i tried going through the mail list to match the suburb but couldnt find it loll
cheeky buggar you are :P ok im going to take a wild guess and guess it was caddie & ruby or shellbell & ashleigh ??? hehe am i close?
i need to get my butt into gear and mail off my kk im so slack!
bought Savanna a couple more pressies today...couldnt help myself.
I got her a princess castle tent which my hubby has already opened and set up for her... honestly i dont know who the baby is some days!!!
lucky i also got her a leap frog leap pad and a winnie the pooh activity book to go with it. Savanna pulled it out the shopping bag when we got home then was walking around the house with it hoping daddy would open it too. but i got my way and convinced him to keep it for sunday lolll
this 1st birthday party is costing a fortune!!! we have hired out a hall for saturday and are catering some food while family members are cooking other dishes.i got off easily all im doing is a salad HAHAHAAHAH and maybe some chocolate crackels for the kiddies. i cant wait till the McDonald birthday parties roll around for the next few years.... gonna be so much easier and cheaper too loll

luv ambz
xoxoxox
Ambz- Glad you liked the present your KK gave you. ;)
HelenP- When do you go for the scan?
James just went down very upset. He used to be so good in the evenings. I hope these darn teeth hurry up.
Shell you got too much time on yr hands. All these championships!
Ruby little better, ate some toast for tea but milk is off the menu as she vomited it up on me at lunch! Cant risk it! Poor thing just been sleeping on me and all pale. Just done a poo and thats normal so dont know whats up.She use to spew like this once a month ages ago but not for a while.
Helen when is your scan?
Ambz.. what did she get from her KK?? do tell!!
Maz.. its just a butter cake. I forgot to buy a cake mix yesterday when i was at the shops so had to make it from scratch. But ive made that one before and its yummo. I kinda decided to decorate it this arvy. The 2 characters Jesse likes is Elmo and Boo. And Boo is just way too hard and way too many colours so i opted for elmo again. Not as wonderful as the first one as i only did it on made butter icing as i had no ready to roll stuff, but have put a pic up in Jesse's Birthday Photos on his site.
I am so astonished and bowing to you now Kell, RIkki, Anna, Ness and any one else that can make a cake look that dame good! Mine just look like mountains of lava or like ive spewed on them...hahahah
Caddie - oh poor little Ruby....atleast her poo is normal..Vy's is yellow, smells sour, is thin and has slim in it. YUCK!
Ambz - we got a leap pad thingo (I am brain dead after the arcade stuff!!!) for Vy she loves it and a fisher price piano. She plays it and bops up and down at the same time.
Meg - how many teeth does James have? Vy only has 2 and I think her mouth is just going to explode them out at once.
thats it..I hear some caromello chocolate calling me
Oh don't talk about poo.... argghhhhhhh. Xander seems to have this vile smelling liquid poo that is never ending at the moment - just revolting. Scott is sick too, and 'dying' on the couch.
Maz - on the poo subject tho, I must say that your covers are just brilliant for using with fitteds. Holds gastro in soooooo well - oh, and it survived a hot wash too! (might go order one now in case this happens again ;))
'Nuff poo talk....
HelenP - Sorry to hear you have to go for a scan. I'm hoping that all is ok and that your body is just sorting itself out hormonally.
Ambz - So what is this 'pretty' thing Savannah got for the KK?
Shell - I hope the packing is going well. I don't normally mind shifting house, but I don't know if I'd like it now I've got a bub to organise too.
Caddie - Poor little Ruby. Hope she's not coming down with anything too yucko. Maybe the start of a bad cold? Seem to be so many bugs doing the rounds at the moment.
Vix - Big congrats on the :bfp:
Nelle - Has your morning sickness settled down at all yet? and did you end up taking that job at Myer?
AnnaT - Um, shouldn't you be taking it easy woman? Soooooo... what decos' have you got planned that is gonna take up to 4 months to complete?! Xanders' room took about 2 weeks and I went pretty nuts in there.
Nessa - I'm a big believer in looking after the Mum first, nobody is much use when they are burnt out etc. After all... we all know "Happy Mum = Happy Bub"
Belle - Thanks for the chat hon. I've sent that e-mail you wanted re the cake, so let me know if you got it. Day 3 of Clomid today, 2 more days to go.
Rikki - Where are you :hiding:
Sharleen - How'd you go at the hairdressers?
Kell - Just had a peak at your homepage. The Elmo cakes look fab. Nice and bright. I think this year was the first (and last) year that I was gonna get away with doing a sensible cake for Xanders' birthday... next year I'm going to do something nice, easy and super bright as well - I almost think they make more of a statement anyway, especially for kids cakes.
Rach - Hows' Jacks' eating going now? I would try not to worry about it too much (easier said than done I know) as he'll eat if/when he needs it or feels better.
Meg - How is James' tonsellitis?
and Annie - Conjunctivitis all gone now?
Laurin - Hello (if you are somehow lurking) whilst on the move
Did I get everyone? Hmmm... actually I thought I remember a post from ChrissyT somewhere.... Big hellos if you are lurking around, how is Paige?
Oh crap Anna, yeah thanks for reminding me, I still have to write my letter to Myer!! I'm not gonna go back, I found it pretty hard working on my feet while pregnant, and the level that I work on is so hot and not well ventilated so it's hard to stay conscious sometimes! Plus it won't be worth it financially unless I'm working long shifts or quite a few shifts and it's not like I need to keep a hand in the 'career' pie - it's a casual job at Myer that put me through uni. :p
And yeah, I felt a bit sick today actually, but on the whole it's much better, that happened with the bleeding, the definite lessening of nausea, which is why I think it had something to do with the placenta taking over.
Did anyone watch 'So you think you can dance' tonight? I'm so into that show, my cousin and her hubby brought over dinner and we commentated. Good fun. So much better than Idol.
Oh, Anna, are you feeling like a feral banshee on the Clomid, or is it being good to you this time?
Sharle, hugs honey, that can't be a fun situation. Is it your dh's family? Where is the love hey?
Don't worry Maz, the last cake I made was over a year ago, not sure if you guys remember the mud cake I tried to make for Ran's birthday that sunk in the middle and I tried to fill it with icing...I'm still so scarred. It's cupcakes for me.
Man I have no skill at these games. Good to see there's Yahtzee there though, that's all luck hey!
hi girls,
yes anna**... i am being a bit of a lurker. i just find it so hard to come on and be positive when ainsleigh is so sick :( and i hate doing whingey me me me posts....we spent the day at the children's hospy again yesterday with her breathing, but the positive is that we are finally booked in to see a paedeatric respitory specialist... the princess is also not sleeping while she is sick... luckily sam has been home (yukky gastro that he caught from us and gave to half the guests at Ainsleighs party, oops) so we have been taking it turns to stay up with her. the poor little thing can only sleep sitting upright as she can't breathe properly. anyway, i'm back to work tomorrow after missing yesterday and last week... and we've had a few nice days so hopefully the end of winter will see an improvement in her health.
got some bad news from my family over east too. my cousin (bridesmaid to us) had a mc on Ainsleigh's birthday....but the good news is that i think i have convinced her to come to perth for a visit for a friends wedding so that would be great!
maz - thanks for the nice comments re Ainsleigh's cake... .I had guidance from an expert (thanks anna** :))
vix - huge congrats on your pregnancy
anna**, rach, helen - hope this is your month. good luck with the clomid anna, sounds like it is a big of a bugger
happy birthday to rylee for yesterday!
good luck with the move/packing shell
hmmmm.... what else. annat, hope you are looking after yourself now.
ness, good luck with sorting out meds and stuff. think i'll have to check out these arcade games you girls are addicted to!
nelle - yay on your decision not to go back to work. hope you are feeling better soon. had a FF yet this pregnancy??
cadds - hope ruby is well again soon.
kell - beautiful cakes!
jodi - we're coming to cairns! but not till january 2009!!!
sharl - hope you're feeling ok now
ok, best get to bed girls. i know i did not get you all... but at least i made an appearance!
xxxx
Rikki-Never worry about moaning, I would be too. I really feel for you and how upsetting it must be to see Ainsleigh sick. I truly hope that the respiritory specialist can help her out. Poor little thing having to sleep upright. HUge hugs and kisses to Ainsleigh, I hope she gets better soon.
My scan is at 2:50est.
Better go have to be at the drs in an hr for Bella.
Love
The insanity begins, Ry has gone :( I just about cried when he came in to say goodbye. He looked so worried about leaving me. Im trying to get off my butt and organise Jett for kindycare today. I was just going to keep him out until after Ry gets back but if I do that we'll have to do the clingyness all over again and atleast itll give me a chance to sit down for longer than 5min and I might actually make it to the PO to post my KK pressie. Im all groceried up so I shouldnt need to go farther than the store next door for milk and bread.
Shopping yesterday wasnt such a good idea though it had to be done, whatever had popped out and shrunk back in again completely has popped out again and my back/stomach hurts intermittently.
On the upside Jett has *finally* learned to clap! Considering he is so far ahead in everything else I was getting worried there was something wrong with his hands. Instead of clapping he used to link his hands and shake them above his head as if to say "Im a champion" :cryinglaugh: He was swinging in his JJ last night while Ry was packing (J had wind so I thought the jumper might help get it out which it did!) and Ry said something to him about "Oh arent you a clever jumping boy" and he clapped for himself. So that was a nice little Bye Daddy present.
Anywho better go get us both dressed and pack J's lunch bag. BBL.
AnnaT-You really need to try and slow down if you can hun. Whoohoo on Jett clapping.
VIxstar-Congrats on the BFP.
I spoke to dr today and she is fine if I cancel the scan and make it for next week after the bleeding has stopped as I dont have a temperature or anything. She said the bleedign can go on for a while and this is just my bodies way of making sure everything is gone.
Well I have heaps of forms etc to sign and drop off ready for settlement of property on Mon. Damn those stamp duties etc add to the price, *sigh*.
Love
Just a quick hello :hi: this morning before mums group.
Nessa.. :big :hugs: hun.. i hope youre feeling a bit better today.. am always here for you.
Have a great day ladies!
AnnaT - That's great about Jett clapping... hope your bits go back where they belong soon. Are you doing all your pelvic floor exercises?
HelenP - I'm really sorry your body is going through this right now. I hope it all ends for you soon. Arrgghhh... stamp duty! Such a swear word!
Rikki - I dunno what to say about Ains, 'cept hang in there! I really hope that the soon coming warmer weather brings some relief from the illnesses. Are your work colleagues being understanding about all this time off?
Kell - Love the ticker pic of Jesse!
I always did them Anna**. Maybe not all day everyday but I did do them. I even went to physio class when preg with Jett, walked alot and make a concious effort not to slouch/lift myself up with my core muscles. I danced for most of my life so if anyone abdo muscles would be nice itd be mine. I just dont know why this happened to me unless Jett weakened my vag muscles coming out (esp so fast) but because I had no complications the medical staff didnt think it was an issue? How can you really know though, obviously my vajayjay just cant do lots of pressure/weight. Thankgod no more babies for me atleast. Im not so worried about it anymore, Ive researched a bit on the net and its pretty easy to fix if you catch it early enough. Im just concerned about what damage another vag birth would do, as much as I am anti caesarian for myself and would do anything I could to avoid one if it will minimise damage and allow me to get out of major vaginal surgery and be able to have sex in the future then Id definately opt for it.
AnnaT - I've heard that super fast labours can cause a prolapse as you tend to push fairly uncontrollably in a fast labour (usually before your body is ready - even if bub is!). I know after Xander, it has taken nearly a year for my pelvic floor to 'lift' - and sex has been painful for most of this time. I honestly felt like everything had fallen out for many, many months. Never got it checked out, but now I wonder if I had something similar?
ETA: Is it something that can correct itself? If not, then I didn't have it. Maybe just my pelvic floor was stuffed for a while.
It can correct itself Anna, esp with rest and staying off your feet. Its like the vaginal wall swells and there is nowhere for it to go but out. That said Ive been examined 3x before this pregnancy and not once did either Dr say anything about a prolapse but I noticed this dangly bit for awhile before this all happened. Hmmm funny you mentioned what you did, I was thinking that this may have been caused by the middies telling me I wasnt ready to push yet when I was more than ready, making me wait that extra 20 min might have put too much strain on my muscles.
Either way whats done is done and hopefully it will be easy to correct and wont affect my labour/delivery.
Sorry but im having visions of you wlaking around with a builders prod to hold everything up AnnaT. I hope it all goes back to 'normal' for you.
Anna - cover on its way honey ;)
RIkki - I wish I could give you the biggest hug matie. Ainsleigh being sick has nothing to do with your skills as a mother. You get on here and let rip, thats what we're all here for - for better or worse..heheh sounds like a marriage.
Annie - got your text and im gonn acall you when ive got osme free time. Mauw honey
Nelle - I am so into that show atm....I can do those moves...yeah in my sleep.
BBL have to check amigo's
Maz- are they all better at your house now?
AnnaT - hope is all goes alright for you while you are by yourself.
Rikki - as Anna** said, maybe the warmer weather will help Ainsleigh.
Helen - hoping all goes back to normal for you asap.
Not much to say from here. James had a 2 hours sleep this morning. THat is HUGE for him!!!
hi girls how ru all? DH is home today due to APEC which is a good breather for me...im trying to relax as im quite anxious at the moment.
Helen - just want to say thinking of you hon, I bleed for 40 days when I m/c with my first - i didnt want to have d/c. When it stopped I had the ultrasound to check if anything was retained. First time was but was so small they decided not to do d/c. Hope the ultrasound goes well hon.
Anna - thanks for the email hon its great, forwarded onto mum as shes making the cake!
Girls, any ideas for finger food for first b'day parties? since im not overly well im only having 10 guests cannot handle any more and we will just have finger foods for toddlers and adults... so far got:
fairy bread
sausages & rolls
party pies
dips
sausage rolls
any other ideas?
Thanks girls..
Bel
xxx
How about cubed bits of mixed melon on a platter? or other fruit? even cherry tomatoes?
Cheese, Ham and Crackers?
Meg - if james has a big sleep through the day does he sleep all night still? WE're finding that Vy is a pain either way. She can sleep anywere between 2 to 3 hours through the day in one go and still wakes up at night, even if its only an hour she still wakes up...grrrrr. I bet you didnt know what to do with yourself either for those 2 hours hehehehe
Bel - Kabana!!!! carrot sticks, pretzels, strawberries..im coming!!!!!
Anna - thanks mate! now im hundgry for some watermelon lol
Just on a stupid water authority note...we have been on stage 4 water restrictions here for ages and today the water board has decided to put it back down to level 2...what the??? right near summer and all. Stupid if you ask me cause Lake Eilden is only at 20% capacity. I'll still be a tight @rse with my watering.
Does someone want some itchy nipples...their going for free
OK now to catch up!
Anna.. what a great big post! Thank you. Yeh i like bright colours.I always liked drawing as a kid, i get it from my dad, he's awesome. But yeh i had fun.
Rikki.. thank you. Oh sorry to hear about your cousin. Yeh a holiday to get away would be a nice idea, clear her head etc.
Helen.. im sorry too, i hope youre feeling better soon.
Belle.. something my sister does for all her kids parties, which i think is great, is she gets party frankfurts and those little dinner rolls you bake in the over and makes mini hotdogs. Easy to make and everyone loves them.
Jesse's mum's group party was fun today. Have taken some piccies so will get them up soon.
ooooh!!! thanks Maz, Anna and Kell they all sound really good!
Rikki - honey so sorry to hear that Ains is still sick...thinking of both ofyou.
BBL girls Julia is calling me.

Hey there,
Forgot it was Friday today. Sily Apex public hol made me think it was Saturday with Rick being home.
Anyways, my boys are at Bunnings so I thought I would catch up...
Shell - 6 weeks preggas today. I will update my ticker but after my baby boy is 1 year old.:(
Maz - Hows Miss Vy today??? Yucky spew!!!! Love your ticker.
Nessa - yes the baby is important but you are too coz you're the Mummy and you are Nessa. It is hard to seperate the two but just try to each day do something that is 'normal' for you. Like before you became 'The Mummy' did you like to go for walks by yourself or watch an old movie or just sit and watch the clouds drift by etc? When I was dealing with my PND, I tried to do something each day for me/Vicky not 'The Mummy'. I usually took the furkid for a walk because that was something I used to do when it was just Rick and I. Remember - there is ALWAYS light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there matey. xx
Belle - hope you are getting back on track! xx
Helen - don't you love the way they say a 'complete m/c'. I nealry punched the doc in the head when he said to me at my ultrasound that it was 'complete'. He made it sound like it was an acheivement or somehting. Hope all goes well...you hang in there too! xx
Too evryone else - hope you have a great weekend and that you don't have too many sleepless nights / yucky nappies / up-chucks down bras re: Maz / teethy problems.
Kiddies - BE GOOD!!!!!
See ya's Monday. xxx
OH Kell - im gonna have to steal the little boy and small roll idea..thats fantastic. Cant wait to see the pics either, Jesse is such a photogenic little man
Bel - lalalallalalalalalaa
Vixstar - Vy's getting better and actually having a second sleep (OMG) oh and the complete miscarridge..I got complete abortion I must have looked like I was slapped across the face cause the doc went red. I know its their job but $hit tack factor would be nice.
Going to buy some chineese for tea...singapore noodle for me with lemon sauce over them
Maz - I got 'incomplete abortion' on my visit prior to my D&C. Nice huh? I know that is the proper medical term... but still!
Wow, so many of us (well, not me personally) have lost a little angel somewhere along the line.
About to rush to youth group, but I'm feeling rather bleuuugh. Just saw the dark side of my fruit loops. Or...perhaps the green side. Sorry. Might try cornflakes tomorrow morning.
Hope everyone has a fantastic night. And kids, stay away from the fruit loops.
Popping in quickly while Nina is asleep and Heath is having a lay down.
It's been such a crazy week here. Heath's surgery went well, except they found an infection during surgery, so he's on strong antibiotics for that. They say the infection has been there for some time. We'll get the bt results next week and will know more. He's very sore and weak.
Nina has been a little turd all week during the night. Probably cause her routine is completely out of whack. She was good last night, so hopefully things are going to start improving there.
Other than that though, she's been really good. She's saying some more words, Daddy (she was saying Dad, but Daddy now), she's also saying clock, and will point to things and say what they are, and the other day she started to try and say Nina. Everytime we say her name, she repeats it! Luckily we chose an easy name for her!
She's getting pretty good with her walking. Not walking on her own completely yet, but it won't be long till she is.
I might be changing her daycare to a new one being built around the corner. 4 staff from her current daycare are going to this new one, and 3 other kids in her class are going as well. Nina's group leader, who Nina takes to really well, is one of the staff that is going over. So I'm considering going too. I don't like the other lady that is in the class, as we had words on Nina's first day about something, and ever since I haven't taken to her. And Nina has never taken to her either.
I really don't know how I'm functioning at moment. With working, being so tired, and looking after Heath and Nina, it's certainly taking its toll on me.
I've never been one to ask people for help of any kind, but I think this is the time I need to learn how to, cause I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope for another month of doing this. I leave home at 7.15am and get home at 6.00pm. I really need to work as Heath's only on casual so while he's at home there's no income apart from mine.
About a month ago I offered to work for the receptionist on a Saturday as no-one was able to do it, and it's tomorrow of all days! All I need is some time to get myself together. I don't even have clean clothes, I haven't had time to do the washing :( Thank god it's only for 3 hours tomorrow morning.
Sorry for no personals, I'll try and get on again sometime next week. Haven't had a chance to read up on all the posts yet.
Been busy organising rubys party. Rubys better but millana sick now. Im flat out so BBL
Annat rest up girl.Your so naughty!
Jodi-, I know what you mean i don't like asking for help but sometimes we need to. Do you have ppl near by that can help you out? Too bad you don't live near by I could come over and help out.
Got in alot of packing today, did pre settlement inspection of the place, I so can't wait to be settled in, we just keep getting stressed. One good thing though Matt spoke to manager at Foxtel and got us out of the $100 moving fee so we should seeing as we've had it for years.
hugs Jodi.. i am in the same boat as you..
Its so hard to find a good balance of work/family at the moment..
I have read all the posts, i just cant sit here and reply to everyone sorry.l.. so hugs to you all xoxo
have great weekend!

Hope you have a great day!!
Nessa.. you wont end up there darl.. hope your appointment helps you today.
Helen.. the house is beautiful! I love the colour on the walls and the step in the living area! What a groovey house!! How come youre selling?
Well nothing big for us today. Grahames working both today and tomorrow (his new job). Feel a little bad for him. He's not liking it much so far.. alot of the people there smoke and just smoke anywhere they want, he doesnt so yeh it kinda gets to you and he said its quite dusty, so not a great environment to work in. I think hes just at the farm he is atm for 6 months or something to train then he'll go over the the better farm, but yeh not very good. I just hope it picks up for him.
Anyways.. off to go get the washing, enjoy my coffee, feed Jess before we go out and get a few things from the shops.. some chocolate to cheer daddy up with.
Have a good day all.
