Nikki - your werent joking the other day when you said it had been quiet in here!! My golly gosh.
I so cant believe they havent used our gorgeous princess' photos in the target catalogue. How rude!!

Again, it was great catching up on monday, cantbeliev we are seeing eachother again this weekend too, its becoming a habit, a good one though!!

Tracey - woo hoo on almost TTC again! On the night feed, i actually startd giving tori a straw cup with milk and she still has it and takes it to bed, not that she always drinks it but its there for her if she hasnt filled up enough at tea!
Sounds like you hada great trip. Catn wait to see photos, now that you are back we are going to have to organise another catch up date soon, Are you going to Kristies on sunday? Maybe we can organise something then? I dont mind having everyone at my place again if you can handle the drive.

Looks like we will be online in the next few days which will be fantastic, i have some of the best photos to email around from the last few weeks!

No plans yet for us for the weekend. Will have to think of something fun. I'm a bit dubious about swimming (at the local pool anyway), as I think thats where Milo picked up his bug :(

How tall are your bubs? I measured Milo and he's about 83cm which I though was tall for 15months. I did it twice, and had Neil and mum do it again, cos at his 12month check he was only 77cm!

Not much news from me...Had my dr's appointment yesterday and all is well. Measuring 33cm and bp good. Dylans still head down...Last night was watching a dvd with dh and had about 8-10 pains in 2 hours!! I assume they're just bh but they come on just like a contraction - just a really mild one though...I hope I'm in for a quicker labour if I'm going to keep having all these pains now!
Louis is good! He's being a bit cheeky at the moment and taking at least an hour to get to bed. He's not cranky but just jumping around in his cot talking to all his toys in his shelf! It is funny but he's a little terror! hehe.

Tracey - I'm glad Jordan seems to be settling down with his sleeps! It sounds like hawaii was great! Good luck mowing the lawn! I've never attempted it and hopefully I never will - hehehe!

Kirsty - I'm sure things will go better this time! It will be good to have more appointments though so you can relax a little more...

Rachael - I hope Milo's all better now!! It's not nice when they get sick. We'll have to catch up next time! Louis is a shorty - I'm not sure what height he is now - at 12m he was only 73.5cm! He's probably about 80cm now?? I'll find out in another few weeks at his check up.

Melissa - Hope your appointment went well!!

Nikki - LOl on giving all the boys tips!! I bet they all felt pretty cool going to school today!! How cute Chantelle having dress ups!! I hope you took photos!! Poor harry getting burnt - geez - I didn't see that coming - it looked like he was in the shade the whole time!!

Cindy - Ooh I can't wait to see some of those photos!! It will be so handy when you have the computer set up at home again!! At least you can just relax on Sunday and it will be nice for Al and Tori to have some time together!

Playcenter sounds good! I have not been to one. Also I don't mind going to people houses or having people at mine. Croydon is not that far, its just near ringwood right? I go there all the time to visit a GF from uni.

Kristie - The app is not until the 10th of April, so it's still a little way away yet.

Very soon, our little darlings will be going for their 18 month needles. I'd like to see Benjamin's weight and height changes since his last lot of needles.

Melissa, Glad to hear you're feeling a little less zonked. Let's hope you are feeling MUCH better soon. When you said your mum has her cysts removed, is that with a laser? Fingers and toes crossed you can have yours taken care off asap after your appointment. Can you take time off work as needed while you're not feeling well? What did you do this week at playgroup? F and I haven't been to one before. Keep meaning to but don't seem to have the time or energy. Must prioritise it as a few of the medical people we see say that F would get lots out of it.

Nikki, Aren't you clever little miss hairdresser! You'll have to post a picture onto your website of their new hairstyles. LMAO at the thought of C dressed in a nurses costume. Definitely will need to get that on film!!! We have a toy medical bag that we use to desensitise Gussy to things like taking BP, temperature, stethiscope, auriscope (sp?). Works a treat. He plays doctors and nurses with his stuffed toys Big Bird, Ernie and Bert. Tis sooooo cute to watch. He knows the temperature is taken somewhere below his eyes but doesn't seem too realise it's meant to go under his armpits. So he keeps putting it under his chin and his toy's chins. Then he kind of says "birdie good boy" he he. Every time I try to get the camera out he to take a picture he stops doing it so I haven't managed to get a photo so far. Ahhh... BTW Great idea about the toy library. They are so good! Means you don't have to clutter up your house/yard with big pieces of plastic that they only like for a short while. We're wait-listed for a cubby house at the moment. Seems to be super popular though so could be a long wait.

Tracey, sounds like you're getting Jordan back on track sleep wise. Aren't you a clever mumma. BTW Huge congratulations on your BF efforts. I am really impressed!! How exciting that you're getting ready to start trying to conceive.

Rachel, Can you go swimming at the beach or is it to far. Forgive my geographical ignorance! he he. Fergus is a shorty. Today we weighed and measured him while at the paed. He's put on masses of weight and grown quite a bit (for him), but is still below the 3rd percentile. He's 73cm and 8.28kg.

Kristie, Great to hear your check-up went well. Dylan is a clever boy keeping his head down. I have heard a few people say that they had more BH's with their subsequent pregnancies than with the first and that their labours were shorter. Fingers crossed that it's the same for you (the short labour part anyway)!

Cindy, Congratulations on the move. Must be fab to be in your own place. How frustrating for you to have to wait a while for the internet connection. Let's hope it's up and running soon for you.

Not much to report here. As part of F's physio and occupational therapy has been playing with different textures to try to desensitise him (in case his not eating is related to a texture fear). One of things we have to do is to get him to play with an electric toothbrush. He LOVES LOVES LOVES it. But I think we have created a problem for ourselves. I keep catching him with it down his nappy! Aghhhh sooo not the right thing for a toddler to be doing! I'm sure the child protection agency would be after me if they could see it! he he. Better move onto a new game and confiscate the toothbrush!

Today we went swimming (a make up class for the one dad missed last week). I so enjoyed it. The ladies are so nice in the class I used to be in. Jordan has just watched bear in the big blue house and now in bed. He got up at 8.00 this morning. So pleased. He has gone to bed no hassle again so I think we have our litle boy back THANK GOD :)
Off to work tomorrow, what a bummer, and saturday.

Kristy - Mum goes into hospital the week after my app to have hers removed. It's not done with lasers. They make an incision near your bellybutton and put down a scope to find where the problem is then I think they make an incision where you have your c/s line and remove them from that point. Mum may get a hysterectomy while she's there if her ovaries look too bad. I won't find out whats going on with me til my app, all I know is that I want more bubbas. Playgroup is great, they have a big room filled with toys and stuff and let the kids play and socialise. Not to mention, you get to meet other mums and socialise too. Next week, they're are going to a big park down town, it's sounds nice, but the park isn't fenced and there is a busy road near by that I have issues with. I know everyone watches at these outdoor events, but I'm not so sure. Just might skip that event.

Had a big day yesterday - Louis had swimming and then we did some shopping. I bought Louis this cool little new mcdonalds farm figures on a tractor, a dorothy the dinosaur pillow (he loves lying down on pillows!) and a squishy ball. I got it all for $22!! So I'm going to wrap them and they'll be his presents from Dylan when he arrives! hehe. (Yes I know - any excuse!) I still can't find anything for Dylan from Louis though - any ideas??
I was so tired aftewards though! Sat down and had a rest and I got more period pains!! Go figure?? I find it really odd that I'm getting them when I'm resting! Anyway, I can't seen anything happening in a hurry - I'd be wrapped if I went in another 2 or 3 weeks though!!
Having a quiet one today...getting our house valued which will be interesting! Actually the guys here now - I hate having stranger walk around the house!! hehe.

Tracey - Yeah - it's been ages!! Cindy and I went to a good one at Forrest Hill but she may know of some others as well...

first day back at work and it wasnt as bad as i thought. I went back to a bit of a mess which I had to fix up but the day went quick so that was good.
Jordan had a great day at his nannas and he actually said "nan" when he was there, 1st time she had heard it even though he has been saying it for aweek now. She was rapted, such a proud nan.
went out for dinner tonight, Jordan was so tired, he had DH have fallen asleep on the bed, ever so cute. I will transfer Jordan into his bed soon once I know he is really asleep.

Krisite sounds like you got some good bargains shopping. You could get Dylan a teddy bear or a blankie from Louis. Maybe even a tshirt that says I'm a little brother. It would be nice to have bubs a little early, the last couple weeks are long, waiting, waiting and waiting.
If you tell me where Forest Hill is I am happy to make my way out there.

Melissa hope your mums op goes well and good luck with your app.

Milo is really cranky again tonight, and he keps smacking into the side of his cot and waking himself up.

I'm also starting to think the soy milk I am giving him instead of dairy is giving him bad wind, so tomorrow we are switching back to cows milk to see what happens.

Well tonight was our 1st night without boobies and all has goen really well so far. He had 2 cups of milk and has gone to bed no probs, not even a peep from his room. Fingers crossed this is going to work out.
Jamie now has the travel bug and last night he booked tickets to New Zealand for us all on Sept. We are still going to start TTC as even if it happens straight away I can still travel as trip is 6 months away. I am so excited to go on another holiday. Jordan will be a very travelled baby I think :)
Jamies granny broke our car boot this afternoon. It wont latch shut now so we have to take it back to the dealer and see if they can fix it. Hopefully it will be covered under warrenty.

Not much news from us! Had a pretty quiet day...just did the food shopping in the arvo which was enough! Dh is out at his brothers party tonight so it's nice and quiet here.

Louis is now counting to 10!!! (with a little bit of help - he skips no.7!) Cheeky boy!

Tracey - Glad work wasn't too painful for you! Jordan sounds like he's really coming along with his words now! How gorgeous the boys fell asleep together last night!
Yeah I've been looking for blankets for Dylan but I just can't seem to find anything I like...I can't believe how fussy I'm being...hehe

Ladies, tonight is night number 2 with no boobs are Jordan is really doing well. He is showing no signs of wanting them so I think he is pretty well weaned. I have no feelings of emgourgement in my boobs, they didnt really fill up until I was feeding and even then I didnt feel a let down anymore.
Had a nice day at Kristens baby shower. She got some really nice pressies. Was nice to have a day without Jordan although it was kinda weird. I kept looking for him, missed him a bit.

Krisite I hope you had a nice afternoon and got some lovely things for Dylan

Nikki hope everything is ok with Grants mum. We are now officially TTC as no more boobs. I made sure that our booking trip in sept wouldnt affect us TTC and Jamie is fine to start now so its BD'ing for us. :)

Melissa you are doing a splendid job with still BFing. I just decided I would try and give it up and see how it went. Luckily for me Jordan wasnt too bothered. I thought he would have been. I know what you mean about the teeth it can hurt at times. Good luck with it.

Well dance class was hard tonight, the routine is really fast and I had probs keeping up. I ended up making up my own steps LOL. Hip hop is really different to the dance I used to do so really challenging.
DH took car back to dealer to fix the boot and now is closes BUT it now wont OPEN!!!!! can you belelive it? I have to take it back again tomorrow to get them to fix it again. I will have to go early so I can make it back for playgroup.
Got SOO much housework tomorrow it isnt funny. The house looks like a tip so just cannot postpone it any longer.

Do you find that bubs are leaking their nappies now overnight? Ever since I have weaned Jordan and he has cup of milk he hasleaked his nappy. It has been so full in the morning that he is soaked and so is the bed. We are trying new nappies overnight to see if that makes a difference.

Milo was splitting his nappies for a while there.
I ended up sticking a maternity pad in there as well, and poking some holes theough it for the fliud to get back tot he rest of the nappy.

With Milo, I am sure its due to his tummy sleeping, as the frot of the nappy would fill up and burst through, but there would be room at the back.

I also bought a Very Baby Simply Nights cloth nappy for him, but it stopped happening before he got to use it, and I sold it again.
They are supposed to be excellent night nappies though.

Not much happening around here - I think Louis is going crazy because of how lazy his mummy is! It's so not good. I'm feeling very guilty for not doing more at the moment. He's been so good at occupying himself but he shouldn't have to do it all the time. I mean we have play times as well but just not as much as he needs...

We had an exciting night last night drawing up a rough first draught of our house plans!! I think we need to adjust it a bit because the house is HUGE!! I'm not opposed to having a larger house but I'm going to have to CLEAN it!! Aaaaggghhhhh!
Dh originally drew our ensuite as big as our bedroom is now!! I don't THINK so! hehe. So obviously a lot of changes before we're both happy with something. hehehe. We'll have to look at display homes next year to work out colours and things...Even though it's ages away we just got all excited!

Nikki - you'll have to give us your tips on colour schemes etc because your houses always look awesome!

Melissa - How funny is that?? Yeah, he's still not saying 7! It must be because it's harder to say than all the other ones!

Tracey - Glad you had fun at dancing! I find hip hop challenging as well! As long as your having fun! Bugger about your car - hope it's easy fixed!
Yeah, sometimes Louis leaks through - not heaps but maybe just on to his pjs...I got into a bad habit as well of offering him a drink of water each time he woke up as well and sometimes if he woke 2-3 times in the night he would be drenched! hehe. I don't do that now!

Rachael - Hi! Hope your well! Busy working I'm sure....

Oh and another new thing - I've been really horrible and not let Louis feed himself brekky (he eats lunch/dinner himself) because of the mess factor, but I'm happy to say I'm letting him go now. He fed himself most of his weetbix this morning and only spilt a little on his bib so I'm very proud of him! I think he was proud of himself as well! hehe.
Have all you guys been letting them do that for ages??

Does anyone else's bubs look like they have a huge bloated belly at the end of the day, and then wake up "normal" in the morning?

By bedtime, Milo's belly looks like the equivalent to a 6-9 month preggo lady (in proportion to the rest of him) all bloated, then in the morning it has magically gone!

So just wondering if its is uncommon and I should add it to thte growing list of q's for the paed. next week?

Kristie, the house plans sound exciting. I wish we were building a house!

Krisite, I sort of let Jordan feed himself. Mainly after I have given him the majority of the meal. Although he does put it in his mouth himself. He drops alot on the floor and feed the puppies aswell so I need to make sure he gets some food. YEAH on drawing up some house plans. LOL about the massive ensuite. I am like you always thinking of the cleaning factor when looking at a house.
Rachel Jordan does look bloated after dinner. He looks so chubby when he gets out the bath and is still naked. He is all normal in the morning though, same as Milo. I guess they only have little bellys so they bloat after dinner.

Well I had an idea of where we could meet up, Collingwood childrens farm. Its central to all of us and the kids would love it. We could always go a playcentre in that area if the day wasnt so good. What do you guys think?
Its $8 for adults and kids under 2 are free.$2 for parking. They are open 9-5 everyday.

Well I have cleaned the house now, so much better, it was a pig sty. Now can relax till Jordan wakes hopefully in a few hours.

Rachael - We're getting excited a bit early as really it's ages away but it's hard not too..hehe. Umm, depending on how much he shoves in his mouth Louis has the big belly at nighttime! It's definitely smaller in the morning as well...I figure I'm the same most of the time! hehehe. I wouldn't worry but it's probably worth asking anyway just to put your mind at ease!

Tracey - Great idea!! I think that would be great - OMG - I think Louis would have a heart attack with all the animals! I've never been before - have you?

Collingwood Childrens farm sounds like a great idea Tracey. I have never been there, and Milo hasn't been to the farm either so it sounds like a great idea! Are you guys able to do weekends? I can maybe wangle a Monday or a Tuesday, but not W-F.

I work on saturdays so would only be able to do a sunday. I am free Tuesday (could skip playgroup) or thursdays.
I havent been to the farm but the website looks great. Jordan saw some farm animals at the zoo but I think this is more interactive.
Should we wait to see what CIndy and Nikki think and then set a date next week maybe.

Hi girls, the children's farm sounds like a nice idea. F is really into animals at the moment to. My parents have chooks and I think F would spend his entire life out in the chook house if he could. He's even perfected their clucking noise. He sits in the chook house alternating bruuuggg bruuugggghhhh kkka kkka with cheeeep cheeep chiiip. Cute. Wish we lived closer and could join you at the farm. he he.

Not much to report here. F is still not eating at all or drinking anything other than a few sips of water. DH and I are being woken lots and I'm still getting very little sleep overnight due to the kangaroo pump etc. Aghhh have to keep remembering that it will come to an end at some stage and our wee boy will be eating and drinking on his own.

Kristie, Wow that L can count to 10. He is one very clever little munchkin! Not long now till you meet Dylan. Must be so exciting!

Omg I'm sooo buggered! Took Louis to the park this morning cos I've been feeling guilty for not doing much with him...now I know why! hehe. First of all I let him run all around and took him to look at the ducks. I can't believe how they came right up to him (some were bigger than him!) and one eventually stole his little muesli bar out of his hand!! They weren't scared at all! Then I went for a walk around the lake - Louis walked a bit of it and then I put him in the pram and he fell asleep! I walked the 2.5km!! Why did I decide to do that at nearly 36 weeks p/g??? I have no f'n idea!!! hehehe. Anyway, finally home, we're both having lunch and hopefully he'll have a big sleep!!

Looks like Sunday 1st may be the day!! Dh probably won't come as it's his b'day dinner the night before and I'm sure he'll have a big one...I'll have to chat with him! It would be nice for him to help with Louis anyway!

Sunday 1st sounds good. I'm not fussed what time.
milo usually sleeps late morning, but if we're driving somehwere he is just as likelt to sleep in the car anyway.
DH will not come as I think the bulldogs round 1 game is on that day, and he'll go to that instead.
