Whoa you work fast Shell, congratulations!!!!
Thats good that he see's them Bea. I cannot believe your SIL wont let him have the older two girls overnight, thats just silly.
Yeah move is fast approaching. And I am so not prepared.
So am I going to be left to TTC on my own in August? Who's going to join me? Someone pretty pleeeeeeeease?
Bea - I can't imagine how tough it is for you atm. Why can't the girls stay at his sis's of the weekends?
Nelle - Ha ha at where you are living being called the sticks. When I lived in Mitcham people were telling me that was the stix. I wonder what they would think of Gisborne :P
AnnaT - You must be mega busy atm.
How are the girls going Caddie? Any better.
I feel terrible atm. I got really angry at J, as he has been spitting food out of his mouth. Also he is refusing to spoon feed himself, and won't eat unless I do it. He has become so fussy with his eating. he basically doesn't want anything. I end up hiding food in pureed fruit or yoghurt.
I have been quietly lurking, we have all been sick for a couple of weeks
SHELL....HUGE CONGRATS GIRL, I HAVE BEEN CHECKING YOUR CHART DAILY, AND THOUGHT IT WAS LOOKING RATHER GOOD FOR A BFP :happyforyou:
Having a crappy time ATM, won't bore you all by going into it. But wanted to say a massive CONGRATULATIONS shell honey! That's fantatsic news.
:happyforyou: Sending lots and lots of :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: your way!
umm he can only have them on the weekends that he has the sat and the sunday off, which isnt very often.
I have been looking up rentals for him today and have printed a few so hopefully he will get a place of his own.
Bea- Hopefully if you get the ball rolling for him by doing that he'll find himself somewhere and set himself up quickly. I don't see why his sister is being like that. I'm sure the kids would love to see him too.
Jodi- whatever it is I hope you sort it out and remember you can always 'bore' us with the details.
Chrissy- I was just wondering how you were going. Seems this sickness thing is getting round everywhere.
Caddie- How is your sick ones going?
Meg- I posted before but lost it cause site playing up but was just saying try not to stress too much. Ash is fussy eater some days she barely eats anything. Best advice I can give is try not to stress. I read you can't force them only thing parent can do is offer nutricious foods its the toddlers job to eat it. Like today Ash has had few mouthfuls for lunch and dinner and thats it. As for spitting food that drives me nuts, I have taught Ash if she is going to spit it out to do so on her plate! What bugs me even more is something she loves on day she won't even try the next.
Nelle- Pakenham has heaps families down that way and Berwick too. Grandma lives down there, feels miles away to me!
AnnaT- I'm sure you'll get a preg buddy, you can't have Meg cause she is mine (hear that Meg) Maybe Rach? Wonder how she is going.
CONGRATULATIONS SHELL!!! THAT IS GREAT NEWS.......QUICK WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meg - Rylee is a hopeless eater at the moment, I am really trying to do yummy dinners for her but she just chucks tanties so what can you do, I don't want to turn it into a battle......
Sorry for not doing personals, a bit knackered, DH is sick now.......
Will try and BBL
Laurin
No good that your dh is sick Laurin!
Meg, could you just leave snacks lying around the house so J can help himself when he wants? At least then he's eating something.
Aww Jodi, what's up?
I'm alright, just finding it difficult at the moment with the 2 girls. We've had a few rough nights with Emily and are surviving on very minimal sleep. Nina up until yesterday was being a right little turd. Yesterday and today she's been a lot better, but still pushing me to my limits.
Sorry for lack of personals, Heath has just got Emily asleep, so I'm going in for a shower while Nina is preoccupied watching her dvd.
J ate a wonderful dinner tonight. I went ack to basics and gave him mashed veggies with some tuna. He still made me feed him, but better than the last few days.
Then I did fresh fruit platter for dessert. At first he started spitting the fruit, so I added a spoon on vanilla yoghurt so at least he (messily) fed himself some fruit. He has been using a fork a little, but mainly his hands for the fruit.
I dunno - I see kids his age, and they all seem so much more advanced than J........ Just my anxieties coming back in.
Jodes - Hope you manage to get some rest.
Nelle - I have tried the leaving snack thing to no avail.
Just a quick one!
CONGRATULATIONS SHELL!!! so happy for you!!
Must be the week for sleep depravation, ruby a little better today but had a meltdown last night from lack of sleep.Ive been managing about 4 hrs anight for the last 2 weeks.Las night was better but still up twice.Running on low..
BBL for personals when everyone here is happy.
Meg, honestly hon, if you're worried about J's skills, come visit us, I'd be very surprised if Riv was more advanced than J. He doesn't talk (though I think he said 'no' today when I was telling him off for knocking a picture off the wall :P), he only started walking at 18months, and he doesn't feed himself often, although he can. He's only recently started to be interested in actually looking at the content of books, as opposed to just turning pages. But I'm not worried, his comprehension is excellent, he understands us fine. I just think every kid develops in their own sweet time, depending on their interests and personality - Riv's laid back, so not needing to demand anything (so not much talking) and not in a hurry to get anywhere (so a late walker), and he LOVES food so would rather we feed him (we're quicker)...but he's very observant, into detail, so hence the unscrewing and untying and obsession with wheels and spinning things.
Anyway, long story short, it doesn't sound like there's much to worry about because I reckon that at this age all kids develop really differently and then as they get older they start to even out a bit more.
Ahh this double posting is giving me the irrits.
Thanks for all the congrats girls. I'm still paranoid that its a false reading or something, won't feel comfortable til 12 week scan when I see for real!
Caddie- I don't know how you are surviving! I think once she is totally recovered you might sleep for a week.
Meg- I agree with wise Nelle, they all do own thing at own time.
Jodi- Hope things start settling down and you get some sleep.
Laurin- God you hardly get to see your Dh and now he is sick!

So not gonna say much.
Ambz - i am glad that things have settled down.
Went to gold class last night and say Sex and the City. It was really good. J is at mum, so I better go and pick him up. Ahhhh What a difference a proper sleep in can make :)
