yep, Wednesday in the first week is good for me too....is it possible to meet half way?
when are the holidays - I have no idea what date you are talking about
Nikki, i was thinking halfway might be good too. :)
Happy to meet wherever - the only issue I have with meeting at a play centre or something like it is that it's so buys and noisy and you get so caught up chasing after the kids that sometimes it's hard to have a good catch up!! It's good for the kids though I know...
Maybe we should also try and arrange a dinner out as well just for us mums so we can have a good gasbag without the kids???
Just a thought...
Rachael - It's next Wed 1st July...
ok 1st is good.
dinner out i can do wiyjout oscar at the moment so might pass on that one unless he miraculously develops regular sleeping habits - at the moment i can express cos he is tooo unpredictable
just a suggestion and we dont have to go with it but just throwing something out there.
in keilor there is a cute little farm i took the kids to early in the year,it is good cos the kids can run and you can relax and chat,it is better than collingwood farm in my opinion, across the road is a great play centre we can go to after if we wanted to continue with something else and the kids can have lunch there and we can stress about them after a relaxing morning at the farm.
uuummmm,we could go to science works....or...uuummm.....fairy park but thats a hike for you guys on the other side of town....or...uuummmm a picnic at captain cooks cottage and a visit to murunjinni park? or what ever it is called next to fed square.....uummmmm feel free to throw some ideas in!
I was going to suggest the fitzroy gardens, which i think is where captain cooks cottage is isnt it? It's pretty central which is good too.
Keilor sounds good as well.
Im not really fussed I'll just be happy to get out of the house.
I'm happy with Fitzroy gardens - we'll just have to keep an eye on the weather I suppose!
Thats why a playcentre could be a good option, its indoors.
Im trying to think of anything more central but not coming up with much.
the 1st wednesday sounds good to me also.
I found a playcentre at the docklands, waterfront city. Thats central to all and indoor so wont matter about the weather. kids under 1 free 1-3 $6.50 over 3 $10.50
YOu can look it up, its called Monkey Mania
what do you guys think
second thoughts..... if people do not want to pay for playcentre I am happy to open my house up to everyone
there is an awesome park 5 mins drive away if the weather is nice we can all go there
let me know what you all think
I'm up for your house Trace - as per our conversation I could do with avoiding the spend...we're really trying hard to stick to our budget at the moment...
Im happy to come to Tracey's
yep,i am good for that too tracey
Alright guys my house it is. Come whatever time you like I am easy
See you all wednesday then
well i am off work AGAIN as now Jordan is sick he has cough and snotty nose. Unless he is better wednesday we may have to rain check on the catch up, I would hate to pass this onto any of the other kiddies.
I will keep you all informed.
Well Jordan is better now, just a bit of a cough so should be ok for all the visitors
cant wait to see you all
Yeah!!! I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone!!
Shall we just bring some snacks to share??
Im not sure if I'll have Milo with me or just Oscar.
I've told him he has to be a goodboy or he wont be coming!
