Amelia - have you been to the Eimeo Pub yet? We had a great lunch up there when we visited and the scenery is to die for.
Yes, we'll be finding out the sex for sure. DH doesn't like surprises and I like to be organised.
Mo - I know what you mean about unusual names. I lurk in the baby name forum and am so tempted to post a reply with my name (Nerida - not Saffi). Its not unusual by any means but its not the Ella, Eva, Ava and Olivia that everyone is going with or the totally made up weird names. Actually I have been looking at indigenous names to see if there are any that I like. Kylie is an indig name (I won't be going with that!). Rant over
Kim - how are you going?
Julia - I love Singapore. Great balance of east meets west.
Rebecca - love the updated photo of Miss C. What a little girl she has become.
Trish - that's right Joel is getting up to school age. He is doing preschool this year?
Hi to Amber, Willow, Becky, Nic and anyone else I've forgotten.
-
NERIDA - No i havent yet.....DH went their with his dad the other weekend before xmas. DH is taking us their for lunch next Saturday.
KIM - How u going??
-
Becky- Im like you I would love a 3rd but not sure if i am ready just yet, i find the 2 pretty demanding atm. still tossing up if we ttc towards the end of the yr for a 2010 baby or a 2012 when Nix will start school.
-
Saffi at least Nerida is more common than Morwenna, but I'm sure you grew up with people mispronouncing your name all the time.
Trish hope your U/S goes well today, look forward to hearing all about it :)
Amber enjoy your weekend away.
-
Still here....had a S&S done yesterday.....thought things were gunna happen..but so far nothing other then alot of mucous and blood from them fiddling round...LOL
-
Kim- my waters ruptured 2 days after having an internal with Tyron, so fingers crossed but not legs that it helped move things along!
-
Trish had to stalk you to find out about your U/S lol but I'm so glad everything went well.
Hope you get an official EDD tomorrow.
Amber i finished New Moon & i did get annoyed at some parts in the book but still a good read overall, Now all i have to do is track down the last 2 which should easier as they were all in stock last week.
Will send the book off on Thursday if that's ok?
Kim hope your doing well, Can't be too much longer till Bumblebee is in your arms.
-
Oh ive been waiting to see how your scan went Trish....glad it went well :)
Mo thanks, im doing ok....taking day by day.....he really is a stubborn little man...more convinced Jasmine left him a note saying come late. At least this time next week ill def have him in my arms...more then likely induction will be booked for Friday if he isnt here by then!
Hey...Jasmine has been trying to cut 8 yes 8 teeth for the last 4 weeks now....and they just wont cut...i can see the white tooth but they wont come through....do you guys think its something to worry about??
Chelsea's all popped through rather quickly so im a little concerned.
-
Kim - I wouldn't worry. I've had teeth take like 6 weeks to cut through. I consider 'cutting' to be when you can see part of the white has come through the gum. I know with L's molars, it's taken weeks longer before the tooth is actually fully visible. So no, I wouldn't worry. They'll come in time. I hope she's a happy teether though!
-
Whoops, sorry everyone, in my blah state I forgot to let you all know! Yep, the scan went well, I saw a little flickering heartbeat which was very reassuring. I find out tomorrow arvo the official due date. I'm so tired and feeling yuck atm. DH goes back to work tomorrow after having 3 weeks off and I don't know how I'll cope! I had a nanna nap when K had a nap this morning. I won't be able to do that tomorrow!
K has started taking a couple of steps (finally!) which is good. He also says "cheese" (more like "geeze") when he sees our camera LOL!
Sorry for no personals tonight, I'll be back tomorrow when I fell less brain dead!
-
Congrats Trish, you are very lucky to be pregnant again and see the nice and reassuring heartbeat at your scan.
Kim - I hope that you are close to having that little boy of yours ... fingers crossed for you x
Mo - have you seen Twilight? I went with a friend, wasnt sure it was my cup of tea but I loved it. Like you now I am really keen to read all of the books. Luckily the same friend has the whole set and is going to lend them to me! Happy reading!
Hi everyone else!
Had a good weekend here ... househunting yesterday, 35th last night and my dh and I went to the movies with the girls this morning and see Marley and Me. They were so well behaved, the cinema was pretty empty so I recommend the 11am session on a Sunday morning. Great movie, really recommend it.
We just had a friend over, he had a bunch of christmas present for us all. Arent we lucky? I didnt get any 'surprise' present from 'santa' so it was really nice to get something. I dont think you are ever 2 old to get a present from santa!
Nickers - I know what you mean about having your hands full with two! Sometimes I wonder how we will cope if and when we are lucky enough to fall pregnant again. I guess this time, there will be a bit more of a gap, because even if we fall pregnant again soon there will be two years at least between Tay and No 3. I am seeing people with 3 kids everywhere ... its like a sign or something!
Did I tell you my sister is pregnant again? 8 weeks. If I hadnt of miscarried we would have been two weeks apart ... again! For those of you that dont know, Tay and my niece are two weeks apart. We seem to be in sync with this conceiving babies thing. Its a little bitter sweet now, I am sure I will think about it a bit when her baby is born in August.
Anyway .... hope everyone is well and that you have had a great weekend!
-
Trish i was so tired during the 1st Tri, I remember sleeping when-ever Maddi would, Must be a lot harder with 2 kids.
Yay for K as-well, no more resting for you.
Kaz i haven't seen the movie yet, looks like I'll have to wait till it's on DVD :(
Congrats to your sister & it wont be long before you have an announcement :)
-
Kaz-its great for your sister but it would be pretty hard for you, and too when she has bub it will be more on your mind, i hope you guys can fall pregnant again soon. Our kids are about the same ages, and my sister and i had our kids (her 2nd and my 1st) just 4 days apart! Then my 2nd came along 4days before her 1st's 3rd birthday!! we are in sync i think too LOL. and hey i laughed when u said u keep seeing 3 children everywhere like a sign, just in the last day or two i kept seeing families of 3 children and thought the same thing!
a girl i sell tupperware with his 3 under 5 she had 18m gap and then a 2yr gap and all 3 kids are adorable, u couldnt imagine the 3rd not being there and i know thats how we would feel too, its more of convincing dh though i think he needs a bit of arm twisting if we were to ttc again.i want us to both be 100% sure because i know there will be tough times too and i dont want either one of us to resent those times because we both wernt 100% happy with having another... having said that if i magically fell pregnant accidently im sure baby would be welcomed by both of us!
-
Morning everyone!
Not much exciting going on here, just trying to get motivated to put away the clean washing LOL! Oh and I've gotta cut K's fringe, it is in his eyes. I hate trying to cut a moving target's hair!!
Nic - I feel the same way as you about wanting both of you to want a new bub at the same time, I didn't want to start trying for K until both DH & I felt 100%. It took me a long time to feel 100% I can tell you! DH was ready way before me. This time around our decision was much faster because we really want to get the baby phase out of the way and move on to other things. We also didn't want too big of any age gap between Joel and the new bub.
Mo - I CAN'T believe you only have 10 weeks to go! I hope my pregnancy flies like yours has!!
Kaz - Where are you looking to move to? It must be hard having your sister being due around the time you would have been . I had a m/c in January of last year and fell pg immediately after with K so it's very possible you won't be that far behind your sister. My sister and I had our bubs two weeks apart when I had K and it was nice to compare with each other.
Kim - Unless you're already in labour or have already had your bub, I hope you're hanging in there!
Hope you all have a great day!
-
Trish yay for an offical due date.
I can't belive it either & if she comes early like her sister she could be here in 8wks :o
Hope everyone & their bubs are well.
-
Mo - Almost single digits!! Wow where has the time gone already.
-
Trish - I know what you mean about getting through the baby phase. That is probably my biggest incentive to ttc again soon, as the older they get, the easier SOME things get and it makes it hard thinking about going back to the baby phase again!
Nic - it is weird isnt it how in sync you get. I know when I shared with girls, we always seem to align our cycles. We will see what happens this time, I am thinking I want a NOvember early December baby which means late Feb/March conception. If only you could plan it like that. As yet we are not really back on the bike. I am a little aprehensive. One great this is that I have my dh's unwavering support!
Kim - I really hope you are in hospital!
Mo - 10 weeks, omg ... that time will fly for us at least. 2nd pregnancies are so fast when you have a littley already.
So girls - who is actually pregnant with No 3?
-
Amber are you still able to get Eclipse & Breaking Dawn in book shops up there?
It's sold out every-where here, i can't even order them online as it's sold out lol.
Amelia i know can't believe come Friday my ticker will say 9 weeks & 6 days!
Kaz they do go a lot faster & it's not always a great thing, i still have a fair bit i need do.
As far i know it's only Kim & Trish who are expecting their 3rd.
