Thats not good maz that they let your mum out so early. What about physio on her arm? whats her speech like?
I have a massive headache, going to my bone scan now.
Updated my ticker but alas no baby pic as aaron has put all to disk.
Your bubs are all cute by the way!

Oh. My. God.
Jett is having THE biggest tantrum I have ever seen. He has this thing about pulling the phone cords and knocking the phone base off the shelf. I gave him the portable handset (minus batteries so no $60 phone calls to Siberia ;) ) to play with so he'd leave the base alone but he STILL went for it. So I said No and sat him on the other side of the room, phone in hand.
Well he is STILL screaming 5 min later, in baby obscenities Im sure. He even smacked me and screamed high pitched in my face when I took him away from it. I seriously dont know if I can handle tantrums this early. I didnt even know they COULD throw tantrums this early if they dont get what they want. I just sat him in his cot because I didnt know what to do and left him there to cool off.
-
Sounds like you did the right thing Annat! They sure know what they want, don't they, River often has bursts of temper in the midst of his mildness when he gets something taken off him. I just try and distract him, and if he won't be distracted, well fine, I'm not sticking around to watch him be angry. He'll come and find me for a cuddle when he's done. Or he'll get distracted by something else and forget his temper.
-
Ness- God, I hope that m/s settles down, don't ruin that Sydney trip! Hmm maybe you are having a boy this time if the girls didn't give you this trouble.
AnnaT- Yeah they have tantrums this young, in their minds they are the centre of the universe and they should get what they want when they want it! Yeah weather was alright today, still bit chilly but sun was out so nice.
Was mistake though going for a walk when I feel like this, got home so puffy, felt dizzy and had the shakes, think I'll just rest!
-
AnnaT - I want to thank you so much for sharing that with me. And thank you also for realising how hard it is to make that step. At this stage its just an all day session every saturday, but if I need more it will be a 4 week live in situation, shared room and I cant take Julia with me... depends on my interview tomorrow with the admission psychiatrist.
Shell - unfortunately no mothers bubs units that will deal with my kind of case in Sydney Tresillian deals with PND but bubs are sometimes much younger and I have already seen Tresillian when Julia was 6 weeks old and I was diagnosed with PND and they recommended private treatment for me...
Nessa - thank you..
Nelle - I havent had a chance to say congrats on your BFP :)
-
Aww thanks Belle mate! I'd type more but I need to pee again.
-

Just a quicky.....
Shell - No, we are all from NSW. My fam moved down there to Moe about ten yrs ago when he retired. Did not do them much good, They got divorced 2 years ago.
Shell & AnnT - thanks for asking. He has a small hobby farm with beef cattle. One of the calves ran into him and he did something to his hip......2 months ago. Its just got worse and worse. All he told me was they found 'something' and need to op.
AnnaT - ROFL @ Toxic Boy!!!!:cryinglaugh:
When DS chucks a wobbly I just walk off on him. God only knws what I will do should it happen in public. Mught put a bike chain on him and tie him to the nearest clothes rack so no one will run off with him......:D
Well, best run, Rick took Bails out for a bit and I just burnt half of dinner. Bugger.

Easy Ness - Email the pic to yourself, then use the emailed pic. That is what I had to do.
Popping James in the bath BBL when he is in bed
-
belle - I've texted you, hopefully you've got it. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
maz - I hope you're mum is going to be ok, and gets thorough check ups to make sure. How are you feeling? I hope you're not too stressed about it all. Gotta think of Mr Squiggles.
kel - I reckon she'll be representing Aust too! lol (well she'd better be anyway!)
annat - Nina chucks tantrums too. I either walk away, or put her in her bed and leave her there till she's calmed down. It doesn't take long to calm down though. Sometimes a few seconds, other times a couple of minutes. When I hear her playing in her cot, then I know she's happy. The little terrors they are, they're testing us out!
shell - hope you got some rest this afternoon.
nessa - I had terrible m/s with my pg, but the difference being I didn't have kids, so could rest up whenever I felt. I hope it eases up in time for you to go to Sydney. It'd be a shame for you to be sick while on holidays.
ok, Heath's booting me off the computer, bbl when he's not looking!
-
maz- I am thinking of you. Try and take some time for yourself if you can.
Belle - Good news that you are in the program. THink of it as a new start on the road to your recovery.
Shell - How is Ash today? Any better? Hope you are feeling alright.
AnnaT - James does the same thing. I say "Is James beautiful?" and he shakes his head and says "no" Then I say to him, "that's because you are handsome!!"
Caddie - Hope the bone scan goes alright. You probably have a stress headache.
Ness - keep the fluids up.
Kell - 8 teeth woo Hoo!
Jodi - Yay on Nina's swimming!
Happy 11 months Bailey.
Hello to everyone else. Hope you are having a good evening.
james has been a little sook for the past three days. I think that he can sense something going on with all the packing. Only 3 more sleeps till the move...

Hey Ho,
All these tiny baby photos are making me teary, so I have jumped on the bandwagon and added mine, they are all so sweet, can you believe nearly a year....just the thought makes me want to cry, god knows what I will be like on her birthday and the funny thing is she won't even know that anything is going on.
Lots has been happenning in here....
Maz - how are you coping with everything, feel like you are on the treadmill of life at the moment, take a minute to jump off and do something nice for yourself and the little one inside.
Meg - woo hoo, bet you are counting down the sleeps till you move - and can't wait to get into the house.
Shell - sorry you aren't feeling so great, hope you get a good nights sleep and Ash pulls a 'sleep through'.
Nessa - thanks for putting all the addresses together. I was reading through everyones 'real' names - makes us all seem like real people now...that sounds bad - not intended, but ykwim.....once I get back to Melb I would like to put a face to the name of some of the melb girls.
Vixstar - Big Happy 11 Months to Bailey, hope the dinner turned out ok after all.
Belle - good on you for taking these big steps to help yourself, that is very courageous.
Sorry I know I have missed people..Helen, Chrissy, Caddie, Nelle, AnnaT, Annie, Anna, Jodi, Rikki, Kell...
DH is away till Sunday, so just me and the girl.
Better go, have lunch, do a few things.
Laurinxxx
-
Laurin - I agree. I would love to catch up with the Melb girls from this thread. (and everyone else if they want to make the visit to Melb)
-
Oh how I'd love a trip to Melbourne right now... actually, would rather Sydney, but it's all so close over east so really wouldn't matter!!!!
Xander has got another tooth. Number 8. Just in time for his birthday.
Is it normal to be a bit teary about him turning 1? I mean, I'm so happy how well he is growing up, but still yearn for that tiny newborn too.
-
Us Victoria gals have been slackos about actually organising the phantom meetup we've been talking about since the kids were born lol Im usually free anytime, except for the last weekend of next month (but thats Grand Final weekend too). Im happy to travel to anywhere in Melb thats convenient for you guys as long as I have atleast a weeks notice to plan munchies, toilet stops and money (so I can shop lol). We've got until may 2008 to do it because after that youll be deprived of my company and the Sydney gals will get to see fabulous lil ol me ;) :cryinglaugh:
As bad as it sounds Im glad to see Jett isnt unusual for having tantrums. He's been happy as larry since then and is now asleep. Ry asked him when he got home "Have you been a naughty boy today?" and he shook his head no and said "Mum". Little bugger
Vix - I hope whatever that 'something' your Dad has isnt serious. Typical male isnt he to be playing it down. Probably doesnt want to worry you too much. And believe me Jett was toxic with that poo lol It smelled exactly like night before last's dinner - I dont think I'll ever be able to eat meat pie again.
Belle - your more than welcome sweets. I used to be so ashamed of having made that decision, esp being so young but now Im just proud of myself and who've Ive grown to be because of it and glad to share my experience with people so they can see that clinic's do work if your serious about getting better. I met so many different people in there with so many different issues, people most of the public wouldnt dream could have reasons to be there on face value judgement. I made fabulous friends in there too, some years older than me who played a huge part in my recovery. If you dont mind my asking, can you share with me which facility your using? In private ofcourse. Im here if you ever want to talk. Just pm me or catch me on Msn :)
Ness - I hope you start to feel better soon. I think having kids to take care of, esp young ones like ours, makes pregnancy 10x more tiring and draining. There is light at the end of the tunnel though, Im starting to feel a bit more human again now.
Im sitting here eating Nutella out of the jar. Naughty arent I? :P
-
Goodluck tommorow belle,i agree with one of the girls. Its a positive step to your recovery.I am really hoping it works for you.Your such a great woman and i admire how you have coped with looking after julia, even your hubby with all this going on.
Thanks ness, your ebay stuff arrived today! I will put some pos feed back for you mate.
Ok scan went fine, dont know results. But in regarding the lymphnodes i have to wait another month for a ct scan.
Going to rest, headache is stress related i think.I stress too much...and think too much.lol
And i noticed some blisters on ruby's feet so i reckon she has the hand, foot and mouth thing and not the mouth ulcer/herpes thing.
-
Glad the scan went fine Caddie. I dont know how you do it with all these appointments and scans, Id go nuts. I hope the news continues to be good *big hugs*
Nighty night time for me so I can atleast get an hour or two sleep before Jett wakes up for a final feed and cuddle. Atleast he sleeps 11:30-8:30, Im not a total zombie anymore.
Kisses to everyone!
