Tracey, Congratulations!!!!!!! oh yeah and welcome back, glad the rest of the holiday was good too! lol
Nikki, oh no thats awful about Harry, I hope it doesn't last for too long!
-
Nikki you are a sweetie thanks for your excitement. I tested in NZ but it came up negative (prob too early). I tested again this morning as I was 3 days late and it was positive. We are both really excited and Jamie is already talking about names (so cute). I am so proud of you for doing your 1st injection. I could never I am such a wuss, I have to lay down to get my blood taken or I faint LOL. OOOPs about the projectile poo, thats not pretty at all. I hope Harry gets better soon. I hope Chantelle gets better also, poor darling.
Rachel, thanks for the congrats and the welcome. It is nice to be home even though the holiday was awesome.
Well it is definatly sinking in we are going to be a family of 4. We have already talked about setting up Jordan in the other room and re painting etc. I think I may have them share if we end up with 2 boys though so we can keep the guest room.
I am already thinking about labour and am really wanting a VBAC so will be reading up on that over the next months. I have also asked my SIL if she wants to be there for the birth and she said she would so I am pleased with that. She is so excited already. This will be my last pregnancy so I am going to savour every moment.
Hope you all have a nice night and will chat to you all tomorrow.

OMG Congratulations Tracey!!!! I'm soooo excited for you!!!!
I'm glad you had a great time away - We've missed you in here! Was definitely something missing with you not posting!! Thats great Jordan enjoyed himself as well - bugger that he's sick now!
I can't wait to see your belly growing!! It's just so exciting!! I'm sure you will achieve you vbac! You're very brave having the kids share - maybe it would be ok if you did it when they're both a bit older...bedtimes are super hard work as they keep waking each other up - takes us an hour to get Louis to sleep now...
I must say I haven't been on much lately either...Had my first party on Sunday (thank you again Rachael!!) which went really well and had another little one yesterday for my Aunty which was ok. I'm super busy getting organised but finally managed to get the housework done today.
The boys are well...Dylan was sleeping really well but has been a horror again the last couple of nights waking up for a couple of feeds instead of his usual 1. So I'm a bit of a zombie again...He's just started blowing raspberries finally but not much else is happening except for his beautiful squealing.
Louis is well - he's just my little buddy at the moment. We have full on conversations and have such a laugh all of the time. He is also such a great big brother - Dylan was in the high chair crying tonight while I was trying to finish dinner and Louis just wanders off to get his dummy and pops it in for him saying "ta Dylan". He's just such a thoughtful little kid and we're getting lots of cuddles and kisses off him at the moment - and "love you Mummy's"! hehe.
Anway...enough of my sooky la la's!! hehehe.
Joanne - I'm with you on the self settling...Although I actually took the time with Dylan today and it really paid off...he had 2 x 1 1/2 hour sleeps and then a nap and I managed to get him to put himself to sleep tonight but he woke up like 5 x and needed resettling - we shall see what the night brings...
Melissa - What a cheeky boy Benjamin is - LOL!! Glad you didn't lose your job - these things happen though!!
Nikki - Glad your placement is going well - well done on giving needles - I would be way to scared!!! Yeah on having lots of people for the party! I finally posted your host pack so you should get it tomorrow - sorry for the delay!! I'll give you a call but you'll have to start having a think about what theme you'd like!!
I'm so sorry to hear the kids arent' well...poor little things are having such a bad run of it - I hope they get better soon...(LOL on getting splattered!)
Cindy - I can relate to the every spare minute working on work! hehe. There is just not enough time in the day - in saying that - if we were able to have a solid few hours to put into it we may actually get somewhere - at the moment I'm just fitting in bit sand pieces between the kids - very hard work!!
I was going to ask about the kids for the weekend - are you bringing the girls on saturday?? You can - Michael will be home on daddy duty! LOL! I'll see how I go about bringing them on Sunday...If Michaels home and I can wing it I may leave them at home...Just less for me to worry about! I'm going to be nervous - although a hand party is nice and simple! I'm excited for scones on Saturday! hehe. Finally got the catalogue back from my aunty and there's a million things I like but I will have to not go too crazy! LOL! She put in about a $65 order as well...
Hope you had a nice day off!!
Rachael - Thank heaps for Sunday - I hope you had a better drive home. Geez little Milo is a spunky monkey!! hehe.
Wow at you dh having a gig - thats great!!!
We have to pay up front for our body shop kit but I've got 7 parties booked this financial month so I'm very excited!! Although I'm not really making any money as I have to invest it back in at the moment...will be nice when I do though! LOL! Also I have to pay for orders up front so need to have a bit of money saved up to cover that as well...
K - think I've caught up!! Chat later!
-
Tracey - Well, you finally struck the jackpot Congrats!
Kristie - I work with pigs! Men who spend their time, one in particular that makes my life hell. He doesn't like being told by women what to do, and he won't wait for things to be done. The other guy that I trained is just annoying me, my outburst was his fault in part. Again they poured water into my new work shoes. warm water down the back of my legs into my boots. Not impressed! I recieved my one and only warning by the top boss last night. I'm thinking of chucking in the job, because of Benjamin.
Cindy - It was someone elses Tupperware party. I spent $160 odd on things. Buying 2 of the sappire lunch sets and another set of scissors and another utility knife.
Well, it's now under a week until I go for my op...YIPEE!
Melissa
-
Hi!
Another rotten nights sleep - grrr - and now Dylans decided that wake up time is 6.20am for some reason - I really must go to bed earlier tonight...There's so not enough hours in the day! LOL
Melissa - Does the boss know how horrible the guy you work with it?? If your getting told off for having an outburst surely they should get told off for being idiots??? Good luck with it all...
Yeah at having less than a week to your op!!! How long do you have off work afterwards? Is it a long recovery??
My sister just had her tubes tied and was sore and swollen for 3-4 days...I'm so not getting it done - Michael can get the snip!! LOL!!!
Chat later!
-
Melissa thanks for the congrats. I think you have every right to have outbursts at work if the men are bulliying you. They have no right to do that to you. If you cannot work it out then I would leave the job also, for your own sanity.
Krisite Poor darling, hope you can get some rest in today. I dont think I want to have the op either, Jamie can get snip with Michael :)
Well I feel great this morning apart from this overwhelming urge to go to the toilet. When I go there is nothing there. I forgot how paranoid I got with every acke and pain in the early weeks of pregnancy. I have repeat blood test tomorrow to make sure HCG levels ok. Then she is going to do a dating U/S. I didnt have one of those with Jordan but I am happy to see bubs earlier rather than later.
Jordan is SO snotty at the moment. He woke up and had all green dried up junk over his face, sheets and hands, poor darling. I hope this clears up soon for him as he really sounds terrible, all conjested.
Jamie has taken Jordan to print out our holidays snaps so I can show you all when we next meet up.
Take care everyone

Rachael i hear you spoke with tina - what did you think of awhatever she had to say? I am meant to have 4 parties in my first 2 weeks and i have that but i have also got 3 other booked the week after so i really could have gone for the bigger kit but i was wondering if i would even get the 4 let alone the 6 needed for the bigger kit! I have already got heaps more stuff to ad to my kit anyway! Kristie is my first party this sat! So cant waitto get it over with so ican stop being so nervous!
Kristie- i am leaving the girls with mum on sat, i could bring tori if you think that louis would be happier with her there. i will leave it up to you though!
Tracey - I know what your talking about with the initial nervousness in pregnacy - it will be great to see the little peanut though! When do you go back to work?
Nikki - how exciting doing your first needle! Pretty soon it will be something you dont even have to think about when doing it. Was collection part of your course too?
Got to go, getting my hair cut and my eyes check this arvo so better go get organised!
-
Cindy, it sounded really good, the thing is monday nights as a general rule are completely out for me as thats the night DH has band practice, he not home at all, stright from work, til at least midnight.
I think I'd like to go to the meetings and things, I work well with that sort of motivation.
I am going to have a chat to the manager I know at the d'ship closer to me, and see when theirs are, and I might go along to one at each and see which one I like better.
thats the plan so far. Tina sounded really nice on the phone, I was a bit scared to call her but she was really nice.
-
kristie,i will have the last one on the list as my theme,EVERYONES FAVOURITES PARTY, is that cool, what does it involve.
nikki
-
Rachael - Tina is reall nice and there is no pressure at all from her, she says she is only there to motivate and support which is really nice! Mondays suck for me to with the meetings and tina has a meeting once a month at her place and it always seems to be on wednesdays which sucks for me again! I have not been to any of the sales meetings so far, just the training sessions which she said you caould do from home!??!
Nikki- Al wants to knwo if grant is going to come keep him company on sunday?
Well, tri and i got our hair cut and i got me eyes checked and am getting glasses to wear pretty much all the time now, not just when reading! Its so hard to choose frames!
I am feeling pretty crappy tonight, I have spoken to the health nurse about charlotte and her feeds/sleeps and how most days she wont sleep between feeds if she hant had solids as part of the feed.Soooo She has said for me to top her up with formula every feed and see how much she wants (if i have to do it every feed then i think i am going to wean - no point doubling up!) so anyway i did it tonight after she had had both sides and she drank 210mls of formula! I feel like i am the worstest um and i have been starving her or something but the thing is that she is happy ALL the time and never begging for more food other than solids! I wasnt to keen on her having 3 solid feeds a day yet though cos she needs more out of food than rice cereal etc can give her!
GOt to go sorry, crying children

-
My body shop party here. starting at 2
how was your day today? get to jab anyone?
-
Cindy you are so not a bad mum. BF is hard as you have no idea how much they are getting and as Charlotte is content you had no way to know, dont doubt your abilities.
Well I told my parents and grandma that we were preg tonight over tea and they were rapted. I am so tired though I am going to hit the hay. I am back at work tomorrow, bummer.
Night night everyone XX
-
Kristie and Tracey - It's hard to know what to say to the guys I work with. I was told my outburst was my final warning, but I'm so tempted to push the barrier and get them to sack me. On the other hand, I feel like letting them know, that while I'm in hospital they can find someone else. I ache all over tonight. My cysts have pitched in to the pain in a big way tonight. :(
Kristie - Depending on the incision they are making depends on the recovery time. They've already told me that I need to be back at work by Saturday after my op Tuesday. The guy that works as my sub when I'm not there has put on the roster that he can't work the Tuesday I go into hospital. I had to give the boss lady a friendly reminder that I'll be flat out on my back and in pain in a hospital bed that day.
Tracey - I'm pretty sure my sanity has almost been lost in that place.
Need sleep, need food, I'm absolutely buggered right now and I so want to vent more. Such is the wind down after work when you work with morons.
Melissa
-
Aw Cindy, you aren't a bad mum.
That's very similar to what happened when I had to put Milo on to formula.
I'd been trying for ages to get him to have EBM (or anything) from a bottle, and he was getting more and more unsettled in the afternoons and at night.
One day he had a breastfeed, both sides for at least an hour, sounded like he was feeding well, then I offered him the bottle, and he drank 210ml formula.
It was really hard for me to take, but you know what, I did the best thing I could for my son, and that makes me a good mum :)

Hi!
Had a busy day yesterday and feel like I'm getting sick now...grrr. So is Louis - he woke up about 4 times last night - grrr. Went and visited the kids at my old dance school last night. Felt very strange! Louis was having a groovy dance - was sooo cute!! Ended up being a late night and then Michael went out for a massage....we so need to have a night out just the 2 of us...I'm doing a party tonight which I'm very excited about though!!
Tracey - Ooh are you having the scan today as well?? How exciting!! Hope Jordans starting to feel better! Hope you're feeling well also and got in a good sleep - 1st tri is sooo tiring! Yeah on telling your family!!
Cindy - Don't be nervous about Sat! I think it's only going to be small crowd unfortunately...Probably just as well in my little unit though!! It's up to you whether you want to bring Tori - I'm going to leave my boys at home as well...At least then I don't have to worry about them getting into mischief - hehe. Yeah on getting your hair cut - I'm so excited I've booked in to get gel nails...I've never had them before so am very excited. I thought now that people are going to see my hands all the time I better make them look nice! hehe.
Wow on needing glasses...I always hated wearing glasses (and still do) Does it bother you at all? Will you try contacts?? After we get rid of our last bit of debt I'm going to start saving to get my eyes lasered! I can't wait!!
Big hugs...don't feel bad! I actually think Dylan could be a bit like that as well - drinking formula after his feed...he's been waking up earlier and earlier for his night time feed - he's gone from feeding at around 4am (after a feed at 7pm) and the other night it was 12.30pm!!! Last night was 2am but he didn't have his last feed until 8pm...He's having 2 lots of solids a day and loving it but yeah...I was thinking about trying an extra milk feed... problem is he's such a chucky windy baby that it usually just unsettles him more...In that sense I think he'll thrive on solids much better...even with a couple of solids he's chucking heaps less...
Nikki - Glad you got the info! Favourites should be a lot of fun. We'll basically do a bit of everything..try some scrubs, body lotions/butters, milk bath, white musk etc. Basically the best selling items. Do you have any favourite products yourself that you'd like everyone to try??
Melissa - Big hugs...Make sure you take as much time as you need...your body will need to recover...sounds like looking for a new job might be the way to go....
Rachael - Exactly!!!! You are all great mums on here! In the big scheme of things whether a baby is bf or ff fed doesn't really affect a whole lot I don't think...especially if they're bf in the early weeks when it really counts with all the good stuff to help build they're immunity...We can only do what we can do!!!
Better get organised...I can't seem to get on top of everything at the moment...Chat later!
-
Melissa- i am with Kristie - i would be looking for another job again too! If i remember correctly you havent been there real long? HOw is it going with your dad? It was you who had got in contact with a father after many years wasnt it?
Thank you all for your lovely words about charlottes feeds! It realyl does mean a heap! She ended up sleeping untill 6.30am and then bf each side and i offered her the bottle but she wasnt interested she then slept for nearly 3 hours! Again she has just fed both sides and didnt want any top up and has just gone back down so i will see whats her story is! I'm thinking maybe my supply is just dropping off at the end of the day and perhaps she is going to need a bottle at night?! I have only been feeding her one side per feed (shouldnt matter really coz its supply and demand and heaps of my friends have fed this way) but now that iam giving her both sides she is obviuosly getting a little bit more and is fuller. I think i have been reading her pulling on and off as needing to burp but it must be when i am getting empty, i can have 3-4 let downs each side in the one feed so she must just want to come off untill that kicks in again! Its so hard to know what the right thing to do is! As you all said though, as long as they are being fed it doesnt matter bottle or boob!
SOrry for the rant!
I think i might try to get a nap!
Kristie - i just made the tupperware scone recipe and my golly gosh they are good! My sister and i have made ourselves sick on them! See you tomorrow! I will try to get there about 1.30ish. i think i will leave tori at mums
-
well work today was ok. I got in nice and early 7.30 so I could leave early. I had maccas for lunch (so bad I know) but really felt like it. Jamie and Jordan are out at his nannas painting her house so I am home alone. Got the music on loud and relaxing.
Cindy sounds as though Charlottes feeding has improved. I often wondered about my night milk as I felt low. If you are offering formula and she isnt interesting I agree thats a great sign you are filling her up.
Krisite it would be strange to go back to dancing. Glad Louis had a good time. No US just yet. I had the 2 blood tests and she will ring me to let me know about the US. I cant wait to have one though.
Melissa I hope the op goes well and you recover well. Dont go back to work until you are ready, they cant force you to return.
hope everyone is enjoying the weekend
-
Hi!
Hope you're all having a great weekend! I got a sleep in this morning - woohoo! I so needed it - and finally dh and I had some "quality" time last - much needed also! LOL! So now I'm about to get ready for Cindy's Body shop party!! I'm excited!
Cindy came around for my tupperware party yesterday - You did a fantastic job!!! and made great sales which is fantastic - I'm sooo excited about getting my free stuff as well as the few things I ordered as well!!! The scones were fantastic!!!
Fri night I did a party and came home at about 9.30pm and Michael had both kids up - Louis had croup and Dylan had been screaming for 1 1/2 - poor little munchkins...we got them sorted out quickly and they slept ok..both seem to have the sniffles now again!
Ummm thats about it for me...
Tracey - LOl on the maccas for lunch - you've got an excuse now - woohoo!!!! Glad you had a nice arvo. Make sure you get lots of rest!
Chat later!
-
Krisite seems as though you had a good party, its great to host and get free stuff. Hope your body shop party goes well today, I am sure it will. Hope the boys are feeling better. Jordan is also snotty at the moment, its pretty gross.
Cindy sounds as though you did a good job of the tuppaware party, welll done. How are the wedding plans coming along? Have you been looking at dresses at all?
Nikki How is the clan going? Hope you are all well. What are you up to these school holidays? Wouldnt mind catching up somewhere if you like.
Well I had my 1st bit of MS this morning. I was cleaning my teeth in the shower went it all came up (sorry TMI). It was nice to have some sort of symptom to know its all progressing. I am having a tough time with what to eat with all the recommendations of not eating cold meat, reheated foods etc. I am having oven chips for lunch as I couldnt take another cheese sandwich. Did you all stick to those rules when pregnant?
DH is back at his nannas painting so I have had Jordan all morning. He wore me out this morning so I have put him down for a nap. A little earlier than usual but I needed the rest and the ME time. I guess this is what I have ahead but I am so looking forward to it.
Back to work tomorrow and I have decided not to tell my boss that I am preg just yet. I told my last boss straight away as we were good friends. I have a new boss now and dont really have that friendship so think I will wait till I am showing or if I am sick or something.I will be the 3rd one in the team pregnant. 1 girl is due dec, one in march and me in may. LOL, she is going to freak at loosing us all.
Jamie only wants me to take 3 months leave again :( I am hoping I can take some of my long service as part of my maternity leave to lengthen the time off. I really think I went back too early with Jordan although we needed to financially. Jamies current work offers 3 months full pay or 6 month half pay paternity leave so he will be able to take leave when I go back. That will put my mind at ease a little knowing one of us is home with them.
Ok enough rambling take care XX
-
Tracey - I can remember eating stuff that was on the list of not to eat. Never effected me or Benjamin, but it could be different for you. I think a little bit of something will never hurt, just don't go to excess IYKWIM. Letting a boss know on the other hand may be daunting, but at least leave it until you are 3 months at the latest, longer if you can get away with it.
2 more sleeps until my operation. I'm still very nervous about it all. Thankfully it was my last night at work last night until next Saturday. I've got time to relax before my op. YIPEE!
We are having a rather warm day up here today, but this afternoon is turning out to be beautiful. BBQ weather....:)

Hi!
Had Cindy's body shop party which went well! It was nice and simple with a hand party which was nice! I hope you enjoyed it Cindy!!!
Kids still have the sniffles so I'm staying home from swimming this morning...I have heaps to do anyway so won't really matter! Although it's a bummer as it's the last week of term.
Tracey - Oh no - sorry to hear you had ms! Umm I'm vegetarian anyway which wipes out a lot of the bad foods but I did avoid deli salads etc. I also avoided soft cheeses but my weakness was banana smoothies from wendy's which have the soft serve in them which your meant to avoid. I had heaps of them...!!
I agree - I would wait to tell your boss...no point them knowing now!
Bugger at only having 3 months off...I'm sure you'll work it all out though...
K - better go and get some stuff done! Chat later!

Time for a new thread everyone
