Hee hee, I could really hear Grover when I read your "hello everybod-eeee!" Amber . How awesome you got to hear Pinky Mckay speak! How's the bump going, are you popping right out yet?
Paycyn - That's so cute that Kaleb was celebrating himself! I love the cute things they come out with :D
Julia - Woohoo on arriving safely in Singapore!!! Enjoy your new home, I can't wait to hear all about your upcoming adventures!
Saffi - I hope you're not doing any hard labour during the packing! Re: toilet training, I don't think K's ready yet. I have tried him on the potty and on the toddler toilet seat with a step thingy and he didn't like the feel of it, so I think it's a while off yet! Hopefully he will be easier than Joel was!
Celtic - LOL @ Ryan rolling over with his legs in the air! "Change me NOW mum!". I hope you are resting up as much as you can atm you poor love.
Mo - I hope today has been a bit better for you. These hard times won't last, I promise :). Hopefully thinking about a trip to QLD will cheer you up and keep you going!
Willow - I did see that thread about the flannel sheets and thought "What the?". I used them with both my boys without realising there could be a problem. I still think I'd use them with this bub though!
All is going well here, I had a bit more energy today so have been busy getting things done. I can't seem to sit still and constantly think of new projects to tackle before the bub arrives! I'm actually running out of things to do LOL! I just wish the house would stay tidy for 5 minutes and I'd be a content woman :p.
The boys are going away again this weekend, leaving Friday night so I have another weekend all to myself, woohoo! I can't wait to have some sleep ins :D
Well, I'd better go put Joel to bed. He just got back from taking our dog to the vet with DH. Jasper (our dog ;)) has kennel cough, we thought it was improving, but then today he was sounding terrible again so DH took him to get some AB's. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon the poor woofa. We've had him for 6 1/2 years and he's never been sick until now. It seems to be going around because my friend's dog up the road also has kennel cough. Anyway, that was a boring ramble wasn't it?!
Night all *mwah*
-
Saffi- No they won't fire me on the fact I'm pregnant they will fire me based on the fact I won't be there 12 months by about 1 week to qualify for maternity leave so when I have the baby I will be fired on the fact I have no leave. It's a technicality and was brought in with all those work reforms to protect business from those evil mums that get jobs and pop babies! <insert sarcasm>
Amber - Haha, yes but at least they would tire each other out! :). How are u feeling?
Trish - can I come live with you? Ryan can go with the boys!! Hehe. How are you feeling? Still got an energy kick or did that die pretty quick? I'm ok thanks just my throat still really hurts slight dry cough nothing major... just when you need to talk to stupids.. I mean students all day and a boss that doesn't listen to you so you need to repeat everything you say about 10 times the voice box ends up a bit crackly :). I figured out a way to keep the house tidy for more than 5 minutes... be a single, childless woman with no animals... hahaha, other than that, doesn't happen ;).
-
Amber if Phil comes then we will stay in a hotel for night, i don't expect you to put all 4 of us up sweetie ;)
He's such a baby when it comes to planes, that i'm all most positive he wont come lol
Maddi still refusing water, she will drink little bits so i guess that's something.
Kodi now has a head cold & a cough, Poor bubba can't breathe through her nose & we were up at 3:30 because she was so stressed out.
My dry cough has turned chesty, so over it, I go into hossy on Sat for my iron infusion hoping i'll feel more human after that & that i'll have the stregnth to fight the infection off.
I'll bbl for personals gotta take K for her 3 month check up in 20 mins & M still isn't dressed.
ETA-Trish hope Jasper improves soon, Enjoy your weekend. I'd love a sleep in, even a 8am wake-up would be nice lol
Celtic That's a great way to keep the house clean lol. I don't even bother doing a clean up till M is in bed. Without a doubt the house is a mess within 10mins of a clean up if she's a wake.
Glad to hear your getting better.
Amber glad you had a good time at Pinky Mckay.
Well the visit to the health nurse went as well as i thought it would.
Maddi's eating habit's having come back to bite her in the bum, she's losing weight, so we need to see a dietician & a paed if the Dr will give us a referral.
Kodi only gained 60g in 3wks, so good news all round

hi everyone
All this talk about setting up nurseries and babies makes me want one!
Saffi - I know what you mean about being exhausted... my housework is really getting out of control! There have been many nights when the dishes from dinner are still in the sink in the morning!
Julia - glad the move went well
Amber - I've seen Pinky before too, a toddler tactics workshop, she was so inspiring I also bought her toddler tactics book!
Trish - have a great weekend and have lots of sleep ins and afternoon naps too!
Mo - I cant believe K is already 3 months!
Not much new with us... Tahlia was being very quiet in her room the other day, so i went to see what she was doing. She had pushed her door closed and was sitting ont he floor pulling all of her nappies apart. When she saw me she came and held me hand, led me out of the room, and when I was out, ran back in and closed the door again... cheeky monkey!
We're off to see the Dorothy the Dinosaur and friends show on Monday so I am looking forward to that
Hope everyone is well!
-
Mo- GL on saturday hope it makes you feel better and helps kick that cough :). Nothing worse than a chesty cough they take forever to go.. just in time to catch another of course hehe. Best of luck with the drs I'm sure you're girls will be fine they have a wonderful mum looking after them :)
Kellie - ohhh aren't they cheeky things, bet you couldn't stay angry long with a smile like that :).
-
Mo  Hope you can get the girls feeidng well again! I wish you could all fit here but wiht the nursery and Myles room set up we have no more space but see how you go! It might be nice for Phil to come then Geoff wont feel left out :)
Kellie thats soo cute! I love when they are quiet and you know truoble is abrewing! Todler tctics is great! I am re reading it now!
Trish hope your doggy gets better  Enjoy your weekned alone! I am hanging for one of them :) I kinda have abelly now and need to get out the fat clothes :P
Celtic hows the pregnancy going? Will you have a scan soon?
Not much happening here! Mylesd is having his day sleeps all by himself which is great! We are off to maroochydore this weekdn for a protest against them shutting down the last watersking area, well its more Dh he just wants me there!
-
Amber - Yay for Myles with his daysleeps.....Good news is Max is doing his day sleeps now too....2 hours in his big boy bed (with Elmo & Grover!) Night time he still calls out, but I'm hoping it's due to the pointy teeth making their appearance. Maybe once teething is over things will calm down. He's such a sensitive little bug!
Kellie - you clucky huh! ME TOOO! Def going to start trying next month....EXCITING! That is CUTE what Tahlia did! They are getting into a megga cheeky stage ATM...I'm loving it!
Mo - BUM about M & K's weight. Does M just not want to eat ANYTHING? Sorry that I can't suggest anything! Can tell ya though that Maxy loves those packet pasta things (continental things) and I mix veggies through it. It's sauce he likes I think...especially cheesy sauce! GOOD LUCK and hope you get over your cold and stuff too.....what a rubbish time!
Trish - Kennel Cough...not boring! Charl had it once...It's like a doggie cold I think. His case was mild but it can get pretty awful. Hope your pooch gets better soon!
Well Max went to his new friends birthday party today.....hanging at the pool with fountains, and running around like crazy while eating banana cake. He's having fun here so far I think....he's been REALLY good the last couple of days. Really affectionate, and not grumping it over much. It's making me happy too....Sigh...if it weren't for being away from my family and my pooch!!!!
Well...better go....Hi to all!
-
Amber- hope you have a ok time at the protest and it doesn't get too rough! Take care of yourself :) I'm sure we'll see you on the news taking out some of the beurocracy with some kung fu moves hehe. I had a scan at 9 weeks for dating, other than that I'm mostly "ignoring" the pregnancy, as little drs as possible and just see how I go, will get the 20week morphology & maybe a 3D at 30+ weeks, will see how the finances are :).
Julia- glad Max had a lovely time and is being an angel for you, cherish it there will probably be more teeth or a snuffle around the corner :) hehehe. How have you been? Snuffle free?
-
Julia woohoo Maxy:leap: Thats great! Myles has to wqtxh pinochio and have his brobi doll as much as i dont like letting him watch a dvd before his sleep it works and he eventually wont need it :) Singapore sounds wonderful! Maybe we should visit at christmas when we get or holidays?????
Celtic I found myslef forgetting i was pregnant and DH would have to remind me when I woudl go to eat something I shouldnt :) I promise you there will be no kung fu action I am not passionate about it like DH is if it was for something I believe in then maybe the karate chop may come out!
Well a bit of a yucky morning with Michel jackson dying hey.And ds was up at 3:30 and wouldnt go back to sleep Argh!
Have a good day ladies :)

Sorry of have been MIA, been popping on and just have had no get up and go to post. Even am not on facebook as much, well slightly less, and that is saying something as I am sure I am an addict. But bed is my bestfriend at the moment, I cannot get enough sleep!
So I have decided I am going by my original edd of the 5th of Feb. When I had my scan it was hard to tell and he thought I was a week behind that, but looking at the ultrasound pic he has not measure properly and it was just a week difference so I am sticking with my original date. He said to come back in a few weeks and they would do it again, but if I have the downs test at 10 and ultrasound at 12 weeks, I think that will be surfice. Still undecided as to whether to have it, has anyone else?
Amber - oh I hate those early starts! He might sleep heaps today and you can get a nanna nap in!
Celtic - did you have 3d last time? We haven't and are thinking about it this time! I have had mixed reports about them!
Julia - glad you are settled and Max is making friends. It is hard being away from family, so I hope that the homesickness does not hit you 2 hard x
Kellie - Tay has been a bit destructive as well, but it is more hide anything that she can write on walls with in our house!
Mo - I hope things pick up with Maddi soon, it is frustrating when they don't eat and you can see the weight fall off of them. Tay is such a good eater, vegies, any vegies, it makes me proud. Specially when Mia is such a poor eater, she won't eat anything! Frustrating!
Trish - how are the energy levels? Half ya luck, cannot wait to get some energy back!
Saffi - how is the moving going?
Paycyn - how is Kaleb going in his big bed?
:hello: to everyone I have missed!
-
Thanks Ladies :)
We have M's dietician appt next Thrusday & have a Paed appt booked for Aug 11th, but i'm hoping things will be better by then & we wont need to go.
M will eat, she try almost anything you give her, but she only has a few mouthfuls before spitting it out.
Today we have eaten an Apple, half of a small bowl of noodles, & a yoghurt bar.
Yesterday she ate 1 & half weetbix, no lunch & 2 tiny mouthfuls of chicken.
Kaz i hope you get some energy soon, i really hate the 1st tri exhaustion,
Amber i'd love for Phil to come up, it would be nice to have a break even if it's only for a weekend.
Julia so glad your all settling in well, must be a relief. So what do you do for fun over there?
-
Hi everyone
Celtic - I am so less focussed on this pregnancy than I was last time. I think because we are now experienced in pregnancy (and after) that its not all consuming like it was. Also, for me anyway don't need to get anywhere near the amount of stuff we did for L. Earlier on I had to remind myself I actually was pg.
Kaz - sorry to hear that you are so tired. That's the first tri for you. As you know it does get better.
We move on Monday. DH and I had today off so we could pack and clean. Instead we went shopping. It was nice to have a day to ourselves as L is at daycare.
Kellie - how cute of Tahlia. Sounds like she is a girl who knows what she wants.
Mo - Hope you get some answers when you get to the Drs.
Julia - sounds like you are both settling into life in Singers. So jealous of you. Look forward to an announcement in the near future.
Hi to everyone else.
We bought a pram today. Ended up getting the P&T Sport. We were a little spooked by what we read about the Vibe's wheels needing replacing. While it isn't as flash as the vibe it is everything that we need and cost a lot less. We tested it in the car and it actually takes up less room than my suppossed smaller, lighter weight pram. I was so against them and now I have come around. Going to start to use it straight away so L gets used to being in it before bubs arrives.
Anyway, got to do the packing and cleaning this weekend. L is spending the weekend with the PILs so at least we won't have him unpacking everything we pack.
Probably be off line from Monday to Friday next week so I'll have a lot to tell you and catch up on when we get back online.
-
Trish- very cute of K! Tyron has been doing the same thing coming to me saying "boar" his interpretation of poo! and hold his bottom, he'll take me to his room and actually can climb the change table.....
Ty has been off his food since coming abck from melb and the last 3 nights really got upset at bed time, i think his 2yr old molars are on their way, doesnt surprise me seeings he got all his teeth early. he had also been super clingy and wants to be held all the time.
saffi- ive got the P&T too, very good for baby & toddler and 2 toddlers! Nix doesnt sit in it much anymore but when he sits in the back he kicks his poor brother.... but with only 18m between the two it has had a good work out with the 2 of them
-
Saffi - I was going to get a P&T pram for Singas, but decided on babyjogger instead...it just seemed a bit stronger. It has room for a toddler seat too.....JUST IN CASE :)
-
Nerida - I have a P&T Sport in the camo blue. I love it!! Has been a very good pram to us. We were going to sell it and get the new vibe but after looking at the vibe the sport is alot stronger I find. The only down side to the sport is that it doesn't fold with the toddler seat attached at the rear, whereas the vibe does!!

Hi everyone!
I am having a lovely, luxurious weekend all to myself, aaahhhhh... I took myself shopping and bought a cute maternity jumper, came home and watched a DVD while eating Caramello Koalas, then had a big soak in the bath while reading a book all before dinner! Think I'll watch another DVD tonight, I can't remember the last time I've had time to sit through a whole movie LOL! Tomorrow will be another lovely lazy day before the boys come home and put me to work again .
Nic - Hopefully Ty gets his appetite back again soon. The poor thing. I think K might be getting his 2 year old molars too, they seem very nasty!
Saffi - Yay for getting a new pram! How's the packing going? How awesome that your PIL's can take L for the weekend :D.
Mo - You're doing a great job with the girls! It must be so hard trying to get Maddi to eat . I hope it's a phase that passes really quickly for you.
Kaz - You poor thing, I remember that tiredness well. Just remember it doesn't last! My dating scan at 8 weeks was really out too. My later scans at 12 and 20 weeks were much more accurate.
Mo - How is your protest weekend going?!
Celtic - It's funny how you don't focus on subsequent pregnancies like you did the first time! The third time is an absolute non-event LOL! I haven't had time to bask in being pregnant or think about it as much as I did the other times. I feel a bit guilty actually!
Julia - Wow, Max sounds like he is having a fantastic time already in Singapore! And yay for those great day naps!
Kellie - LOL, Tahlia is so cheeky! Your story made me laugh :D
Well, better get back to all this relaxing! I do miss my boys, but I really am enjoying some "me" time. I had forgotten what it feels like!
-
Trish - I think I am almost literally green!! Mr L has been hard work today and I'd kill for a few days of peace and quiet! Glad to hear K was well enough to go along with the boys :) I did get out on my own this morning for a few hours and had a coffee and got my nails done so shouldn't complain too much. We're also having a kid free afternoon tomorrow, going to Ikea and yum cha for lunch. MIL is having the kids for the afternoon.
Saffi - yay on the new pram! I decided to just get a cheaper double stroller. I've already spent so much money on prams and I doubt L will be in a pram for much longer so couldn't justify the expense.
Julia - Glad to hear you've arrived safely and are settling in.
Celtic - I agree with Trish, wait till you get to #3, it seriously feels like it's not even happening most of the time!
Mo - Hope Maddi starts enjoying her food again soon...must be stressful for you. How is your mum going?
Kaz - hope you're getting plenty of rest...remember the 2nd tri is much better!
Big hello to everyone else!
Think my pair may be getting sick again, nothing serious at this stage but sleep time with the boy hasn't been fun the last two days and he's been coughing and has a runny nose :wall: DD woke up this morning telling me she had a sore throat and has a runny nose too. I got a txt from a friend last night saying all of her kids are sick and we spent quite a bit of time with them last week so wouldn't be too surprising.
So far we're averaging a cold/flu/croup every second week :wall: I think when Boo arrives we're going into quarantine
-
LOL Willow, don't be jealous! I'll be posting on Monday about how cranky my over-tired boys are . That's the downside of them going away for the weekend, they come back all grumpy because they played so hard. Yes, thankfully K seemed fine by the time they were all leaving, so I sent him along. I actually think he is teething which was causing the problems I was worried about. Oooh, a kid-free afternoon with your DH sounds awesome :D
