after much thought i have decided not to go.......its just not right
* its not fair on him to come out of hospital, and me going away with the kids to qld
* he will not be working for a while, so no money coming in, so it wouldnt be right for me to spend the money i have for a holiday, i need to but food and pay the bills.

hi girls,
chrissy... don't know what to say. huge hugs to you, and prayers that craig will make a speedy recovery. I think you have made the right decision not to go on your holiday, could you perhaps just postpone it until craig gets back on his feet.
i think what you are going thru is everyone's worst nightmare, something happening to a loved one after a fight. makes you realise how precious life is. hope you and craig can both have some healing time together over the next few weeks.
news from us.... ainsleigh is sick AGAIN. it truly feels never ending. at least this time we have managed to keep her well enough that she has not needed to go to hospital. don't know how we are going to cope when I go back to work next term and she goes to daycare two days a week. i really enjoyed and appreciated having sam home this time. i needed the break so much, and loved the two days of work that i did. i did not miss Ainsleigh at all, i thought of her often, but knew she was safe and i was loving being back in my work environment. it was high school deaf that i was teaching, and for many of the kids i had been their first teacher when they were in preprimary (Deaf Education is a small world).
Ainsleigh is going great guns. Her sleep has settled down, but now she has learnt to pull up and cruise along furniture and so stands up in her cot walking up and down (and therefore NOT SLEEPING!!) grrr. it's always one thing or another. she is also crawling properly now, rather than just commando, but only when she has no pants on! (does not like the cold tiles on her belly).
Hello to everyone, thanks to those who have been thinking about us and asked after us. (i have been lurking a bit lately) and thanks for the chat and coffee anna**. Sorry this post was all about us (and Chrissy, cos I've been thinking of you all morning..... can't sleep). Hope your pg's are going well annat, maz and ambz. only two weeks till i am going to be an auntie for the first time! (well, apart from DH's side!)

chrissy as I said on MSN, my thoughts are with you honey...I hope he is ok and recovers well.

Wow chrissy, that is a terrible time for you all.I agree with your decision totally mate.I hope you can get through this tough time and sort it all out.Keep us posted and we are here for you to chat and vent.
Rikki, gee no luck with this sickness!! It just keeps bouncing back! Is it the asthma that causes her to be more sick frequently? I know my hubby as a baby had asthma and was always in and out of hospital. He doesnt have it now though. So far my kids have been blessed with no asthma.
Anna you will have to come for a bike ride down this way!! Free coffee and loo stop!! Ok company to talk too.lol.
Not much here, just taking millana to drs tommorow for her rash. She also keeps wetting herself and refusing the potty.Just dont know weather to put her back in pullups or keep changing her 10 times a day.

Chrissy - I am sorry to hear that! I am praying that Craig has a smooth recovery and that you have lots of support to help you through this time. Dont feel guilty ok, heart attacks happen and it had nothing to do with you or the fight (more like incompetent Drs misdiagnosing an ulcer).
Sorry I havent been around, Im really a pitiful mess right now. Im lucky if I can get out of bed most days. This weekend has been my best so far and thats probably because DH let me be super lazy and sleep most of it away. I feel so bad for Jett, Im really not good at being Mama right now :( I live for naptime and bedtime which makes me feel extremely guilty. Im hoping things start looking up in 3wks when I hit 12wks and can start to function normally again. I am never doing this again though, I shall be thankful I have two beautiful miracles and spend the rest of the years focusing on them. Pregnancy does not agree with me at all.
I hope everyone is doing well.

:hugs:OMG Chrissy, what a terrible time atm for you. I dont know the background of things, but I think that you are doing the right thing. I cant imagine how hard things are for you and your family so sending huge hugs to you. I hope that Craig has a speedy recovery. I cant believe the dr's with the ulcer thing. I am sorry I am not that good with words, so dont know what to say, but please know that I care and I and everyone else are here for you if you need an outlet to vent etc.
Rikki-Poor Ainsleigh being sick again. It must be exhausting for you all. Glad to hear that you enjoyed being back at work. Hope that Ainsleigh gets better real soon.
Another big news here Eithan is crawling!!! Not the normal crawling and not commando kind of a mix between. Looks kinda funny and he is still slow but I am still baby proofing.
Love

**** Chrissy- thats awful, I can't beleive too no one stopped to help him, I mean you never know who is gonna flag you down but I've always stopped just to make sure the person is alright. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery. As you said prolly best not to go away as he won't be able to do much for awhile, will just have to take things slowly.
Rikki- Soory to hear Ainsleigh is sick again, it must feel like it is never ending, I totally understand you need a break. So what got you into sign language? Did you have someone close to you that was deaf or just started learning? Its always been something I would love to learn just gotta get off my butt and do some classes.
AnnaT- Don't feel guilty, just rest up when you can, hopefully the 2nd trimester will treat you alot better.
Neesa- How is your friend going? Any improvements on his condition?
HelenP- yay on Eithan starting to crawl, all the fun starts now!
well we are a sorry bunch in here, hopefully everything starts looking up for everyone. Not much to report here, same old same old. Going out for coffee later, hope weather is okay so I can use my new pram.

-
Rach - Wow, a molar already? That's an early one!
Maz - How's that belly bump of yours going? I'll try and give you a call tomorrow and catch up.
Belle - Thanks for the quick chat today, sorry I kept loosing reception.
Caddie - You're Rockingham way aren't you? I will definately need a loo break by the time I get there  Will take you up on your offer one weekend when I can get Scott to watch Xander for a few hours.
AnnaT - You poor thing, sounds like you are having a terrible time right now. Hope it eases soon and you get some energy back.
Chrissy - I really dunno what to say, sending lots and lots of huge hugs of support your way. Hope everything gets sorted out for you. I must say tho, I'm pretty shocked that no one stopped for Craig!
Rikki - Is this that same cold that Ains was coming down with when we caught up or another one? Bloody hell, just one thing after another. Hope she bounces back quickly with no hospy trips. My girlfriend LOVED those t-shirts you made btw!
Nessa - How is your friend going - how long are they going to keep him in a coma?
Annie - Welcome back! You obviously had a great time if you forgot to do the postcards... I bet you bought heaps of baby clothes!
Helen - Yay on Eithan starting to crawl, Xander is only doing a weird commando but it seems to get him around.
Shell - What sort of pram did you get?
-
I can throw my mother in the mix BUT if you think your inlaws/parents are bad you havent met my mother and believe me you dont ever want to!
Fortunately for me I luuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeee my inlaws so sorry, Im keeping them lol Which reminds me, 2 weeks til theyre here *YAY*
ETA - Forgot to mention I weighed myself (Yes I know how brave of me!) today while I was out getting some odds and ends. Im still sitting on 60.3kgs and I am amazed. I thought for sure I would have gained atleast a kg or two by now even with the m/s. Im happy to sit at 60.3kgs until 3rd trimester so hopefully I wont end up gaining to much and I can lose it and then some afterwards. Made my day I tell ya!
-
hello Maz
Anna I know a darn molar but he has all 8 6-12mths and has had them since last one came thru 6th May, but there is a sharp bump and its all swollen :wall: not supposed to get them till 14mths :wall:
AnnaT great about weight, I put on 3kgs right uo till 2 weeks before Jack came and then 7kgs :wall:
-
 ive lost 3 kg already....... i dont loose to much this time. I tested my glucose blood count at mum and dads yesterday and it read at 5. IM going to keep a very close eye on it this time round. Ive been fainting a bit and getting a few black out...waiting for my next appointment. And do you guys remember waking up at stupid hours (like 4 am) and being able to go back to sleep....grrrrrr
Anna - I'll b ehome after lunch. Have a bank appointment in morning then taking borhter to hospital 30km's away, then drvie back to Shepparton to PIck Wilhelm up from school....:help:AHHHHHHHH all by 12pm. So will give you a call when my fat arse is back home. heheheh
-
Maz- thats a bit of a worry bout the blackouts, just be very careful when driving and things like that. Keep up fluids. thats good your glucose level is quite stable at the moment, I hope there is no probs this time round.
AnnaT- yay, I only put on 9kg all up with Ash, was great lost it quickly plus an extra 4kg.
Anna**- Its a car pram! Lol, it says on it limited edition Jeep cheroke or something similar to that.
Okay got bit annoyed today with one of the mums in my group, she pointed out twice that I am making Ash cold cause her pants are too short and explaining to me how I should assess what to dress her in! Its hard to get pants that fit her properly (she is skinny and long) but I had a blanket wrapped round her anyway and in the cafe it was hot. I do know how to dress my child. Once she couldv'e just mentioned but she didn't need to bring it up a second time.
-
Shell - just ask her - 'how many practical dressers marry rich handsome men? I'm creating a brighter future for my daughter'.
-
Ugh my child is choosing to NOT want to go to bed tonight but too bad too sad, he is tired and I am tired and its way past bedtime. He rarely gives us trouble but occasionally a monster takes his place and kicks and screams for 15min about going to sleep.
I dont know how people do it full time with babies who dont like to go to sleep.
Ah I hear silence....................

Hello all,
Another quick one from me. I havent had a chance to read all the posts, so no personals - sorry. Just got back from a weekend away to Woodend. (DH was w0rking)
Just another reminder to keeps those poisons out of reach. DH went out to a job where a 2 year old had drunk Metho. She managed to get herself intoxicated from it. So that's twice in the space of 2 weeks that DH has been out to children drinking stuff they are not meant to.
