oh oh....ive been naughty. I jusst went and bought some much needed new cloths after Centerlink paid me back $3800 (ok $1800 was that $600 per kid) but i over estimated for the year and they paid me back just over $2000. Now I can pay off my carpet that ive been struggling to do (on buyers edge). It was so nice to see something and just throw it in the trolley without having to go...hm what bill can I pay with that amount. So I got some 3/4 army print pants and a white top for me...I havent bought myself clothes in so long.
Sorry for self infected post...but for a change things are starting to look up for us
BBL turtle sticking its head out

Im ok thanks for asking Meg :) Should be cleaning but do you think I can find the energy?
Ah Maz youve just reminded me to get up Ry about having his tax done so I can get my Centrelink money. Apart from the $600 we get they are going to owe me atleast another $600 if not more for overestimating Ry's income.
Ha the funny thing about teething is we go through heck while they cut them and then within a year or two of it finishing they start losing them
I have a whingy snotty baby on my hands and a whopper of a headache. I have to go into town but I dont want to go, I cant even find the energy to clean my house.
Im such a useless housewife. I need a cleaner :p
-
Ness- Yeah PM me link, I wouldn't mind just checking it out, sounds interesting! Thanks.
Maz- yay, don't you love that, its like getting free money when you get it in one lump sum. I need to buiy myself some clothes too, always end up buying ***** for Ash instead.
Belle- Hopefully these new meds will be the right ones for you. Let us know how those new techniques work for you.
AnnaT- I want a cleaner too, since having Ash I find the housework always getting on top of me. Its gets me down sometimes looking around at the clutter seeing what needs to be done and I get all stressed.
-
Ness - PM the link too - may as well have a look.
Belle - fingers crossed about the new meds
AnnaT - I want a cleaner, and I am not even preggers
Maz - Isnt retail therapy great??!!
-
Well done on the clothes maz! We need some good money like that now.Lawnmowing is not as prosperous as in the summer months and so winter can get lean.
Well just spent $80 on a dieticion and she told me nothing new so i feel like it was wasted money. She did advise me to get a new toaster and a few other things so that my stuff dont get contaminated.
Tommorow i have an xray and i have to drink this barium stuff.Hope its not too horrible.
Annat i would love a cleaner too.My house resembles a childcare centre!
Madam ruby is calling, she has a cold and is whingy so BBL again.
-
Another one that wants a cleaner here!
Shell - I'm like you, I just look at the clutter and get so stressed out. My health nurse keeps telling me that I expect too much of myself and that is the problem... I just like my house looking clean that's all!!!!
-
Hey all,
just poppingin to say hi and we are off to the doctor so will BBL

Phew nice to hear Im not the only one who cant keep up with the cleaning!
Cads - good luck with tomorrow! Sucks you wasted $80 to be told what you already know.
I have put a roast chicken in the oven but Im not sure its going to cook in under 3 hrs because its so fricken cold here, even though I left it out from 9am this morning it still wasnt thawed completely by 5pm when I put it in the oven :cryinglaugh: I dont even know why I bother running my frige-freezer I should just leave everything outside by the backdoor.
-

Rans has got home in time to read Riv a book before bed - he's working looong hours most of this month while his co-worker's on holdiays. At least the overtime money will come in handy, but I'm going to miss our afternoons together. :( Ah well.

Oh. My. God.
Jett is close to walking. He has been letting go of furniture and standing on his own all day today, he did it standing next to me at the comp this morning he was so engrossed in pulling a thread on his sleeve he just let go of the desk and stood there for about 3 min pulling and pulling at it :cryinglaugh: , and even took a stumbled step towards me tonight (but Im not counting it because walking is a series of step hehe). He even got behind the folded up ironing board and pulled it off the wall and just stood there holding it one handed :D I dont know how he didnt fall over!
I hope he chooses to do it when Dhs home or he'll be sad.
:dance::clap: Im so excited!!
-
Woo hoo Jett - you go honey
-
all the best Caddie for tomorrow
yay for Jett!
-
I did mine and Grahame's tax on a friday via the net and was there the following friday (this one just been).. so took a week. Just remember those who havent worked in the last financial year need to call them up and let them know.
-
I still haven't done my tax, we're still gathering everything together, gotta work out whats what and we sold all our shares too to put towards house so gotta work out what we've gained on and what we've lost on.
AnnaT- Jett sounds like he is doing what Ash is doing, I didn't know either if I could count that stumbling step as walking, thought maybe not yet.
Maz- You might have to cut whole in that nightie to get your speed hump thru. And pooey to Jed you deserve to buy yourself something for a change.
Nelle- Does get bit lonely in the evenings doesn't it when partners aren't around. My sister is a single mum and I always ask her how she copes on her own every evening.
Laurin- How did it go at the Drs?
Caddie- Good luck with drinking chalky stuff, I always wonder how with all the technology and modern medicine how they can never make these things taste any good!
Ness- thanks for the link to the nappy hunt.
I am lost tonight without desperate housewives and brothers and sisters, what do i watch now?
-
Ness - pmsl laguhing when I read about Annika naked. i bet she looks super gorgeous matie. How long has she been wlaking for now? I think they look to small to walk, little bottle corks!
Kell - you got yours back quick to...hmm money money money (hmm bugger its gone now) hope your doing ok matie
Shell - I would do it but then bump will get cold and nothing worse than a cold bump hehehe I also bought some 3/4 pants and thoguht beauty these guys willl fitt...oh no they dont, they fit perfect int he legs etc but at wide open (about 20cm) at bump! Im a bit lost with no telie to so I might actually fold some washing grrrrrr :(
I still cant believe that ive hit the 14 week mark, were has the time gone????
-
oh i so am pregnant I cant spell for $hit
-
I still can't believe some of our bubs are walking! One of the little boys in our playgroup is walking already.. I agree Maz, he looks like a little bottle cork.
-
Hey all,
Caddie - best of luck tomorrow - def put a peg over your nose when you drink the stuff and try and imagine it is something yummy.
AnnaT - cute on Jett standing by himself and taking his first steps - there will be no stopping him now.
Maz - don't feel one bit guilty about spending - after everything you do!!!! Pffft - you def deserve it.
Nelle - make the most of your evenings by yourself - try and get Riv to bed early so you can have a bath, read a book, etc.
Well, we have been to the Dr's - turns out Rylee had a viral infection and is dehydrated, so I have just been keeping an eye on her and trying to get as much of the hydrating liquid into her as possible. She is having her arvo nap now so hopefully she will wake a bit happier.
Have a good one!
Laurin :)
-
morning all,
Not much to report here. James has another cold/cough, as well as teething still. Although he slept through last night thanks to Panadol!!!!
Laurin - glad that at least you know what is wrong with Rylee and you can start treatment.
ness - great on Anika walking. James has really only just started crawling (on his tummy)
Shell - I am the same - no desperate housewives. I went and read a book!!
-
Morning ladies!
Jetts turned into a daredevil overnight! He doesnt even really hold onto things when he cruises furniture now and has already scared me twice this morning letting go of things and stepping between them. Ry spent all last night trying to get him to walk, he's so excited lol When J went to bed Ry bent over and said "kisses" and J climbed up the coffee table, pushed away and stood there licking Ry's lips (he'd had lollies and J could taste them). It was so cute. Should have got a photo (mental note - find digi camera).
I feel awful today, I have the worst headache and some wicked nausea that is related to the headache I think. I bet its my blood pressure
BBL, Jett has pooed himself and it smells like last nights roast chicken (which cooked great afterall!) :cryinglaugh: So not making me want chicken again anytime soon.
-
Maz.. yep.. i do mine every year online and usually takes a week to get into the bank. Oh i know.. money money mmmmm.. ours is going to get our cars serviced, had a little shopping spree yesterday, not much though, Gray got some DVDs, Jesse got some shoes and a Raggs DVD.. and im getting a new mobile phone! woo!!
Ness.. shes so clever! Shes gonna have to teach Jesse how to walk when your here!!!! Since yesterday hes been starting to stand and let go, but only last for about 5 seconds.. though i guess its a start! I know, i love seeing him stand in the bath (apart from being scared he'll fall!).. he's sucha little person!!
Laurin.. oh poor Rylee.. hope shes better today poor pet.
Meg.. oh no poor James..
-
My appoint didnt happen.Went and stripped off and the machine broke! So next monday now.
It was wild and whooley here last night.Next suburb across had a mini tornado.I was worried the rain was going to come in the house it was raining that hard!! And its brrr today.
Annat, hope you can rest up if its yoor bp. Your av looks great! Cant believe that all you gilrs have roughly 23 weeks to go!!
Well done on the walking bubs!!! Thats great.I remember millana walking at 91/2 months and she was like a doll too. Ruby stands and will sometimes let go of furniture but thats about it!
ruby has another tooth and a slight cold so has been mega cranky. And millana just coughing up a storm at night and then coming into bed with us as usual.Theres no room!
Oh thats no good about rylee! nothing worse than feeling dehydrated.Hope she takes some fluids laurin.I used a syringe on millana when little.Just 10mls at a time. But she was vomiting with gastro so probably completely diff scenario!!
Hope james recovers soon. When it rains it pours!! poor tyke.
Ok going to figure out what to have for lunch?

Belle- I think I have one of those mats if it is same one, Ash pulls apart all the time and chews on them. Don't you love sleep-ins!
Caddie- That bit annoying you have to go back next week for the test.
Laurin- how is Rylee today?
I've got mums group this arvo, not starting til 3 this week. Right when Ash will be due for a sleep! Oh well she will be having to much fun with the other bubs to worry bout naps at least she had a good one this morning.
-
Hey all,
Quiet in here today...
AnnaT - hope you have got your feet up though hard with a little one getting into everything.
Caddie - what a bummer your appointment was cancelled - how annoying -just when you were all psyched up for it.....
Shell - I have got my Mum's group this arvo to, it had stopped coz of school hols so will be nice to see the Mum's again and for Rylee to get together with some other bubs.
Belle - Yay on the sleep in :)
Well, Rylee seems 100% again, I rang up the doctor to see what she thought about me taking her out this afternoon and she said it was fine as long as there was no vomiting, and also that it wasn't contagious. She didn't vomit yesterday, I am still getting lots of fluids into her but she seems pretty happy. I went to the gym this morning for my fitness assessment, there is a creche there which I left Rylee at, so I feel a little bit more like a normal person - so outta shape though.......
Have a good one!
Laurin :)
