HI Nelle,
I have been using one of those booger remover thingy's with James. It seem to help. I think it is called a Fes Little Noses. I suction his nose before feeds. ( i know this post sounds gross, but it does help!!!) :D

Hey girls,
Happy weekend.
No personals, sorry, hi to everyone and hope that your DH's/DP's are taking over some of the chores this weekend.
No such luck here, Rylee has been awake all day, just gone to bed now after some screaming, I feel like i am going nuts with DH away...but nothing outside of the norm I guess:wall:.
Have a good one!
Laurin :)
Oh! I've got one of those Meg! I used it when River was new, but it didn't occur to me to use it now. :doh. Thanks for the reminder!
No prob Nell - Hope it works. james has started to think that it is really funny. I think he likes the feeling that it makes on his nose, so he is letting me do it. (For today at least!!)
Laurin - Hope Rylee gives you a break.
hi ya girls
Just dropping in to say it was -3 here last night and yes froze me bb's off.
i'll try and get back later...been a flat out week. hope yourve all been well..
10 weeks today!!!!! yay for me!
Mauw all
yay Maz on 10 weeks!
I tried using that fess sucky snot remover thingy but Ash absolutely hatres it and screamed so in the end she was more snotty than when we began! So frustrating cause how do you explain to a baby you are doing it for their benefit!
Laurin when does you Dh get back? Hand him over Rylee and take time out for yourself when he gets home.
Maz - I love the tickers that show where the bub is at developmentally!!
Congrats on reaching 10 weeks maz!! Gee before you know it you will be having her.
Millana has a cold too so all night in bed with me of course all i could here was her snotty breathing.Drove me insane.
No movie as dh watched football.I passed out at 7pm but then he woke me up for a ph call after my friend deliberatly said not too if im asleep. He does those things deliberatley. The other day he woke me at 930 to tell me ruby was awake.Stupid arse couldnt see to her himself.Only does it if im out! What happens if i do get sick and i need my rest. Not goona happen me thinks. He just goes on life as normal and hasnt even bothered to ask if im worried about the procedure or anything.Just oh not having to eat 3 days prior to procedure only clear fluids his comment was" oh you might lose some weight" Real nice. Sometimes id love to walk out and leave him to himself for a few days but the kids i cant drag around. So oneday i will bide my time and it will be payback.
Caddie - boys can be so insensitive. DH would wake me too.
Caddie- big , I don't know what is wrong with men sometimes. I bet if it were other way around it would be totally different. Maybe one day you should get up, go out on your own and leave a note telling him he has the girls for the day! That'll show him.
Caddie - you need a baseball bat honey....then show aaron how you can swing it! Jed knows better, I threw my lamp at him once, stuffed it but Jed hasnt dared wake me again.
Shell - I cant use them snot things either, I just let it run at home (I know its sounds yuck) and use a warm face washer to wipe it away and loosen any thats stillup there.
Meg - I love these tickers to but would love to put apic up of my amigo's next to it.
Hello everyone else hope your all enjoying the little bit of sunshine today.
Jed and I have been looking at cars......we're still off 6 months but we like to look and get a feel for something before hand. We're thinking about getting a Kia carnival cause they have heaps of room in the back for the kids. Our ford explorer is just to small for them. FOund a realy nice one, 2005 model, with dvd and flip down screens...but it was a manual and the last thing I really want to do with kids in the back is worry about changing gears. it was only $17000 to... well can keep dreaming for now.
Better be of...going to a girls undercover wear party BY MYSELF!!!!!!! yay!!!!!
BBL
Hey all,
Chrissy - how is Craig's recovery going??
Maz - congrats on 10 weeks and also love the lamp throwing episode - that got the message across to Jed for sure!!
Caddie - yeah, if we did half the things to our DH'S/DP's that they do to us our lives wouldn't be worth living.
To all the mums with bubs who have a cold - do you ever use saline drops to loosen everything up there and then bubs can breathe easier - I used to use it all the time when Rylee was smaller and she would get a blocked nose all the time and couldn't feed properly.
Nessa - for some insane reason Rylee was really hungry during the night too....grrr..
Shell - DH is back thurs morn - the good thing is I am not missing his snoring or the way he messes up the house in 10 secs flat - nice not to be bothered cooking too .....missing him a little bit - ha ha.
Hi to Rikki, Belle, Helen, Kell, Meg, Annie, Anna**, AnnaT, Nelle, Rach, Jodi & Sharleen and all other lovely September Mums.
Laurin :)
Just a quick on to say hi.. and Nessa woo! on the win!
Have been burning all the videos we have of Jesse onto DVDs.. making the intro etc today.. will freezing my a$$ off!!!!!!!
Am off to meet a friend tomorrow.. so if i dont talk to yall before then, hope you have a good day.
Hi to all!
Ciao ciao
xx
I have borrowed a vapouriser from mum and have put it in James' room tonight. He doesn't seem to be breathing as loud atm, so hopefully it is helping.
Maz - I agree, I have let him be a lot snottier while at home. Poor bub tho - he woke up from a sleep with boogers everywhere!!!
Laurin - bet you are hanging for DH to come home, even if it is someone to handd bub to so you can have a break!
Kell - have fun out with your friend.
I will be AWOL for most of tomorrow. An elderly family friend passed away, so I am going to chilly Ballarat for the funeral. Hopefully James has his morning sleep in the car on the way, and doesn't be a cranky pants during the serivice.
Kell -
Hey girls... does anyone know at which point I need to get Xander seen to? I know gastro can be pretty yucko, but he still has the trots pretty badly and is not (IMO) drinking enough. I am having trouble counting how many wet nappies he is having as I am needing to change him before the nappy gets wet enough. At a guess, if he wasn't poo'ing, i honestly think he could use maybe 2-3 nappies in a 24 hour time frame. He is still alert and babbling, pulling to stand etc - though obviously very tired (but he isn't sleeping well either, even for him), his fontenelle is a little more sunken than usual. Other than that, I don't really know what to look for...
I'm posting this in the main area too
I have no idea Anna - $hit but if your worried take him to your doctor...your always spot on with your gut.
Anna**-I would take him to the dr anyway. The wet nappy thing doesnt sound the best and it is better to be safe. Some babies can be happy when they are sick, and you said that he has had trouble sleeping but is still really tired so it is obviously getting to him. A quick check-up at the dr's wouldnt hurt. I hope that he is feeling a bit better by the time you read this, let us know how he goes. Huge hugs for Xander.
Love
Yep i agree! Off to the drs just to be sure.
1 more sleep until my sis is here for 4 weeks!! So excited.Im going to go to mums and clean up abit and get some food staples for her.
Millana still got her snotty's so no swimming lessons for her.
Aarons work car is still having problems with the clutch. So fustrating.Keeps going in to be fixed and then sent back. The clutch keeps sticking to the floor which is rather dangerous.
Hope the funeral goes well and james doesnt get too grizzly.
Hiyall!! hope everyoine is ok except for colds and flus.
