hi everyone,
Tracey it was great to see you and jamie the other night,im glad that you all made good use of the pool and jordy and Liam enjoyed there swim.
i lovvveee this hot weather but i have to say im starting to get over it a bit now,we also have ducted cooling which as you mentioned Kristie does little in this extreme heat.we are all so sweaty in here.
O MG Louis is so clever.chantelle can read her name,she knows it is her name when she sees it but it will be a long time before she can write it i would say but what do expect with 9 letters LOL!I know that Jordy and Louis will love kinder,just watch them both grow up before your eyes now.i actually cant believe that these kids will be going to school in 2 years,that will fly.
i have decided to resign from my work,i am giving notice on Tuesday,they r not going to be impressed but i need to go where the money is.i also only end up with about 40 dollars after creche fees are payed and unfortunately because my clinic is privately run they can pay me the base rate,$20 an hour just doesn't cut it any longer for me,i have been looking at jobs on seek and there are 13 there that i can apply for right now and i can earn double that depending on the shifts,if i do a few nights then i also don't have to fork out for so much creche fees.i will apply for all of them and if anything comes through i will be choosy and try for what ever suits our family needs the most.
GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU GIRLS STARTING UNI THIS WEEK,I REMEMBER IT BEING ONE of the most memorable and enjoyable time of my life.It is so nice making new friends and doing something so rewarding and important.I still stay in touch with a few girls from there.If at all you girls have any questions just ask and im sure i will be able to help.
Chantelle has been thriving this week,she has not needed any panadol and hasnt complained at all of pain.
The boys go back to school tomorrow,we went to the shops and stocked up on freash uniforms,jox,lunch boxes etc and pencil cases and all the things that go in them,i have washed both of there school bags and they have had a hair cut and tips,so they are all ready to go.
My brothers wife has gone into labour she is 16 days OD and so we are waiting for news of the little bundles arrival.it is there first.
My sister has reared her ugly head,she came home last weekend only to collet all of her stuff and tell her son who is 18 that she hates his guts and wish she never gave birth to him and then left,she even had the nerve to send them both tix to australian open and they were fake,she also told the police that her husband was a druggy so they raided his house only to find nothing,if i see her in the streets i am going to punch her in the head,dumb bich,ok its fine if she wants to kove on these things happen but leave them alone for god sakes.

Nikki - Wow about your sister...Sounds a bit dodgy...her poor son and husband...Wow at your brothers wife going 16 days over...especially in this heat!!
Louis only spelt it out on the fridge with letter - he didn't write it just yet...he's working on that- LOL!

I had a tiring weekend, neil decided we were going to kennet river (ont he way to apollo bay) on saturday, without telling me, so I had to cancel 3 things that Id planned. Not happy Jan.
Then there was firends house being threatened byt he LaTrobe/Gippsland bushfires so was worried about that as well.

Sunday we went shopping to look at beds and milo went mental in the shop so we had to leave. we cant go shooping at all without him being strapped into a trolley ot a stroller, or we end up having to leave becuase hes so naughty. To the point where other kids were telling him off - he laughed and said "im a bad boy", and ran off. :(

Milo starts 3yo kinder on Thursday. I have a meeting there on tuesday morning- appreantly all parents have individual meetings when they start...Im not sure whether Milo is supposed to come or not though..

Naturopath appt tonight, my legs have been a lot less sore since wearing the pelvic brace, except for every Sunday when they are really, really painful. I have pilates on Saturdays which is what im putting it down to, cant be a coincidence. But physio doesnt want me to stop pilates.

Everything else is OK with pg, as far as I know, next appt is not for a fortnight, but my Calmbirth course is this weekend so looking forward to that.

Rachael - I can't believe how quickly your p/g has gone!! OMG!! Sorry to hear you've had sore legs.. what a bugger. Cheeky Milo in the shops!! I'm sure he'll settle down soon! Yeah at Milo starting 3yo kinder as well!! Our little babies are growing up!
Sorry to hear you had a stressful weekend...the course sounds interesting for this weekend though!!

Well. Liam is standing up..... OMG can you beleive that my child is doing something this early LOL (poor Jordan I always pick on his laziness but I love him) He started yesterday and has been standing in his cot and today Jamie said he pulled himself up on everything..... watch out I think he may be on the move sooner than I thought.
Jordan starts kinder tomorrow. We have interview day tomorrow so Jamie and I both go with him and stay the entire day then he starts on his own next tuesday.
Cant beleive i start school on wednesday I cant wait

Rach sorry to hear Milo being a little trying but they all do that at times, its the age I think. Cant beleive how quick your preg is going. It means Liam is closer to turning 1 STOP PLEASE he cant do that yet, although I bet you cant wait to meet your little one.

I'm feeling sooo frustrated!! Michaels out and Ethan is still up - grrr! I've been holding/rocking/burping/feeding him for the last nearly 3 hours...I'm going INSANE!!
I am more certain than ever that I'm not having any more babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and he's asleep...hopefully...LOL!

Kristie- you poor thing! you know I'm not all the far from you......if you ever need an extra set of arms to rock a baby when michael is out i am more than happy to pop over and do so!!!

I just watched a devil wears prada on tv while I was with him so that was ok..thank god there's some better tv on at the moment - watched so you think you can dance and biggest loser as well...so yeah - a very productive night! LOL!

Krisite I hope Ethan settles for you its hard when they are unsettled and you are home alone.

Jordan had nice meet and greet with his kinder teacher. He loved the place. Cant wait till he starts properly next week

Well started school today and LOVED IT. we started with first aid and I really enjoyed learning something new and putting into practice. We went into lab and practiced on dummys. It was really good.
Cant wait for tomorrow. Oh and student free day next wednesday LOL. Thats the life

Louis had a ball today! He looked so spunky (wore his new DC sneakers as well! LOL!) and was very excited and proud of himself for being a big kinder boy! We made yummy muffins to celebrate as well! Funnily enough I got interviewed but the teacher didn't bother to see the kids...seemed a bit strange to me. The assistant was really nice though - very warm and caring to the kids...
Ethan's still up..I'm not sure what to do to change his little body clock around...He's generally sleeping in until about 8.30am in the morning...I could probably wake him up but I enjoy getting the up to the boys and getting their brekky in peace! LOL!...oh well...can't last forever!

No phuket for me either - I personally want to see aus and for my girls to see aus before i start OS, and couldnt justify the money either, got other stuff to spend it on......

Staring with our car really- i cant remember if i told you all but on boxing day we sent to the shops and then came out to find our car all smashed up, the whole back of the car is useless (our station wagon) and has buckled and we cant open the tail gate! The person didnt leave any info and nobody saw anything as it typical! There is about $5k damage! OUr insurance excess is $1000 so as soon as i have that sitting there i will be fixing my car up and sellin it!

So i started school yesterday too ,adn i was ****e bored! I even stopped the class room rambling at one stage to point out that i was there to learn about nursing and not there to hear all about everyones issues at their nursing homes they work at! I got applause for saying it though so obviously i wasnt the only one getting frustrated! our teacher just wanted to talk about the good old days and then send us home to do it all! NOT ON! I definately havent paid just over $2000 to teach myself!
We have a different teacher tomorrow so hopefully they are able to keep on track!

I am hoping to get my boss's attention for 5 mins today and quit my job! There are soo many reasons for me to quit that i dont know where to start or what to say to her.... I may end up calling her tomorrow and doing it if i cant catch her attention today

Also Liam sleeps at playgroup time normally and he is the one I want to mainly go for. Once he goes to 1 sleep a day I might look at re enrolling. This will free up my tuesday mornings also.

Tracey, I had lots of spotting on the mini pill but was when AF had returned, but mine was caused because I was taking it at differnt timee. I found I really had to have it within 2-3 hours of the same time each day.

Nikki I'd love to go but Im supposedly goung to Phuket next october (2010) for my brothers wedding and Im finding it hard enough to getn eil to agree to go to that, and save up for it.

Cindy that sux about your car :( Similar thing happened to my old car, someone side swiped it and wrecked the front side panel, half a building site were on lunch directly opposite but no one saw anything...was going to require 2 panels to be replaced and 4 resprayed to fix...luckyily we were saving up to get it done whne someone wrote it off so we got a new one (well, neil got a broken foot though...not that lucky :( )

Rach thanks, well it appears that AF is back now. still have to go to docs though as took the day off work so need certificate. Need to get stuff for Jordans kinder anyway, asthma action plan and i want to ask about immunisations for me.

Well school finished early today which is great i feel like i have learnt stuff today

Its at a private house. 10-4 but am staying over night in narre.
We're going with another couple, someone from BB so not sure how much time will have but possible.

Oh that reminds me I need to talk to neil about how I will get home - he is going home after the first day cos he has a gig on saturday night, and so will be too wrecked to come on Sunday.

Well Liam is now standing up and is determined to get moving. Its freaking me out. Jordan has been good. He is looking forward to kinder again next week. Enjoying a quiet sunday before a long day at work tomorrow.

well i had no idea until i watched the news tonight that marysville was burnt to the ground and only 1 building remains standing.My dads home is lost and he is in hospital,that is all i know at this stage,it is impossible to get any info,im waiting for redcross to call me with more news.

ok ive recieved news that he is ok,smoke inhalation,aggravated due to his cancer.Lilly his wife has somewhere to stay tonight.

Nikki - Glad your dads ok..how sad he lost his house - the main thing is he still has his life though!!

I'm feeling a bit bleurgh at the moment...I think with all the sad news on the fires and just being super tired and feeling a bit rundown...I'm also feeling super grateful though - I have my house and my family!! So not anything to complain about as such..
We had my Dads wedding on Saturday...It was the most eerie drive out ot Yarra Junction - the sky was the most bizarre colour and there was smoke everywhere - Heading over towards Marysville it looked like an atomic bomb had gone off - smoke so high up in the sky. The heat was so full on up there and my sister had embers landing around her house although they weren't hot as such...We decided not to take Ethan as it was an outdoor wedding so mum watched him at my sisters. The boys did really well considering it was 45 when we got there! We ended up having a bit of rain which was black from the ash in the sky. So needless to say the boys got filthy. It was a nice evening though. Mum kept calling cos Ethan was crying though and then I had to take the boys back and feed him...Louis never went to sleep and played with his cousin until 11pm though! I had to drive home to cranbourne with Michael and the boys asleep in the car and I was sooo tired. Got home at 12am though and luckily the boys all went straight back to sleep and Ethan slept through until 6.30am! (from an 8pm feed)

Not sure if I'm going to make it out this weekend...I'll have to see...we're budgeting like crazy at the moment so Geelong adventure park is probably out of the question...Trace - Not sure about heading out for your b'day either...we had already made plans for valentines day...MIchael and I are in desperate need of some time together...(if the baby lets us!) I sound a bit anti-social really...

Cindy - Sorry to hear about your car...glad your course is going well...Did you end up quitting work?

Trace - Fair call on the playgroup..Wow at Liam standing up! What a clever boy! With af - it may have something to do with the pill..I've had 2 periods in the last 3 weeks...I can say it's not helping my mood or energy levels...So over it! I never had Af after having the first 2 boys and now I'm getting it ALL the time...very strange...although I must say I'm fairly erratic in taking it...Lucky there's not much happening in the bedroom to worry about - LOL!

Rachael - Have a good time at your course on the weekend!

Alex - FYI - 4yo kinder applications are now up on the council website - it says they open in Feb for 2010. There are supposedly open days to go to but they are not liseted - I will ask as one of mums friends is a kinder teacher locally.
They allocate places based on birthdate though, so no rush - Im kind of glad, some councile you have to book in from 2years old!

Kristie glad the wedding was OK, sounds like it was a bit scary/eerie though with all that was going on.

Calmbirth course was really good. I think even Neil got someting out of it. Maybe.

Other than that a prettysomber weekend. We have family or friends in bendigo, boolara, drouin, traralgon, myrtleford and yarram, all of whom are ok but all live seen or listened to when not at calmbirth was fires coverage.

My team leader at work got evacuated yesterday, and my bosses mums place is under threat but she wont leave.

well i got huge suprise yesterday. Jamie bought the family tickets to phuket in niv for my bday wow!!! the even better thing is thar nikki and family and alex and family are coming also. we got awesome deal tickets free only had to pay luggage and taxes. I will miss 3 days of school but hopefully should be ok
Jordan had 1st day kinder alone and he was not bothered at all so pleased jami has taken him today.

Kristie i hope you and michael get some time alone for valentines, will be nice. sounds like you need some time without boys.

Tracey - How exciting!!! Glad Jordan did well at Kinder!

Rachael - I got the 4yo kinder application at Ethans 2 week check up!! Crazy!!! Glad the course went well!! Hope all your friends are ok!

My friend Bean dropped in this morning with photos and stuff to leave out our house. She lives in Gembrook and the fires are nearby...hopefully they are under control before they reach her house! She lives in 15 acres of thick scrub so chances of her house surviving would be pretty slim if it reaches her.
We're cut off from Michaels mum and dad at the moment but the fires aren't close to them so thats ok at the moment...They are more in a paddock but have bush around them so they should be pretty safe even if a fire approaches though...

Well, I've had Ethan sleep through 3 days out of the last 5 so can't complain too much!! Once he's a sleep at night he's good other than maybe 1 feed! Had Louis crawl into bed last night though at about midnight - I think the boys really sense somethings going on - they haven't said anything but we've had the news on a bit which we don't normally do...I won't be putting it on again now when they're awake though and we'll avoid talking about it too much. Even Dylan woke up heaps and heaps last night as well...Michael didn't get home until nearly 2am so I'm buggered this morning having to deal with the kids all night - I never sleep well when Louis or Dylan is in the bed either...oh well..he's on baby duty tonight!!
Dylan and Ethan went into creche yesterday while I took Louis swimming - They did really well and it was so nice to have one on one time with Louis in the pool - he did really well!! I think a couple more lessons and he'll be right back into the swing of things!

Well, I better get organised - Louis has kinder today - his first day on his own - just an hour! I'm sure he'll be fine!

Hey chicks!!

From the looks of facebook sounds like last night was a hit! So sorry i couldnt make it...Al didnt end up getting home till well after 7 and the girls were actually in bed not long after that! I had not let them have day sleeps so i could have them sleep on the drive over to the party but that made for some VERY feral children to deal with!

How did today go at geelong???
Kristie and i ended up catching up this arvo to do some lay-buy shopping which was fun, always good to catch up kristie, and that little man of yours is so tiny and cute!! Thanks for letting me have cuddles with him.

Rach - i cant believe how fast your pregnancy has gone! Have you decided on your short list of names yet?

Cindy - Was great to catch up - I was saying to Michael how we could just chatterbox all night and then laughed thinking about how we did the last time we went shopping! LOL!
Will be nice when we can catch up kid free one day!! (not too long away...) Although Ethan was pretty good! He screamed the whole way home though!! Got him to bed about 9pm so that wasn't too bad...
We will definitely have to go back soon for a shopping spree for us!!

We had a nice day yesterday...Michael worked and brought me home beautiful flowers so was very spoilt and the boys made Michael a valentines day card. We also made some little raspberry tarts with little heart shapes so that was cute! Michael and I snuggled up and watched a movie which was really nice! He had a fun day with the boys today while I was out with with Ethan so that was good too...

Anyway...must get to sleep, I'm buggered!! Chat later!

Sorry we werent able to come to Geelong, had almost convinced DH to go when I rememered it was mums enjo party - at my house! So didnt end up with much of a choice.

Cindy yep we have pretty much decided on boys and girls names now. I hope!

It doesnt feel like its going fast to me! hahaha. I think third trimester goes the slowest though. 9 weeks of work to go and counting.

Milo is still in the converted cot/bed. Neil has finished painting what will be his new bed in the short term, while we save up to get him a new one, probably for Christmas with any luck. Am looking at lowheight loft beds or bunks. the onees I have seen look pretty safe, good sized rails to stop falling, and they're quite low - about my chest height.

I just want the cot back to being a cot so I can get the baby's room sorted, and Milo in his bed ASAP so he doesnt think the new baby is stealing his bed!

LOl at forgetting you had an enjo party Rachael!! I'm sure you'll get everything organised with beds - but I know how it feels just wanting to get everything done!!!

OK. For anyone whos not going away for the Labour Day weekend, and wants to come play at my place on the Monday your welcome to.

Depending on the weather - we dont have aircon so if its going to be 40 or something insane maybe we can go to a playcenter or somewhere instead.

Well Hello everyone I am now 29!!!!!
Had a great party saturday night. The kids had a ball, Jordan ended up naked at one point HMMMMM he is always taking his clothes off :) Got to bed at 2am and was woken by Liam at 7am. SOOO tired on sunday

Alex thanks for the yummy desserts, EVERYONE loved the cheesecake. Was great to have you there and I think Jack had a ball.

Nikki was so nice to see you and Grant. Jamie just gets along with Grant so well, its great to see. Jordan has decided Harry is his best friend SO CUTE.

Rach good idea about moving Milo into the big bed. Its nice to have him settled before your new arrival comes along. I think we are away labour day, some car show in albury. I will let you know

Well Jordan has another small day at kinder tomorrow and then wednesday its all the kids for 2 hrs OMG I think he will be ok though.
I start the real work at school this week with 3 subjects... and I can feel the homework coming on. I am mega excited though.
I also went on shopping spree at lunch and bought 2 tops, 2 singlets a belt and a cardi. LOVING IT and I still have bday money to spend.

I had school again today - we got given our stethascopes and BP machines etc which was rather exciting! THe stethascope is bright pink!! Soooo cool
