Anna - Great name! But I thought Gage was great too.
Jodi - Tiana loves the lights too. When we are driving all you hear from the back is 'pretty lights, oh more pretty lights!' She isnt as good with presents though. If i had any out she would be opening them!
Maz - I'm sure Mat will catch up fast. He has done so well, he will continue to do so I'm sure.
Caddie - What did you do with your day to yourself?
Ness - Hope the move goes smoothly!
Chrissy - Hope that the kiddies are behaving and the bike is coming together!
Not much going on here. My sister is home from the Navy for christmas and automatically got roped in for babysitting duties! We are having xmas lunch at mums but opening presents here in the morning.Tiana has destroyed the bottom half of the tree there is like 4 decorations left within her reach!!!
John has been away all week, his birthday was yesterday so we will get takeaway tonight and play the Wii (his present). He is away again Sun but will be home Tues I think. Just in time to put the tramp together on wednesday... I am really excited about giving it to Tiana! She will love it.
What is everyone doing for Xmas day?
How is everyone else?
-
She's going to love the trampoline. We got Nina one for her birthday, and we're on it everyday. She's pretty good at doing different bounces now.
For Christmas Day, we're going to my parents for lunch. We usually have it here, but it's too much hassle with the 2 kids this year. Apart from that, not much planned. Probably just relaxing in the pool. It's usually one of the hottest days of the year here on Christmas Day, so as long as we're in air con, or a pool, it doesn't matter
-
Merry Christmas ALL
off to Agnes this arvie, then tuesday we drive up to Rocky to have xmas eve, day with mum, my sister, BIL, 3 nephews, 1 neice, 2 foster kids and us :) then boxing day down to g'stone for another xmas feast :o with IL's, SIL and nephew
then I think on about the 28th we go back to Agnes and dont come home till the 4th :dance:
and Shell I wont forget if we get to bundy will definatly call :D
-
We're having xmas lunch at my uncles sister place, be bout 20 adults and half dozen kids, quite fun we do a crappy KK where you spend $5 and try find crappiest gift, good for a laugh. We'll prolly pop into my ILs late arvo/ dinner to catch up with them and BIL so be busy day.
Jodi- Not sure how much Ash actually understands, she knows there are pretty lights and presents and santa but don't know if she relates it to xmas or they are just things around at the moment. She loves it all anyway.
AnnaT- Nice pick, we must like each others tastes in here if we like using the names!
Meg- when you get yr results from the test? And yeah we've had some probs with blankets being off and getting cold, our bedrooms all upstairs so they are warmer then most and I've just been putting flanlette PJs on and socks so she been ok. More in colder months its prob and I usually just put lots extra layers clothes on.
Maz- Oh god how Vy today? Ash been playing up bit more than usuall lately will be sweet as pie one sec then screaming like devil next. Its bloody tiring. Hopefully Mat will pick up quickly, being the tough fighter he is he'll be moving in leaps and bounds after he fully gets over the virus.
Bea- That'll be great for you to get the whole night off. I don't think it'll take you too long to find some dates. you're a hotty!
Df car fixed, all that money later but at least its going well, Df reakons better than its been working for a long time so still got life in it.
How everyone else progressing with TT? Ash sits on toilet constantly but won't do a thing and will only sit there for like 10 secs so wouldn't even have time. Drives me nuts she seems eager in the loo, knows when she is going to poo cause she goes in another room and when I have her nappy off she also goes elsewhere to wee, usually same room so she knows what she is doing, just won't do on toilet. I think next week we'll just have to tackle full on and have no nappy at home just training pants and see how we go.
-
Rach - Getting confused with names again??!! Hopefully you'll make it in, but don't make a special trip in, I know you guys are flat out as it is.
Shell - Weeellllll.....Miss A decided to do a poo in the toilet yesterday without telling me. Some of it made it into the toilet  and she did try to wipe her bottom........
Bea - Just wanted to say congrats on feeding MJ for 9 months!!! You did so well honey, I'm so proud of you :D And enjoy your night out, I'm thinking we're overdue for one ourselves, DH and I don't get to go out much as a couple, we don't have many babysitters, and they usually are busy themselves. Oh well, I 'spose it won't be too much longer and Miss B and Miss T will be old enough to babysit Miss A (and she'll be old enough to be able to be babysat by them). Still a few years down the track though.
Jodi - We have a constant chorus of "Santa Claus is coming to town" and "Jingle Bell Rock" in our house at the moment, and I got told that "Mummy, you better watch out!!!" (with a concerned look on her face) "why?" "Cause Santa's coming to town!!!" (runs away laughing her head off!)
Maz -
Hi everyone else. Sorry, gotta run, my little munchkin is being a bit demanding, and I've got my niece here as well.

:redface:yep woopsie sorry!!!!!!!! old age setting in
Shell - :redface:TT is going fantastic here, Jack tells me if he wants jocks or nappies, been on anti so a few extra #2 so he has wanted nappies a bit more but thats ok, we have had afew trips out in jocks he went to a friends place in jocks they went swimming and after 1 hr or so he jumps out with toit mummy toit, and yep he needed to go,same thing we went to mums group party we were there over 3 hrs and all of a sudden mummy toit so jack is at that stage of being able to hold it for a few hours .... I would say we still average 1 accident every 2 days and usually if he has a had a big dinner and taken a while to eat it. It takes time and patience we did a few days where we did nothing no going anywhere etc seemed to help good luck hope she picks it up soon :)
-
shar - that's hillarious!! Won't be long and you'll have babysitters, and FINALLY get some free time to yourself!! Are you still b/f, how is that going?
b - I wanna see some pics of that tattoo. I'd love to get another, maybe on my ankle or something.
tt is going really well here. Haven't used nappies in about 3 months now. Soooo much less hassle with just undies. The last accident we had was at Nina's b'day party, she was having so much fun, and I think she forgot to go to the toilet  We still put a nappy on her at night, but some nights latley she's insisted on wearing undies to bed, and she hasn't had an accident.
shel - that kk idea sounds like fun!!
Enjoy your holiday Rach.

No progress on TT here, and I don't have the energy. like Ash, he may sit there for 10 sec then jumps off. I don't want to make it into a battle, so I am going to leave it for the moment.
Something good, J has eated all his veggies 2 nights in a row, so I am pleased. Admittedly it was mixed up with meatballs that had a tomato based sauce, and they were mashed, but better than none! I have been sneaking veggies into all sorts of meat dishes, so nice that he ate them outright for once. I have to spoon feed him main, or he just won't eat it, but worth it as he is eating better.
Rach- Have a great time away. Glead jack is going well with TT.
Bea - Saw your tat pics of facebook!!
M3G - j has been singing Jingle Bells too! Loves it so much that I have downloaded it onto the comp. His fave songs atm, as jingle Bell, Little drummer boy, I like to Move it move it (thanks to Madagaskar) and Bob the builder. Basically they are playing on repeat here.
Shell - THey didn't call today about GD results. they said that they would call if it was positive. I will rest easy after Monday as they would Def have them by then.

Hello all.
Jodi.. i dont think Jesse completely understands but he loves seeing pictures of santa and christmas trees everywhere. He doesnt understant that one night hes going to go to bed and then wake up and there will be all these presents under the tree. So will be a nice surprise. Hes big into present opening so im not putting any under until christmas eve.
Anna.. i really like the name River. Great choice!
Shell.. Jesse's not at all interested in TT. He has a toilet seat and every night before we have a shower he will say "wee" to sit on the toilet. As soon as he sits there he wants off. Same thing happens every night. Im not pushing it at all as i dont want him to get scared as hes very insecure with new objects it seems. So just wanting to sit there if even only for 10 seconds, its a start. He starts day care next year so am hoping after he sees all the kids going there he becomes keen.
Meg.. oh thats great J is eating his vegies. Jesse still wont unless its in something and hes oblivious to it.
We are spending Christmas morning at home.. DH may have to go into work at lunch time for a little bit but then in the arvo are going to the IL's. Dont know when we will be seeing my family.. long story, but basically had a fight with mum yesterday about excluding my family for a reason i dont know, from THEIR family get together. anyways.
Jesse and Keira are really well. Not much to tell here. DH is at his work Christmas Party tonight, Jesse's already in bed and Keiras on my lap. Hoping theres some Christmas movies on tonight for me to watch while i wrap presents.
Hope everyone is well.
-
Kell- I hope you sort things out with your mum. Its funny how at xmas time all these things happen where families exclude each other (also happened to close friend of mine) and I think isn't it time of year especially we should be really family orientated? Hopefully its something you can work out together.
Meg- We try hide vegies too, or offer a sauce, Ash has been quite good tho, as long as she has bit sauce (anything) or mash potato to dip into she is happy. I hear you on the feeding too, we start her off on her own but she plays round and will take ages to eat few mouthfuls then says finished so we have to feed her just to get decent amount in.
Ness- Saw yr tattoo on FB, look great, I have small heart tattoo on my left boob and was thinking after #2 is done with BFing getting his/ her name and Ashleigh's name put above and below it, close to my heart then!
And thanks all for the TT answers, I knwo they're all so different was just hoping to get alot progress made before #2 arrives mainly for the fact that buying nappies for 2 will cost a fortune! We will persevere, Df is home on holidays so togther we can use our energies to get it going.
-
shell - just remember if she makes progress with tt before bub arrives, she may go backwards once bub is here. You may need to wait until after bub has arrived and things have settled down. Nina was showing signs of wanting to tt before Emily arrived, but I waited until Emily was about 3 or 4 months old, when things have gone back to normal, then I started tt her.
kel - oh that sucks, I really hope you can get things sorted out. I hate it when ***** like that happens, and you have no idea why it's happening in the first place. My mum and I are going through that with my nanna ATM. It really does your head in.
How often will Jesse be going to daycare for next year? Just a day or 2?
Food wise, well Nina eat her vegies, but HATES fruit with a passion. There is nothing I can do to get her to eat it, yet she'll eat it at kindy  Weird child.
We were over at my mum's for dinner tonight, and Nina was looking at the presents under her tree. And when she found out that none were for her, she was very upset  Mum has purposely hidden hers! lol
-
Well Ive just wrapped all of the christmas presents. Now to finish up Ripleys birthday shopping at the after xmas sales and wrap them, and then Im officially done with presents til September! Why oh why though did I have to have all the kids birthdays 3mths apart AND covering one major holiday period (or perhaps even two with easter in April)
Maybe we should put up the christmas tree too this weekend  Jett loves redecorating the tree's at daycare, so Im loathe to put any decorations below head level for him. Might go get some cheapie ones from Crazy Clarkes that he can destroy if he wants.
Shell - Ive heard the same thing re TT and new siblings! Which is why even though Jett has made *some* progress, albeit very slow progress, Im not pushing it til after River arrives. Some days he is obssessive about going potty, others he flatly refuses, and sometimes he just takes himself off in there. We have some stickers he gets as rewards for doing something on the toilet and he is NOT allowed to have toilet paper or flush unless he goes otherwise its a fun game for him that gets us nowhere. I figure its a good start and one day he'll just be 110% into it and train overnight.
Well Im off to bed, completely knackered :asleep:
-
I hear you on the fascination of toilet paper and flushing the toilet paper! Nina even takes her dolly's to the toilet. Yes, apparently they need to do wees and poos as well. They even get toilet paper, and she flushes the toilet for them. :wall:
belle - honey have a fantastic day at Tara's christening. Make sure you enjoy the day, don't worry about anything. I wish I could have been there. I hope you like the present.
-
AnnaT - I meant to say in my last post htat I think you have chosen a lovely name. Personally I like River much more than Gage, but either choice would have been good.
Kell - I hope Christmas Day works out and that you don't let the famiyl stuff spoil the day with the kidlets.
-
Merry Christmas
I hope you all have a lovely chrsitmas and a safe and happy new year!
Thought I would pop on while I have a moment. Babies are doing well. DH and I are completely exhausted all 4 kids have a bad cold and it is really tough having 2 babies with blocked noses and problems. We are usually averaging about 2-4hrs sleep a night broken. Anyway Tallulah is asleep and Gabriel is content in his swing so I better go and wrap some presents. Augh Gabriel is no longer content. Better go.
-
Oh no Helen I hope you all feel better soon!
-
Not much to say here..
Hi helen, nice to see your ok except for the cold.
Annat whats your secret? Trying for number 4?
