Hi everyone
Not too much to report except one thing.NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT A CHANGE OF CLOTHING FOR YOUR KIDS!! silly me decided we will all go to kings park about 40min drive north from our home.Just as we pull up to go to the park ruby spews all over her clothes.Twice mega spews.I then had to drive to subiaco markets and look for a change of clothing.Poor ruby was wrapped in millanas big jacket to keep warm. She looked homeless and the only outfit was not vey attractive jumpsuit like a jailbirds. We then went back to the park and had a walk in the fresh air,let millana have a play and come home.
Millana has been a total turd. She just wont listen. She has been wetting herself, getting up at all hrs of the night and driving me insane.I went and bought her $200 worth of new warm bedding as hubby said she felt cold the other night but last night i had to lie with her twice to get her to sleep.
So a little bit exasperated and overwhelmed and hoping the next day or the next will bring a better change.
So please ness sing away and cheer us up with your sillyness.

Thanks Ness, I love that song but could never remember words after the mush bit.
Grr at Dh, is he really sick or more just that male kind of sickness where they think they are dying? I get ****ed too when I don't get my one sleep in day, we always have to soldier on.
Caddie- Sorry but I had to have a giggle at your story with the whole park and vomit incident. Hopefully Millana settles a bit, in a couple years when Ash gets to that age I will understand what you and Ness are going thru.
Anna**- She still plays around with finger food, she is always putting everything else into her mouth yet finger food she'll play and throw!
So whats everyones plans for today, none for me just a day inside, do exciting things like dishes and washing.

Hello all,
My DH is off dirtbike riding today. He spent all yesterday servicing his bike. You think after being gone for 8 days (He works away from home 8 days at a time - I really commend any single parents. It's tough by yourself) he would want to spend some time with James, but no - bike riding is more important. And no doublt he will come back with some type of injury. You think he would have learnt after spending three months in a neck brace with a C4 fracture, and being airlifted out of a state forest. (James was 5 weeks old)
Anyway that's just me having a whinge. I promise not to whinge any more.
Thanks everyone for the advice on weaning. So far I have not had that much success with the cup, but early days. Every time I put it near him, he pushes it away.
Ambz - I hadn't though of asparigus. I will give it a try with James.
Caddie- I also had a little giggle about your story in the part. Poor little bubby!!!
-
Oh, I forgot. Is a magmag cup made by a centrain company, as I have not been able to find one!!
-
meg - mag mag is made by pigeon i believethey are not sold in every coles and safeway store but baby bunting and babyco stock them.
-
meg - my man is dirtbike racing too today!! We can be single mummies together
-
Meg - Like Ambz said, magmag is made by Pigeon. Many chemists sell them, tho keep an eye out as the price varies HEAPS. I bought mine for $9 each, but I've seen them for $15.
Ambz - Thanks for the prayers hon for a bubba. I seem to remember that apparently one has to have sex to fall pregnant (ahhhh.. we all know what you've been doing now  ) and there aint any of that happening around here.
Nessa - Glad you liked the anti-eew idea, lets' hope it works. At least if you use some calming essential oils (maybe look for a 'baby-sleep' blend) it might make her relax a bit.
I'm off hooning today on my new bike! I can't believe I still haven't ridden it yet... as it's been so long I'm kinda a bit nervous about riding again which is totally dumb as I used to be good enough to race. Wish me luck that I don't bin the bl**dy thing on the first bend.
-
have fun anna! :happyforyou:
btw - love that pic of Xander in your sig, so cute!
meg - like Anna said, price does vary. They're anywhere from $10-$13 here. I usually get mine from the chemist.
Heath had a major bike accident about 11 years ago, was off work for 11 months, but do you think that stops him from learning...
Nina's having a nice long sleep today, 3.5 hours so far, I'm suppose to be taking Heath his lunch and watching him race... waiting....still waiting!!
-
Meg - I've had a couple of accidents over the years on the bike, and I still want to ride. I think it (bike riding) gets 'in your blood'
-
CR@P I dont get on for a day and VOOMMMMMM you guys are quicker than the bike that Anna just got!!!!
My neck makes me feel like a hunch back, Jed says it the 'right possy' for hmmmmmming!!! Dirty boy!
IM over tired and feel like spewing everywere but hey, thems the breaks....PMSL Just hope its over Jed when he's being filthy
Caddie - big hugs for ya babe...your scrapping is superb too.
My little elephant is now 9 months and STILL HAS NO TEETH! Its drving us nuts cause she's been screaming the house down and is the most grumpiest little turd!!!
Can I trade her in on a newer model now?????? ROFL
BBL and OH I have a secret hehehehehehhe
-
dont worry maz caitlyn has 8 teeth.........but does not even crawl or attempt to, and the $hit just screams cause she wants to get around and she cant......what the secret.
One very jealous girl here anna......enjoy your ride mate......
little biartch has now decided 3am is wake up time, and of cause she is no daytime sleeper, so im lucky if she has 20minutes once a day.........drives me insane!! and craig does night shift, so its like im a single mum at the moment.
must be the weekend for bikes, craig is putting his back together as we speak
Can someone please stop me buying MCN......its very addictive
better go have to wax my chin..........mmmmmmm the joys of getting old, i feel like i have a goaty growing
-
Oh not more secrets!!!
Come on Maz, spill the beans.
Ambz- Where in Brighton do you work?
-
I went over to baby Bunting and managed to find a cup. It was $12.95, but I checked out my local chemist and they didnt have it. Nor did Coles and Safeway so I figured it was my only option. I bet I find it much cheaper somewhere else now tho
DH just called, and he hasn't injured himself this time, and is on his way home.
Jodi - lucky duck getting Nina to have a 3.5 hr sleep. What's the trick to that?
Chrissy 20 mins a day - you poor thing. Although James only does about 1 hour in a day, and spends a lot of time lying in his cot "singing" so I s'pose I still get a fairly good break.
-
maz - spill woman!! Hope those teeth come down soon for Vy, she'll probably end up with 6 all at once
caddie - dunno how I missed your post earlier :wall: Hope Ruby isn't coming down with something (or is she getting over it?) do you think it's just a phase Milanna is going through?
nessa - how'd your day pan out, bummer you didn't get a sleep in?
meg - hope he's not too injured. Heath flipped his bike in practice today and it landed on him. He has tire track marks on his back
the trick to Nina sleeping so much is .... no idea?!?!? Would you believe it, but she's gone back to sleep now! Must the crawling and trying to walk phase she's going through.
-
Jodi - poor hubby, but like I said to my DH, it is self inflicted pain. Maybe when james actually takes an interest in crawling he might like more zzzzz. At the moment he is not showing the least bit of interest in crawling!
-
Well I seriously dunno what I was worried about with riding, I loved it. I feel so exhilerated now after the ride. It was just what I needed to make me remember what I was like pre-mummy!
Jodi - Poor Heath! I've done that before (so easy to do on a dirt bike) it hurts... but the ego hurts more ;-)

Nessa.. hey chick im here.. just laying low lately as it feels like im talking to myself most of the time. How's Teleah and the eews? MIL drove me insane today.. firstly she gets Jesse and carries him around everywhere.. then goes into the computer room and puts him on the floor (where theres cables and a million and one things for him to get) while she sits at the computer. So i picked him up and walked him out to see grandpa who is cooking in the kitchen. We sit down and chat to grandpa. She comes out and says i didnt know you were going to take him, i wouldnt have put him down otherwise. (!!!). anyways so she grabs him off me. Then goes come on jesse lets go outside. Where she does something to scare him and he cries! She then brings him back in and gives him to Grahame who gives him to me. So we sit again with Grandpa and talk to him. Grandpa gets some nice cuddles (he loves grandpa).. and then she comes and takes him off grandpa!! Like FFS, let Jesse have some time with him grandpa you stupid old witch. Anyways.. so then any time i am holding Jesse she comes and takes him off me. Then some friends came over and she took him out and made a fuss and he got scared and cried. So she gives him to me and he settles and is happy again inside playing with Grandpa so she grabs him again and takes him outside and he starts crying again! OMG i was so ropable!!!!! And Grahame said to me last month when we thought i may have been pregnant, maybe we could move back in with his parents.. YEH RIGHT!!
