Meg i use to wash millana's with a soft cloth until she got use to my fingers and things near her mouth and at the beginning chewed the brush but is a pro at brushing teeth now and always reminds me!!!
Nelle not tax time yet.Probably round sept we do ours.We get a really good professional to do ours. Does cost us $750 but worth every cent when we get money back.
My kids love being outside too.Pity our winter has come in everyday almost for the past 2 weeks.Gotta go,millana being a turd.
Vy uses the toothbrush (chews it more like it to Meg) the boys were the same and im not worried, Nikolaus just turned 7 and has only lost 2 teeth so far.

All this money everyone's getting back makes me optimistic! I already know Centrelink will fork over around $2000 (bye bye to the credit card finally! And I can pay my OBGYN fee's of which I will get $1000 back anyway WOOT!) and Ry worked out last night he should get atleast $1000 back. We're just waiting on a group certificate from where he worked in Perth and then we can do it. Im so hoping we'll get enough to buy Jett a big boy bed and a new pram.
Appointment day today! Be back later when I hopefully have news. I am not leaving his office until I know what flavour this bub is.

Ok so I havent said anything because I didnt want to jinx us but he's been sleeping great the last week, only waking twice max and only for a bottle. Last night he only woke once! He slept 9pm-5am and then til 8:45! Generally he's asleep til 9am. I hope this continues to get longer and with less waking.

AnnaT- Ooh I hope bubs is behaved and lets you see what he/ she is! My prediction is all you preggy gals are having girls.
Meg- Ash loves her brush, I think cause for ages when Df has been brushing his own teeth she watches and has been facinated by it so when we eventually got her own toothbrush she didn't mind it.
I wish Ash would start sleeping better, she did for like 2 weeks and then it started going downhill again. If someone had told me when I was preg I'd still be getting up 2-3 times a night at 10 months I wouldn't have believed!
oh Ness you poor chicken, I hope you both get better really soon.

And not only does Ash want to wake more often overnight but she has also decided she is not into sleeping in the day, we've reverted back to screaming then the evenings are hell cause she is sooo tired from hardly sleeping all day. We leave for gymbaroo in an hour like last week we ended up going without any sleep prior.

.....the bloody OB wouldnt make a call either way about what flavour we have. He wouldnt even keep looking just told me to be patient (wish there was a smiley that made rude gestures cause Id use it here :cryinglaugh: )
BUT............it looked like a girl to me, he couldnt see anything for ages between the legs so he said "Probably a girl but dont go buying pink yet, wait for confirmation in a few weeks" then he moved up the body a bit and saw what to me was obviously the cord but he said "Ah it *could* possibly be a penis". I wanted to say - well where are the balls buddy? Thats an awfully square, high, ball-less penis we have there ;)
So I will be very surprised if its a boy because the money shot looked NOTHING like Jett's.
Everything else is ok, BP was alright, still showing protein in my urine so have to watch that. Lost another kg so Im down to 58. He wants me to be at 72kg by 38wks and I told him "mate youll have buckleys, I only made it to 69 with Jett and half that was fluid". Book into hospital in a few weeks time. Next appointment is Aug 24th where he will hopefully look again for me to confirm the sex, if not I have to wait til the 30th for my 20wk u/s :wall:
So no shopping for me just yet.
(If any of you have girl gender u/s pics to share I would gladly appreciate seeing them so I can compare!)

You wouldnt see a penis and not balls, quite obvious when the legs are apart and all you can see is empty space between them you know? Ryan is still holding out that its a boy but I assured him it looked nothing like Jett's u/s pics. The "possible penis" he saw was block shaped, like when they show you a x-section of the cord? It was shadowed in white too, not bobbing around and skinny.

AnnaT Looks like you will just have to wait a few more weeks. I know with me, they could def tell James was a boy at 12 weeks. It was very obvious.
Shell and Maz - Sorry about the not so sleepy bubs. Some days james only sleeps 20 mins all day. I know that those will be the nights that he will wake. Did 1.5 hours this morning. That was amazing. He is now having a rest, but he wont go to sleep for the rest of the day.
Doctors surgery called. They said that they could not tell me my results over the phone. Their words - "it is not urgent, but we need you to come in some time in the next week." I hate it when they say that, coz your mind goes into worry mode. I am not stressing too much though. I just want to see it through with this doctor, coz we move in 3 weeks time. Anyway I have made an appointment for Tuesday morning. Fingers crossed they won't want me to have surgery. (I have a feeling they will though)
They told me at 13wks with Jett too. It was very very obvious. This time round even at my 13wk u/s there was nothing to show me it was a boy, just legs and empty space lol
I hate when Drs do that to Meg, Im sure it really isnt anything to worry about. Youll get in there and think "Is THAT all?"
AnnaT - Bummer on not being able to find out - at 16 weeks we got told Rylee was boy and then at 20 weeks a girl - hence her name - was going to be Riley and we got so used to the name we then changed it to Rylee to make it look more feminine.
Shell - I am so with you on the sleeping, I thought I had cracked the code with Rylee and she was doing well for a couple of weeks with 12 am till 7 am - last night was a shocker - will need plenty of coffee today. I know, I can't I STILL have a baby who hasn't slept through the night....
Better go, today's going to be one of those days and DH has gone to Namibia until Sunday, grrrrrrr.

ahh you know whaqt annoys me the most about the sleeping...2 gf's have NB's (3 and 4 weeks old) and their sleeping 10pm until 7.30am/.......I friggen wish!!! *stomping my feet*

Hmm with all these non sleepers we might have to have a slumber party and shove all the bubs into room together while we have some wine and chocs! Lol.
AnnaT- We got told at 12 week scan it was 85% girl than at the 20 week one 99% girl. I think with girls its harder for them to be accurate cause just cause they can't see a penis doesn't mean its not there iykwim. A friend of mine when she was preg got told by her Dr, 60% girl 40% don't know! I thought how stupid you may as well just say 50/50.
Meg- My fingers are crossed that you won't have to have surgery, you always know something is up though when they don't tell you stuff on phone but it could be minor. How you going with the packing and everything? What date you move?
Well Ash is asleep now, I think gymbaroo did the trick, afterwards we went for quick coffee and she started falling asleep in pram, slept in car and then even let me carry her inside and into bed without stirring! She never does that so I knew eventually she'd have to conk out!
ETA: Maz when Ash was like 6 weeks she was sleeping 8 hours straight and then at 9 weeks started going downhill so maybe there good sleepers will turn round and bite them in bum! Oh and I love the pic of Vy in your ticker.

I've got maz, AnnaT and Ambz all girls and now Ness with boy.
I forgot to say, Ash has been taking couple stumbly steps over last couple weeks but today she actually took 3-4 and looked like actual walking rather than just a stumble! yay!
I entered Ash into competition to find the next face for boost baby foods range so she had her photos taken this morning for it. Now generally she is smiling and laughing at people but as soon as it came to photo time she got a vague look instead. She is funny.
Where is Anna these days? I noticed she hasn't posted in here for awhile.

savanna is so confident with her walking now she even picks up her toys and throws them in all sorts of places. sometimes i find rocky running around with a teddy of hers and i chuck a fit. hes taken to hiding behind the bathroom door just to get away from her loll

she launches herself backwards bending her back and throwing her head back if she gets upset or doesnt get what she wants.
i put her down on the floor the other day and she did it and smacked her head on the ground.. youd think shed learn from that.. ahhaha as if!!!

Maz, If you think my tummy was big in that pic you should see it now. Im going to take another belly pic tonight because I really have gotten so big in the last week. I had a girl tell me I was really fat the other day, even though she knows Im pregnant (and only 15wks at that). She said "Oh you look like your 23/24wks". I said yeah it happens that all the women in my family show early and get big. This is my second baby in 2 years. I wanted to punch her in the head. Being told Im big for how far along I am I can deal with but Im fat? No one sane says that to any woman let alone a preggo one!

Well more news from us.................... no not preg but we are so close to buying place! The real estate guy coming soon to sign papers, we went thru private sale, townhouse, its only 5 years old, great inside plenty living space, doesn't need any work, maybe just decrotive stuff to our tastes. Downside is no real backyard, has small garden area and balcony but thats it and other downside is right next to mobile phone tower but the pro's easily outweigh cons plus we got into an area we wanted also.
Congratulations Shell, that's great news!!! When do you reckon you'll get to move into it? As for the not much backyard, well it's not perfect, but then again, heaps and heaps of kiddies grow up in apartments and are fine.
Well, River is yelling (not crying, yelling) all through Antiques Roadshow, which I really like watching! Cheeky, that's what it is.
