ainsleigh again took ages to go to sleep, but it is also stinking hot here, even at 8pm

anna** - i have a confession to make. i did the gardening like a good wife should.... i slept with the baby. it was too hot in the nursery and i could not leave her on our bed alone in case she chose today to start rolling!!! i went out and helped tonight tho, so we have half finished the planting.... it will look great when it's finished.

ok, i'm off to snuggle up and watch a movie with my hubby... have a good night girls xx

Shellbell.. aww you poor thing, the cricket drives me insain too... but for me whats worse is the damn Warcraft computer game!! DH is always playing it.. last night with dinner.. he always likes to mash the potatos.. so everythings ready and i need him to mash, ill be 5 seconds.. 5 seconds later.. im like cmon everythings gonna get cold.. i was about to mash them myself and he came over.. but its like that all the time.. i need him to do something or take Jesse and he's playing that damn game.. drives me bonkers! I hope Ash settle shortly after last night.

Nelle.. oh thats a great idea.. i need one of those myself to hit DH when he's playing his games and i need him!

Jesse has taken to squeeling.. has any other bubs done this? Its driving me crazy.. its cute but it sounds terrible and gave me a headache yesterday... he just squeels at the top of his voice while he's playing.. he does it too instead of laughing. FIL said DH did it when he was a bub too. But i dont know if its just one of those things you have to put up with and theyll grow out of it as telling him to stop at this age is making no difference.

I knew after ash took so long to settle she's be up and down all night, like every couple of hours! she's asleep now in my bed, had to take her in there at 6:50 cause she thought it was playtime and I said no way!

Kellxx- My Df used to play that but we were silly and didn't have any virus protection on our computer so we ended up with this big virus that interfered with our internet! After that he wouldn't play it, went back to playstation!
Oh and Ash also squeals, she loves doing it. Once she first did it she just kept on doing it.

maz- Owie on the toe, its always the way when you hurt something it will always be the part you always knock!

rikki- I hope that stinking hot weather doesn't come to me!

Helen.p- Hi Helen, yes I have missed you!

Nelle- Can I get a real bat rather than inflatable? Df didn't even come home so to me that says I got ****ed. He's not allowed to come home when he's ****ed cause he ends up waking everyone then I get mad. Well I am anyways at the moment.

Now ashleigh is still asleep and I want her up! Don't like her starting the day too late cause it throws everything out of whack but can't wake her after being up and down all night!

Hi guys, you are all too sweet.

I have missed so much, but will try to do as many personals as possible, but I know I am going to miss heaps of you, so sorry. I will try to catch up with you all soon.

Well update on Eithan. We can finally pull him up using his hands and he pulls himself too and holds his head when doing this. His neck doesnt pull to the side practically at all anymore. He rolls to his side. Not rolling yet. He squeals when he plays. He will scream in the middle of sleeping, in pain, and then will go back to sleep. I still check the bed for spiders though and have to settle him then. He is starting to suck his thumb (like his dad did). He will take the dummy out and chew on it and suck on his thumb. He swaps them backwards and forwards. He is starting to chuckle a lot. He adores his sister so much that when DH took her camping, what I thought would be easier, ended up being harder, as all he wanted was her. I have tried him in the bumGenius nappy overnight with an extra microfibre thingy in it. It lasts him all night (not that he sleeps all night yet). I love it so I will be getting some more soon. I found a lady in Tassie that sells them, so I am happy about that, wont have to wait so long for them to arrive. Umm what else, his eyes. Have no idea whar colour they are going to be. They are still quite dark. When you look through them sideways they are light brown, but front on they are grey/green. So who knows, DH's eyes werent brown until he was 12mths old. He is still tiny. In 00's (even with a clothie!) and 000's. He has a cold at the moment. I am still up numerous times through the night and the earliset I have been able to get him to bed is 10:30pm.

ugh after all that I dont have time to do many personals as Eithan and Bella are both getting tetchy.

Well all of these ladies TTC, wow you are all maing me clucky, however due to different health reasons I have made a promise that I wont be TTC until I have lost all of my weight and also we are going to be building a house and I need to be able to help so we wont be TTC until we start with the building.

Shell-What a naughty DH you have there. I hope that ash settles for you tonight. Poor thing you must be so tired.

Kellxx-That Elmo sounds great. Warcraft, ugh I know what you mean. We dont have the internet one, as I refuse to spend that much money having him stuck on the cpu.(ppor DH) But he did go through a stage of the normal ones and it drove me crazy. That's what he played everynight that I was in hosp after having Eithan and I came home to a house that you could hardly recognise(covered in mess).

Caddie-Huge hugs. I hope you are coping ok with your family going away.

Maz-Broken toe, ouchie. I heavily bruised my 2 weeks ago and it was a magnet for hitting things after that. I hope that you are feeling ok now and that the kids are being good.

Belle-Will email you back soon. I hope that you are coping better with the medication change.

Chrissy-whip, whip. I hope you caught the eggie and are enjoying a rest during your TWW.

Nice hearing of you and your troop helen! Thats great eithan can sit up and roll to the side.Sounds about the extent of what ruby does,she is having an xray on the 31st of her skull and paeds appoint on 7th feb.So hoping all goes well.
Goota go millana is seesawing ruby in the rocker and just about flipped her out!!!!

OMG poor Ruby. Was it a bad fall from the rocker? I hope she is ok. Thanks Caddie. I hope that all goes well with the xray and paed appointment.

Ok question time girlies......has anyone noticed how easily their baby gets woken up now? Its driving me spare. Jed is a light sleeper and so is WIlhelm so I guess Vy has caught the bug. I cant even vacumm any more without her waking from the noise and thats with her door closed...what are you girls doing about it (if its happening to you)

My SIL rang last night and told us her boyfriend finally popped the question. Their looking at getting married August - September next year! CR@P we havent told them we're going to start again in October. We're going to keep it a secret from Jed's family. Oh going back to my SIL - she has already told us that Vy is going to be her flower girl. My god, Vy will be almost 2 by then. Thats scarey!

Vy being almost 2? That is scary Maz! And Riv is a mostly sound sleeper, it's only sudden noises that wake him, and that's only sometimes.

Hey Helen is that lady in Tasmania the Baby Soft Landings store? That's a cool store.

Did Ash wake up Shell? River's all out of whack too I reckon, but I don't mind, I just sleep when he sleeps.

Speaking of sleep, I slept in til about 2 :eek: today so I'm off to have a shower and then I'll get some groceries and stuff. We've got a new tumble dryer and Rans is really excited about it, so he's doing all the washing so he can dry it, and he's racing around the house cleaning everything! Wierd! So I might go have my shower and then help him out a bit before we go out for dinner tonight :D

I have been out and about and also had a really really bad day yesterday. DH cannot cope with my panic attacks..Everything is all a bit everywhere at the moment, I was ready to walk out last night but in the end only went out for 1hr.. felt so guilty leaving Julia behind.

Maz.. yeh he use to talk his head off to us and then kinda stopped for a while, now he squeels or screams (he's doing it now). Either that or blows raspberries.. which is rather cute.
Jesse's always been a light sleeper. Any little sudden noise will wake him or make him jump. I have to wait till DH is home so he can look after him while i vaccume.
Oow.. imagine if you gave birth on their wedding day.. hmmm. OMG 2 years old! I still cant imagine Jess walking let alone being 2 years old!!

Helen.. thats great Eithan is getting mor emobile. Jesse does the same withhis dummy. He'll pull it out and look at it amazed then talk to it.. then stick his thumb in his mouth.

Yeh the Elmo is great.. Jesse still absolutely loves it.. was a good buy. I had it set to 6am being the time Jesse wakes up (Elmo says Time to Wake up Jesse) and then Jess has been sleeping until 6.30am so its been waking me up and not him! Lol.. but have changed it now to 7am.

Shellbell.. oh really.. ah well, he has his own computer so if he stuffs it up then thats his problem. I just dont understand how he cant get bored of it!

No she didnt fall out but millana tries to catapult her out of it at times.Maybe she does think she is helping but i just about have a fit when she does it.
Well its just taken me over an hr to get ruby to sleep and i rocked her in the pram.She has not slept all day until now at 130pm.And yes maz,they are starting to wake up more easy.Maybe they are more aware of their surroundinggs now.Just had a read of pinky's book sleep like a baby before i cry from fustration.
Cant wait for the parcel maz,how wonderful.Your such a gem! and lifesaver.

Ash did wake up at 10 this morn but been out of whack and has hardly slept but is so overtired that she screams for an hour then sleeps for 25mins!
caddie maybe we should put Ash and Ruby together and let them get each other to sleep!

*Belle*- :hugs: Don't feel guilty bout going out for the hour. Julia will do better with a mummy thats gone out to try clear her head. Maybe you should try get out just you without Julia as a regular thing, just to get some "you" time. Is there any support group or something that your husband can go to to better understand about PND and panic attacks so he can cope better and be able to be more supportive? Hope today is looking alot brighter for you.

Nelle- Wow sleep in til 2! I totally forget what thats like, I don't think my Df would cope alone with Ash til 2!

maz- Ash is a much lighter sleeper too. I remember at the start how I could just chat bang around do whatever with her in the same room and now we have to tiptoe around a bit more, spec now that she sleeps so badly and hard to settle in the day.

Helen.p- Glad to hear things are going well with Eithan esp with his neck and everything. Its cute to hear how well him and Bella get along.

Df is still ****ing me off, not talking to him at moment cause he is going out drinking again tonight! Plus today i told him he can give me a break and do all the usual stuff with Ash including settling her for a sleep well as soon as she starts screaming he wants me to take her so he can have a nap! I told him to go "f" himself.

Shellbell.. Jesses doing the same today.. though he woke at 6am as usual... but screams and squeels for an hour then sleeps for 25 mins.
Oh id love if DH did that too.. he wouldnt know where to start with Jesse! Though he does take him when i need some time off which is great, but if he was to go a whole day, i dont think he could do it.

Oh no, my boobs weren't sore, cos Rans brought him in for feeds then I went back to sleep!

It IS quiet in here today hey, we must all be off having lives, lol! :lol:
I had church this morning, a bbq at my place and then a youth leaders meeting, and they've all just left, Rans included, he was bike riding with mates this arvo, he popped in, and now he's left for a band rehearsal! It always feels wierd when the house goes from full to empty really quickly! All good fun though.

Ooh tennis finals on tonight, that'll be fun! Might cosy up with a milo and a block of chocolate (not recommended for you weight watchers people!! lol...probably not recommended for anyone really. :D). Maybe I'll go for a walk tomorrow to make myself feel better about my gluttony!

we had a lovely day girls... celebrated ainsleigh's christening. was really nice, as we had lunch inside in the air con away from the heat, then the folks left and all the mums, dads and kids hit the pool. anna's cake deco's were a huge success (although my little god daughter did not want the chocolate cake, she wanted the fairy cake and she would not believe us that they were the same!!) everyone just left, sam is watching tele and i'm catching up in here then think we'll have leftovers and a movie in bed. oh yeah, and the little baby girl is so exhausted that she's been crashed out for two hours.... wonder what time she'll arise!

also forgot to mention that i have decided to go back to work in the office two days a week... .so we start daycare orientation this week! just a little fill in job till we start ttc towards the end of the year :)

Wow we have been quiet, I expected after not being on since yesterday to have heaps posts to catch up on!

My parents came over this morning for couple hours then my sister and nephew came over in the arvo so had a very nice plus busy day.

Been busy scrapping when i can otherwise with Jess.. he's being very tempremental lately.. cant put him on the floor or he'll roll over and whinge cos he's stuck, then whinges when i roll him back over.. he'll sit in his bouncer for about 5-10mins before getting bored and start whinging.. or he'll do the same on his fold out lounge.. It seems i have to be constantly entertaining him somehow otherwise he gets bored and either started whinging or squeeling at the top of his voice non stop!

Well my brains are fried as well as the kids.40 degrees 3 days in a row and no aircon in this house.We are all sticky and sweaty and it was too hot to even go outside.I and hubby went for a drive in the car this arvo just for aircon in car.Plus i went to my fav secondhand/new baby shop in dalkeith for 2nd hand pram but all sold.Need a smaller one for my car.Though still undecided as what to do.Double stroller? pram for ruby and millana can walk? Im still keeping my valco but its a pain to take toddler seat off everytime i want to put it in the car.My new car has been scratched when trying to put it in!!!
Okay gonna have ww icecream and lie down as sweat is pooling behind my knees!!!

It has been quiet in here, didn't take me long to read through 2 days worth.
It's been full on here with Nina, she has conjunctivitis and a tooth is starting to come through! Finally!!! It's up the top, Heath felt it this afternoon. She's been really unsettled with her eyes, screaming the house down in the middle of the night, poor little bubba.
Thank gawd I had Mum, Dad and Heath here on the weekend to help out. I managed to get a few loads of washing done, the floors vaccumed and mopped, the groceries done, and some house hunting, all on about 4 hours sleep a night! Don't know how I'm doing it, just am. Tonight she's been pretty good so far. Went to bed at 6, woke up at 9.30 for a feed, then back to sleep. I've been putting breast milk in and around her eyes and giving her some panadol to ease the pain.
Not much else happening, going to bed now. Fingers crossed she'll be better in the morning.
If I'm MIA this week, you know why!

Belle - How was today, so sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday. Try not to feel bad about leaving Julia for a bit... we all need to sometimes, and to be honest, I think it does us good.

Maz - Xander is doing the whole super easy to wake up thing to. It is driving me nuts as he wakes at every little sound; and also wakes the second he gets put into the cot so he is still taking ages to settle. No baby tango yet, too hot around here for any of that.

Not much to report around here, we spent most of yesterday and today in the spa (and watching cricket) and just veging out. We've got the most awesome lightening storm happening right now, it is so beautiful... actually this is my all time favourite weather (hot, humid and stormy) ahhh, I should live in the tropics me thinks. Off to go outside under the patio and watch natures skyshow for a while before heading off to bed.

Jodi - Poor little Nina.. go the booby milk in the eye, it worked great for Xander! and yay!!! for the toothy peg.

As for the chocolate, I ate 4 rows of dove and then felt guilty watching the fit tennis players on tv and felt somewhat guilty. So I put it away and sat on the floor stretching for the match (stretching makes me feel fit :lol:). I'm really going to miss the tennis!
2005 was my favourite though (I have a crush on Marat Safin, shhhh don't tell him!)

caddie i have just bought a second hand stroler for the car for caitlyn as my other pram is so awkward to get in and out of the car, and is also huge, i got mine of ebay for $20 nearly new, its great good luck with trying to find one.

good news ... it's all gone!!!! the booby juice must have done the trick. She woke twice last night, for feeds, then woke up at 6.30. So that's 12 hours. The toothy peg is coming ... not quite there yet.
We're back to normal I hope.

anna** - we had a storm here too. We've had rain here non-stop since Thursday, but other parts of Cairns has only had a bit of rain here and there.

nelle - I ate half a block of chocolate while watching the tennis too. naughty naughty!! I told Heath I'm going next year to the finals. I love it. So You Think You Can Dance is a show that makes me feel guilty about sitting there unfit. Whenever I'm watching it, I'll either do some strectches too, or hop on the bike, which is in front of the tellie (convenient huh)

caddie - I've got a second stroller which is heaps smaller for the car. I got mine for $80 at Toys R Us a little while a go, and now never use the pram.

Welll Nina has just s**t her pants while siting on my lap ... better go and change her!!

Dont know.. Hows Millana with that? Oh no aircon, you poor things! It gets damn hot here, i dont know what id do without it.. sometimes i ever just go to the shops its alot nicer there.

Jodi... thats great with Nina's tooth!! Still no sign of Jesse's. Aww poor lil thing. I think Jesse only had sticky eye but i just washed it out with a clean washer each time it looked gluggy.. but breastmilk is probably even better.. i didnt have that unfort to try. He has always had a teary eye too.. like he'll get a tear out if it every now and then and not be crying.

Anna**.. yeh theres some in the Gallery section.. havent put the latest ones up yet but theres a few there. I love it when its stormy.. doesnt look like its on the way here anytime soon.

Chrissy.. go for the B*tch! Mine peed me off the night before last.. I was trying to cook dinner.. Jesse was having a biatch, Dh was playing his damn Warcraft game... so i was like ehhh.. HELLLO?? So he took Jesse and sat him on his lap while he played.. and Jesse continued to whinge.. i was like bloody hell leave the game alone for 5 minutes youve been playing it all damn day!!! So i went and got Jesse and was holding him and cooking dinner at the same time.. he was like ill take him.. i said and youll sit there and just let him whinge and cry on you lap.. which if you let him like that at night it takes him forever to settle down and go to sleep.. so he takes him and sits down playing his game and puts Jesse on his lap.. and yes he starts *****ing again... ahhhh drove me bonkers! I really want to go and throw that game out the window but its online and the computers too damn heavy... drives me nuts.. stupid Warcraft!!!!!!

hey girls,

had a bad night saturday night i had both kids up and down like a yoyo and then when i just get them to sleep simon starts sleep walking and banging into everything so i had to get up and take him back to bed lol. as i was in the lounge with both kids so we didnt wake him so i could sleep the day away lol. i slept till 11am sunday wish he didnt have to go to work today. but ahh well i should get my car back to day just waiting on a call to say when it is ready.

belle - oh honey hope you felt better after you left. i think jeffery needs to go to a group where they learn how to cope with people and there panic attacks i had to go to one with simon so i could learn what causes them and how to help them out when they are having one.

chrisssy- when do you do a test to see if you got a BFP??? lets hope you are so you dont have to bonk you brains out so much lol.

Adele- my sister used to sleep walk all the time, got scary though cause she used to start screaming and running around, I always used to wake with such a fright.

Kellxx- I hate when they leave them to winge, I can't stand hearing them winge but Df doesn't seem as bothered by it. next time just take Jesse and tell him to fix his own dinner!

Jodi- Yay, glad to hear Nina is much better, that booby juice is such a wonder juice, good for everything. Ash had a rash on her face and I thought why not rub booby juice in at each feed and its really cleared it up.

chrissy- Fingers crossed for you, had a peek at your chart, only little drop there in temp. You been doing it exact same time each morning? Doing it straight away on waking?

Anna**- Yuck can't think of anything worse than humid weather, we had alot here last week or might've been week before and I just can't handle humidity, makes everything feel so much hotter.

caddie- It sucks no air con, i hate not having. We're buying a house later this year so next summer we should have it.

shellbell - i get simon trying to cook things sometimes so i have to be a very lite sleeper with him around lol. hahah at your sister my brother is like that and so is akira she will do 20 laps of the house then lay down again like nothing ever happened.

well the insurance company just rang me and they said my car is ready but i cant get down there till this arvo to get it which is cool i can get everything ready for when i can leave the house lol.

Kell, can you sit down with your dh and see if you guys can't sort something out about his Warcraft addiction? Like, there's an hour where you don't bother him at all and he can play it without distraction, but then after that, if you need help he has to leave the game for awhile? Rans is getting better like that, he checks that I won't need any help before he goes to play drums or whatever.

With the whole pram thing, I got a Phil & Teds (we call it the Bill & Teds, as in Bill & Ted's excellent adventure) for that reason, cos it sits two kiddies in it really well and you can even sit one and lay a newie in there too. Score! (And it's a sexy pram too)

Jodi, that's great mate that the manky eye's cleared up! Just still keep it clean, Riv's came back every now and then!

Well, it's cloudy here, which is a bit of a poop. Then again, maybe that means it'll rain and I won't have to water my garden!! (my garden is mostly potplants, lol)
I'm just waiting for Riv to fall asleep, he's having a small grizzle at his hanging toys, so not long I imagine, then I'll scoot and shower! Seems late I know, but he didn't wake til 10:30 :D Though he did wake up at 3 SCREAMING, almost wet myself, but Rans (bless him) got up to him, wouldn't let me feed him (I got upset at him about that), but then Rans gave Riv some bonjela and he settled pretty quick after that.

caddie you can get a stroller that lays down pretty cheep at target you should have a look. kmart are good for them as well.

Ahh, had a nice morn with Ash then she turns around and screams for an hour at nap time. I've been trying to catch on early to her tired signs to avoid this but who knows. If it was just grizzling wouldn't be so bad but she gets herself so worked up she just screams, god knows what the neighbours think! I end up in tears and stressed whenever this happens. Relaxing now though, made some lunch (left over chinese!)

Adele- I have to get used to no car now. We share one and Df been on holidays went back today so feel lost! although if i do need it he will get tram to work for me.

shell- i couldnt cope with that simon catches the bus into town to go to work everyday as its cheaper in away fro parking but i make up for that in petrol lol. hope ash sleeps better and stop screaming when it time to go to sleep.
