He eventually went to sleep and had a nice big one! We're trying the boys in the same room tonight - well after they both settle down and go to sleep!! hehe.

Justa quick one frome me, i am buggered from my day of work! I got so much done though and today was als first time having the girls by himself and he did really well. He even had to take them to a target shoot for charlotte! Charlotte slept most of the day though so i dont hink she is feeling great coz thats not her! Its funny to walk in and have him say 'how do you do this every day??' How much more apreciative will he be now i wonder?
Trace- sorry to hear you arent well, i hate being sick too! I hate not being able to do stuf!
Kristie- we are going to try the girls in the same room soon (not our room for a change) too. I am sick of having both of them in bed with me at the moment and al in the spare room most nights! Although it does mean i dont have to put up with his snoring !
Nikki - how are you going? how is harry? I*s chantelle better now?

Tonights our first night and they're both so tricky to get to sleep that they're seperate at the moment...I'm going to try and feed Dylan around 10.30 and then put him down in the cot...Dylans been in my bed most nights at the moment as well...he's got another 3 months of it and then I'll get tough - LOL!!! Although not sure how I'll do that when they're sharing! Wow you're brave getting them to share when you've got an extra room!!! Hope Charlotte doesn't get sick!

Well i have had a nightmare of a day today where charlotte went from 8.30am to 2pm without a sleep and she wanted to feed the whole time. I am blaming al for it though coz he sadi he just let her feed when she wanted to yesterday. She is finally asleep now but i am buggeed and havent managed a shower or to get to the shops like i needed to! I will have to go tonight now which sucks big time. I could go and check out target though i suppose. I think that if charlotte makes a habbit of feeding all day the day after i have been at work then i am definately going to go for formula. I just dont have the time or energy to sit feeding all day.
Rachel you were saying earlier that you had to go onto formula for milo why was that may i ask?
OK, got to go, the big one is yelling at me from her room!

Thankyou for your response to the ADD thing. I was told they can't diagnose it until at least 2, but Nikki, you have opened my eyes on that one. I visited the chemist, and she just noticed how he just gets out of my hands and runs, knocks things off shelves and then goes and picks them up and put them back. The funny thing there was, he noticed the nail polish stand, and began to hand her every one of them out of container. I stopped him and he ran to the hair dyes and began doing the same thing again.:) He likes to help, and if he can't he chucks beautiful tantrums, you know the ones where you just want to walk away from them and let them carry on or give them a shock and get on the floor with them and do the same. He is a handful...Sometimes I just want to cry, and other times I hold myself back from giving him the smacking of his life. Dh on the other hand doesn't hold back in the smacking department, and the little guy usually comes running to me with tear filled eyes. The little guy doesn't like to be told he can't have something you've got either, that just causes him to scream and hit out. And for someone that small to actually hurt you and laugh and run away is really not nice. He now has taken to pinching skin :cry: He does have a good side, and it comes around more than the naughty side, but it's the naughty side that scares me.
Tracey - It wasn't the swim teacher, it was 2 ladies in the class that mentioned it.

Cindy - it was around the six month mark or a week earlier that we switched to formula.
Milo was not gaining weight (<100gm in a month) My MCHN and Paed are both really supportive of b/f, which is why we waited the 4 weeks to make sure it wasn't just a bad week, or a temporary low supply or somthing like that, but it was affecting his sleeping, settling etc as well in the end. I didn't want to start him on solids yet either.
Milo was never the best feeder, he had a tongue tie that was eventually fixed at 7weeks, and a short tongue, which meant attachment was hard, painful, and he was not 'milking the breast' properly. SO I guess I always knew my supply was going to dwindle due to this, and was really rapt that we got that far.
ETA: Do you or have you wormed your bubs? what age are you supposed to start at?

Surprisingly the boys did really well last night!! Neither of them woke each other up which was amazing. Dylan woke up a few times but Louis didn't mind and then I ended up with him in the bed around 4am and stretched him to 6.45am - so he went 8 hours between feeds and I didn't have to get up to give him a feed - woohoo!!!
Dylans beign so cute at the moment - lots of smiles and a funny giggle type thing occassionally...He loves sitting and standing up and is starting to enjoy tummy time now.
Had a quiet day...sorted out Louis' swimming stuff at the pools and then we headed to eastland and had some lunch! Found a great craft set in kmart filled with crayons, stamps and stickers and stuff for only $20!!! Next time I have some money I'm going to get that and some paints and scissors to put in with his pooh bear easel I'm getting him for his b'day/christmas...
Ended up having a big snooze this arvo and Dylan woke up a little way into it and Michael brought him in and we had another hour or so snooze together - soo nice. I wish Louis would let me cuddle/snooze with him now but he just won't have a bar of it...
Cindy - Yeah - the boys have even gone down at roughly the same time tonight and it's all going well so far!! Sorry to hear you're having a tough day...Dylans been feeding 3 hourly through the day but I'm going with it if he'll have the sleep overnight after a dream feed! Hopefully she's had a sleep for you this arvo!
Melissa - I'm still in shock that people have said that to you - he sounds like a mischievous, active little toddler to me!! No different to any other...!!! Sounds like things Louis would do! The more angry I get with him the funnier he thinks it is - over the last week he's given me a couple of good slaps across the face too the little bugger. I actually smacked him on the hand the other day out of frustration and he laughed himself silly....grr!
Rachael - Louis had a tongue tie as well! We got him snipped at 2 weeks old.
I haven't wormed Louis..I have no idea when you're meant to do it...Haven't even thought of it to be honest! How safe is it to worm them or do you only do it if you're certain that they've got them??

Well i am feeling human again, thank goodness it was only a 24hr thing. I went to the docs to get certificate for work and also talk about mu u/s results. All was good so that was nice.
I learnt a big lesson today, never go out without a spare nappy. I went to the docs with just me reg handbag and when I got there the receptionist told me that they were running late, as usual. 5 mins later Jordan did the biggest, stinkiest poo. So we waited over 45 mins to see the doc and he stunk. So embarassed. Everyone thought he was cute till he went near them and they smelt him :) LOL
Krisite So glad the boys did well in the same room. It would be a great releif for you and also nice to have to bed to just Michael and yourself.
Cindy I hope the girls go well in the same room aswell. It would be great to get your husband back into the bed, minus the snoring I guess :) Did you tell Al that he needs to try and stick to a routine with the feeding so that it doesnt disrupt you the next day. You prob still be stuck on couch feeding if she was on formula anyways????? I hope it all works out for you. Will we be seeing Charlotte in the next target catalogue????? How exciting.

Well Jordan chucked a major tanty at bedtime tonight. He wouldnt put him PJs on and threw his cup of milk on the floor about 5 times before he eventually calmed down and drank it. (he so has his fathers temper)
He has a bit of a cough poor darling, he is coughing in his sleep. Can you give bubs cough medicine? Maybe we will go to the chemist tomorrow and ask.

Yep - I'm pretty sure they can have cough medicine...well I know Louis has had dimetapp for a cold and thats got a cough thing in it but I'm sure there's just a dedicated cough medicine...

Well i had a terror baby yesterday and today teh total opposite! She slept from 10 till 4am and then till 9.30, straight back to sleep till 12.45 and then again managed to put herself to sleep in 2 seconds flat and slept untill 5.30 tonight! She must have just been havinga bad day yesterday!
Well i am leaving princess victoria with her dad tomorrow while charlotte and i go out with some girls from high school for the day, we are going to ballaratt to see another of our friends from school who none of us have seen since toris birthday coz she had been rather sick and having miscarriages etc, we have just found out she is pregnant again, and has made it to 13 weeks now but is really unwell. Being pregnant causes her heart to have a funny beat and after her last bub (which she had about 5 miscarriages before) she was told not to do it again but the silly thing is willing to take the risk and do it all over. She is already on house rest (she isnt allowed to go out and about to much) and is likely to be on bed rest from about 20 weeks! So not fun! Our mission for the day though is to cheer her up a bit. It should be fun.

Well I am not too sure what to do to eat on thursday, Are you happy with party pies,sausage rolls and pastitsies again???? I am not a great cook as you all know so something simple is prob best.

Well today was really nice, I was so over all the driving though and was so close to pulling in to old melton for a coffee break on the way back but the others wanted to get home! What a heap of driving to do in one day and i was the driver coz we took als work car!
Anyway- it was great to catch up with the girls and for us all to not have our bigger and more demanding kids with us too, nice to be able to chat properly for a change.
I will ask the girls if they are free on thursday, can you email me your address again tracey - i can get myself their but not sure of the actual address to tell people! Let me know if i can bring anything!

Had a pretty good weekend! Chilled out yesterday and played Wii Bowling with Michael which was nice for the two fo us to have a laugh. My brother & SIL came around after dinner and we had a good gasbag..she's very ready to burst but naughty bubba won't engage...She's due on Wed!!! I'm getting so impatient - LOL!
Today I got a sleep in and Dad dropped around...then we watched old video footage of Louis and also from the early days of Michael and I! Sooo funny! All I could keep saying was how skinny I looked - LOL. Even though all I did was complain at the time! hehe.
Dylan was a terror tonight and didn't go to sleep until after 10pm - grrr. He's rolling heaps now from tummy to back - little terror!! He's grown heaps and is interacting with us heaps. Getting some giggles out of him to which is nice.
Up early tomorrow for Louis swimming lesson. I hope it's ok - it's going to be a major rush as the lesson is at 9am and creche starts at 9am as well. I'll have to throw Dylan at them and dash down to the pools. We'll have to be all dressed and ready to go! It's a new pool/class so hopefully Louis enjoys it.
Cindy - wow - what a rough time your friend has had/is having! Thats nice of you all to head up there!

TF is going good so far. I lost 4.8kg last week byt the official scales :) yay.

Playgroup today - which i am determined to get to coz we havent been for about 5 weeks coz other stuff keeps happening. Then i have one dirty house to sort out! I dont know how he does it but when al has tori the house is just ruined! I was saying to mum this morning that i could feed a third world country with what is on my floor at the moment! MIght just let the dog deal with that though and then mop later!
Kristie- i hope swimming went well, we have cencelled it for this term coz tori keeps mmissing classes coz she is sick anyway and has had her ear infection for weeks now so we dont want to give it the chance to get worse again!
Tracey - Nicky is coming on thurs - but kim has some work being done at her place on thurs and need sto hang around for the guys to arrive etc.
best be off while tori is chilling out in her room and get some stuff done!
