Sharleen/Jodi.. you could take them back if your worried. From memory Jesse had them with some of his previous ones. Ill have a look this morning and see what hes like after them yesterday and let you know.
Maz/Sharleen.. hope youre feeling better. Maz sux you cant take any cold and flu tablets. I think theyve beent he saviour for me. Just keep sippin that lempsip with honey. Though you can get a nasal spray that is fine during pregnancy, just ask your chemist.
Jodi.. aww :hugs: Yeh Jess had them in his legs. The doc asked me what id rather and i just said whatever is best. So i just held him sitting with his back against my chest while the nurse and doc did it as quickly as they could. Its still horrible isnt it seeing your baby cry. Thats why i took Grahame too every other time. Can you imagine what it will be like when they go off to school!
Caddie.. good luck today hun.
Meg.. howd James go last night?
Nelle.. haha i would love to be one to be able to get up in the middle of the night and go shopping hehe, im too lazy though.
Well we have a day at home today woo. So need to clean this house. But i think ill just have an easy morning and sorta work my way into it. hehe i hope that happens.
Have a great day all.

Poor babies with their needle lumps. It is quite normal. Eithan hasnt got any this time, but last time he had big popeye thighs for weeks. The dr did the 3 needles really quick, took only about 10secs at the most. She had them all lined up and didnt stop for bandaids/cottonball. Just went bang, bang, bang. 1st he was fine, but cut up for the leg ones. Leith tells me this, I heard him cry from the other side of the door.
Hope you are all doing well.

Ruby had no probs with her needles.Only cried for a little bit.I do all the dr stuff as aaron always working.Ruby had hers in the arms and 1 in leg because apparently in the arms they move them more and the pain dissapears quicker. She had a couple of red lumps for 3 days but gone now.Im pretty lucky boh my girls had no reactions and carried on the day like nothing happened.
Millana slept last night.Just her cold lingering on.
Ok im starving not allowed to eat until after 11am today.1/2 a day with no food. So horrible. lol

I'm stuffed... but so up to date, so really happy. It's 10am, I've finished the housework, got dinner organised, painted 3 feature walls (I finally got a colour!)...Xander is still having his nap so.... ahhhh, now sitting down with an espresso and some choc-chip bikkies that are hot from the oven.
I love days like this. I feel so much better when I'm organised and get a few things done. Wish everyday was like this!

hi guys a quick fly by post, im at mums at the moment we went shopping this morning and I bought the most cute doona cover for Julia's big single bed next to her cot, white with yellow starfish, pink seahorses, green and blue turtles and shells soooo cute! and 100% cotton to for $48 so had to get it!
Girls, quick question also, does anyone not boil water anymore for their babies bottles? Jeffrey decided last night it was time to stop and use tap water so im curious to get the scoop from you guys what you think.

Ahhh... Ness. See the secret to not needing to dust is to live with a minimalist interior! Aside from Xanders' toys, I've only got a few surfaces that I need to wipe over occasionally (2 coffee tables, TV bench, dining table) - but I do have a massive tiled area that always seems to need mopping.
I don't mind housework to be honest. I'm too damn domesticated I swear.
Caddie - Hope all goes well. Poor you with no food!

Oh i might try and have myself an Anna** day tomorrow. hehe .. bake some cookies have them come out just as Jesse has a nap and make myself a cuppa.. oh envy envy envy!! Hehe..
Ness.. ive done a little. Did the washing up, cleaned up the kitchen and dinning table, chucked out all the boxes from Jesse's birthday presents, tidied our room, put all the clothes away. Its all pretty much done. Need to vacumn but will wait till Gray is home to keep an eye on Jesse. Hows yours going?
Belle.. We've stopped sterilizing but are still boiling Jesse's water for 5 minutes, after whats been shown on the news about our water supply.

Well thank goodness the appointment is over! Ive just eaten an egg,a bowl of risotto and 1/2 bar of rockyroad.Ruby's asleep, millanas wanting to sit on my lap as per usual.I should do cleaniong too but cant be stuffed today.I also need to get my scrap stuff ready for tonight.

Ness - awww on the feet.....
Hope all the girls with colds / flu are getting better...
Belle - I am still boiling water, but we are in Johannesburg and I am not taking any chances.
Anna - you are a domestic goddess, 10 am and you have done all that, I am impressed.
Needles - I am taking Rylee on Friday by myself, she will scream the house down, I hate it, there is no way DH will come, he is even more of a woose (sp) than I am....
Wow to the rest of you doing your cleaning, can't think of what to do for dinner tonight.
Rylee went down at 9.15 pm last night so it is getting better slowly, just need to get it to 8 pm and I will be happy. Anyway, have a bit of a domestic day too, grocery shopping, catching up on admin, etc.

Hi all,
James and I had a great day today. Mum came over and we went shopping. Went to LaPocetta's for lunch and Jamie and I shared a pasta. Then mum helped me with the housework and we knocked it all done in half the time!
Kell - James slept all night last night. He didn't get up till 7:30 this morning, so my prediction was wrong.
James has a very sore bruised looking arm, but otherwise he is alright.
All this talk of meal planning has made me think that I might give it a go.
Laurin - Gook luck with getting Rilee down earlier. sounds like you are getting there slowly.
Ness - hope your foot is alright.
Belle- I am still using boiled water for James, but if I had to, i would use tap water.
Vix - did you get your froot loops?
Ok silly question, but what does ETA stand fori n posts? I have been wondering this for months!!
Take care all
-
Meg - Edited to Add (if in forums)... or it can mean Estimated Time of Arrival (if related to deliveries etc)
-
Nessa.. hope your feet arent so red this morning!
Meg.. oh thats good, he probably needed the sleep, as in sure you did too. I hope he did the same for you last night. Sounds like you had a great day with your mum too.. mums are always good for shopping days hey.
Anna**.. i love those photos of Xander on his bike! What a cutie!!
Its all dark and rainy here today, just the way i like it :)

Quiet morning??!!??
It is SOOOOO windy here. We were meant to be going to the park this afternoon, but too windy, so we are going to a play centre instead.
I have worked out what we are going to do on Jamie's actual birthday. We are going to go to the local park here - that is awesome and have fish 'n chips in the park. Then afterwards we are going to take Jamie to the pool as he LOVES swimming.
I am amazed how many kids are going into big beds now. James is SO not ready for a big bed. He would get out, or fall out. He still really needs a cot as he rolls around, and would fall out in a second!!!
-
Meg - Xander still very much needs to be in a cot as well - I think the recommendation is to keep them there till they are at least two unless they start climbing out (in which case, you'd have to shift them for safety reasons)
Xander has decided that now the sun is coming up earlier, that he should wake earlier too... 5.30am seems to be 'the' time as of late. No wonder I'm tired right now. The cheeky monkey wouldn't go down to sleep last night until after 9pm, which is so unlike him.. so I'm thinking that the molars he has coming through are giving him a bit of grief. It's either that, or he somehow knows we are TTC and has decided he doesn't want a sibling
-
Haha anna! Im sure he would love a sibling! Wait until daylight savings.Im waiting on a friend to give me their blackout curtains because ruby's room gets real hot.
Ruby in a cot still too as she would fall out of a bed and mine does convert to a bed if needed.Shes too little.
The poor thing is coughing her guts out.Trying to sleep but i dont thinnk its gonna happen.I better go and save her.

Hi all,
Hope you are all missing me.
Still not online at home. Having so many dramas with this modem business. Our new one is lost somewhere! The way things are going I am regretting changing to Virgin Broadband.
Anyways Ash loved her present from KK, very cute. We had great birthday, having her party on sunday.
Hope to be back online soon.

hi ladies!
hope everyone is well.
savanna had her needles yesterday and was fantastic. she screamed when they went in then was smiling away as usual with tears all over her face. she slept pretty well last night but woke at 6am cause she wriggled out of her wrap so i put her in her gro bag and brought her in the bed with me and went back to sleep. we both woke at 10am cause steve likes to make a grand entrance when arriving home from work in the morning. lol
she is now fast asleep in her swing in the lounge.
my younger brother bought 2 blocks of land today. 1 for himself to build a house for him and my parents and 1 for us. the titles will be released in may next year so if we decide we dont want it he will sit on it as an investment. im so proud of him and how responsible and hardworking he is.
i cant remember who asked but i stoped boiling water for formula at around 8 months but now savanna is on full cowsmilk.
i should really think about meal planning im so damn lazy i hate cooking and hate thinking of things to cook even more hahaha
we have roller shutters on our windows so its a real plus for when the sun decides to come up early. our sleep is not disturbed hehe
i am having my dads 60th birthday party at my place on saturday and we have sooooooooooo many family over arghhhhh i will go crazy. im also working both saturday and sunday so im going to be so exhausted grrrrr
well have a great night ladies
oh and congrats chrissy!!!

Oh Meg, Jesse aint no where near ready for a big bed yet either. He's still practicing his walking and would roll off for sure. He has no fear that boy, until he hurts himself. So yeh not gonna happen for a while yet here. But will be getting him a car bed when the time comes. Has the built in sides and is low to the floor.
Anna**.. Jesses been doing the early wake up too.. not as bad, but has gone from 7.30am to waking at 6.30am. Also Grahame gets up at that time for work now so he brings Jesse in with me where we "try" and lay for a little while.. never happens though!
Best get the boy to bed..
