hey everyone
It seems I have the biter this week, we have been trying to feed for about 1 hour now, and she keeps biting! I've just had a feel of her gums and I think there is a tooth coming, so we've just put on some bonjela - I think I'll let that soak in a bit and then try again - it really hurts though - ouch! :crying:
Mo - hope that placenta moves for you!
Amber - good luck tomorrow night!
Anyway, I can hear some sooking, better go and try this feed again so she can go to bed!
night night
Morning everyone!
Couldn't get on to BB on my laptop yesterday because our wireless connection died for a while so I've been a bit quiet! We're going away for the weekend in our caravan, our first family trip! We're leaving later this afternoon, hopefully it goes well. I have no idea how K will go sleeping in the caravan, but I will soon find out!
Oh and our SIL (DH's bro's wife) had a baby girl yesterday! Poor SIL was 11 days overdue and had been having contractions on and off for a week. She must be so tired. I can't wait to see them!
Kellie - Sorry you're going through biting ATM , it's awful isn't it? I hope this is a quickly passing phase for you both!
Amber - Good luck tonight!!! :goodluck: Let us know how you go!
alz - Sorry you have all been so sick, hopefully you'll all feel better now that winter is over. And how disappointing that your IL's are moving :(. How exciting that you're planning bub #2!! What sort of age gap would you like?
Mo - Praying your placenta moves up by your next scan .
Kazaraz - K has always been a clingy baby so I haven't noticed anything different lately LOL! What a saga with your cake! I'm sure it will all work out in time for the party.
Rebecca - Congrats to your DH on finally being a tradesman! Glad to hear Caitlyn is doing well :)
Dragonbub - It sounds like your party planning is going well, should be a huge event!
Celtic - LOL your arm was easily twisted into sharing your girl's name! Dana is a gorgeous name, I hope you have a girl so you can use it LOL!
Becky - How's the TT going? Joel isn't completely night dry yet, though he is almost there. I have been a bit lazy because I don't want to have to get up to two boys in the middle of the night. Joel would never get out of his bed of his own accord to go to the toilet. Ever since he's been in a bed (just before he turned 2) he has never once gotten out of bed without me or DH coming to get him! It used to be handy, but now it's annoying.
Pish - IKWYM about wondering where the last year has gone! Our pregnancies seemed to drag compared to when our bubs are actually here!
Julia - How did you go with Charlie at the show? I hope he did well!
Anyway, better get off the computer and get brekky for the boys. Then I've gotta pack food and clothing for our trip. Have a great day and weekend everyone!!!
Trish, have a great weekend away. You going to the coast? I went down to Torquay to visit a friend on Tuesday night and the swell was awsome, perhaps a little on the big side for me but i was still hanging to go out for a paddle. Supposed to be great this weekend too it think. Better pack the board! ;)
Ange - We're going to Point Leo. I wanted to go to the Island, but DH thought Point Leo would be a bit quicker to get to for the boys sake. I'd love to pack the board, but I can't imagine myself getting out there atm! Not sure if my wetsuit even fits me anymore, it's been so long since I've worn it . I love Torquay, we've surfed there and at Jan Juc heaps, we had our car stolen from the Torquay surf club with all our boards and camping gear in it once :o. Luckily we had a police chase and we got the car and most of our stuff back LOL.
A police chase??? Cooool! I guess not so cool at the time, but a great story. i learnt to surf at PtLeo. We spent every summer camping there for 2 months as kids until i was 18. Infact i met DH down there in the sand dunes!
Go on..... pack your board! You'll feel awsome even if you just have a paddle. Wetsuits are stretchy, i bet it fits, you were looking good when i saw ya! ;)
Have a great time. :)
Aww shucks, thanks Ange! I weigh the same as I used to, but my body has widened a lot thanks to carrying two bubs LOL. I've never surfed at Point Leo, wow, 2 month holidays there sound awesome! And how cool you met your DH there. My DH used to go on family holidays there every year too. The stolen car saga wasn't cool at the time, but it does make for a good story now. We were so lucky to get everything back. The thieves were throwing stuff out the car as they were being chased including DH's final year uni notes. Luckily his phone number was in his bag and a kind person found it and called us. It was hilarious when they got caught (they called in the dog squad too!) and wrestled to the ground. They said the stuff wasn't stolen, but had our names all over it LOL. DH is one of those people who puts our name and phone number on everything.
Trish - I know exactly what you mean! Liam us exactly the same! He has never ever gotten out of bed of his own accord either. Never. Just lays in bed in the morning calling out "Mummy!" LOL. So that will be interesting here when we try night trainign a s well. We have got a busy week next week so Im going to leave it for next wekk, but then really start tryng the week after, and not give up. LOL
Have fun while your away too!!!!
Just a pouty post to say Ryan is teething and I feel like spewing everywhere, stay tuned, doubt I'd be that lucky to be preg 2 wks off the pill but you never know hehe, fingers crossed! DP pooping himself :P
Morning All,
Hope you all had a great night. Ethan slept well again last night. I was awake all hours feeling lousy but feeling a bit better today.
Trish - have a great time away. How exciting first family holiday.
As far as bub#2 goes. We would like about a 2 year gap that is why I am going to start trying later this month. It took me ages to get preg with Ethan and I was seeing a fertility specialist so am hoping things go a bit better this time around.
Celtic - hope you feel better. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, think I might go have a lie down while little one is sleeping.
Talk soon.
Hey just a quick hi girls .. busy busy here getting organised for Tay's party tomorrow. I hope it stops raining
Hi everyone....
Max is not a happy man so am going to keep this very short...I have only skimmed the posts...
Charlie did well at the show, he got a blue ribbon. He is the youngest there so he didn't win coz you just can't compare him to a fully mature Old English...but maybe one day!
Well...today was my due date last year!!! Scary!
Better go, I've left Max sitting in front of the Wiggles!
Hope the rain stops for you Kaz!
Looks like we won't be leaving until tomorrow morning now :(. DH is STILL at work, he's been held up. Poor Joel is so upset, he's been crying and saying he wants daddy home. Never mind, it's raining non-stop ATM so it's probably not the best time to try and tow a caravan. It's meant to be fine tomorrow.
Seeing as I will be away this weekend (theoretically) I wanted to say:
:birthday2: Happy 1st birthday Taygan!!! :birthday2:
I hope you have a wonderful day and I hope you have great fun at your party! Hope the weather clears up in time :D
Julia - Well done to Charlie for winning a blue ribbon!
Celtic - Ooooh, fingers crossed for you! :crossfingers:
alz - A two year age gap sounds good, good luck TTC, hopefully you won't need any help this time :)
Becky - How funny that Liam won't get out of bed either! I told Joel the first time he went into a bed that he couldn't get out unless we come and get him. I never knew it would be set in stone forever LOL! I have told him time and time again that he is allowed to get out of bed by himself, but he refuses .
Happy Birthday Taygan (awesome name by the way...)
Minimax - yeah coming closer to Caden's birthday I often think of how I was feeling last year. Mind you, this time last year I thought I had 5 weeks to go still, not 2 :)
Alz - a mum from my mothers group had her first via IVF and is not preg naturally with her second. I think having one clears up lots of the dramas from trying first time, so fingers crossed that is the same for you.
Celtic - hope you feel better hun and sending positive vibes your way
Trish - enjoy your holiday, I am so jealous. We haven't been on a holiday in YEARS due to DHs business, so hopefully we sell it soon and life can get back to normal after four years.
Celtic and mum2 - Caden is teething also which is not fun at the moment. It seems different this time with the molars, so far anyway. I am hoping they don't hurt as bad, or that he is more used to the pain by now  hoping the tooth fairy arrives as quickly and painlessly as possible.
As for us, like I said, teething again :wall: I have really enjoyed the school holidays though and have had a ball with baby activities. I am going to the show maybe on the weekend, and a teddy bears picnic in a few weeks. C is getting so much more fun and adventurous, makes me almost feel that having another wouldn't be so bad! Not clucky yet, we want about a 3 year gap between bubs, but nice to feel that it would be ok if it happened.
Hope everyone else is having a good week and Mo, hope you're feeling better, :hugs:
Hi girls! Yay i just saw i have hit 1000 post woohoo!
Kazaraz hope the rain has stopped and have a lovely day! If i dont get a chance tomorrow Happy birthday day Taygan!:confetti:
Trish hope you have a nice time camping, we are off to the dam to go skiing today so should be fun!
dragonbub, hope those teeth pop through soon! I hear on the cluckiness! but we want to wait a bit too! I get my fix from friends lol!
Julia woohoo charlie:clap:! Did you get some pics?
Celtic poor bubba! Hope he is better soon!
Alz get well hun!
Well we had the awards last night, was so nervous! I really wanted to win casue i missed out on being there last year cause Myles was only a week old, and cause my dh works so hard! Anyway food was really nice, and the entertainment was great! Well i really thought we were not going to win cause there were 3 bakeries this time in our category including a brumbies, but............................................... .................................................. .................

I was so proud of Geoff and our staff and to be there in person to hear them call our names was so great!
