hi girls,
chrissy, glad to hear that craig was sent home in time for your bday (happy bday for yesterday). hope that all the sick bubba's (including Ainsleigh) and non sleepers get better soon. did you get your results yet caddie? think we need a catch up soon (i know your sis is here at the moment, so enjoy your time with her then catch up with anna and me when she is gone!)
well, i'm off to bed (need an early one after dh's alarm went off at 4am!) but wanted to let you all know that i became an auntie on saturday morning. angus james, born at 5.06pm by emergency caesarean. both doing really well, coming home tomorrow. you should have seen ainsleigh cuddling her little cousin, looked like she was holding a doll!
-
well im officially an old biartch now 38 years old.......
thanks for all your well wishes didnt do anything, as craig is not well enough, i am now looking after 2 babies now, but one has pubes!!
and as for the hanky panky maz, well craig was detirmed to give me one for my birthday, but it doesnt usually work with a soft co**, but somehow it did!!.......his medication is affecting his erections ( maybe it might slow the old pr**k down!)
-
Morning..
Chrissy.. hahaha all i can say is, glad you had a great birthday! Hope Craig starts to pick up soon.. ah.. in more ways that one!
Hope all those sick bubs get better soon too.
Well, my Mr Jessman didnt do a poo all yesterday (he normally does 4!), for the first time since he was about 2 months old (not pooing each day). Then Medium was quite scarey last night so i made Grahame get out of bed and check all the doors were lock (hehe).. i then asked him just to check Jess is ok etc. So he did, and Jess had done the worst poo. It didnt leak or anything, thank goodness, but smelt VERY stinky and acidy. Poor baby. So i changed him, was a bit diarhhea like and had to cuddle for a while as he was a bit upset.. but he seems ok so far today. Will see as the day goes.
Have to clean today, mums group is at my house tomorrow...
Have a good day..
-
Yay, another good night, Ash slept thru til 5:30!
i am sick of this weather though I hate being stuck indoors all day and I know Ash gets sick of it too, just need it okay enough to go for a walk.
Nessa- Go lay all over the matresses and move about like you would at home in bed, without the hanky panky. You won't know yourself when you wake up on the new bed.
kell- Sounds like he saved up those poos to explode at once! 4 a day! Wow he does poo alot. Enjoy mums group.
Chrissy- Glad to hear Craig is recovering well and you had a nice birthday.
Rikki- Congrats on becoming an auntie, it must've looked so cute when Ainsleigh was cuddling him.
Laurin- When Dh gets back hand him Rylee and give yourself a break! Even if its just a short one.
HelenP- yes you smell... didn't want to say anything though, lol. How are your sick kiddies today?
School term ends tomor which means I have Df home for 2 weeks! yay. I get more sleep ins then. And I'll get a break, can go to the hairdresser, need my foils done, they haven't been done since before Ash was born, oh and guess what we may attempt to finally dtd! Pmsl, we still haven't, but Nelle did give us til the end of the year!
-
Yay on Ash's sleep. Woo hoo!!!!

Mildred and Earl.
Mildred, 93, was despondent over the recent death Of her husband Earl,
so she decided to just kill herself and join him in death.
Thinking it would be best to get it over with quickly, she took out
Earl's old Army pistol and made the decision to shoot herself In the
heart since it was so badly broken in the first place.
Not wanting to miss the vital organ and become a vegetable and a burden
to someone, she called her doctor's office to learn her heart's exact
location.
"Since you're a woman," the doctor said, "your heart is just below your
left breast. Why do you ask?"
She hung up without answering.
Later that night, Mildred was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot
wound to her knee.

Shell.. oh thats good youll have DF home for a few weeks! Make sure you demand sleep ins!! Oh no that means the shops are gonna be terrible!! Oh i hate school holidays. Yep 4 poos! I feel like all i do all day is change stinky poos!

Laurin.. oh i bet its nice to have him home! Yep they seem back to normal.. he pooped twice today.. so thats better than nothing. Thanks for asking.
-
Hey Laurin,
What does hubby do that means he is away so much? Do you have to move around a lot for his work? Sorry if you have already explained before, but coming late into this thread I am still getting to know you all.
I know how hard it is on your own, as Tim is away 8 days at a time, then 6 at home.
-
Meg- Once you move to gisborne is that so hubby won't be away as much cause you'll be close by?
Kell- Yeah its great having him home for school holidays but as you said it sux with the shops being packed and we can only go on holidays during that time so everyone else is away as well, so whatever we do is always busy.
Laurin- Lucky DH of yours gets to go to bed when he is tired! make sure he gives you a break.
Nessa- How are you now? You enjoying some time off for yourself?
How all the preggy gals going? maz that m/s eased off at all?
Jodi- You lurking around? How is Nina going? Anything new with you both?
Okay Lost bout to start gotta get off here.
-
Yep. Once we move, he wont be away at all. He will work his 8 nights from home. Basically he will take the ambulance home, and if he gets a call out at night, he meets his partner at the job. It also means that he can come home for lunch every day. (again just bring the ambulance home)
So I am really looking forward to that, as not only is it exhausting for me at home by mayself, but Tim is sick of the travelling back and forwards.
-
question for you lot ???
do you ever read threads on here or other forums and think well thats highly fictional :dunno: lately I seem to be reading a lot of threads that seem suspect I forward them to my sister she is a member here and she usually comes back with the same thoughts :dunno:
-
I must say Rach I dont really check out the other threads as much as I used to so I cant really say one way or another.
Sorry to be just about me but AF finally arrived today, but as usual it has bad timing as I am staying at mum and dad's for the next few days while Leith paints the house.
My brother told me today that him and his girlfriend are having a baby, he is so excited its so cute. He sent me a pic of the ultrasound and everything.
Better go.
Oh way to go Nessa on the long bath.
Love
-
I *think* my AF might be finally on the way too Helen... I had two of the tiniest pinkish spots two days ago, so my body must be doing something.
Nessa - Bliss! I would kill for a long hot soak these days... but I can't even be stuffed clearing all Xander's bath toys out of the tub.
Rikki - Congrats on being an Aunty, poor thing having to have an emergancy c-sect - what happened? I hope she's ok. Must be just about time for us to catch up again me thinks... and you too Caddie.
Kellxx - Good to hear things are back to normal on the poo issue. Who'd have thought (thinking a few years back) that we'd be so engrossed in the subject of baby poo!
Shell - Woo hoo to Ash sleeping through. I hope she does the same tonight for you. I hear you on the bubs being bored when stuck inside all day... If the weather is really yuck and I can't go for a walk with the pram, I take Xander outside under the patio and show him the plants in the garden and it seems to amuse him for a little while.
Meg - That's awesome news re your DH!
Xander seems to be a whole lot better now. He is eating heaps, probably to make up for the last two weeks, and is sleeping a little bit better. Oh, and the nappies are getting a lot more bearable too!
-
Hey bootifuls.
Rach, no idea on that, I only really check out here and the nappy thread. I'm sure there are people who do make stuff up though, there will be people like that in pretty much any community to some extent right?
Ness a bath sounds like bliss! But like some of the others, I've got good ol AF, though a week early which is super wierd, no idea what's going on there. But yeah, I always feel like a bath when I've got AF. Sucks hey!
Ambz, did you not realise you were pregnant because you had a period, or had implantation bleeding? Or did you just lose track of your dates and not realise you'd missed your period?
That's great that Xander's getting better Anna! And yay on more bearable nappies - you still using cloth? What's your workhorse naps now?
Helen, congrats to your bro and his gf!! That's fun.
Well, we're on a new page (for my view anyway, I've got it on display maximum posts per page), so I can't look to remember what else I was going to reply to.
What's up Belle? How's little Goolia?
Big cheery hello to our lurkers :D And also kisses to the non lurkers I didn't mention.
Nothing really interesting here, although we did find out today that rent assistance got approved, AND we got backpaid from last Oct, when we first applied, but didn't hand in a form they needed, which we handed in last week when we re-applied! Things had been getting a bit tight, and we'd been praying for a bit of relief and what do you know?? So yeah, Ran's car is registered again now. :p
Oh, and I think River's teething a bit again, he was so upset this afternoon, and while his poos are still solid, they STINK!! Ohhh my they stink.
-
Nelle - I do normally use cloth and just started again, but the last fortnight he has been in 'sposies as I just couldn't deal with washing that off my precious nappies. I mainly use pockets now - BumG's are my faves, my Scott prefers the Greenkids. Great news on getting backpaid on the rent assistance - bet that helped heaps! Time for a blog update...
-
Meg.. how far away from home does Tim work? It will be good when he can drive the ambulance home!
Rach.. oh i so hear ya too! What i find the funniest is when youve told some something you do with your baby and you find them repeating it in another thread that they do it with their? IYKWIM But others yeh i just wonder. Also since the whole points thing has come in i think its made it worse, as you can see some people are just going so over the top with their replies to score a few points.. and its as if.. THEYRE PLAYING THE GAME!!!!!!
Nessa.. oh good bath!
Helen.. congrats on being an Aunty-to-be!!!
Anna**.. oh i so know! Who'd ever thought we'd be there inspecting the consitancy and colour of poo!
Nelle.. Oh woo on getting that money! Thats one thing i hate about assistance.. unless you know what youre getting or what you should be getting, they wont tell you if theres something else you could be getting money for.. hmm i hope that made sense.
Well chickadees.. best run.. Mums group is at my place today.. its spotless, but im paranoid its not?.. Nessa.. youll see how pedantic i am when you get here!!!
Have a good day, and stay warm!!
-

our car has been stolen from our driveway...........and that is a great way to end a FU** HORRIBLE MONTH!!!!........not insured and no income coming in.
-
Oh no Chrissy! If things are really that bad financially, have a chat to centrelink and see about drawing on some super to get you through (it can be done under certain hardships). Once Craig is up and able to work, look at getting some income protection insurance "just in case"
-
Chrissy- OMG! That totally sucks, what next! Hopefully the police will find it without it being damaged.
Maz- Have you spoken to Dr bout these episodes? Maybe you should get checked out.
HelenP and Anna- Twice I've had some sort of Af but first time was for 2 days and second time was a day. Pretty happy with that! It makes me wonder if I am O'ing or not I did think I was a couple times cause had the pain and all. Who knows.
I don't really notice bout other threads and stories. I always wonder why ppl make up stuff? Get a life instead or something.
