complain :D
Have a great evening everyone!
ETA - Julia - Wow, I wouldn't complain about that if I were you LOL!
-
Hi all,
willow- a gain is still a gain? I know you might not feel so good cause he has been gaining a good amount each week but at some stage it has to start slowing down? I always think well if they are not loosing it any gain is a god gain!
Viv- i hope J is going ok after his needles, im taking Ty in the morning to get his.......
well ive had a HUGE day. twice a yr tupperware have this big state convention. is started in the city at 8.45am, so i had my girls meet at my place at 7am thismorning and didnt get home till 6.15pm tonight. my poor mum was super exhausted she went to work with my dad (5.30am) came to mine looked after the boys, then took them to my sisters and minded her two aswell till we all got home. Think i should give her something for her mamoth efforts.
Me, Ty & Nix all awoke with mozzie bites thismorning, still havent been able to find the buggers, got a couple of mozzie things u plug into the powerpoint so hope that helps.
all you bumbo heads lol! i would have liked one bt like Trish said i did without one for Nixon so think i can do away with one for Tyron. Just had to put the car seat i bought on special for dh car into my car cause Ty is too heavy for the capsule... so now i wanna get atleast another 1 car seat for dh car.. big w have some i might try and get there tomorrow....
ok im pooped time for bed. g night
-
Nic - Yeah i didnt have one with Liam. Mainly beacuse I dont even think I had heard of them! Chels seems to like it though.
Terri & Nerida - I hope you have fantastic timew when you go away. Hmmm..... what I wouldnt give for a holiday. LOL.
Yeah it was Chelsea's first day in a big car seat yesterday. She has outgrown the capsule now! Its so sad. :( I remember feeling sad about it when Liam moved up too. :(
Well, day number 2 at CC tomroow! Im feeling sad again. LOL. But then I look at the photos we have that they took for us while he was there, and I feel better. I have PROOF he had a good time! LOL.
Have a great night to all!
-
Morning everyone!
I tried to come in here earlier and the site was down, oh no! I managed to survive lol!!
Now, for those who don't want to read about my good night, please don't read any further...!
Last night I gave K his dreamfeed at 9:45pm, he was back to bed at 10pm, woke at 2am, I resettled him in his cot (just popped his dummy in) and he slept until 6:45am!! That's nearly 9 hours of sleep and a first for us!!! I couldn't believe it when I looked at the time this morning!! After the week we had last week, I never thought this would happen so soon. I have my fingers and toes crossed that he does it again tonight! Anyway, I just had to tell someone, I am so happy :D
Becky - GL today taking Liam to CC again, I'm sure he will love it!
Nic - Your day yesterday sounds EXHAUSTING! I hope you get a bit of a rest today.
Hope everyone has a great day! :)
-
Morning all
Can I gloat too? Had a pretty good night ourselves. L slept from 10pm to 5am, with a brief dummy cry at 2am. He went back to sleep on the boob at his 5am feed and slept thru to 7am. We had a massive day yesterday and L slept very little. We went out for dinner and L screamed the whole time. DH and I took turns in walking the streets in the pram to calm him down (nice meal together not). I also put him into a long sleeve long legged jumpsuit overnight but not covered in anything else. So I don't know if it was the big day/tantrum, the jumpsuit or a new routine that caused this. At home today so he can catch up on his sleeps. Going to try the jumpsuit again.
Q for Brissy girls - what have you been dressing your bubs in at night lately? It has been cooler here and I am thinking that maybe I have been underdressing him.
Terri - have a great holiday. I can see Teo will become an avid water skier in no time.
Becky - I am sure today will be fine. Like how the CC takes photos.
Trish - woohoo for K. Its amazing how good you feel after a decent night's sleep.
Willow - way to go Logan. I hope you had a good night.
Nickers - every day is a big day for us Mums, but it is strange to have a "normal"/ different busy day.
Thinking we might look at putting L into his cot. He is starting to hit his head on the top of the bassinette now. It was so bad yesterday it left a mark on him for quite a while. Has anyone else made the shift yet?
Anyway, got to do some housework today, so best start while L is asleep.
BBL
-
Trish and Saffi - glad to hear some of us had good nights!
Tahlia, (who normall goes down at around 10), didn't go down till midnight after I took her for a drive, then woke again at 3.00am and again at 7am. SHe normally sleeps right thru till 8am! Don't know what happend there, but I hope it doesn't happen again tonight
Saffi - now that you mention it, maybe the bassinette is what is waking Tahlia up, cause when she stretches her legs and arms she hits the top abnd bottom. I'm just being too much of a sook and dont what to move her to her own room yet, but maybe I'll have to! She has her day sleeps in her own room, so hopefully it won't be too much of a big deal for her.
Becky - hope the 2nd day at cc goes just as well!
-
Becky- Hope second day at day care goes ok!!!
Kellie- I know how you feel. C normally goes down at 630 until 1 and then until 5-530. Last night she was down at 630 up at 830,put dummy in & back to sleep, up at 930, put dummy in & back to sleep, up at 1130, feed time, up at 3 unwrapped feed time again, up at 530 unwrapped - into bed with mum and dad slept til 625 then I decided enough was enough and we got up. Then she had some farex, a grizzle and I took her off to daycare! Suffice to say - I am a little tired today!!
I didnt try the wrap out last night - had to give it a wash before I used it and it didnt dry in time. I am really suffering for these looooong nights tho.
Oh and yesterday when I picked her up from daycare they tell me that she had 3 runny poos during the day (3??? she normally only has 1 a day - that makes it 4 for yesterday) and that I may have to keep her home! I spoke to the director who said to just keep an eye on it tonight (last night) and if she did another poo - keep her home. Well - no poos last night or this morning so things are looking ok so far. I just rang the centre and they said that she was fine. However - I did notice last night this nice white thing at her gum!!!! No teeth!!! Please not yet!!! Am not getting enough sleep right now!!! I think I may need to increase my caffeine intake!!
Saffi & Kellie- I have never had C in a bassinette - she has always been in her cot since 5 weeks of age (was in a portacot at my parents house for the first 4 weeks) so unfortunately I can't help! Good luck tho!!
Anyway - am off to pretend to do some work! I really really want to quit!!!! Am bored sitting here all day surfing the net! :wall:

To everyone, i hope everything improves for you soon. Feeding and sleeping issues are not a problem this way so i cant say i know how you are all feeling...nor do i want to add salt to the wound in bragging about it. Of course the only issue is Chelsea cos she is sick so up and down all night.
On to us. Chelsea is the sickest little girl ive ever seen. She has 40-41 degree temp, wont eat, wont drink, cries all the time, her nose is running, breathing hard, just clings to me, but dr says its just a cold and she will be ok, just keep fluids up...yeh and how do i do that when she says no and refuses....but anyhow im trying.
Jasmine is coming down with it too. But such a happy baby she amazes me so much.
We also have a Bumbo that the girls both use.
Im home alone 2 sick kids. Im sick myself. Craig cant stay home cos has $hit hitting the fan at work, he also has a broken foot. I feel my world is crashing down just when i was on top of things again.
My enhanced team returned last week, very happy with my progress. So thats a step forward i spose
My IL's fly down tomorrow. Craig and i are off lunchtime Friday to Lakes Entrance for the weekend without the girls. Im silently $hitting myself about leaving them for 2 whole nights, but i know i need the time away from them.
Anyway i best be off.. just wanted to have a quick update. I usually dont come online much, but seeing though i feel a bit lost right now im back for a little while.
-
Kim:hugs: Keep your chin up. Sounds like you need a little "me time". I hope you and the rest of your family start to feel better soon. MWAH MWAH
