Mo what did your friend have and whats the name? I cannot beilieve you only have 18 weeks left omg! I am thinking Myles may be the same with santa? Will have to ease him in lol!
Kellie Myles is the same when it comes to looking in his mouth it drives me insane! Hope she feels better soon!
Well no need to have my question about ovulating answered AF came today! Its been on my mind for a few weeks now and I felt really bloated and just kinda new she must be on her way! I am excited but at the same time bummed cause it was great not havin it! It would have been 2 years on xmas day since haing it! We wont try again for at least 3 months I think cause i want to get really first before no. 2 comes along!
Just popping in to say....
:dance:We have walking:wiggle:
Like all the bubs he had been building up to it for a about a week now, but this morning he took more than a few steps. Got it on video and then rushed in to wake DH up and L practiced over and over again. We are so proud. I'll see if DH can load it onto FB for all of you to see.
Kate - congrats to your Lochie on walking. He beat older Lochie to walking. Very clever. Also congrats on the arrival of your nephew. It would have been amazing to be there for the birth. There are too many things to do when you are going through it yourself to really appreciate it.
Amber - hope you're feeling better soon. I bet AF doesn't make you feel any better either. At least now you know you're fertile and can start planning for #2.
Becky - WTG Liam on the TT.
Kaz - congrats on the TT for Mia.
Mo - why don't you have a photo with Maddi and Santa. That way you can have a photo with both of your bubs (eventho one bub is in your tummy).
Trish - how's K doing?
Kellie - I hear ya on looking inside the mouth. I get occasional glimpses in there. His 12 month molars look to be coming through. It looks really nasty, no wonder he's been really cranky.
The first of my IRL MG has announced her pregnancy with #2.
Getting prepared for another hot day today. They are predicting another big storm tonight - just when things are starting to dry out.
Well ladies nothing much else happening here.
Going to have coffee with a friend and then head off shopping.
Have a good weekend.
:leap: Lachlan! :leap: Well done! Saffi you will be running after him on no time lol!
In pain here! i had forgotten how blissfull not having AF is! Argh! And cannot take anything stronger than panadol bugger!
Off to lie on the couch! xx
Mo - I was also thinking that Tahlia might be scared of Santa!
Well done to both Lachies on walking... Tahlia is also doing really well, I wouldnt say she is officially walking yet, cause her preferred method of moving is still crawling, and when she does walk she falls over a lot, but she is nearly there.
Amber - you poor thing, I only got mine back a few months ago and the 1st one back was horrible! I dont remember it ever being that bad before, luckily ever since, it hasnt been so bad.
Off to visit a newborn bub this afternoon, but I can say it still wont make me clucky! Dont know what else is on today cause it is actually raining in Melb! Tomorrow we have the last of my IRL mothers group 1st bday parties at the zoo so I hope it doesnt rain tomorrow!
Have a good weekend everyone
WTG on the walking both Lachlan's!
it's official Maddi is terrified of Santa, so i got Phil's 16 yr old cousin to sit on Santa's lap with her lol.
Maddi still cried but at least the cousin looks good in the picture, will add the pic on FB.
Amber at least you have a starting point for TTC when your ready.
My firend had a boy & named him Spencer and he weighed 6p 8oz
18wks if i make it to 40wks this time, I might go at 38wks again!
Kellie hope you had a nice day out.
Morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! K is still asleep this morning which is very unlike him, I want to check on him, but I know it will wake him up and I'll be spewing LOL! He has a bit of a cold ATM so maybe he is just sleeping it off. He cut another tooth too, yesterday he finally went back to being non-grumpy K :confetti:.
I went with DH to his executive Christmas dinner dance on Saturday night which was fun. I went two years ago, but last year I'd just had K so didn't go. It might be the last year we go to, they are cutting costs because of the financial crisis so either DH won't have a job there this time next year (:o) or they probably won't have the party. It's pretty extravagant, it was held in a wharf shed at the Docklands (converted of course!) and each table had a massive candleabra (sp?) on it. There was a comedy/singing act, a band and yummy food and wine. It was fun to get dressed up and not feel so "mum-like"!
Oh and I got to see Mo and Maddi on Saturday, Maddi was giving K lots of cuddles, but K was not impressed with being cuddled by a girl LOL! He'll regret missing out one day ;)
Mo - It was great to see you guys again! Joel was terrified of Santa when he was a baby too, I tried to get a photo, but he just cried and cried. I was so disappointed! I haven't even tried to take K, I suspect the same thing will happen.
Kellie - I hope your day at the zoo was fun yesterday! The rain held out all day over here.
Amber - It SUCKS when AF comes back! Mine is still all over the place 6 months later, drives me batty! I hope you're feeling better today.
Saffi - Congrats on L walking! How exciting!!! That's great you caught it on video :)
misskate - Congrats on your nephew and congrats on Lachlan walking!
Becky - I'm so glad Liam's TT is going well! It's liberating when you don't have to change their nappies all the time!
Karen - Congrats on the TT with Mia! The number 2's are a bit harder to get them to do, it must feel so weird to them!
K has just started to wake up, it was nice having a coffee in peace this morning! Have a great day everyone!!
Hi everyone
I'm HOME!!!! YAY! Looking forward to catching up on all the goss (although I don't think Max will have a long enough nap!)
Hope everyone is well and the bubbas are too!
x
Yes boomba, we did get out of the house on Friday. We ended up going with my dh to Geelong, he had work to do there so the girls and I went shopping. I must say the Westfield shopping centre at Geelong is impressive!
The girls are ok, we have a bit of a grumpy baby at the moment though. She has reverted back to waking up early hours of the morning. We are putting it down to teething. You really notice being woken up, when both the girls have been sleeping through for a while now. It makes me wonder what it will be like when we do have another baby!
Mia is still doing really well with her tt. She has had one no 1 accident and one no 2. But the no 1 accident happened whilst we were eating dinner. She even went shopping with her daddy in nickers yesterday, very proud of her.
Wow, all the babies are starting to walk. Well done .... we have only just started standing in the last week and a half, so I think walking will be a while off yet. Mia didnt walk until almost 18 months, so I am not really expecting it before then with miss Taygan.
Anyway girls hope youa re all well and your bubbas are being good for you all. K x
Trish it was great seeing you & the boys.
Hope K is starting to feel better & glad you had a nice night out :)
Welcome back Julia, how did Max go with the flights?
Hope you had a great time.
Hi Kaz :)
Hi all
Julia - welcome home. Can't wait to hear about your travels.
Trish - a dinner dance would have been very nice. I haven't been to a ball in years.
Kaz - L has taken to waking up at 5am recently too. I have been giving him a bottle and most times he goes back to sleep until a more decent time. A friend's son habitually woke at 5am so now they dreamfeed him at 5am before he even wakes. And here I was thinking the dreamfeed days were over. L could be teething which also explains it. Plus we don't have daylight savings up here which means that it is sunrise at 5am!
L went to visit Santa on Saturday. Like all the other bubs he was a bit uncertain, but as it was late in the day we just took our time and eventually got him on Santa's knee and ended up with a nice photo. It was the same Santa as last year so it is great to compare. He doesn't even look like the same person (L not Santa LOL).
DH and I both took L into daycare today. We got into the doorway and L was put down and he walked into the room. All the carers were squealing with delight.
Nothing else happening here.
hi all,
congrats on Lachie & Lachie walking!
Ty can take 4-5 steps but wouldnt say he is walking just yet
he did however stand up today on hiw own without pulling himself up onto anything!! he was very proud of himself.
he is a little clminber too, keep finding him on top of things, he can now get on and off the lounge, and attempting many other things.
my AF is so much worse these days when it hits it hits with a vegance, anyone elses worse than pre children?
Hi everyone
It's been tough trying to get Max back into the right time zone and I'm really feeling pretty tired...not to mention annoyed at this Perth rain! I was supposed to be coming back to sunshine!
Holiday went well apart from minor glitch at the start staying with my cousin. She basically made me feel I was more of a distraction (aka pain in the ar$e) and pretty much asked me and Max to leave! We'd already got the hint and re-organised anyway....but sheesh...family!!!! Lucky I had other reliable cousins and aunties / uncles to look after us!!! Needless to say I don't think I'll be emailing her anymore!
Max was really good on the flights. He was good in the basinette but I had to take him out if there was turbulance....even just a pathetic amount of the stuff.....so I had to wake him a couple of times which was annoying. We got to come back on the new A380 so that was a much more comfy ride....more space and Max slept 8 hours of a 12 hour flight which was bliss!
Hope everyone is well....I have read (quickly) about loads of walking bubs...how COOL. Max is a little way off but has JUST started letting go while standing....but still crawls majority of the time but is cruising the furniture like a trooper!
Well must go, need to call Gymbaroo and cancel today....Max is asleep while we should be going out....I can't wait for him to be 'normal' again!
Julia glad Max was good during the flights.
How crummy of your cousin, What a nightmare that would of been if you didn't have any other family that could take you in.
Trish Maddi loves the bassinette. She's always playing with the buttons & she even climbs in the bottom carrier and plays there lol.
Maddi has also gone back to waking early & not sleeping through. Maybe she's just preparing me for all those newborn wake-ups.
hello ladies
just wanted to pop in and say hello and also tell becky that i saw her kids in thats life magazine :D cuties but the photo is a bit old, chelsea isnt 10 months anymore haha
Hey everyone! Thought I'd better post before our thread disappears forever LOL!
I'm busy packing today, we're going away to Queenscliff for the weekend. No caravan this time! Our friend's have invited us to stay in their holiday house so it should be fun.
K is going well, cruising everywhere. I'm not sure when he'll start walking, but I think he's a while off yet. I'm in no hurry! He absolutely LOVES music, he makes his toys play a song and bops along and if I start singing he bops and makes clicking noises, so cute! I hope I have a little musician on my hands, I absolutely love music and come from a very musical family.
Mo - I'm glad Maddi loves the bassinette! I hope Cookie likes it just as much LOL! I hope Maddi starts sleeping through again, maybe she's teething?
Julia - Welcome back! It sounds like Max is an awesome traveller! How annoying about your cousin, I'm glad you found someone else to stay with.
Nic - Tyron sounds like he'll be walking properly any day! AF has been so weird since it came back, I haven't had a regular cycle yet and it's much heavier, but doesn't last as long, bizarre!
Saffi - Yuck, 5am wake ups sound terrible! I hope L pops a tooth and goes back to sleeping a bit more again!
Misskate - How cool you found Becky in a mag!
Hi to everyone else! Better run, got lots to do before we leave this arvo :)
hi everyone
Mo - I think Tahlia is going to be scared of Santa too. We walked past him at the shops last weekend and from a distance she was ok, but the lady told us to bring her closer so when we got close she burst into tears! The lady told us to come and visit everytime we are at the shopping centre in the hope we get used to him. I was there again on Wednesday and we went to have a look but a little kid was screaming on his lap so we got out of there quickly!
Trish - have a great weekend away! Hopefully the rain holds out for you!
Julia - welcome back to Oz!
Saffi - how cute that L's carers were excited to see him walk. Yesterday at my MG all the kids were walking around, and it looked so strange!
Not much new with us, I am slowly increasing my cloth nappy stash, so Tahlia is almost full time in them now, except when DH changes her. I think he is scared of cloth cause he always puts her in a sposie! She has been waking much earlier than usual, this morning was 6 am, but some mornings its even earlier than that! I hate getting out of bed that early! I think the birds singing is waking her up! Grrr!
Have a good weekend everyone!
Hey all!
Thanks Kate!!! Yeah my Nan rang me as soon as she saw it too... LOL. I went to the shop today and bought 5 copies.. No idea why... but I just had to. Yeah the pic is pretty old, I sent it in AGES ago, and then forgot about it. LOL...
How is everyone? We are good here!! Not much to report though really. Chels is just waking up so I will be back later for personals.!!
