Julia & Amber - Tay is a whinga ninja. I said to dh today, if they next one is anything like her I am not sure what I am going to do with myself. Mental assulym maybe?!
All ok here, can't stay for longs and do personals, sorry, I am meant to be cooking dinner and just realised the time. Whoops. This weekend has been full on, dh finally got to do his skydive yesterday and then we had a birthday party today. We all had an afternoon nap though, nice! Bubs is going well if the kicks I am getting are anything to go by. It might have taken to 21 weeks (thanks to my placenta) to feel much, but bubs is making up for it now. Definately my most active to date. Actually ... it will be as no more babies for us after this one is born!
Hope you are all well and are you still with us Amber?
Chat later x
Kaz - LOL whinga ninja - I'd never heard that before. Woohoo for baby kicks. How did DH like skydiving? Not something I'd ever consider doing.
Amber - sending you labour vibes. Looking forward to hearing of nudge's arrival.
Amelia - great to hear that everything is going well with Harri.
Only two more sleeps until L's birthday. We have just made some cupcakes to send to daycare tomorrow (and if enough left on Tuesday too). Cooking with a 2 yo is a messy business. He also decorated the lollybags for his party with paint. Again a messy business. His party is on Thursday at a playcentre. Should be good fun.
Not much else happening here. Immi is doing well. She is about 5.5kgs now. Last couple of nights she's been waking at 4am which not happy about, but with DH home I've been able to have a nap during the day.
Happy 2nd birthday to Jasmine for tomorrow.
Sorry all for the lack of response, been self absorbed this week and have assignments due I don't want to have to think about. They did another scan and couldn't see anything, but my HcG doubled again so I had another scan Thursday. They found a sac in the uterus, the tubes still appear clear. They couldn't see anything in the sac though, the dr thinks its an anembryonic pregnancy, I'm still bleeding on and off so she thinks it is my body trying to get rid of it. She wants me to repeat an ultrasound in about a weeks time to see if anything is still there or not, if not then antibiotics, if so then a D&C to remove it. Talked to the midwives again (they always seem more optimistic to talk to and more reassuring, poor buggers) they seem to think theres no reason that in a weeks time I won't see a little heart beat. The drs think otherwise.
New theory because my HcG is so high for how far along I am they think I may have been pregnant with twins with my family history, and that one m/c while the anembryonic held on, because most of the bleeding is from the other side of the uterus. In which case I have to take my temperature twice a day as they are worried about infection, not that I really have been...opps!
So that's my week, hope everyone elses was very uneventful! :)
Lauren
Happy birthdau to all our gorgeous bubs being 2 is the best I am told by Myles he always wants to party :)
Am still here the size of an elephant :) Hopefully not much longer!
Have to go rest now am super tired  xxx
Amber - I hope the end is near for you!
Celtic - Not knowing is the worst part. Sometimes I think the midwifes no more than the doctors, especially gp's. Ooops .. did I say that out loud? I just hope that whatever the outcome, you are ok! Big hugs xx
Saffi - He loved it and would do it again. But he is already talking of the next adventure, hot air ballooning and wants me to do it with him (after having the bub of course). Me not so keen! I would actually prefer to jump out of a plane! Well done on letting help L get sorted for his birthday .. patience is a virtue huh? I tried cooking with Mia, that went fine, but Tay woke and joined in ... let's just say I finished it alone and let them lick the bowl and spoon!
Kaz - I like the idea of hot air ballooning but I think I'd need a bit of champagne to settle the nerves. The cupcakes turned out well and they are iced and have been sent off to daycare. I guess you have to expect that anything a toddler touches will become a mess.
Celtic - good news that it wasn't an etopic pregnancy. So are the MW saying that you could still could have a viable pregnancy? Must be really hard not knowing and having to go through all the tests.
Off to do some ironing and washing while Immi is settled. We were up at 5am this morning so hopefully she will sleep for an hour or so now.
Have a good day.
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted recently, it's been so hard to sit down long enough to type. All is going well, just busy!
Well it looks like I won't be seeing K on his birthday :(. Everyone going camping with DH and the boys (BIL and two other friends) seemed to think I was strange for wanting to see my little man on his birthday. I felt like such a wet blanket for everyone that I told DH he could take the boys on Friday arvo. I am so sad about it, but I don't want to be the bad guy ruining everyone's weekend away, even though it's an extended long weekend and they'll be coming home on Tuesday. DH was OK with leaving on Saturday morning because he knows it would mean a lot to me, but no one else understood so I gave up. I know they'll have a great time and I don't want to limit their time away by selfishly wanting to give K a cuddle on his birthday. DH and I will make a big deal for their birthdays on Thursday night instead. We also gave them their trampoline (still not assembled though LOL) yesterday morning as an early pressie. I did a treasure hunt with rhyming clues for Joel to find it. He loved it! I think he liked the treasure hunt more than the trampoline LOL!
Oh well, I guess I'll have many more birthdays to cuddle K. I just have to get over myself!
Saffi - Ick @ the 5am wake up today. I hope you get a little nap in for yourself!
Kaz - I'm glad Bruno got to do his skydive! I'd love to go up in a hot air balloon one day! I used to house sit for friends in Coldstream and the balloons were always overhead. I think it's pretty exxy though.
Amber - Not long to go now! I hope Nudger arrives on Friday or Saturday so he/she can share their birthday with one of my boys LOL! I'm sure you want him/her here earlier though ;). Who is posting your BA?
Celtic - You poor thing . I hope you get some answers soon, there is nothing worse than not knowing.
Mo - I hope the girls are being good to you!
Amelia - Glad to hear Harrison is going well!
Willow I hope you have been getting a bit more sleep overnight since your last post. Multiple wake ups are sooo tiring.
Julia - Yep, K can have his whingy moments. He is tired today and has been a bit of a grump. He wants his dummy and blankie everywhere he goes which means he is out of sorts. He stashed his blankie in the dog's kennel earlier, ewww...
Well, I'd better go. Alana has woken from a "nap", if you can call it that! She is not a fan of day naps atm and isn't sleeping for very long. Oh fun...
Have a great day everyone!
Hi everyone,
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry that I have been MIA for a while. Crazy life, crazy toddler and a very unsettled bub have made it almost impossible for me to sit down at the computer in the last 3 months.
Well here's where I am at - hope I don't bore you all. Little bubba Daniella we have finally worked out has cows milk protein intolerance and really bad reflux. She is now on neocate which has made the world of difference. She is now a very happy little bubby and sleeps! It took a long time to work it out but now makes sense as I am dairy intolerant and Ethan was on soy formula till 6 months. At 10 weeks I worked out she had had 3 ultrasounds, an x-ray, a contrast x-ray, a biopsy,a blood test and a urine test for one thing or another. Well at least she is well now.
Ethan is now 2! And boy is he acting like it. Here is my question for the day - does anyone else have a toddler who hits, kicks and pushes Mummy? Can't seem to get through to him. He doesn't do it to anyone else. Some days he is out of control. I love him so much but don't like him a whole lot at the mo.
Glad to hear that lots of little ones are enjoying their 2nd b'day.
Booked a scan in for the 4th November, I then find out if it is viable, if my body has m/c, or it is anembryonic *sigh* over it already and the pregnancy hasn't even started. If I am preg I don't think I will be all that excited till the 20wk mark after Dylan, it's so scary not knowing what you're body has install for you. I bought a aquamarine braclet on ebay, it's meant to help prevent m/c, will let you know if it works... hey I need a little false hope ok ;)
Sorry no personals again, and self absorbed again, so tired, need sleep ugg ugg...
Willow - LOL about a bad night with new bub is like a good night with old one. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were pulling our hair out with grizzly babies, hey?
Saffi - I promise I will try to pop in more often!
Celtic - good luck hun. I just can't imagine how hard the wait must be. I am sure the properties of the bracelet will help, it is best to surround yourself with positive energy! *hugs*
Everyone else - hi and hope you are having a good week.
Cant believe how many new babies there are! Once again I am one of the only ones not yet TTC#2. My mothers group are almost all preggers or due or have had second bubs. I only have 2 more BCPs to go though and then no more!
Have a great week everyone, hope to check back in soon.
Just popping in to say
Happy 2nd birthday to my precious son Lachlan.
I can't imagine my life without him and am so blessed that I am his mummy.
BBL.
:birthday2:Happy Birthday Lachlan!!!:birthday2:
I hope you have a wonderful day :D. Happy birthing day Saffi!
Dragonbub - Wow, does that mean you're TTC soon? If so, best of luck!! :D
alz - Great to hear from you, I'm glad things are settling down for you. You sound like you've been through some rough times .
Celtic - I'm thinking of you . I hope the results you get are good.
Hi to everyone else! Alana did another 9 hour stretch last night, she might have gone longer, but I woke her up because I was about to explode! She's such a good night sleeper. Her day naps aren't brilliant atm, but we'll get there.
Have a great day everyone!
Happy Birthday Lachlan.
Maddi sends you lots of birthday hugs & kisses.
I'll bbl later for personals
Happy birthday Lachlan :leap: xxxx
Still here :) Just playing the waiting game now lol!
Big hugs to everyone  xxx
Happy Birthday Lachlan x
Saffi - Enjoy your day with your birthday boy! 2 comes around so quick.
Celtic - I hope that you get some answers soon, the waiting game is never fun!
Trish - I don't think you are a wet blanket for wanting to see your boy on his birthday, far from it. Guys just don't get it. Enjoy your Thursday night and give yourself a pat on the back for putting everyone else first!
Mo - Is all ok? Have not heard or seen you for ages!
Amber - Thinking of you and I hope that your new little one makes an arrival soon for you!
Dragon - Maybe you are the smart one waiting to ttc for No 2? :D Good luck when you do go down that path!
Alz - A toddler and a baby, enough to keep anyone busy huh. We understand and we are here for when you get the chance to pop in and say hi!
Julia - How is Max?
:hello: to anyone I have missed. We are all a bit zombie like this morning. Tay has been up most of the night with a barky cough, probably bronchitis and she started off happy today, but is now miserable. I am going to dress her and put her back to bed, we have a dr's appointment at 12. I could go back to sleep myself. My baby is making life uncomfy, its sitting really low again and putting pressure which is uncomfy on me. Also cannot bend or squat as I get a really bad shooting pain up my never regions. Has anyone else experierced that? (Sorry for TMI)
Anyway have a great day girls and chat later xx
