Willow - As L is at DC 4 days a week his routine is lunch at 11amish, down for nap from 11.30am (tho he may actually fall asleep around 12, and sleeps until 2 - 2.30). So usually a 2 - 2.5 hour sleep a day. On our days we usually put him down earlier around 10.30am/11am and he will sleep until around 12.30pm/1pm. He goes to bed at 7pm.
Tiff - lets hope your instincts are right. Hope your TTC journey is quick.
Kim - nice to hear from you. How are your little family going? Great about Jasmine's eating.
Amelia - think Mum is coming up for the birth, so either she or MIL will look after L. I doubt DH will be staying with me in the hospital this time so between them they'll look after him.
15kgs is a very healthy weight. Sounds like his growth has slowed right down from the early days. L is 12kgs atm and I do worry how I will be able to lift him in the later stages of pregnancy. Fortunately he is walking/running well so won't be such an issue.
Kaz - sorry that the sleep hasn't improved.
Mo - not good about your mum's care at hospital. How much longer will she be in for?
Kellie - love the new photo of T.
Trish - I could just imagine the headlines in the paper if something happened and you were literally just down the street. We have a carport so can't leave L in the car as tempting as it is cos we haven't mastered transferring from car to cot without waking him up completely. The clothesline/letterbox is as far from him as I will get while he is asleep.
Hi Amber!
L is finally starting to talk more. I am pretty sure he said truck on the weekend, he has said toilet at daycare and DH said he said mumma today (tho I didn't hear it!).
That's it from me for now
I was all booked in for my c/section, so we had my Mum stay with Mia. We went in first thing and Tay was born in the afternoon. My parents brought Mia in, but I was really sick after and can't really remember anyone being there. I remember feeling so guilty having another baby when I had a baby already! It was sooooooo hard leaving Mia. I was breaking my neck to get home to her after Tay was born. I had Tay Thursday afternoon and left hospital Saturday afternoon! Next time (if there is a next time), I think I will stay longer. A break now would be lovely
Amelia when i had Jasmine my parents were staying so they were able to watch Chelsea and luckily she was in bed when i left (9pm). With Zachery i called my friend when i was ready to leave for the hospital (2am) and she drove over and picked them up and took them to her place until the next afternoon when she bought them to the hospital so DH could take them home.
Saffi we are going great. Chelsea is loving Zachey so much, she is like his mummy when im busy doing other things. Jasmine adores him as well and looks after him like a great big sister. They both feed him and he giggles all the time at them (who wouldnt...they are clowns...LOL).
Amelia We dropped Maddi off at her great Aunty's, the night before i had my waters broken. The other times i was admitted to hossy, we also dropped her at her great Aunty's.
I discussed it with my mum over breakky this morning cause we are staying here till we move this weekend and she suggested going in on a friday and having the c/s and dropping rhys off at daycare once i get him booked into one and she can pick him up that night and look after him for the weekend and I will come home on the sunday sometime!! I would be totally happy with that. She is a very smart women....Never thought of it like that .... lol!!
Hello again ladies,
I can't beleive how much I had to read to catch up on everyone and I was only in here yesterday arvo! hehehe
Day sleeps - Tiera has one but could do with two. She is up at 7ish and goes down at about 11 she'll sleep anywhere from 1.5-3 hrs. when she only has 1.5 she desperately needs another by late afternooon, but I refuse to put her down any later than 3:30 as then she wakes too late and is up half the night. As selfish as it may sound, nights are for me time and hubby wifey time so I don't want her up until late. If she has a good night sleep and a decent day sleep then she is right as rain. If I can hold her out for a nap until 12/1ish it is so much better, but not always doable.
I think it is just so gorgeous having so many pregnant people and brand new babies around here. Most of you seem to be getting all organised for your new additions... It is such an exciting time for you all!!!
Tiera went back to swimming this morning. I didn't take her the first term back, so she loved it! DH's grandparents are here atm so I took them along to watch, which they loved.
Well not much really to report... Tiera had another terrible sleep last night. Our smoke alarm battery has been low and beeps at us through the night and thats whats been waking her up. I get soooo mad as DH needs to bring over a ladder to reach it (we have a really high roof and we're both shorties!), but during the day it stops beeping and we forget about it. Last night I lost my cool and wanted to bang my head against the wall! lol DH had the battery replaced before I even got up this morning! lol God love him!!!
Ok ladie well I hope you all have a great day
Mo - I hope everything is ok with your mum and you get the info you are needing.
Take care all
Amelia is there a reason your going for another c/s....?
Sounds like a great plan your mum thought of....thumbs up for a smart chicky!
KIM - My BP has been high since day dot and we have it under coontrol now but if I get GD again they said that it would be a definate c/s then cause the two don't mix with 1. a scar and 2. whatmy blood pressure might rise too.
Wait to get into see another Ob/Gyn to get a second opinion.
Wo...chatterboxes!
Max has 1 nap.....he wakes at 6:30am (wish he'd go just a little longer) and I give him lunch at 11:30am and push him through to 12 for a nap...he usually sleeps for about 2 hours....1 hour on his elmo couch and the other lying on me while I catch up on TV shows!! I know how slack!
It really is nice 'seeing' all the new babies around here and hearing that more may be on the way....We are trying when you aren't trying IYKWIM! If it happens then YAY, if not, then next time!

I am very glad to say it appears my boy is back today :) I put him down for his nap closer to 1pm and didn't hear a peep out of him. Slept for about 1 hr 45 but hey, I'm not complaining after yesterday! Especially when it appears he's gone back to waking up at 7.30am after waking earlier for a while after daylight savings finished. So hopefully he's on his way back to sleeping 12.5-13hrs overnight.
Busy room ... great to see so many people back and chatty again! I love it. As for all the impending arrivals its very exciting. Hopefully we will join your group soon :crossfingers:
Kaz sry we missed playgroup. Took Kodi to the Chiro & then went & saw my Mum.
Willow yay for getting your boy back, I wish my big little girl would come back lol.
Amelia good luck with getting a 2nd opinion. Hope you get the news u want.
AFU-Maddi still being a terror but at least she makes us laugh when she's throwing a tanty.(She's throwing some pretty good ones lately lol)
I can't get over how much she is picking up now, we have been teaching her animals noise's & body parts. She's picked so many new words. She's becoming a real little person, She mimics everything we do. Even trying to b/f her dolly when it's crying or putting it down her top like it's in a HAB it's so cute.
Kodi has been throwing up so much lately, even chucking while she's on the boob last feed she chucked 5 times. So we are off to the Dr's this arvo to get her looked at.
My mum is back in the nursing home, Still not talking much, but seems to be doing ok. At least i know the nurses are taking better care of her there.
Hi all! Sorry have been MIA!
Mo love the nickname Kodi! Maddi sounds like Myles! Cheeky monkeys they are! Hugs to your mum!

Mo Hope your mum gets better care and hope you get to the bottom of spewchops! Saw your new FB pics....I still say those blue eyes are going to stay!

Julia i hope so, i'm still expecting them to change tho.
Kodi has to see a Pead, hopefully we can find a reason for her excessive chucking.
Hi everyone
Amber - nice av! Looking good!
Mo – hope the paed has some answers for you
AFM, have just been offered 3 days work a week at a place I worked out about 4 years ago. I had been looking for work so this is good news, but I feel so sad leaving my baby! Especially as she was crying when I picked her up from daycare yesterday.... waaahhhh
Hi everyone!
K had his 18 month check up at the MCHN today. He is doing really well, he's put on 2kg since his 12 month check :o and has grown 6.5cm since then too. It's amazing how fast they grow at this age! He is currently about 11.6kg and on the 50th percentile for weight and height so he is just perfect :). I had a look at Joel's 18 month stats when I got home and he was almost exactly the same as K! He was 11.5kg and they were both 82cm and had the same head circumference. How funny! They look and act so differently, but are obviously brothers.
Both boys and DH & I have come down with colds, nothing too bad at this stage. K woke every half an hour between 11pm and 2am last night, yuck! I gave him some Panadol at 2am and he didn't wake again thank goodness. Tonight I'll be giving him Panadol before he goes to bed! I think he must have a sore throat which was waking him up, when he finally got up he was really thirsty.
Kellie - Woohoo on getting some work! It must be so hard to leave Tahlia at DC, but she will get used to it and soon she'll absolutely love it :).
Mo - I hope the paed can find the source of poor Kodi's chucking. Hopefully the chiro visits will help too. I'm glad your mum is back in the nursing home and getting good care again.
Amber - I love seeing your new avvy, you look so gorgeous :D. I like how mine has a pink dress on, it's like it signifies the girl bump LOL!
Willow - I'm glad L is back to sleeping normally again! How's his leg going? How long does he have to wear his cast for?
Julia - Max's lunchtime snuggle naps with you sound so nice :). What a great excuse not to do anything for a while!
Amelia - I hope your BP goes down, it must be worrying to have to keep an eye on it all the time.
Pish - I hope Tiera has been sleeping a bit better for you. How annoying about the smoke detector!
Kim - Chelsea sounds like a great big sister :)
Saffi - That's great that L is saying more words now, it's so cute when they learn new ones! K's main phrase is still "what's that?" LOL. Most of the time though it's "Mum? What's that?", it's so cute!
Hi to anyone I've missed! K has woken from his nap and doesn't sound happy so I'd better go get him!
