Oh no poor Rikki and Ainsleigh, what a worry they're not having a very good run of it, wishing Ainsleigh speedy recovery.
Ness- Hows Teleah doing? I used to always get those 24 hour tummy bugs as a kid. I remember one time I chucked in my bed then hopped into mums while she was changing my sheets and missed the bucket and chucked in hers!
AnnaT- My xray vision can see 6 babies in there.
Ellie- I'd want to piff him out, like AnnaT said you really don't need someone irresponsible round your kids, especially if he goes out drinking alot, you don't want him stumbling in late at night.
Nelle- Ahh lucky you cleared that all up for us. I like the point you made too bout getting important things back into your day, i think I should start that, just spending quality time with Df at the end of the day instaed of just plonking ourselves in front of TV.
Meg- I keep planning to watch it but forget, I think cause I'm usual watching little house (on foxtel)
Well we've been to Dr about Ash's rash, it started awhile back but was mild and the dissapeared but in last few days its really flared up so I've gotta get some cream from chemist when it stops raining and cut out the small amount dairy she is having and cut out apricots and see how she goes then slowly re-introduce to see if one of those were the causes.
ETA: Meg- I just read your post. How scary! How is his temp today? Thank god your hubby is a paramedic. Does he appear alot better?

Thats scary meg? Are you taking him to the drs for a check? Any reason for a temp that high to cause a fit?

Thank-you for you replies I think I might have to kick him out. His mum lets him run free so don't think she would really care, he packed up from melbourne and moved up here to start fresh so we're "trying" to help him. Knowing DP he will wanna have a talk to him first about and it and see if he stops.
Nessa - I hope Teleah gets better sounds like a bit of gastro. Gastrolyte icy poles are great I'd recommend them as well.
I'm having issues with Paige today, she is really clinging and whingy. Right now she is sooking in her cot. Every time I put her down she starts screaming at me. I gave her bonjela in case it's her toothies but i guess it wasn't she's still going. She won't take a bottle tried a few times and I can tell she tired just being a sook. It's soo frustrating when she is like this and there is nothing I can do. I can't hold her all day it doesn't work.
WHAT DO I DO???

Ellie.. yeh id tell him that you dont want that sort stuff in the house or him being drunk... you have 2 kids to consider here... and he need to pay his board.. who cares where he gets it as long as you get it. Think you need to make a few ground rules.

Well.. no real news for us.. Jess has been really good up here at mum and dads. My sister gave me a heap of girls clothes so our girl theory better work!! It did for her!!

ellie - it could be her teeth. Nina has been like that all week, and finally is herself today. Just keep persisting with the teething relief, bonjella or panadol. Nina also went off her bottle for a bit, would only have 100ml here and there. Keep an eye on her nappies though, make sure she's at least drinking water.
rikki - big hugs to you sweetie :grouphug: I hope she recovers quickly. Anna**, can you keep us updated, if you can.
meg - how is he today? did you decide to take him to the dr or is hubby keeping an eye on him? I hope you get some rest today.

Ellie.. yeh maybe its just teething. Jess did that last tooth.. the whole day he was like that before it popped up. Have you tried giving her any panadol? I found that the best thing for teething.

I've run out of panadol:( So I have o wait till DP gets home. No transport here without him. She's happy at the moment I gave her socks. She has a fascination with socks I think it's like a comfort thing because she always has a sock in her hand even when sleeping. I have to give her a new one everyday so she's got a clean on to carry around.

Hubby keeping an eye on him today. He thinks its a upper chest infection, as I also have a cold. That and he is teething. (2 through, but drooling +++)
Seems fime now. Temp normal, eaten his lunch etc. Laughing and happy......

As for how im feeling - thanks for asking me girlies. $hit is my answer. If I dont feel like spewing its my butt thats going. Vy's been screaming whenever I leave her alone now. I managed to mop my floors for the first time in 3 weeks this morning (inbetween 2 oo breaks). Ive been very tired and bloated but happy at the same time. I just hope the others of you that are wanting to TTC get your wishes and dreams filled soon. YOu know who you are and ive got everything crossed that it will happen for you guys.

My doctor rings me at 7 last night (Yes really) and says that he cant give me a referal for the anntenatal clinic at the hospital until I have a u/s to confirm that I am pg and that my HGC levels are not from my last pg that i m/c in March. Im like but the numbers are totally different.the stupid arse!..I told him im not changing my u/s from the 6th of June for nothing. So looks like I have to wait for my referal till then. Cant wait either cause then I'll know for sure when IM due

Jodi- Now its official, Congrats! How exciting there is 3 of you due together. Wow at Nina growing out of 0's, Ash has just recently gone into them. I had to laugh at you with your preggy brain and the whole KK thing.
Maz- Nice mammoth post from you. I hope that gastro passes soon, how many tilet stops did you need doing that post? Not too much longer til your u/s then you can show us pics at our meet-up. With Ash's rash the Dr just thinks its food related as she can't find anything else different to put it down to.
Ellie- Could be teeth, with Ash's first tooth she went thru 2-3 days of screaming at nap time and just being unsettled then next day I felt a tooth thru, sometimes I think the bonjella doesn't do all that much, i tried it a couple times on my wisdom tooth pain and it made no difference.
Kell- Her rash is all over her chest/ tummy and legs. It started off just little bit on tummy and that went away and then came back and started spreading. Hope your girl theory works, just remember you have a 50/ 50 chance otherwise! Lol.
caddie- She's not on formula but the last couple weeks I've been using bout 1 tablespoon cows milk in her cereal so we wondering if its that. Her washing detergent and bath stuff been the same things for months. Oh and those boxes look fantastic, your friend will love them, its a great gift idea that I'll have to keep in mind.
God its been pouring down here, luckily I had an early Dr's appt, don't have car today so stuck inside now. Just waiting to get to the chemist.
Oh and I forgot to say Ash went from 11:15 to 5am last night yay, so hopefully she is starting to realise she doesn't need that 2am wake-up, although I might start waking her at 10:30 for a feed if she doesn't wake herself, 11:15 is a b!tch of a time cause I've just gone off to sleep.

shell - can I just make a quick suggestion, how about seeing how she goes on her own for a few nights before you try the dream feed. She may be starting to go longer periods on her own, and given some time, may cut out all night feeds. Or may not ?? Just a thought anyway. Let us know how you go. I hope her rash clears up, is the dr worried about it?

Ok, update from Rikki about Ainsleigh... she's seen the doctor, staying one more night. Starting asthma treatment steriods and ventolin thru spacer puffer.

Shell - She's got her first tooth which was as you described about 2-3 days of sooking then it came up. It's like stuck half way but i don't know it's been half way up for like 2 weeks. I can't see anymore popping up hope they are can't wait for the toothy grins.

Jodi- I did consider that but as she has her last feed at 7pm I doubt at this stage she would go thru til the morning and I'd prolly have to get up to her in the middle of the night, at least if I feed her at 10:30 I can get in a good block of sleep myself before she wakes again.
Vic girls- I looked up healesville santuary, its $22 adults and $11 for kids over 4 so could end up bit costly, esp for you Maz! Should we meet somewhere else? I also thought about the possibility of bad weather seeing as it will be winter, should we try think of somewhere that is all seasons?

Well River's breaking my heart, Rans is holding him, while he cries on and off...I really hope this tooth breaks through really soon. Rans is great at cheering him up though, and I'd kinda had enough writhing and whinging. Nice to have Rans to give me a break.

Ugh just did the groceries with J and now I am farked. I could sleep for days. He was a bit of pain for the first time ever today, I think because Ry woke us both up at 7am this morning. He went to bed at 8pm, woke at 12am, again at 3 and was still snoozing til 7am. Not great but ok. Ive put a little Farex in his bedtime bottle to see if that makes a difference, maybe he's hungry and thats why he wakes.
I looked for maternity pants while I was out but didnt find anything interesting. I need to go have a look when J isnt with me so I can try some on. The Maternity store had some Yummy Mummy brand jeans with cool embroidered designs on them for $30! A size 8 or 10. Couldnt try it on and didnt want to buy the size 8 with wishful thinking or size 10 and them be too big. Im going to need some soon though, Im already wandering around with my pants undone :cryinglaugh:
I found the scrapbook frames at KMart! I bought one with a few different nic nacs to make it pretty with. Going to have a crack at it tonight after monster goes to bed.

shellbell - too bad about healesville ..i didnt know it was that expensive damn!!! my have prices gone up drastically!!
theres a place called emerald lake in the same sorta direction as healesville and its not expensive to get it..they have nice picnic and bbq areas too but being winter i think it might actually be best to go somewhere winter friendly... how many of us are there??

can you tell we love camo!!! hahah well hubby does mostly lol so we had a mummy and savanna dress the same day at mothers group last week. all the other mothers loved it and wanted to do the same with their babies. my mum used to always dress me the same as her cause she used to get her dresses stitched and would use the same material for me too. i think its cute!!!

Paige is in 00 and 0. although there are a couple of size one items that she has been wearing and they seem to fit perfectly. Scary. Paige has started her sooking again. She has big bags under her eyes but won't sleep, poor baby. I think I've posted enough for today, lol.

I've just posted this in another thread, please feel free to offer ANY advice at all ...
Since last Friday, Nina has been extremely unsettled. I believe most of it is due to teething as we can see the shape of 4 teeth coming through on her top gum, and she is chewing like mad on each side of her gums. But I'm thinking that it's also behavioural.
We have a bedtime ritual which we follow each night, and before last Friday, by 6.30pm she'd be in bed sound asleep and would either sleep through for 10-12 hours, or wake once, maybe twice in that period. But lately, we're lucky if she does go down at 6.30pm without screaming the house down, or she'll go to sleep for 2 or 3 hours, then wake up and scream the house down. When she wakes, we try various things, pain relief, bonjella, water, nappy, even more milk, but nothing is helping. She gets absolutely hysterical if we leave her, and both DH and I aren't willing to try controlled crying at this stage as a) we don't know a great deal about it, and b) she gets too upset, to the point of vomiting if left for a long period.
I've tried bringing her into our room, which doesn't even work. 2 nights ago she finally went to sleep at 11.30pm, only due to exhaustion, and last night slept for 14+ hours without stiring, probably due to exhaustion again.
During the day isn't much better either, she's very clingy with me, screams if I dare put her down. She's been a very independent baby up until now, and would always be happy to play on her own, lately I have to be physically holding her while playing.
Can anyone make any suggestions on what may be going on, and what I can do/try ??

he told me about an accident that was on the news a male and female died when the lotus eprit they were in got wrapped around a pole! i went to school with the two people. The female was in my year level and we were all friends. its so sad to hear such tragic news :cry:

Ambz that is sad mate.I had a friend too that died and it had a big impact on alot of my school friends and myself. Hope you are ok and yes prayrs for their families.
Jodi,it could be teeth or maybe shes just more aware of whats going on and what consequences are when she does things.Maybe shes frightened? I would perservere with routine,give her comfort and love.I find reassurance a good thing.But if it doesnt go away maybe a gp could check her out?
