Hi girls,
Man I wish I had enjoyed the time more when Emily didn't crawl!!! She has discovered the dogs water bowl and crawls to it every chance she gets and gets so wet!!! And she always does it when I'm pumping and can't get to her quickly!!!
I have a back to work date..Aug 3rd. Not really sure how I feel about it yet. I will only be going back 3 days so I think I might enjoy it but then again I'll miss Emily heaps!!! I'm worried DH isn't going to do things they way I do them and mess it all up!!!
She has started having some formula to around 120mls mixed in with my milk, she seems to have no dramas with it. I think I want to be done with pumping by the time i go back to work. Again we'll see, formula is expensive!
Mel good to see you back hun! Glad you have moved and seem to be in such a better place! Ashton is a clever boy.
Kerry I hope work isn't to stressful for you! Good you are finally getting a car. I'm jealous of all these babies with teeth! 8 for matthew wow!
Gotta go little miss sounds like she is coughing up a lung!!
-
Hey Eej, or should I now say Ezy, I hope Em is ok! Ash just got over a horrible cough, it was horrible he would have coughing fits for a couple of minutes and even threw up a couple of times. But it's passed after a week.
The only thing I can say abotu the crawling is I KNOW! It was great moving though, because I Ashton Proofed the house as I was unpacking :) The best bet is to move the dog bowl, and remember that baby gates are your best friend lol

Hi everyone
Lauren, yay for Liberty taking some steps. Hope she gets better quickly.
Mel, glad to hear the move went well. Has Ashton's teeth come through yet? Why does teething have to be so painful for the poor little mites.
Erin, I have the same problem with the dog bowl. But the good thing is that now when I'm trying to cook dinner I put Ashlyn on a towel on the floor and give her a tray with cups and water to play with. I can cook a whole meal in peace! Try not to worry too much about work. Daddy's might do things differently, but they have lots of fun together. Since going back to work we've discovered that if DH puts Ashlyn to bed she sleeps way better.
Kerry, Ashlyn makes heaps of sounds, mostly by accident to. But she said Dadda while looking at him so I'm pretty sure she knew what she meant. How are you going with work and feeding? I've already found my supply has dropped off heaps and had to leave Ashlyn with a bottle of formula the other day. I really hope I can keep things going for a couple more months.
Niamh, glad the bullying is being sorted out.
Pam, well done on still being on your diet. I fell of the wagon and just can't seem to get it together.
Things are going along well here. Ashlyn has started trying to crawl on hands and knees, not just commando. She has also started pulling herself up on furniture and can take a couple of steps with assistance. She is changing so much at the moment!!
Anyway, I should go because I'm supposed to be doing some housework!

YAY BRETT GOT A JOB!! So excited. Most likely at Brunswick Heads but working the first few weeks out of Ballina. And he has another interview for Tweed Heads where we were living before. So hopefully within the next few weeks we'll be able to move :)
And we got in really quickly for the xray so we have our barium swallow x-ray at 9 tomorrow morning and i have to fast her no food no water for four hours before hand. Hopefully this gets sorted out easily.
I can't believe how big your boys are Mel and Kerry. Liberty is still 8.5kg!!
And she started saying dada too. Still says nana and mama and she's just started opening and shutting her hands while waving them up in the air (hard to explain) when we're singing Twinkle Twinkle to her. I'm so proud of her, its so beautiful watching her grow up.
Can't believe captain and ezymay that you're both still expressing - yikes what a long haul!! And ezymay, you've probably already tried this but if you have a problem with emily's eye maybe try putting some breastmilk in it - I've heard bm is good for both adults and babies eye infections. I remember they told us that in hospital. Its worth a try??
and I can't believe it Kerry 8 teeth YIKES!! You poor thing having so much teething all close together at least its mostly over and done with for a while though. Still only the two bottom teeth here.
Better go, hi to everyone I missed :D

Hello Lovelies,
Gosh I cannot believe all your babies are soon to be one - where does the time go. And all the nickname changes took me a little while to work out who was who  but then I am a bit slow ;)
Not much is happening with me - which is wonderful and hopefully will stay that way for the next half of the pregnancy, most of you probably know by now anyway, but if not, Nikita is going to have a little sister  now comes the difficult part of finding a name
I love reading about what all your little ones get up to :D
-
Hey Nae!
It's another girl? Thats wonderful! Congratulations!
I am sure you will find the perfect name for her. Plenty of time yet, seeing as you have until 40 weeks! Yes, you will get to 40 wks! Woo!

-
Congratulations, Nae, on your pink news! I tracked your news in your poll thread - very exciting! What names are on your short list so far?
Tenille, I'm finding it really tough going being back at work. I feel like I'm not doing a very good job at anything. I'm so tired and I'm just not organised enough. I don't think it's affected my milk supply yet, but it's something I'm worrying about because Matthew won't take a bottle. Thus far, I've been able to get to the sitters to feed him at 10:30am and again at 1:30pm during the morning recess and lunch breaks. But I've had to take a full day out to supervise a debate team at a school in a town two hours away. And will have to do the same again on Tuesday this week. I'm struggling, to be honest.
Woohoo, Lauren! Way to go, Brett. Must be such a huge relief. Hope all goes well for Liberty's x-ray tomorrow morning. Big hugs!!!
Erin, I'm in awe that you've kept up the pumping so long. You're such a good mummy!! Hope Emily gets over her cough soon.

Great to see you pop in Nae. I always love it when you do!
I have been posting in ur boy/girl thread but will say here too how pleased I am its a girl!!!! I think you will find the perfect name!
Mel- I do usually move the bowl but sometimes I forget and she is straight into it:doh:
T- thanks! 2 bits of great advice there.
Kerry- Aww big hugs I hope the work situation gets better. Your sweet to say that about pumping thanks!
Lauren- Yay for brett!! That's great news

Thanks ladies :grouphug:
Names - hmmm we haven't really discussed it too much yet, Chris still likes Shae Staben which I am NOT a fan of (thanks to mother) I am a bit suck on Savannah Staben with no middle name but Chris doesn't like it and thats all we have so far  still plenty of time though but for me Savannah feels the way Nikita did I just need to give him time to warm to it (read, time for me to nag him enough for it)
No perssies sorry but I might get a chance later depending on work.
love to all
mmmwwwaaahhhhh
Nae x

oh wow congrats nae!! I didn't know that you'd found out yet. So happy that you've made it this far and can't wait to see your baby girl in another 21 weeks time :) mmm make that 22 - be overdue!! and I love the name savannah (similar names that I like are ......sahara, sienna or sierra, don't have time to pop over to your thread atm - sorry!!)
eeek I'm supposed to be packing but quickly wanted to let you know how today went. Well we're on a roll of good luck. No endometriosis or cysts for me which is a big sigh of relief! And the x-ray this morning went ok too. Nothing new just told us that she has reflux and so that's good that nothing else is wrong but I wish we could solve the choking thing rather than just having to wait for her to grow out of it (read your fb thing ezymay and you must feel so frustrated about the doctors with emily's cough - hope she feels better really soon!!). It was absolutely AWFUL to watch Liberty doing the barium swallow and I hope I never have to do it again as I had to help pin her down for it (arms and head and another nurse did the legs and bum). Poor thing has red dots all over the top of her head from broken capillaries from screaming and crying so hard. She was going to town poor darling and has been very clingy, feeding all day and keeps on having bad dreams with all her naps since. I feel awful but the nurse explained before hand that it would be like that and its short term pain for long term gain of finding out what's wrong (not that we ended up learning anything except that she'll stay on anti-reflux meds longer). There was a work experience kid watching and I think he's going to be a bit traumatised from doing radiology now poor guy.
oh dear now its late and i still haven't packed. i'll be down in lismore till the weekend so hope u all have a really good week and your bubs do lots of exciting things in the meantime, can't wait to read it all
-
oh no poor Liberty :( That would have to be the most awful thing to watch. Give her lots and lots of cuddles and comfort, I can't even imagine :( Hugs to you too.
-

Happy 10 months Arabella! Well you must have the oldest bubba then lol Have we adopted you in this baby group?? :P
I can't believe were almost 10 months, all of our bubs. How fast has that gone! I remember what seems like yesterday coming in to say Ashton was rolling and he was under a month old. Now we're all almost 10 months (or 10 months)
