Nina's not feeling her best. She might be getting a chest infection. She has a nasty cold & cough, and isn't her usually bubbly self.
We went to Maccas for brekkie and she wasn't even interested in the hotcakes, which is unlike her.

Ness - Tim is a HUGE North Melbourne fan, and we had James' party yesterday at 2pm. We did birthday cake at about 3:30, then at 4:30 the telly went on and they watched the footy. It didn't bother me. if the party starts at 12:30, you can do cake around 2pm, and then let them watch the GF. It probably wouldn't bother me.........

Ness, I can understand they might want to watch the footy, what I'd be annoyed at is people sitting in my lounge room for a few hours in my house completely ignoring me...If I was you, I'd push the party forward, like to 11 or something, then kick them all out before the final starts! :p Frees you up to enjoy the rest of the day, take the kids out to a park or something.
(That's why we're having River's bbq on Sunday...got a few Geelong supporters here)
Just realised I have my u/s tomorrow and I've forgotten to get a referral - poo bum wee, I'll have to go get it either today or tomorrow morning now!
I know what you mean Ness, why should your little girl have to come second to a footy game?? Seriously. But, these things are very important to some people.
The midwife said I can pop around to the hospital to get my referral this arvo! So much better than going tomorrow morn, then coming back my way for the u/s, then going back to the hospy for the appt! :p Phewf. Serves me right for having no brain though. Better go get dressed.

Ruby learnt how to clap 2 nites ago! She can now say hello,duck,dharma and of course mum and dad.
No walking just standing on her own at times.I cought her today with a small plastic spatula of millanas cooking set.She thought it was a hairbrush and was trying to brush her own hair.Was so cute and managed to get a couple of pics with me telling her to do it again.She must understand alot more than she can speak. When she pulls her lackies out of her hair she tries to put them back in? hairdresser in the making me thinks. lol.

I dont think Eithan is too good. He has been off for the last week since having his needles. Yesterday he had a small rash on his face. Today he has eaten nothing, drunk nothing and he bursts into tears if I leave him. He actually just sat and cuddled me for an hr then went straight to sleep.

Nelle-I hope that bub behaved for you and you got to have a good look.

Helen - The doc told me that they can be unsettled for about a week after the needles. And a rash on the face is common also. Keep an eye on him, and if you think it is warranted, take him back to the GP.
Kell - I will post some pics when I get around to it. I am in lazy mode atm.

Im knackered been out for 4 hours shopping with Julia, bought some really cute stuff though, but spent my budget on Julia's clothes this month already lol...oh well thankfully shes just in bed now hopefully not as whingy as last night, can see two teeth at the bottom coming through it took us nearly 2 hours last night for her to settle to sleep... but shes got her favourite toy in her cot (her lamb) so hopefully she will be ok now cause I need to sleep too.
