Kellie - they told me Luka had a big head and short legs as well, but he come out looking perfect! Sometimes I wonder if they know what they are on about?! 4 weeks to go, hopefully it goes quickly for you. I remember with Tay it did, probably cause Mia was only 17 months and I was busy! Luka went even quicker after 12 weeks for me.

Mo - glad you have some answers with Kodi. Must be a relief to have a happier and healthier child on your hands now!

Saffi - it has been really quiet in here I know. As for the car, yeah we have the family wagon, fine for the kids, dog, equipment but not the friends. Good excuse hey! :lol:

Trish - the girls really do love their brother. Wonder when the love and admiration for him will turn into fighting like the girls do with each other? They are so bad at the moment, I am at my wits end!

Julia - all settled back in singa's? Counting down to coming home for bubs arrival I bet, what kinda time frame is that?

We're going well here, although K, Alana and I all have colds atm. Not good timing for Easter! We're going away to Inverloch again, so hopefully we'll be a bit better by then. The weather is meant to be nice so I want to feel up for going to the beach!

K is such a cheeky man, he's getting a bit to smart for my liking LOL! This morning we had this conversation after I passed him an apple:
K - "It's yucky mum"
Me - "No it's not yucky".
K - "Yes it is" *drops apple on the floor*
Me - "Here, let me wash it, it's yucky now"
K - "No it's not"
Me - "You can't keep saying the opposite to me Kieran"
K - "Yes I can!"

By that stage I was speechless LOL! I was gobsmacked that he could come up with such a quick comeback :lol:.

Alana is going well, she's pulling herself up on things so she can stand up, eek! Joel is home (school hols here) and it's been a challenge keeping him entertained on top of doing all my usual stuff around the house. He's been pretty good though. Going away will keep him happy!

Well, better go and get everyone dressed! It's nice to sit around in the morning and not have to be running around getting ready for the school run!!

How is this for a funny one? When I was helping T on the potty she said to me that boys have willies and girls have wedgies... No idea where that came from!

And the other day she told me that I make her happy... How sweet!

Hope everyone had a great easter & the little ones didn't eat too much choccie.

Everyone is doing well here, K had a little bit of choc yesterday & broke out in a rash later that night.
Not sure if it was Choc or a delayed reaction to her 12 month needles tho.
Maddi is doing really well, she has become a parrot & now we have to watch everything we say.
She's caught us out a few times but luckily she hasn't repeated it.

The girls did well for Easter, I hid all the choc last night & M has forgotten all about it today, so more choc for me :D Kodi got clothes & money and M got Clothes, Money, a DVD & Chocolate.

Kellie are you going in for an induction or you going to let nature do it's thing?

Mo - still havent decided.... I dont know what to do! I'm worried about having the induction and then having a horrid time, but I'm also worried about not making it to the hospital in time if I have a spontaneous labour! Also the organised person in me likes the thought of induction as it means I can organise Tahlia and all the other stuff a lot better

As Mo said, hope everyone had a great easter & the little ones (and the mummies) didn't eat too much chocolate!

Kellie i know hard the decision is, but i know you'll make the right one :)
If we ever have a 3rd i'll most likely be doing an induction as i can't afford not to be in hospital when i give birth.
If you go the induction route, ask if you have to be hooked up to the synto drip etc..

Mo - my ob seems to think that as T's labour was quick, all I need is for my waters to be broken, she'll then send me for a walk, and within a few hours contractions will start. She said I may need some gel as well, depending how favourable I am.

I asked about the drip and she said that she couldnt rule it out completely, but was pretty confident I wouldnt need it, but having to have it is what worries me!

Happy (belated) Easter everyone.

Had a good long weekend - my last before I go back to work. On Friday we went to the zoo, on Saturday the museum and L and M had their first train trips, and today we went to the beach. So a busy weekend here.

Easter sunday was good. The "Easter Bunny" visited at 4.15am and laid an egg trail around the house leading to L's presents. At about 6.30am L was woken up by M's crying, saw me and of course got up. Anyway, he followed the egg trail and was so excited. The little boy next door also had an egg hunt and it was so cute to see and hear them both.

Kellie - IKWYM about wanting to be organised. As my waters broke late at night with M we had to call DH's parents for them to come and look after L. They live about 45mins away. But both my labours have been really long - so long that my Mum was able to fly from interstate and get here before either of them were born.

Anyway, tried to get us organised for the morning. Wish me luck for tomorrow.

I am quite lucky in that my parents are only 5 mins away, as long as mum is home when the time comes, she should be able to get to my place quickly. Its if she isnt home that worries me!

Mo We all go back to Perth on the 23rd April (2 days before Kellies EDD....I'll use her ticker...minus 2!) I can't WAIT! I hear you on the parrot talk.... Maxy dropped something the other day and said "Oh S*&T!" Whoops!

Kellie You are definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place....having been induced with all the drips, I wouldn't recommend that, so can understand your reservation there, but on the other hand, I can see WHY you'd want to be induced too.....planning and being organised are big to me as well! If you 'knew' that you didn't have to have the drip then I'd go for an induction too probably....but I'd definitely have to know that it wouldn't be too drug induced IYKWIM.

Saffi Good luck tomoz :) You sound like you had a fabbo weekend!

AFM - We had our 'helper' start today....weird knowing someone else is around the house, but I think it will be OK. Max isn't very well...took him to the doc thinking he might have had Hand, Foot & Mouth...he has these awful pimples around his mouth (but not inside) and couple of random spots on his hands, he also gets them in the panty region. The doc didn't think that it was it.....but I am not sure. The doctors here are so annoying....they just send you away with a load of different drugs as potential remedy for what your kid MIGHT have....it is so annoying. If it's not HF&M...then anyone have a clue what else it could be? He's had a temp, the snots, what looks like a bit of a sore throat and now he has diarrhea (sp?).....Poor monkey...he's still being hillarious though!

Kellie that's positive that she wont be forcing the drip on you. I only needed my waters broken & K was born 2hrs later, so maybe you'll be the same :)

had my ob appt this morning. Bubs is nowhere near engaged so dont think anything is happening any time soon. Discussed the induction idea again and we have booked it in for about 1.5 weeks away (keeping the date a secret!), as long as I am favourable. She is going to do an internal (yuk) to see how I am next Thursday, so fingers crossed all these braxton hicks are doing something.

anyway, i'm off to watch SYTYCD... hope Phillipe makes it into the top 4... droooooool....

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been in here for a while, just been busy. It's been school hols so I've been extra busy having Joel home and business is busy too. I hope you all had a great Easter! We went to Inverloch for the 4 days and had a great time (I'm sure you'd all probably know this due to all the pics I put on FB LOL).

We had a bit of a tummy bug last week. Joel got it on the Sunday, I got it mildly at the same time (luckily I just felt nauseous), DH got it on Thursday and K had a bit of it over the weekend. It seems to hang around! It was pretty mild luckily, although poor DH was the worst hit with awful tummy cramps. Alana has had an ear infection which has made her pretty unhappy. I'm missing my happy girl!

K is going great, still saying and doing cute things. Tonight he called out to me after I put him to bed and said "Mummy, you forgot kiss", so cute!. He LOVES going to the beach and after a trip there a couple of weeks ago he said "Mummy go beach again? Right now! Nah, just kidding Mummy!" I love this age, it's so fun!

Alana is crawling around like a pro and can pull herself up to standing now. She's growing up too fast! She loves playing outside and will stay out there for hours.

It's been nice having Joel home, I've been trying to keep him busy to keep away boredom. We've had lots of play dates and trips to the park. We always seem to run into someone we know at the shops or park, it's so good!

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all! I can't believe you're about to pop Kellie :o. You're pregnancy has gone so fast!

Hi girls, thought I better pop in and say hi in case you thought I was in a chocolate coma or something! This is my worst easter for choccy, cannot stop eating it, yum! Not helping with the kgs and I keep telling myself tomorrow will be a better day! :redface:

We went away for easter, was a great trip. Kids travelled great, 6 hours in a car is a long time but they were champions. We had to wake Luka there and on the way back for feeds, other than that he also slept. He is growing so fast, how do you keep them your baby for long I have no idea? He has a bad cold at the moment and is coughing a lot. DH has also been home sick with the same thing all week. Girls and I are fine so far touch wood!

Kellie - Wow so so so close. I can completely understand the whole induction thing, we as mums have so much more to consider when we already have kids. Good luck with it all!

Julia - How is Max? The doctors there sound as bad as some of them here. We had a weirdo the other day that took 30 minutes to do Luka and Mia's immunisations. He was so slow it was painful, he had to look stuff up online, never gives you a lot of faith when they do that!

Trish - You sound busy and I bet you are looking forward to Monday when you can get back to a routine. Mia has been bored these holiday's and really missing kinda. As am I ;)!

Saffi - Well done on the egg hunt, I wanted to do that but since we were in a motel room it was a bit hard. My sister put my nieces eggs on the end of her bed and they woke up to her being covered in chocolate, it was almost gone, through her bed ... I don't think easter bunny will make that mistake again!

Hey everyone, thought I'd pop in and say hello while I have some time to actually post rather than just read! I promise I do read often and am keeping up it's just soooo hard to find the time to post and like Amber, there's not really much for me to say most of the time!

In short, L is doing well. He is the chattiest kid on the block and his vocabulary is pretty impressive. We often get comments on how well he talks. He is still the little dare devil he always was and this weeks adventures include a trip to the ED with a split forehead (thankfully not too bad and they glued him back together for me, no stitches needed but I'm sure we'll have a lovely little scar :rolleyes:) and a panicked rescue by mum from the top wrung of a 6ft ladder at a friends place :o That kid will be the death of me :shakehead:

The rest of us are doing well. I have joined the gym and try to go 3 times a week, life with 3 kids permitting. I am really enjoying the time away and having an hour where I just don't think about anyone but me. Sounds selfish but it's something I needed. Gotta keep the balance and all that ;) People are starting to comment that I've lost weight too...bonus! :thumbsup:

We are doing renos at the moment. Last week was painting etc, this week we're putting new flooring in. Once that's done all the skirtings and door ways, windows frames etc are being replaced and then we're taking a break to save some more money and restore our sanity before doing some stuff in the kitchen and finally (after almost 3 years) finishing our ensuite.

Missy is on school hols and I have finally agreed to let her go to my parent's place up the coast without mummy and daddy for a few nights. My parents have been wanting her to have a little holiday there forever and I always said 'when she's older and at school'...well, didn't that come back to bite me in the bum :doh: We will go up on Friday to pick her up and spend a few days there too.

Bubba D is doing well. Finally crawling this week. Has been sick with a cold but is on the mend. Generally sleeping well but not sleeping through yet. We'll get there eventually (I hope!).

Well that's about it from us.

All is well here, The girls are really starting to clash. K is a fiery one & with M's stubborn personality they can really get in to it, can't imagine what they'll be like in a year or 2.
K follows M everywhere & M is always calling out to K it's so cute watching them play.

Me Because everyone will be hungry soon.
M- I'm not Hungry Mumma.

Still hanging in there mo, definitely over being pregnant at the moment! I think bub is still rather comfy so unless I go down the induction path, I don't think he'll be making an appearance any time soon!

M went to her first dance class yesterday & she loved it. She was unsure at first but by the end she was having a blast. We had to go out & buy her a uniform(can't believe how much the are) & she loved trying on the ballet slippers, thought she was such a big girl lol

Hi everyone

Bit of drama this morning. We were at MG and L was playing in a sandbox, lost his balance and fell into a retaining wall, grazing his chin. Only when I looked at it could I see there was a cut which looked pretty bad so off to the Drs. Poor little boy was crying and crying. Anyway the Dr said it wasn't too bad and used some of that glue to put it seal it up. So my little boy is bruised and bloody. The nurse who looked after him has three boys was surprised he made it to 2 and a half without needing sutures. One thing I'm sure of it won't be the last time.

Saffi poor L so glad he is ok, Must of gave you a bit of a fright.

Thanks Saffi :hug: And big hugs to poor little L....M still hasnt had stitches...hope he doesnt have to either :(

Not much new with me, feeling rather fat and uncomfortable but that is to be expected. T is in child care today so I am having a day to myself, the carpets are being dry cleaned at the moment, then this afternoon I might head to the shops and maybe treat myself to a pedicure seeing that I can't reach my toes!

:hello: to everyone I have missed.

All ok here. I am a bit whingy today as I have the worse pre-period pain. This will be my first period after Luka and I am wishing it would get here already, so I can get through the next week. I am a bit grumpy today, so normally pain, grumpiness and tiredness are the signs that it is just around the corner!

Better go and have a shower before Luka wakes. He fed at 4 and then wanted another bottle at 8, but wouldn't drink and went back to sleep. He has quiet a chesty cough, so I am hoping that he doesn't have a sore through to go with it. Will keep an eye on him. Girls are well though ... that is one plus!

I wanted the same thing for Maddi that's why i started her at this one plus the prices were reasonable & she could start 2 & 1/2.
At the end of the year there is concert, i bet Maddi wont go up on stage but it would be so cute.

Hi all! Sorry I haven't been in for a while, I've been stalking as usual though LOL! I'm so tired today so I'm slacking off atm which is why I'm in here :lol:. I've been pretty unwell this week, although I'm on the mend thankfully. I have a hiatus hernia which gave me a big reflux attack last weekend (hence the chest pain post Kaz, thanks for asking!). It was agony to eat, drink and even just swallow saliva. I was getting severe pain in the centre of my chest that would radiate through to my back whenever I swallowed something. On Monday night I was almost screaming while eating dinner :o. I also have some sort of virus which has wiped me out, not a good week! Luckily the chest pain is practically gone and I can eat without stressing - woohoo! I was so lucky, I took Alana to her chiro on Tuesday and when I told him about my hernia he offered to work on it after he'd done Alana. He did it free of charge, I love that man! I have improved greatly since seeing him, so here's hoping my hernia days are over :crossfingers:

K is going well, he's learning to ride a tricycle atm. He's talking more and more each day, he blows me away sometimes! I'm sure you're all going through the same :). Last night K and J were on the trampoline and K hurt himself. J decided to try a distraction tactic (clever boy!) and said "Look K", showing him the warning label on the trampoline. K was still crying so Joel said "It says "No farting!"", K forgot his tears and rolled around laughing at J :lol:. I was watching through the window and did my best not to laugh out loud so I wouldn't spoil the scene LOL! It's so nice to see moments like that, they fight so much nowadays!

Mo - Loved the photo of M all dressed up for dancing! She's so gorgeous :D

Kaz - Still no AF here either, I don't want it to ever come back, I'm done having kids LOL! I hope poor Luka's chest clears up, it's awful hearing a bub cough :(.

I wonder if any of you remember when I was pg with K, J had a fall and hit his mouth/teeth on a bluestone wall. There was blood everywhere and I completely freaked out! Luckily he hasn't done anything that dramatic since LOL.
