well no apollo bay. we decided not to go :( I am home alone as DH has taken Jordan out somewhere. I have done the housework, FINALLY got my waxing done (no more fire hazard) and now just chilling out.
Have to laugh at my mum, last night she said that she said it was OK to try for #2, She wouldnt mind looking after 2 babies. LOL I didnt know I needed her permission. I laughed to myself, little does she know we are already TTC.
Krisite I hope this is my month but I guess it will happen at some stage.

Tracey - you can have tori as your second one! I am seriously over her and her shoes and yelling 'mum, yucky' about EVERYTHING!! I am giving her away- free to good home.
I think the ad would have to warn people of her shoe addiction and that everything is yucky and the magic F word is one of her favorites at the moment including f off and f'er(woops, says her dad), she wont let you change her nappy untill its just about ready to fall off her its that full and she likes to climb all over you, oh and paint the walls with her food! Does she sound like fun??? Please someone take her!!!!! I'm going crazy! She is now growling at a book that has a picture of a tiger! She is a crazy kid! I so need a whole heap of video surveilance set up aroudn the house so i can show her what she was like when she gets bigger! If only she would have a sleep!!!
Kristie - i have just looked in my diary again and i am actually free on wednesday too if that suits you better for ambers? I dont mind- i am planning to go out that way both days anyway.
Oh my god, she just pinched me coz i wont let her go outside and harras the dog!

last night was good,went to bed at 12 and now i am tired,grant worked today and i looked after 8 children and the house is unreckognisable.i dont care i just want to go to bed.the boys have just gone to the movies so it is just me and grant and the babies and my neice and it is much quieter.i am actually going to sneak off to bed now and let grant take over.

Went a bought a mattress for Louis bed today!!! Probably won't set it up until next week as I've still got to buy a side thing and some sheets. Got him a cool Wiggles doona cover though (and my sister gave me a bananas in pyjamas one).

Michaels having a crisis tonight...I let him have a sleep in this morning and he's been in a foul mood all day...It's really getting to me. Then he complains about being over it and not having any time to himself!! GRRRR! He went out to play games one night this week and he's played computer today...he's been spending time at least 3 times a week for an hour at least out in the shed doing his gym etc. I'm not even asking for his help through the night so he's getting good nights sleeps as such...God help him if he was a woman and having to feed etc....Sorry for the vent. I'm just over his whingeing when it's hard for us both...also it upsets me when he's like this because I know it's hard work but it's soooo rewarding and one day they won't be this hard iykwim?? It's only such a short time...I mean Louis is soo easy now and such a good little boy except for the odd tantrums hehe. He's in bed at 8ish at the moment and sleeps for 12 hours!! How much easier do you want it?? He's mum's been at him about having a 3rd as well saying it will be so much more hard work than 2...I can't see why. Maybe I'm missing something??? I mean of course it will be hard work but I can't see why it will make a HUGE difference...
OK - I'm just writing as I'm thinking at the moment which I'm going to stop - I'm glad I wrote a bit though as my bad mood has lifted a bit...I just hate how guys can be grumpy and rub it off on to us and yet if we're upset or in a bad mood they just brush it off and get on with things...

Krisite sorry to hear that DH is being a sook at the moment and grumpy. You are also doing a great job with the boys and Louis is certainly an easy going little kid. I am glad you were able to vent.
Nikki Bugger about having to get the boys when you were tired also. I hope you get a sleep in tomorrow.
Just watched movie "flight 93" it was good. Very sad though, had a teary over it.

hi Ladies,
I hope you and your kidlets are all doing well.
Just wanted to let you know that everything went great on Tuesday with the grommet surgery.
He woke up late on te day of the, so the part about not giving him anything to eat was made easy by that.
We got to the hospital and all the staff were happy to see him again, as we were in the same ward were he did his sleeping clinic stint.
Weighed him and put on the angel cream then got him gowned up and it was off to theater.
Gassed him to sleep, I was fine up until they said “do you want to give him a kiss goodbye” well then I just started to cry a bit.
No sooner did I put money in the meter and have half a cup of coffee he was ready in recovery. They tried to give Ben a call but the answering machine was turned down so he never heard the phone. I coped it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be.
Anyway by the time I got out of the lift on the recovery floor I could here him screaming, so I knew everything had gone okay and that he was fine.
He had a cry for about 30 minutes then he was glued to the TV watching the Wiggles munching on some cheese and bickies.
So let’s hope that with these grommets the amount of ear infections lessens or is zero.
I have lots of reading to catch up on!!!

Kristie - Friday it is then! Hows things with michael? Has he pulled out of the mood yet? Have you tried sitting him down to talk about how you need his help so much more now dylan is around? I think that we definately need them more to help out with the older one while we are stuck with our boobs out or a bub alseep on us!
Kinni - i cant believe grant the bugger! Sounds like you had a good night though.

Tracey - you can have her any time!!! Hows the house hunting going? still just dreaming or do you think you will actually look at moving? Al keeps coming home with these houses for me to look up on the net that he has spotted during the day, always telling me where we should move to coz its cheap! Alot of them seem to be in QLD again though lately!
I really dont think he likes it here much but i think thats just not having a social circle at all and i do all of my socialising during the day while he is at work which means he still isnt meeting people the poor poppet!
Well i have had a really nice day today - al is working (yes on a sunday!!, no im not happy about it) so anyway , mum came and took tori for the day so i could get some things done and i have to say my house has not been this clean in a while and i have a full fridge of fruit and veg from the market! It was great and to top it off charlotte has only fed 3 times today so i have really been rather free!
My free day has come to an end however and i have just realised trhe time and that i havent even started tea yet!
It doens feel like a weekend coz al hasnt been around, its strange!

Things have settled down a bit today which was good. Dh apologised that what he said came out sounding a lot worse than what he meant. I got a sleep in this morning - which meant I got 8h sleep cos Dylan was so unsettled overnight! - and then I headed to the GYM! I had a walk on the treadmill and I'm sooo unfit! I think I'm going to be really sore tomorrow! Mums watching the kids on Tues morning so I can do a class and I've booked them into creche on Thursday morning as well! So nice to get some time out!
Then we've basically had visitors all day...some friends came around in the arvo and then my brother & partner came over after dinner. So I didn't get anything much done but it was nice to chill out...
Nikki - oh no!! Thats terrible. You poor bugger - hope you got a good nights sleep after that and have had a nice day today...
Tracey - we had a dvd last night as well...we watched bewitched which was a nice lighthearted one to watch..I don't think I'd do sad movies very well at the moment! LOL!
Dani - Wow - I'm so glad everything went well. I would have been a mess! You sound very strong!
Cindy - He is helping and does quite a bit - It's just the whinging about it that gets to me a bit iykwim?? You're not allowed to move back to qld!
Sounds like you had a great day!! Hows Charlotte going?? Dylan's been a bit unsettled at the moment and having more feeds which is driving me bananas. Hopefully he settles soon...he so doesn't need a growth spurt! LOL. He's nearly out of his 000 jumpsuits!!

nikki - i am sure al would love to go to the footy with grant! He can only do night games really or sunday ones and with the nights its all the same finishes the same time each day. When are Melbourne playing in melb next? I really have no idea about the footy at all! Get grant to give al a call - or they can try to work it out at the bbq next week.
On the toic of the bbq - what can i bring? do you want me to make a potato salad or something like that? I would like to help out! Really im not going to take no for an answer.

Kristie - how is dylan going? I have noticed this past week that charlotte has become far more alert but also much more settled than usual! I have finally worked her out i think!! WOO HOO she is going 5 hourly with her feeds, both day and night! I am so not complaining!

Well I have had a busy day today; I have come back from the MHCN and from getting Jett’s last injection done.
He was so good at the doctors, he just let a little scream out when the needle went it and that was it.
I was wondering do I call to let Family Assistance Office know that he has had his last injection??:dunno:
He I was at the MHCN for over 1 hour chatting about Jett and everything that as happened in the last 6 months (mainly the last month). She was really happy with his progress. He isn’t saying heaps of words but that she feels is due to his ears and should improve in the next 6 months. He is 86cm tall and weighs just under 12kg; her words were lean and tall, pmsl!!!:rolleyes:
I am having so much trouble trying to get Jett down to sleep at night. It is turning into a no win battle. He as been going down at 9ish each night, it is doing my head in. The MHCN said that I might have to do a week of controlled crying, wish me luck with that one.
Poor little man got stung by a bee yesterday. He went to get into is little bike outside and a bee stung the palm of his hand. He was screaming, Ben got the stinger out and we were just holding him, it scared the crap out of him.
Noting else knew here just giving the place a good ‘Winter Clean’.
Well I am of to watch desperate housewives, Jett is asleep YAh!!!!:dance:

Cindy – how good that charlotte is on 5 hhourly feeds. Jett was such a little piggy I think He was still on 4 our feeds at 6 months.

Cindy - Yeah - Dylans doing well. He had a biiggg sleep today that I ended up waking him up from! He's going quite well at night - usually about 5 or 6 hours and then 3 or 4! He's still having some unsettled times which is to be expected but I've still got him on the infacol which I thinks helping! He's super alert now and lots of smiling and playing with his play gym - he's actually hitting out at the dangly toys and he can lift his head up when he's on his tummy! He's also starting to talk quite a bit which is cute!
Wow at Charlotte going 5 hourly!
Louis is well...just cruising along. He's speaking in 3 word sentences now as well which is good. He's such a chatterbox! Certainly makes it easy as we know exactly what he wants iykwim??
Dani - Glad everythings going well! Wow Jett is a tall boy! Louis is being a bit of a terror going to bed as well at the moment but he's sleeping in until 8.30am so thats why!! Once I get Dylan into a routine I'll start to bring him back a bit earlier again...Do you have a bedtime routine?? We do dinner, bath, cup of milk and a cuddle and then bed and we do it every night so he knows whats happening next...
